after the talk with your boy Charles Gergon.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
And beautiful let me get your mind.
Speaker 10 (02:00):
I don't hear your money.
Speaker 8 (02:05):
And we got a new co host right here. You
got around the close here, So why don't you let
everyone know who you are?
Speaker 1 (02:19):
So you know what we tend to do one second
before I let you introduce yourself. One second. So this
is what we generally do here at We talk weekly.
So oftentimes we got people who come by the show
that has some interesting things to say, especially as it
relates to some of the things that we do here.
And we talk weekly. Right, and so we got, uh,
you know, we have someone that's gonna talk a little
bit about some politics, right, we got people talking about
(02:41):
some lifestyle stuff. Then we got someone talk a little
bit about fashion. That's one of my favorite things. We
have someone with whom I have a tremendous amount of
respect for that actually was a guest but no longer guests. Right.
She a friend to the show and we pop in
every month or so to talk that talk. So how
are you, my friend?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
How are you? I?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
I'm good, I'm great. I'm so excited. I'm happy to
be here.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Thank you for a random repulse. For that random repulse. Why
don't you you know real quick?
Speaker 5 (03:06):
Won't you let everyone know kind of like who you
are and what you do?
Speaker 11 (03:10):
You know?
Speaker 10 (03:11):
Well, hey, everyone, good evening. I will tell myself welcome back,
because this is my second.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Time in the buildings right sort the work, you.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Know, that's how God works. He brought me back. I
had to come back and bust a yui.
Speaker 10 (03:23):
But I am suris Monique, your favorite confidence coach. I
am here representing the Rebuild your Life brand. I am
here to shed the light, like you said on fashion positivity,
That's what I do. Also, I am a serial entrepreneur.
I am an author licensed social worker coming from the
(03:45):
construction field. That's the uniqueness, that's the grit, that's the muscle,
that's the muck and basically to make a.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Long story short or short story shorter.
Speaker 10 (03:57):
I'm here to share all those personal experiences with you
to get the people going, to get you.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Going fantastic, fantastic, get roundom for prous with her and
so yeah, so we like to add some of the
people to the show. Unfortunately, Lauren Susan wasn't here today.
I think she's a little under the weather. And uh,
you know, a classic classy lady. She's in the building,
you know, lady. Yes, thought she she's busy. She's been
pretty busy in the house. She and I had she
(04:23):
in the house with us, you know. And so we
talked weekly after the talk with w PPM on p
Philadelphia want O six point five FM. We talked weeklies
after the talk and.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Uh, you know how I like to start.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
You know, we're gonna start with, you know, classic lady,
how was your day?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
How was your day?
Speaker 5 (04:36):
My day was chill, It wasn't bad.
Speaker 10 (04:38):
I'm glad that the uh rain stop. I've been doing
a three mile job like pretty much every morning, but
because of the rain, I haven't been doing it. So
now I got to, like I said, I don't know
if it's a muscle spasm in my back, because you know,
I'm getting older, so I gotta keep working out. But yes,
chill today. An empty nester, so I don't.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
Really have a lot of you know, a lot of
chatter going on in the house anywhere. So yeah, yeah,
so what about you?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
How was you doing?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
How was you My Saturday was pretty good.
Speaker 10 (05:12):
I did the you know Sunday morning clean and getting
the house fresh and clean, you know, turn.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
The music and open the windows.
Speaker 10 (05:20):
That's what I did today. Most kids know when that's
when they hear the music and they smell the pine
sol or.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
We I'm kind of like the empty nester like you.
So I have dogs, okay, Yeah, I think.
Speaker 10 (05:32):
Every time I say I'm a get one, it's like
a kid to me. And then I'm like the kids
then bore them, and then I give them away.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Listen, if you're not serious, don't do it.
Speaker 10 (05:41):
Yeah. I have dogs my whole life, and but I
treat them like my children.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
That's what the thing.
Speaker 10 (05:45):
I'm just you know, yeah, oh I've had dogs. Yeah,
I just so, I was like, I don't know if
I'm ready to take on another kid having to find
dogs to do. Yeah, it's a lot, it's a lot. Yeah,
And when my dog, my last dog passed away. It
felt like a family it was a family member. It ain't, no,
felt like it. I don't want to do this, no,
so I said, fifteen years I had her Max. But yeah,
(06:08):
so for dogs, I mean, when I tell you a
smart dog like smart, you would think it was a
pit bull behind that door? What what's so?
Speaker 1 (06:29):
How was your dad super busy, super busy of course
preparing for this movie that we're actually going to set
that uh my glam squad is actually putting together and
so is busy for that on the movie starts shooting
actually tomorrow, I believe. And so that's gonna be a
dynamic thing.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
But you don't work everything to show everything just take
up my time.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
So you already know how what that's about. You know
what I mean, you know for sure. So we're going
that way too busy, way too big. But that's the thing,
right and staying busy, So busy busy good or busy bad?
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Is it good?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Busy good?
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Yeah? You don't want to be a hamster good?
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Then we don't got nothing to do it anything like
you ain't doing it.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
But that's the part, right, So it is like, you know,
are you being productive or are you just doing no.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
That I don't.
Speaker 10 (07:19):
You don't want to be nothing busy. You want to
be like thriving, busy. Busy could be gardening, like you
know what I'm saying, Like, long as you don't, long
as you know you live it, that to me is busy.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Well you've been doing some gardening too, right I have.
Speaker 10 (07:33):
Yeah, I got my cucumber, I even start growing the
aloe plant for facial stuff and for hairspray.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Like just yeah, let me find's mon.
Speaker 10 (07:43):
Yeah, yoh yeah, yeah, bring me my grand babies.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
That's what I tell bring.
Speaker 10 (07:48):
My grand babies. Don't have them walking all over my flowers.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Right, that's funny, that's funny.
Speaker 12 (07:54):
So you know, let's let's start right there, since our
guests unfortunately had a little issue kind of getting here,
and so as we wait for our next guest, our
next guest, why we talk a little bit about you know,
you know, let's go.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Into you and how you have been motivating you know,
kind of like you know, young girls, people who are
you know, kind of challenging just understanding themselves. And you
have been out there pretty much in the streets and
doing the good work. What do you start with as
it relates to you know, someone who would come to
you and they might potentially be feeling down or they
(08:29):
feel like, you know, they can't succeed. What do you
tell them?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
What is that process?
Speaker 10 (08:33):
Like, First, we have to identify with the issues or
you know what I mean, identifying with the problem is
or it might not necessarily be a problem, but what
is your reason for wanting to reach out and get help?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
You know, what is it?
Speaker 10 (08:45):
And then once we identify what the issue is, and
then the next thing is to you know, kind of
put together some action steps, so realistic action steps, and
we basically just kind of like go from there based
off of the action steps, know, break them down into
you know, realistic goals and timing and you know, things
like that, and figure out a play which makes sense
(09:07):
because you know some people they come to you with
different type of issues. So each action step, each plane
quote unquote treatment plan is gonna look the same, you
know what I mean. And sometimes it might be a teenager,
sometimes it might be an adult, you know what I mean.
Sometimes it might be you know, a mother from the
daycare might need some assistance.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
So it all depends. But first we gotta identify what
the problem is.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Right right, right, So let's say, for example, let's let's
jump into you know, some some pop culture, right and
some of the things that has been happening in a
in a in the world today, specifically around the whole
Where are you going? You know where we're going?
Speaker 11 (09:43):
Right?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
And so you know this, this this big trial has
been on everybody's front page, on their timeline and everything,
and so you know, what, what do you tell someone
who feels like maybe social media has been too much
right and there and they're going through you know, social
media overload. It's just reoverlord, right, you know, because one
of the things I'm like, I'm tired of hearing about
(10:04):
the scene is on everything I open up. So what
you know, how do you manage that? What would you
tell someone who's like, yo, man, like you know, they're
just depressed over this whole?
Speaker 3 (10:13):
I love that question.
Speaker 10 (10:14):
That's a good question because that's something that I practice daily,
because you know, I have to be on social media
because of what I do, whether I like it or not,
and you have to learn how to and I, for me,
first of all, I like to stay even like I'm
the type of person I have the personality where I
can be like up here, like I'm not a person
who's up here. Emotionally, I have to stay balanced, I
(10:35):
have to feel comfortable, you know what I mean. So
I've been practicing that during their all my life how
to do that. So when social media became so much
of this epidemic and so much of an influence on everybody,
I felt that it was important to differentiate what's real
(10:56):
what's not with fake you know what I mean, with
with like the sprinkle on top with cap you know
what I mean. And that's what I taught to girls
in my program, you know, in my girl's program, Like
first of all, what you're seeing, what you think it is, like,
let's differentiate like reality from you know, with fake here.
But I just think as far as and like I said,
(11:19):
I do this all the time because I feel like
this every day. Social media is so freaking loud, Like
it's so loud, even before the case, it's just so
so loud. And if you're a person who was constantly
on air, you have to learn how to intentionally, you
have to learn how to turn it off. You have
to learn how to turn it off, and emotionally, like
(11:41):
you have to have that emotional intelligence, that discipline for yourself.
You know what I mean to say, Okay, enough is enough?
Or how to disconnect emotionally, disconnect what you're hearing, what
you're seeing, because that stuff will go in.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
You be carrying in your spirit, you know what I mean.
You be caring in your spirit.
Speaker 10 (11:57):
You won't even be on social media anymore, and you
be feeling some type of way, and you like, why
do I feel like this? That's what you were seeing,
what you were looking at, what you was taking in.
So we got to do like those cleansings we have
to do like a cleanse. And people don't realize throughout today.
You know, like you said, when you have it in
your spirit, let's just say, okay, you watch whatever. Now
you got it in your spirit. And then you start cooking.
(12:19):
Now you're cooking food.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 10 (12:23):
You cooking food now that you're about to serve to
your family. I mean, you know what I'm saying. Some
people be like, I don't.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
Know, I don't believe it.
Speaker 10 (12:29):
Well, it's real, Like the energy that you're now having
and you're making biscuits, you seasoning up fish, you touching
raw fish. You putting that energy in your food that
your family is about to absorb now, so really be
mindful of what you digest in your body and your ears,
what you see all of that. It really is something
(12:51):
that opens up different realms. And one thing I did,
like with the kids empty nester. Now, you know, I
got a thirty year old, so when they were growing up,
you know, Instagram it was my space back then. I
was like, you're you're not going to go to sleep
with this phone in your hand. You're going to have
it where we got family time at the table. You
know what I'm saying. It's like, as parents, as guardians,
(13:15):
they have to make sure that they're you know, giving
them the structure for as they get older. I mean,
but at the end of the day, they still have
grown up. Like my twenty four year old, she grown
up around this, so it's like this is like her
world and it's sad, but it's just this generation. I mean,
we got a president and I'm not talking about Trump
(13:35):
when in this time, but he was the first one
who used social media for his campaign. Like that's how
serious this is, you know, just taking over.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
I see, lady, lady.
Speaker 10 (13:49):
I just told you she in the house.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
I was.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
In the house, you right, lady, I stop his definiting building.
She part of the family, so we want to make
sure that she gets on here, and so I talk
a little bit about you know how you know, in fact,
why don't you go ahead and jump a lady, as
dot has definitely a been Why don't you talk about
your today? How was your day? Lady doing this having
(14:45):
a problem with this audio real quick. But you know,
when we talk a little bit about, what we're talking
about right now is pretty much how you know what's
going on in the world today and how they're absorbing
all this social media, you know, and what's going on
with all the social media, not just social media, but
you know what spark you brought up an excellent point
when you talk a little bit about you know, what
(15:06):
energy does and how it kind of goes into certain things,
or how potentially is you in a bad mood or
you hear something, you get some toxic energy, you start
making a plate and you throwing is popping.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Throwing these seasons, you know, doing all that season stuff, right.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
And you're throwing all the bad stuff.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
But you know what, I've just seen a post where
someone was singing, which was interesting. Don't put welcome on
your doorstep, because when you put welcome on there, you
welcome in anything.
Speaker 10 (15:37):
How about that it's coming from centers though, Oh that's coming.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Oh that's see.
Speaker 10 (15:41):
I didn't see it.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
Yeah I see.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Did you see centers?
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I did not.
Speaker 11 (15:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (15:49):
It's like basically it's like even going back to the vampires,
only if you welcome and welcome them in, that's the
only way that they can have access to you know,
I guess calls havoc. And it's the same way like
with voodoo. They tell you if you believe in it,
it'll hurt you, but if you don't, so you welcome
in something. And so I mean it's the same with hello,
(16:10):
like they're saying it's hell, Like you know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (16:13):
Hell?
Speaker 10 (16:15):
Yeah, grand rise, like.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Good morning, saying morning morning.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
So how would you it was?
Speaker 11 (16:29):
You know, I'm multitasking. Yeah, I'm trying to get around
my bun too. I'm multitesking. Got a couple of things
going on. So today was very What do you say,
who do you call them? Days? Mental string? You like,
even though I watch people that's like lugging things and
(16:52):
carrying things, and I'm like physically, they're probably tired. But
I'll just step away from my computer and be like,
who mm hmmm. It's a mental thing, you know. My
brain is ti here, But physically I ain't did nothing,
and that's possible. So I'm all good. I'm happy. I'm
here with y'all.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
No, as you know, we talked.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
We have to talk with w P m P Philadelphia,
wan on six point five, and so we talked Wester
to talk. I think I'm ready to go into you want.
Speaker 10 (17:20):
To go and I'm ready, all right, all right, yeah,
I'm ready. No, we don't have no good news. I
ain't even go hold you all right, Well, I don't know.
Newark Mayor Roths Baraka was arrested. Yeah, he was released
(17:41):
after be entertained for several hours.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Friday.
Speaker 10 (17:44):
He was arrested at a protest at the new Federal
Immigration Detention Center. Now this is the Newark mayor, y'all.
He was at the detention center and Delaney Hall. Baracca
was charged with trespassing after allegedly refusing to leave the
property of Video shows that the mayor was standing on
the public side of the gate when he was taken
into custody. For those who don't know you know Philly Jersey.
(18:07):
They write there in each other. Mayor Ross Baraka is
running for governor of New Jersey, so this is like
a big thing for him to get arrested from Ice.
And he's a Democrat. So he was stepping out of
his suv with flashing lights after his relief and he
said I didn't do anything wrong. While he couldn't speak
on the case directly, he stressed all of us here,
(18:28):
no matter what our background is, where you come from,
we have to stop these people from causing division between us. Baraka,
a Democrat running to succeed Governor Phil Murphy, was outspoken
opponent of the detention center. It was run by the
private prison GEO Group. His wife, Lynda Baraka, accused the
(18:49):
federal agents of targeting him, saying they didn't arrest anyone
else and they wanted to make an example out of
the mayor. Ice who arrested him claimed that the protesters,
including the New Jersey Congress members, tried to storm the gate,
but Representative Bonnie Watson fireback, saying we did not storm
the detention center. We were exercising our legal oversight. New
(19:10):
Jersey's Attorney General and immigrant rights group have condemned the arrest,
while GEO projects of the prison facility could still continue
to earn over sixty million dollars a year. So do
you think they arrested him based on trespassing or because
they were kind of like silencing, silencing protesting, silent protesting,
(19:31):
which I think.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
It sounds like.
Speaker 10 (19:35):
What's been already happening in the world with our people.
It sounds like he was like it was a set up.
It was no alteriomotives, like a silace, yeah, protesting, Yeah,
trying to make them an example.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Yeah, yeah, all.
Speaker 10 (19:51):
Right, that's is that good news bad news?
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Which I think they're not.
Speaker 10 (19:54):
Ain't good news, not like I mean, like I said,
he running for governor and these politicians like if you
get any kind of news, it's like it kind of
helped out, Like all publicity is like that good publicist
something that's I think. So that's why I was like,
I don't know about that one, but this one, this
store right here, this is not good. Philadelphia's twenty twenty
(20:16):
three HIV surveillance reports highlights both progress and challenges in
the site. In the city's fight against HIVA is we're
this is Philadelphi, ladelphiayah HIV stats for Philly. There's something
viral going on. Viral, no pun intended. That's like a
double one times. Yeah, yeah, I mean, and I don't
(20:39):
even know why I'm laughing like that ain't even funny.
But it's something viral on Instagram that's saying that the
teenagers in Philadelphia the HIV has gone like crazy high,
crazy high. So, however, I got facts for you, So
again that's Instagram. But here's some facts that I found out.
All right, the cities participating in the ER Ending the
(21:01):
HIV Epidemic Initiative, so it aims to reduce new diagnoses
by ninety percent by the year twenty thirty, so it
has a seventy five reduction rate targeted by twenty twenty five.
So new diagnosises had decreased just slightly, with three hundred
and seventy eight new cases reported by June of twenty
twenty four, so that's down from three hundred and ninety
(21:21):
one in twenty twenty two, but they're still short of
the goal. So it's still there. But access to care
remains the challenge with marginalized groups, especially the non Hispanic
black men. Who have sex with men facing the highest
rates of new diagnoses. So that's still within that LGBTQ community,
(21:43):
and they missed opportunities for early testing affects to increase
HIV awareness and improved care, including the expansion of a
low threshold testing and PREP access. So for those who
may not know, PREP is basically I believe something you
can take in order to almost like fight it off,
fight off the anybody's from HIV. And then again we're
(22:08):
talking strictly HIV because HIV is the precursor to AID.
So seventy four percent of the people living with HIV
are now in viral suspense of suppression. This is a
step towards reducing transmission. So the City of Philadelphia has
a goal of reaching ninety five percent awareness of HIV
(22:28):
status by twenty twenty five, with an estimated one thousand,
five hundred and eighty six Philadelphians unaware of their HIV status.
I believe that how do they get those stats?
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Though?
Speaker 1 (22:39):
If they're unaware, how do who gets that?
Speaker 10 (22:42):
How Like, if they have that ninety five percent of
awareness of HIV status by twenty twenty five with an
estimated one thousand, five hundred and eighty six Philadelphians that
are unaware of their HIV status.
Speaker 11 (22:55):
Oh you mean yeah, I said, process of elimination may
get tested, right. I'm sure they have a number of
how many people, right, and then how many tests they've done, right,
So they're probably like whole division of social service, like
a census type of thing. Probably.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (23:14):
So this report underscores the need to remove barriers to care,
especially for the underserved populations like the trans transgender individuals,
and people who inject drugs. The Philly Safe Campaign is
one initiative aiming to address these disparities. Y'all can get
more information about this at the www Dot Phili dot
gov backslash Departments Office of Safe Neighborhoods. All that informations
(23:38):
on that interesting.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
I would also say go to Philly keep on lov
and also so so a lot of a lot of
pre exposure prophylactics. So a lot of this has a
lot to do with the people that's out there on
the streets is doing the work that's testing and giving
statistics to the city. Because they have the report, like
(24:01):
it's d I S right, and so they go out
and test people and get you know, certain information to
make sure that the city knows. So I would say
definitely look out to Philly, Keep on Philly, keep on
lov And that's one take control Philly, especially specifically for
the youth. And so when we talk about fighting this
this this pandemic, you know, this epidemic, on making sure
(24:23):
that people are being safe sexually safe, that's very important.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Protection protection, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Getting protection understanding, Like some people don't even know what
PREP is.
Speaker 11 (24:34):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (24:35):
So so it's it's it's kind of like it's called
pre right. So it's the potentially you can take to
make sure that you know, you don't get certain certain things.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
From yes, right.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
So I would say just to get all the information,
go to Philly, keep on loving. I believe it's dot
org Philly, keep it just Google Philly, keep on loving,
or go to take control Philly dot org specific secifically
for youth. And I think they're doing an excellent job
of making sure that youth are covered and being protected
because they get free condoms, right, So they go into
(25:08):
the schools and do all of the work to make
sure that the schools know all that information so the
kids can be safe. And so that's very important because
we are talking about the youth at this point, we
talking about kids.
Speaker 10 (25:19):
And also get tested. Partners can get tested, like hey,
let's go get tested before we do something, right, Like
that's that's another way. Abstinence is another way, I guess.
And then yeah, like being tested. But I think also
people have to understand the different ways you can get AIDS.
(25:40):
It's sexual body fluids and stuff. Now y'all have to
tell me about this part because I don't want to misspeak.
But is oral sex considered, like can you transmissions?
Speaker 1 (25:55):
And like I said, that's what prep will well we
talk about specifically with HIV, right, and so uh definitely,
like when people.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
Say, oh, she only you know what I mean like this,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (26:07):
No, Like you know, it's people who have contracted like
certain diseases orally right, and so they have blisters on
their mouth, they tongued their throats like this thing is root.
So you have to make sure like you're really taking
your care, taking care of yourself and so just get
the information. I think most people don't understand fully what
(26:28):
a lot of this stuff is, and especially if you
feel that you are at risk and understand if you're
having sex unprotected you're at risk.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Period.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
It's no like you know, because you know, gods, we
had this thing where we felt like if she looked nice, you.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Know, she looked good, she looked too good that you.
Speaker 13 (26:49):
Know, you know what I'm saying, Right, it's like, yeah,
looking at the guys too to be like yeah, yeah,
So all right, So was that good news or bad news?
Speaker 3 (27:04):
I mean, see what I'm saying, I think that let's.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Give let's give sparkles some examples of good news.
Speaker 10 (27:11):
No, I'm saying it's informational. It still yeah, exactly, So
we gave information, we gave good status, we gave So
that's that's good. You're trying to neg I mean, it's
still something that got you today. That's my girl, That's right,
that's right, story.
Speaker 11 (27:36):
My dying like that.
Speaker 14 (27:38):
Neither one of them ain't good news.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Good good news.
Speaker 14 (27:43):
Is rainbow flowers.
Speaker 10 (27:46):
Somebody listen and we highlight Philadelphia, hyper Philly.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
What Trump saying, I got no good.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
See?
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Good news is the Eagles one? The super Bowl?
Speaker 3 (28:07):
What about the Plantation House on the weekend? Yes, we
can talk about.
Speaker 10 (28:11):
That, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good news.
Speaker 15 (28:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (28:18):
I think that was the last one too.
Speaker 11 (28:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
The last plant major plantation where we know what understood
that our people right, yes, was there and that somebody
the creator that he said, you know what, it's.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Time to get that thing off first that fell.
Speaker 11 (28:36):
That's they don't know their status. So now out here
we just here.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
We're out here just slinging.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
It's good news to nothing.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
But yes, good Now.
Speaker 10 (28:52):
I wasn't even gonna do the story about the Louisiana
because I did hear it, and I should have, but
we don't as well talk about it and added to
the good news. All right, all right? So yeah, so
the plantation that is in it's in White Castle, Louisiana.
It was built in like eighteen fifty nine by enslaved
labor and it was for a sugar magnate, John Hampden Randolph.
(29:17):
It was fifty three thousand square feet. Give me an
example of fifty three thousand square feet? Is that that's
like yeah square foot estate, that's a It had like
sixty four rooms, a three story rotunda.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Like how big it's the White House.
Speaker 11 (29:35):
Yeah, I'm always comparing football fields.
Speaker 10 (29:38):
Yeah, that's like that's major. Yeah, well it was. The
mansion was repurposed as a resort in an event venue
serving like a site for reflection and education about the
region's history. But somebody was like, this show, what's that
song from back in the day about burning.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
The roof?
Speaker 1 (30:03):
The roof is.
Speaker 10 (30:08):
That's what they need to be singing for this one.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
So they got some old spirituals going on in the
background right now.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (30:15):
Yeah, And if we're talking about energy, we can see
if you know, if you got the spiritual lie, how
many did you see walking around the land that was
like probably freeing themselves from that?
Speaker 3 (30:25):
So well, I know it's definitely chilling.
Speaker 10 (30:27):
It was definitely when you see it, it's definitely like, yeah,
send it chills through your body.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
Yeah, so it's it was arson.
Speaker 10 (30:34):
Someone did allegedly, uh burn the plantation down and good
writtens for it. So all right, well I got one
more story incredible.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Cause for that, I'm looking at an example of what
fifty three thousand square feet is and literally that's the
size of a extended warehouse, right, I mean, they got
they this is fifty three thousand feet and they're showing
pretty much a complete gym, the play gym, ninja courses,
(31:10):
like everything that's fifty three thousand square feet. So when
you think of how big that is. And that's just
the house. That's not the land, is it.
Speaker 10 (31:20):
Asking that's no, that's just the house. That's just yeah,
that's just the land. Okay, So we're talking about because
it held sixty four rooms, I believe.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
Yeah, that's that's that's huge. So we're not we didn't
even get to the surround the land where they probably
had you know, our ancestors planting and pulling and all that. That.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Wow, that's crazy.
Speaker 10 (31:41):
Okay, I see that we got.
Speaker 5 (31:48):
Thanks for the good news.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Exactly, that's good news.
Speaker 10 (31:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right. The last one is educational.
This is for the election coming up. So the primary
election is approaching. We got to do are civic duty
by letting you guys know Pennsylvania voters are heading to
the polls on May twenty if now, the deadline has
already came for the registration by mail and all of that,
(32:16):
so now only the twenty if you can you can vote.
So there are also three important ballot questions the Pennsylvania
I'll say yes, a Pennsylvania holds a closed primary. Sore.
Here's the information on that. You can only vote for
candidates and the party you're registered with. But the party
affiliation doesn't affect the ballot questions, so you know about that.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Yeah, So for those who don't understand that, So, if
you're a Democrat, you have to vote Democratic. If you
are a Republican, you have to vote Republican. Unfortunately, if
you part of the Green Party independent, if nobody is running,
you can't vote. So Pennsylvania is a closed primier. It's
closed primary, which means that you can only vote for
(32:58):
your party.
Speaker 10 (32:59):
So what are what do you tell the rebels that
go in there? And like, nah, I'm a Democrat, but
I want to put that Republican or I want a Republican.
I want to hit that Democrat button.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
It probably won't count. I don't know what happens, but
it probably won't count. But I know potentially you can
still vote on the questions. I think that's new party.
So if you independent, you can still vote for the questions.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
I believe that.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
You know, y'all might want to do your research because
I don't like to misspeak, and I believe that.
Speaker 10 (33:25):
So, like I said, May fifth was the last day
to register. May thirteenth was the final day.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Just three days, yes, this is three days.
Speaker 10 (33:34):
May twentieth, Yeah, So people who were talking about the
May fifth register, y'all missed it. May thirteenth was the
final dat to apply for mailing absentee ballot. Y'all missed it.
So the twentieth, the polls will be open from seven
am to eight pm. Now here's something that I learned
from we talk weekly from our guests. If you are
(33:54):
in line and it's eight o'clock, you can remain in line,
so you could be seen up until nine o'clock, depending
on how on that line is. But as long as
you was in that line by eight o'clock, you can
still go.
Speaker 11 (34:06):
Ahead and vote.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
So don't get out the line.
Speaker 10 (34:09):
Don't get out the line right and then to vote,
make sure you're registered and bringing your ID for your
first time voters at the polling place. So in Philadelphia,
currently District Attorney who district Current District District DA Attorney
Larry Krasner was here doing an exclusive interview with We
talked weekly. He faces former Judge Patrick Dugan. Krasner, who's
(34:33):
known for his progressive criminal justice reforms, seeks to maintain
his position and Dugan, who served as a municipal court judge,
promises harsher penalties for violent offenders while offering second chances
to low level offenders.
Speaker 11 (34:48):
So do your.
Speaker 10 (34:48):
Homework on both candidates and make sure you're informed and
ready to vote.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Fantastic, fantastic, So make sure you do your civic.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Do election going on in yeah, yeah, yeah. And what
are the seats.
Speaker 10 (35:03):
It's the superior the judges for the superior commonwealth courts,
the common pleas and municipal courts, and the judges and
the DA interesting, yeah, Philly.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
And listen, listen, it's very listen. These are the judges, right, people.
I could care less about the presidency, but it's the
judges that affects us directly. You know what I'm talking about?
From shout out all my brothers that's up there.
Speaker 10 (35:32):
You see how you going to make sure that you
put more of your energy into the presidential election, which
I kind of get. I'm not saying that there's no
pros to it, but the pros to your state and
local judges who who make family I said, the common
police court, your family decisions, your school decisions, your money decisions,
(35:53):
your your wages, like everything, and nobody even be knowing
that these you know that this that this you know,
this judging is going on, like this voting is going on.
It's special voting of it, that's why.
Speaker 11 (36:08):
And they need to be because that's the ones that.
Speaker 10 (36:10):
Affect us directly, directly exactly.
Speaker 11 (36:12):
Everybody is focused on.
Speaker 10 (36:14):
A council and theresidency, the presidency because I feel like
because the popularity is the most popular, the bigger ones.
Speaker 11 (36:21):
But they need they definitely, like they say, take care
of home first, right, So they need to do that
because when families start having issues and your son and
got locked up, and this one overhead and this this,
and now you sitting in somebody court room, you don't
you don't don't you're all the president at that point
because you're going many many steps beyond.
Speaker 10 (36:42):
I mean everything anything that's domestic family, anything that goes
like with arrest or a law, legislation has to go
in front of a judge. So that's like so major
to me.
Speaker 11 (36:55):
And all that paper, all that male, we get to
come to our house with the city of Philadelphia on.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
It, people throw it in trash, but that's all.
Speaker 11 (37:02):
That's all all the things though, Yeah, all the decisions
are made first.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
So y'all get to vote your judges in votes the
judges in Yes, we don't do that in Delaware.
Speaker 10 (37:17):
So they're appointed.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
I believe they're appointed. We don't have no election for judges, No.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
We I mean there's some judges that appointed before these
judges right now we're electing them. We're saying, like, yo,
I'm exercising my civic duty. I'm going to vote because
I know what this judge is. Now. We don't tell
you who to vote for, right, but we will say,
do your due diligence and vote for uh policy that
affects you specifically.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Right.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
So if you say, for example, I mean, if you're
a Republican and you want to see you know, it's
locked up in certain cities and certain inner cities, then
I us vote for good.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
But if you look like me.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
And you in these cities and you tied us and
lock the flooding, you know, and they don't want to
listen to you, They want to you know, give mandatory
minimums and all of this stuff. I mean you might
want to consider that these ain't the judges that we
want to vote for for our community.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Right.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
And so we're nonpartisan here on a show, So we
invite any conversation, babe, whether you're a Republican or Democrat. Right.
But what I will say is that things that our
audience you want to vote for, the things that affect
you directly for your community.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Right.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
And so if you miss little day day right, and
they they ain't really do nothing. It was just a
stopping frisks. And you know judges that are really hard
on certain things, you might want to think about and
do your research on that particular judge. Right. And so
that's what's so important, Like you know, don't I just
appreciate the process of going through what I like, what
(38:48):
I don't like, what's good, what's not, staying informed? Right,
And so I always say, look, it don't matter who
you vote for, just make sure that you vote because
this is something that you want to do and you
operate through your agency. Don't let anyone take that away.
Speaker 10 (39:03):
From And pretty much it's with the judges. How many
judges have we had here that have visited. We have
about six. I think it's eleven that are running and
nine that can fill the seat if I'm not mistaken,
So eleven are running, but nine can run fit you know,
(39:25):
nine eleven are running, and then nine can get nine
seats that they can fill. Again, it's the district attorney,
the city controller, and judges for the Superior and Commonwealth
courts along with the common pleas and municipal courts. So
that's that's major. That's so major. I mean, I don't
know another way to stress how major that is. But
(39:47):
that was your good news and your bad news. Lads,
beautiful class ladies, beautiful.
Speaker 5 (39:57):
And beautiful, and we hear you guys to go anywhere
and we come back.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
We got lad you got something for.
Speaker 11 (40:05):
I just got a couple of things, A couple things, not.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Much, just a couple of things, all right.
Speaker 16 (40:10):
So let's say let's go to you know, one of
my favorite one right back.
Speaker 10 (40:29):
We just want to get a little background as to
who are Fantastic Noises and the noisemakers if you can
let us know, yes, absolutely so.
Speaker 15 (40:38):
Once again, I am fantastic noise. I am the original noisemaker,
so no one's would make as much noise as me. Okay,
And right here we have the Noisemaker band.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
This is only half of it.
Speaker 15 (40:47):
The other stuffs are upstairs, the my My Kevin, Kevin, Lamar,
Lannie and Doves who are on the actual band members.
These are the background singers and we can make some noise.
We can to bring that noise today. So that's that's
what we do. That's right.
Speaker 5 (41:00):
How did you guys get together?
Speaker 14 (41:02):
Man?
Speaker 15 (41:02):
So it started with I've been doing this on my
own for almost three years now. And man, I guys,
each of these shop were here have different background stories.
Most of us went to the same church together, and
we just kept going. This one her, this is my
one of my assistants, said one of like the my
my biggest support of my biggest shity. Hear, she's assistant.
(41:23):
So we just been building and the same thing with
upstairs with the band, just meeting through people kept networking,
kept seeing it was just like God or dang bam
here we are awesome.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
Well could you guys do we talked weekly?
Speaker 11 (41:33):
A favor?
Speaker 15 (41:34):
Can you give us a drop in a melody type way?
A type way? Okay?
Speaker 2 (41:39):
So we talked weekly.
Speaker 15 (41:41):
Okay, So we're gonna do something like this.
Speaker 5 (41:45):
Big talk week.
Speaker 15 (41:46):
We come in here with us WI talk. We we
come in here, them we talk.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
We we come in.
Speaker 3 (41:51):

Speaker 15 (41:53):
We come in here them we talk. We come in

Speaker 11 (41:58):

Speaker 1 (42:14):
Beautify already, yo, man, we have a dynamic show today. Man,
you know, it was just.
Speaker 10 (42:24):
Why is that so loud that you hate that commercial?
I don't hate the loud for it. I just thought
I love and fantastic. Yeah, I'm like, I know I'm loud,
but that's just showing it, like for real.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
That's that's what Laurence said.
Speaker 5 (42:39):
Lauren said, No, that was that was lady.
Speaker 10 (42:43):
She was like, I'm just it was me.
Speaker 5 (42:49):
I was loud.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
That's all right, lady.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
Yes, we got we got.
Speaker 11 (42:58):
Y'are not just like keep y'all up there and what's
happening in the city. I gave you all a ton
of what's going on here in May. I don't want
to be redundant recap that y'all can check out the
other show. But Spark jumped on me and was like,
what about the concert was kind of what's happening? So
I needed to give y'all some music energy today. So
concerts that will be here over the next couple of weeks.
(43:21):
You asked about Mary, but you miss married. I told
you married was last month.
Speaker 10 (43:24):
Oh yeah, she looked tired. I seen it.
Speaker 11 (43:26):
She was done. Oh yeah, she was like y'all, y'all,
you know when they get to that, they just they
just point the mic to the audience, like help us
the stout. But on the twenty third and twenty fifth Metallicy,
We're going to be here at the mak A Financial Center,
Post Malone and Jelly row A Citizens Bank Park. They's
(43:47):
a lot of outside console using our stadiums here, which
is usually fun, but navigating it is usually kind of
messy if you're in attendance, and then you you know,
subjected to rain. But that's Saturday, May twenty fourth. And
then we have Luke Bryan.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
A lot of people have.
Speaker 11 (44:07):

Speaker 1 (44:27):

Speaker 11 (44:29):

Speaker 5 (44:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 17 (44:38):
She's going more acting though, but she's at the Man Music.
Speaker 11 (44:40):

Speaker 11 (44:48):

We're supposed to be there. We ain't get our press
stuff yet, but they better hurry up and give it to.
Speaker 11 (45:14):
That's the weekend. That three day weekend is always been. Yeo, Glorrella, Miguel.
Speaker 10 (45:21):
I like Colorrella.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
I like my girl where Miguel.
Speaker 10 (45:24):
Yeah, he's like the minorn prince to me.
Speaker 11 (45:26):
When I say some of his names, I was like,
we're like, y'all. You know, last year was the big
fifty year anniversary of hip, so they had to do that.
Now they circle back to some other ones here. It's
like a mix towns Lotto.
Speaker 5 (45:40):

Speaker 10 (46:03):

She's she's she's into the Lord.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Leave her alone, to leave alone.
Speaker 11 (47:40):

But I heard it got to be somewhere.
Speaker 10 (47:44):
Okay, Yes, they made up spend gonna be with them.
Speaker 11 (47:50):

symbolic and just recognizes their influence and contributions.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Well stop though they can just say, like now, yesterday's price,
ain't today's price?
Speaker 10 (50:15):

But you a good giving up the information.
Speaker 11 (53:03):
You got so much. I was like, you get back
over to this music thing. So and since we been
tapping on the Hall of Fame, I didn't want you
all to know the twenty twenty five inductees were a
bad company. Chubby Checker joke.
Speaker 10 (53:18):
Chubby Checker shout out to Chubby Checker from Philly. Yeah,
I actually I don't know if yeah, but I'm asking

Speaker 10 (53:35):
I'm just off Philly, that's why. Yeah, Yeah, I think
he is from Philly. Guess somebody do a yeah, yeah,
I think he went to school with what like my
Honor or something. You know, Philly's small but big, like,
so yeah, I think he is. That's like asking. Frankie
(53:58):
Beverly amazed, like yeah.
Speaker 11 (54:01):
But this was the performing category anyway. Joe, Joe Cocker,
Cindy Lauper I was a Cindy Loafer fan when I
was a kid outcast Sound Garden and the White Strips,
and then the Musical Influence Awards went to Warren Zevron
and Salt and Pepper.
Speaker 10 (54:18):
Oh okay, Cindy Lauper is like the first. She was
like the first what's the name bandonna?
Speaker 1 (54:27):
To me?
Speaker 11 (54:27):
You know?
Speaker 10 (54:28):
It was like Nicki Minaj and little Bit.
Speaker 11 (54:29):
She wasn't as risk, but I don't know what it
was it when that whole eighties punk era thing was,
because I remember I used to always wanted right Halloween
parties and stuff.
Speaker 17 (54:39):
I always wanted to dress up like her.
Speaker 11 (54:40):
I did.
Speaker 10 (54:41):
I was like, I was like wrapping every color around me.
And I did find out he grew he was born
in South Carolina, but he grew up in Philadelphia. So yeah,
let's do the twist.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
Twist the truck of was born in uh spring Gully
also spelled spring Gully, South Carolina, although he was born
in South Carolina and he was raised in Southfield.
Speaker 5 (55:08):
Yeah yeah, South he went to south fully hot say
say time?
Speaker 11 (55:14):
Was he from.
Speaker 5 (55:17):
Shut chump chucking softfully out?
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Yeah, shout out? Okay, Yeah that was the award?
Speaker 15 (55:26):
Was that?
Speaker 11 (55:27):
Yeah? He was under the performer category for inductee.
Speaker 10 (55:31):
He's still living?
Speaker 2 (55:33):
Did it? Didn't say?
Speaker 5 (55:35):
From from he looked like he's still love I could
find that all long. And his second here, I mean.
Speaker 10 (55:41):
He would be like in his late eighties. That's that's wonderful.
Speaker 11 (55:45):
It's just like, well, why so long?
Speaker 1 (55:47):
Wait?
Speaker 10 (55:47):
Why they wait so long? Like he's being inducted, you said,
all in time.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
So Chuffy Checker is still alive as twenty twenty five,
at eighty three years old.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
Give him his flowers.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
Yeah, I'm glad, he says a lot. Recent coverage confirms
he is alive and well, still making music and still performing.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
I know.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
It. Was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 10 (56:16):
He said, I ain't letting uncle roan the seat.
Speaker 11 (56:24):
Did y'all see that?
Speaker 17 (56:25):
Like what he was doing by Yeah?
Speaker 11 (56:29):
Yeah, I got to uncles in Uncle Rian Uncle saying, well,
hold up, he was what I call.
Speaker 5 (56:36):
Yeah, he's still performing.
Speaker 10 (56:39):
He's sitting down. He's sitting down and what's what's the
other one I've seen him? But he's good. He oh gosh,
it'll come back to me.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
And they sit down and perform.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
Yeah, they do a little bit.
Speaker 10 (56:51):
Then they get the chair.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
Yeah that's.
Speaker 10 (56:54):
Big uncle Charlie, that's.
Speaker 5 (57:01):
Shout.
Speaker 11 (57:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (57:04):
But his last show at the Dell, he was like
he said, all right, I'm gonna sit down and talk
to y'all.
Speaker 5 (57:10):
That was good, good, Yeah, he sit down and talk
to y'all.
Speaker 11 (57:16):
He was out of breath.
Speaker 8 (57:17):
Like.
Speaker 10 (57:18):
But we're talking about them in the eighties, y'all seen
new addition.
Speaker 5 (57:22):
They be tired.
Speaker 10 (57:23):
Bobby Brown, Bobby Brown, some beard like he didn't need
a pump because he'd be out of breath.
Speaker 11 (57:32):
Like.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
You know what was great?
Speaker 1 (57:34):
I told you that's the greatest group of all time.
Speaker 14 (57:37):
The beat.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
I have the beat all the time with that, but
they're the greatest group of all time seeing.
Speaker 10 (57:41):
His uh, probably in his little his bedroom when he
was younger, trying to do that.
Speaker 5 (57:49):
But that's what they are.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
The only group outside of maybe the Jackson five, where
every member came out with their own thing.
Speaker 11 (58:00):
It's still have you said this on the last time?
Speaker 10 (58:03):
And I said, and I was said that the Brothers
was one too, like like yeah, but you I see
what your point. You give us a song from they
from back when they was younger.
Speaker 14 (58:16):
You shut candy, you know what I'm saying, I mean,
now he was in the school. They had one called school.
Speaker 11 (58:25):
They had what I remember that.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
I'm trying to tell you that was my.
Speaker 1 (58:31):
I think I was Bobby Brown.
Speaker 5 (58:34):
No, not Bobby Brown.
Speaker 10 (58:38):
I see Bobby Brown because around he was.
Speaker 3 (58:42):
I wanted to be Rouph.
Speaker 10 (58:43):
I see him fire round.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
I'm like I did like ro was a pretty Robby
Brown was about Rookie. I like the way he danced,
and trust.
Speaker 11 (58:53):
I was a fan.
Speaker 5 (58:55):
I was.
Speaker 10 (58:55):
Michael was Michael, he was, he was in he was
in Philly a lot you.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
Vote.
Speaker 10 (59:04):
Yeah, everybody liked Ricky, but Ricky is the only one
who's really the one in shape too, Like right now,
Michael Bivens though, you know, Michael discovered boys the men too.
Speaker 2 (59:20):
Michael.
Speaker 10 (59:21):
Yeah, was that what you got to say? All right, Ralph,
go ahead.
Speaker 11 (59:29):
You I give a lot of respect to Michael Bivins though,
because after they had their incident when they were young
and they realized they had money and banker like that,
he was the one that took everything and really learned
the business. And because of that, I feel like he's
the reason that new Audition is so relevant today from
that he was able to do Bell the vote, Boys
the men, ABCD, the whole thing.
Speaker 10 (59:50):
You know. Michael Bivins, he was the one who where
everybody had basically spent all their money.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
Yeah, he still had his money still, right he Oh yeah,
he learned the.
Speaker 11 (01:00:02):
Business and then he was like all that everybody was
taking from them when you keep everything at home and
you're doing That's why I told people, and no matter
what you learn the business, how you've been relevant in
the business.
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
So I want to know who's the greatest group of
all time?
Speaker 10 (01:00:15):
I just got female or just.
Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
When we're talking about good audition, because they got to
be it's all time. It got to be now audition
when you can't talk longevity, absolutely absolutely, and each of them.
Speaker 14 (01:00:29):
Had their like multiple albums and ain't just like they
came up.
Speaker 11 (01:00:32):
They were going since they was like thirteen and they
like and then they were big.
Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Outside of me.
Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Ralph I think was the was the one that didn't
do as well as everybody else, but he still had bankers.
Speaker 11 (01:00:45):
You need him, man, Yeah, but that was.
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
But he did.
Speaker 10 (01:00:49):
Yeah he had one, he had he did have one more.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
But what you think Bobby Brown, b b D?
Speaker 5 (01:00:56):
Why you killing bb D?
Speaker 14 (01:00:59):
Gil He sounded like you're growing when he came in.
He's like, yo, who is that man?
Speaker 11 (01:01:11):
Like that man?
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
But that was yeah, he he he gave new life.
He bring new life in a new aditione when he came.
Speaker 11 (01:01:22):
And I do believe at some point in the future
they will also be inducted into the Rock and roll.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
They should have moved.
Speaker 11 (01:01:30):
I don't know. I mean, well, you can't. I can't
really say that, you know why, because people like Dolly
Parton just got it last year.
Speaker 17 (01:01:36):
That's right, I'm saying Dolly just got in last year.
Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
That's why.
Speaker 11 (01:01:39):
It's like when you really think about I don't know what. Yeah,
I think Dion work just got it last year, you
know what I'm saying. So what Yeah, they her and
Dolly Parton were both last year. So when you think
of their longevity in the in the business and Dolly
part and everything, I mean, yeah, Dolly Parton in twenty
(01:02:00):
twenty four, you know what I mean, it's been a minute.
But music excellence. Those last few awards induct Rock and
Roll Hall of Pay inductions for twenty twenty five, where
Tom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kay. I don't know
if you guys know them. So that isn't.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
Who are they in general?
Speaker 11 (01:02:22):
Interesting what you're looking at seeing.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
So here's the criteria real quick. So I'm gonna read
a little bit of the criteria to be inducted. To
be inducted in the Rock and Eligibility requirements, and artists
or band becomes eligible for nomination twenty five years after
the release of their first commercial selection criteria. The primary
criteria and the influence and significance of the artist contributes
(01:02:48):
to the development, evolutionary perpetuation of rock and roll. Considerations
include impact on music, culture, influence and other musicians definitely
go long Jeffty that of their career, embody of work,
stylistic innovation, and music excellence.
Speaker 11 (01:03:07):
I'm still voting.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
And then it says, so here's a quick summary at
the table. It says requirement details years twenty five years,
main cropterier, influenced, significant innovation, impact, music excellence, categories performer,
early influence, non performer a met urgan with music influence,
music excellence, and then voting process nominations Committee, Nominating Committee,
(01:03:31):
International Voting Panel, and fan vote included. So the fan
vote probably like insignificant.
Speaker 11 (01:03:38):
Well, I'm gonna tell you that though, because I did
see the poll and I did vote this year, and
so when it came out because Marian Cary was also
on that list, and so when I got to see.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
The list, I'm like, oh, is this interesting, Brian carry.
Speaker 11 (01:03:51):
Yeah, but I was very surprised to see when it
because I was like, oh, okay, So I was like
surprised to see you know some of like our favorites, right,
and then when I saw who actually the one, I
was like, cool, Kerry.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Did not didn't hold on? So got up start right?
Speaker 11 (01:04:08):
Didn't you get a star on Hollywood Walk?
Speaker 10 (01:04:10):
Yeah, but that's not Yeah, I mean you're going to
l A and they do him in Philly too.
Speaker 17 (01:04:16):
Because but then you gotta think about it.
Speaker 11 (01:04:17):
The rock and roll, Yeah, the rock and Roll Hall
of Fame is something that's been around, Like it was
like that's this has been around for a long time.
Speaker 17 (01:04:25):
But at one time they were only putting rock and
roll in there.
Speaker 10 (01:04:27):
That's what I was about to say.
Speaker 11 (01:04:28):
The fact that now there it's been opened up to
other genres and they are considering people.
Speaker 10 (01:04:32):
Like but why are they higher than the Grammy Hall
of Fame or the National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame,
Like people look at the rock and roll as if
you made it versus the other ones.
Speaker 14 (01:04:42):
And because they kind of followed the rock and roll
rock and roll was like kind of.
Speaker 10 (01:04:49):
You know what I think should being in Luther like
I feel like Luca just the way I did I.
Speaker 5 (01:04:58):
Did, I'm gonna do that. Yeah, definitely been around twenty
five years.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Definitely has him. Not only he got influencing across the board. Yeah,
performances performances was excellent.
Speaker 11 (01:05:13):
I don't remember a lot of his performances.
Speaker 7 (01:05:15):
What what.
Speaker 11 (01:05:18):
His music videos. I remember see him on stage performer I.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Talked about They talked about his performance because of his
keen detail to his uniformity.
Speaker 11 (01:05:28):
I'm trying to jackets and his backup dancing videos.
Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
Though I think I remember, I mean pot blocking and
nothing like that he was.
Speaker 17 (01:05:39):
I remember more of him in music videos than that
do live stage.
Speaker 11 (01:05:42):
Performance he did.
Speaker 10 (01:05:45):
I remember my parents was.
Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
They he would do kind of like those small intimate
but he would do like a like a session like
he you know, how do you know how to go
to Vegas?
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
You would do?
Speaker 10 (01:06:00):
To check his documentary he sold out, No it was
I'm saying, yeah, he did that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
But he did a lot of like because they were
running back all the time, and he would come back
all the time.
Speaker 11 (01:06:12):
My mom was in love with you.
Speaker 10 (01:06:16):
Yeah, and he was relevant. He stayed the course too.
So but okay, I guess that upon on on.
Speaker 11 (01:06:25):
Classles good news and bad news, that was all right,
good news and music a little bit did have a
little bit of bad news and music.
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
So not God.
Speaker 11 (01:06:36):
For those who are watching or keeping track, your showing
that these cones trial has started, and for multiple following
that some stuff is good, some stuff is bad. It's
just a mix. As you view, you can create your
own thoughts and testimonies. And then Chris Brown was arrested
(01:06:57):
two days ago.
Speaker 10 (01:06:57):
Yeah, he about to come to silly.
Speaker 11 (01:06:59):
Chris Down is on a major tour right now and
sold out tours and to dates to Chris Brown. He
is in London right now and upon arriving in Manchester
he was picked up. I guess they got win that
he was on his way there. And this incident happened
(01:07:20):
in twenty twenty three at a nightclub. He allegedly assaulted
music producer. Music producer claims that he hit him over
the head on a two year town threw him to
the ground and kicked and stormed him, him and his
entourage while he was on the ground twenty twenty three.
But the thing is, I don't know how the law
(01:07:41):
works cross country, and I don't know if that was
the last time he was over there, and but now
he's back over there with like almost like multiple sold
out show dates over there, and they upon his private
jet it was almost like oh they Yeah. I think
they probably knew that he was coming back.
Speaker 10 (01:08:01):
So my question, even like whatever, even if you ain't
doing nothing, could you get like somebody to run a
report to make sure I ain't no warrants or nothing
in that country or.
Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Yeah, that was like a gonna do nothing. They probably
he probably felt it wasn't that significant for something.
Speaker 10 (01:08:19):
Like that two years later, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Yeah, limitation right, Plus it's I guess it's criminal, right,
But this.
Speaker 10 (01:08:29):
Is but isn't one word against the other, Like why
y'all ain't catch me when when it happened?
Speaker 11 (01:08:35):
Is I'm not I was trying to find out exactly
when the tour dates our schedule over there. Because they
are holding him in custody and they deny.
Speaker 10 (01:08:43):
His bill, he can't catch up.
Speaker 5 (01:08:47):
I like Chris. I like him that's crazy. Hm hmm,
that's wild.
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Yeah, pre Chris and someone what the reason is why
he got denied?
Speaker 10 (01:09:00):
Bill, I mean, he's a flight risk. Probably they probably
feel like because of his money and his private jet.
Speaker 11 (01:09:06):
And you know what, different from there. I don't know,
that's the only thing. Those other countries are a little
different when it comes to.
Speaker 10 (01:09:18):
Well, I already see next probably gonna miss some of
his tour dates. It's probably gonna miss some being hell,
he might be helped. I've seen that he might be
held till like the beginning of June. I know, my
daughter was like, oh my gosh, I've been waiting for
this because the last time she's seen him was years ago.
And now she's like, he's locked up, so I might
have to generation should.
Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Be out by August. Second, that's when he's coming to Philly. Okay, that's.
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
June.
Speaker 10 (01:09:44):
As long as he make it to Philly, it should
be cool.
Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
It's not.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Well, they said you can face up to sixteen years.
Speaker 5 (01:09:53):
For the assault.
Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
Yeah, that's a lot.
Speaker 11 (01:09:56):
So the man in second, he's supposed to be in Tampa.
So I'm trying to see if the So here's.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Some of the details, right. It says hold on, are
you still recurt?
Speaker 8 (01:10:05):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
Go ahead, all right. Here's some of the details of
the case. A rest charge. Brown was arrested at the
Lowry Hotel in Manchester on Thursday May fifteen, twenty twenty five,
in charge with grievous bodily harm with intent. The charge
stems from an alleged tack to at the Tate Club
in London's Mayfair District in February twenty twenty three, during
which Brown is accused of assaulting music producer A Daiwa
(01:10:29):
Da daw how you said, da I don't know with
a bottle, causing serious injuries. Court appearance. On Friday May sixteen,
twenty twenty five, Brown appeared in Manchester Magistrate's Court. He
confirmed his identity but did not enter a plate. Maybe
that's what it is. The judge, citing the seriousness of
(01:10:49):
the charge and concerns about Brown being a flight risk,
denied Bell and ordered him to remain in custody.
Speaker 11 (01:10:57):
That's why, yes, she said, flight risk.
Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
Yeah, flight risks where I'm at where I'm.
Speaker 11 (01:11:02):
Because they know he's not from there, so they got
a fivate. Yet he's not from that country and ye
come back, so they know he's not home. It's different
when you home and they think you're going to run
to somewhere else, but they know that he don't live there.
Speaker 1 (01:11:17):
Yeah, it says, It goes on to say, let me
see next step. The case has been transferred to the
South Fork Crown Court in London, with the next herring
schedule for June thirteenth, twenty twenty five. Potential penity. If
convicted of grievous body harm with intent, Brown could face
(01:11:38):
up to sixteen years in prison under UK law.
Speaker 11 (01:11:42):
And that's where I was going because the UK law, Yes,
I said, when I was talking about the laws versus
the different countries. It's not like here. And I always
tell people don't go on other countries at crazy like
the right, Yeah you can't, you just rush you. I
thought she was is that where she wasn't? Was she
in Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
She was in Russia?
Speaker 11 (01:12:01):
Yeah she was Russia.
Speaker 16 (01:12:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:12:03):
But these other countries you just have to be really
careful because their law is not the United States law.
So if you think you know you're right, you don't
unless you really pay attention to and as you're moving
around it changes. But it's not like here, and everything
you think you have and that's going to protect you
(01:12:24):
is out the door when you're in another kind.
Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
I don't understand why people act out one in these
other countries. Like nah, if I go to another country, Nope,
I ain't doing nothing.
Speaker 17 (01:12:34):
I don't trust them because that offense here in the
United States.
Speaker 11 (01:12:37):
So you hit somebody with about y'all got into a
fight in the club, that is going to be that's
that could be almost like what they call it treeson
or you know, like almost like death sentence.
Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
In another country.
Speaker 11 (01:12:52):
But there it could be something, especially.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
In a place safe example in like Taiwan where it
ain't no profit like you. So you come over here
and start and that nonsense, they're gonna make you a.
Speaker 10 (01:13:05):
That's like Dubai. A woman go over there and she
raised her voice of the man.
Speaker 11 (01:13:09):
Yeah, you can't. Yes, a lot of things you just
cannot do public in all other eras. So you know,
hopefully we'll see how it panel kind of track it.
He is supposed to be in Philly on August sixteenth.
August the August sixteenth, he's supposed to be in Philly
and also but he's also supposed to be in DC
on August tenth and in Hershey, Pa on all the fifth,
(01:13:30):
So all that is right here in the area. All
of them are driving distance if you can't get tickets
to the Philly show.
Speaker 17 (01:13:35):
But yeah, I guess let's see what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:13:38):
With Oh my gosh.
Speaker 10 (01:13:40):
Yeah, now you you mentioned the Diddy try, but you
skated over it. What's your thoughts on real.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Quick, because we got to do our id I missed
this IDU this year. Boy Charles Gregor with.
Speaker 10 (01:13:52):
The Beautiful Classic Lady Sparkle.
Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
And the Beautiful and Beautiful and you listen to we talked.
He's acted talking w p P Philadelphia, one of six
point five, and we talked after the talk and we
are now in one.
Speaker 5 (01:14:04):
Of the stories that see class class.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
You're already finished Lady in the building.
Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
So classes.
Speaker 11 (01:14:14):
The Sparkle was just asking more about the the Diddy
trial because you said I skated.
Speaker 14 (01:14:18):
Over you did.
Speaker 10 (01:14:21):
He was like, yeah, everyone that. But then Chris Brown like.
Speaker 17 (01:14:25):
What because he already you know, because I'm sitting here
like one has been in jail.
Speaker 11 (01:14:29):
We all know he's been in jail. Another one just
got I'm using using the word captive, but that's how
I feel because he's locked up in other country, so
we don't know what's about to happen to our breezy,
but uh did he don't catch it?
Speaker 10 (01:14:43):
If you can't catch your timeue what's going on?
Speaker 11 (01:14:46):
They just had no trials trial.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Third on.
Speaker 11 (01:14:54):
Just listening through this testimony, trying to see what happens,
all different kind of reports coming. Of course they they're
not having like cameras there, but it's just been a
bunch of reports coming from the the court rooms in
terms of what's happening. And the only thing about that
is is like like mixed information. But they did report
that he had like he got like really upset and
(01:15:16):
kind of like almost like went off a little bit
in regards to some of the testimony that was being said. Yeah,
so you know, I it's so much happening there to
where he's already in a position where anything he does there,
you know, he's under this microscope now, right, So the
(01:15:38):
he already had other issues coming from phone calls and
other stuff that he was doing.
Speaker 17 (01:15:43):
I don't you know, they know who he is, but.
Speaker 11 (01:15:45):
I don't know how much they're how hard or lenient
they're being with him when it comes through good and
bad behavior doing these situations. But he's had just multiple
things of coming out of there, things that he's doing
and he's not supposed to be doing.
Speaker 3 (01:15:59):
So what he's locked up?
Speaker 10 (01:16:00):
Yeah, I didn't hear about that.
Speaker 11 (01:16:03):
What happened even with the phone one calls and stuff
like that.
Speaker 5 (01:16:06):
So he's like he got like a burner.
Speaker 17 (01:16:08):
No, but you're like calling home and you know the.
Speaker 11 (01:16:12):
Recording the conversation.
Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
Burn I'm sure he does.
Speaker 11 (01:16:17):
They're not gonna say he does, but I.
Speaker 10 (01:16:20):
Hear that he doesn't have any black hair dye. That's
what I did here, like his gray.
Speaker 11 (01:16:24):
Is like yeah, I saw pictures of that, and it
was so funny because I first saw those pictures, I
was like, oh they did that. I thought somebody like photoshopped.
But then I was like, oh, he really just doesn't.
Apparently he's been dying and we didn't known. Now all
the photos of I was like, so, I'm like, man,
(01:16:45):
he stressed out, he wanted that great. Do you I
thought it was photoshop?
Speaker 10 (01:16:48):
Do you know enough information? If I asked questions that
you'll be able to answer. One question, is he gave
Cassie about maybe twenty to thirty million we know that
was Is it something that was similar to the Bill Cosby,
where it's double jeopardy if she takes the stand or
was it for her not to produce a book? Like,
why is it that she's able to take the stand
(01:17:09):
even after the payout?
Speaker 11 (01:17:11):
No, I see what you're saying, because that was well,
I think that the quick, easy answer to that is
the civil versus criminal.
Speaker 10 (01:17:21):
Oh okay, so now that's what I'm saying. When they
paid her, I thought that it was an iron clad
that's something that well, no, I thought it was iron
clad that it wouldn't be able to be criminal as well.
Speaker 5 (01:17:33):
You know, that's what you're saying.
Speaker 10 (01:17:36):
Because she was she was she was basically telling him
that she was going to, you know, put up a
lawsuit videotape.
Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
That's why it's less about Cassie, more about the traffic.
Speaker 10 (01:17:47):
But they're using her as so it's not necessarily about
the domestic right.
Speaker 11 (01:17:54):
It's about the other stuff. And she's a witness here.
She's still a witness to a lot of that stuff
because she was like how long was it like ten years?
Speaker 10 (01:18:01):
Yeah? Okay that that hand the hell?
Speaker 11 (01:18:04):
So I think her testimony is still going to stand
in court. You know, it's not necessarily her right.
Speaker 10 (01:18:09):
The jury can still hear it, you know what I mean,
even if they say strike that from the evidence.
Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
There's a problem with that though, having Cassie testify, because
that implicates her. Also, when you talk about trafficking, if
you're in the commence, if you're if you're with the
agency that's doing certain things. So if you're with Diddy
and you're you was his artist, you're with this organization,
(01:18:35):
it's like an organizational thing. Yes, exactly, that's exactly what
it becomes. Cody. Yeah, so now it's like, okay.
Speaker 11 (01:18:45):
Yeah, but the but the thing is she's saying all
of her stuff, all of her stuff has been about
I guess, I don't I guess being forced or.
Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
No, that's happening now her testimony.
Speaker 10 (01:19:10):
Well, I've been keeping out with some of the reporters,
and I don't get that she was forced a lot
of her Now, not every single time, not every single
time she was forced. Cassie has gave up enough enough
testimony that will prove that a lot of this stuff
she did willingly.
Speaker 11 (01:19:30):
Yeah, like she liked it.
Speaker 10 (01:19:31):
She wanted it for whatever reason, whether you was doing
it because you wanted to keep up whatever it was
about money, if it was about this being young and naive,
she did it though.
Speaker 11 (01:19:42):
They do it because they want to. They do it
because they want And I said the same thing when
it came to the r Kelly things. You did it
because of whatever you thought you were going to get
out of it. Like she's like, I forget her partner
whoever this other woman was, was saying, you know, the
only time he was talking to her about her album
when they were in these positions in these rooms. It's like, oh,
you know, now he's feeling her head about all these
(01:20:03):
things he's going to do for her, and so you like, okay,
and like if you you know, let me just so.
Speaker 17 (01:20:09):
So Yeah, you were willing and you you did that
like all them girls.
Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
Yeah, that's extreme, it is, but that's very very extreme.
Speaker 11 (01:20:17):
People stay around for what they think they're going to get,
which is crazy.
Speaker 10 (01:20:21):
I can't speak for Cassie, but I've been in some
places when I was young, and I really felt like
this could be my opportunity to go to the next
level if I sell my soul.
Speaker 1 (01:20:30):
Right, But I just want to push back a little
bit because I hear I hear that, right, But I
hear a lot of women singing. You know that because
he's in power, right, they feel intimidated, So it forces
them to accept certain or or do certain behaviors because
(01:20:50):
how big and how powerful he is.
Speaker 10 (01:20:52):
Well, let's let's shrink it down to a dot. How
many times have you seen young girls with the drug
dealers who be like, Oh, I'm to get me a
pair of airings, a pair of sneak like whatever. It's
like the same thing. It's the gold digger mentality. I'm
gonna give you this, you give me that. We have
a mutual agreement. It's a barter, and now everybody leaves
away happy. So I think that's where the consensual is.
(01:21:14):
But on a psychological basis, you got what they call
Stockholm syndrome, you got the women's battered syndrome. You got
these things where women who our prostitutes are looking for
love and looking for this, and then you got the
pimp who tells them sweet nothings and it's still a
reciprocal thing. But the mentality of the woman, there's something,
there's a deficiency there, and I think that's what they're
(01:21:37):
trying to get into.
Speaker 11 (01:21:39):
Because when you talk about the the position of power
thing and the intimidation thing with somebody like this who
can say do this or I will it's almost like three.
Speaker 10 (01:21:52):
But that's what I'm saying. Drug dealers is the same thing.
Like it's just like it ain't it ain't filmed, but
somebody who got power. It's just a person who who's
your audience. You know what I'm saying, like do.
Speaker 11 (01:22:03):
This or I'm not going to give you this, or
I'm not do this, or I'm gonna tell everybody you
you know what I'm saying. And then when you video
and you videotape all these things, the mod stuff over
people's kids, it's a black man.
Speaker 5 (01:22:14):
Mmm, I don't know, there's so many. I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:22:18):
I get the I get the position of power, and
I get that, you know, just being this a normal person,
you know what I mean, and being in that situation
where you feel intimidated by the opposite sex. And you've
been these situations where you are like, oh, I don't
want to say no, this is not gonna be what
I want to do. But then you find yourself compromising.
But at what level do you be like no, that's
(01:22:41):
I'm at what level do you be like no, that's
not like.
Speaker 11 (01:22:44):
And honestly much, I don't out of everything we sit
here and saying, I don't believe that it's just one.
Speaker 17 (01:22:49):
I believe it's a combination.
Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Of all of the time.
Speaker 11 (01:22:52):
It's a little bit of everything.
Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
He's so freaking beautiful. I'll just be looking at her
like you are so chaz.
Speaker 10 (01:23:00):
See it's the one we see. But you got kem Porter,
you got Mesa Hitt, and you got like all allegedly.
But all these women are probably going to say that
they have very similar stories.
Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:23:13):
J Lo could probably be like, that's why she got
out of dodge, you know what I'm saying. So it
could be a lot of women.
Speaker 11 (01:23:18):
I believe and who they don't do that I dare
not talk too. Mm hmm yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:23:27):
I just you know, I think he's gonna get off.
Speaker 10 (01:23:29):
I think this though, and this is I don't want
people to come from me.
Speaker 3 (01:23:32):
I don't.
Speaker 10 (01:23:33):
I don't because but I'm gonna say it's it's my opinion.
It does not reflect we talk these thoughts.
Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Disclaimer.
Speaker 10 (01:23:43):
I believe that, uh, I don't believe that Diddy is
should go to jail for what they're trying him for. However,
I believe in Karmick, and I believe that he's done
things where he had to sit down and God said,
you've done these things. I'm gonna show you you not God.
Whatever you're you know how holding them be like they
(01:24:05):
got you want to see who I am. You're gonna
pray to me to be like whatever. But I personally
think that what he's dealing with, it's like, you know
a person who go to jail for something they didn't do,
but you did a lot of stuff that you could
have been sitting here for.
Speaker 11 (01:24:18):
That's all.
Speaker 5 (01:24:18):
Look at his situation and.
Speaker 3 (01:24:19):
It's happening to him right now. He's happening to him
right now.
Speaker 10 (01:24:22):
And I wouldn't want to, you know, when it was
early on, you didn't want to say too much because
I've been thinking the same thing the whole time, Like
all these things that they are saying that he is
guilty of is not a criminal act.
Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
It might be.
Speaker 10 (01:24:39):
What's the what's the what's the playboy guy? The I'm
quite sure who had the free calls? That was crazy?
Speaker 14 (01:24:47):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 10 (01:24:47):
Like and maybe similar, But where's the kid that that
they said he uh.
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
Oh or whatever?
Speaker 11 (01:24:55):
Who had Puffy?
Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
I know they said that, uh, I know.
Speaker 10 (01:25:00):
When they came at the whole, he said, I'm different.
Speaker 11 (01:25:02):
Well, was it a different kid or was that the
same kid? Because I thought it was the one kid
that had I.
Speaker 10 (01:25:11):
Don't know, I think that was the one.
Speaker 3 (01:25:14):
Was that the same one with hold?
Speaker 11 (01:25:16):
She said it was both of them?
Speaker 10 (01:25:18):
Yeah, And then it was they found that it was alive.
From the lawyer who was trying to course the defense.
Speaker 11 (01:25:26):
Even the even the girl's father put out a statement saying,
I don't ever remember m driving three hours to pick
my daughter up, like he said, Like, had I did that,
I think I would have remembered dripping three hours to
pick her up from somewhere and something like that happened,
and he said he ain't never remember that.
Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
The girl from Danity Kinge just came out and.
Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
I don't know what y'all have to leave.
Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
Me out of it.
Speaker 10 (01:25:48):
She did, and they hair up to They was like, oh,
you've been talking all this time, but now you one.
But she like, yo, I've been talking. Y'all ain't been listening.
Now y'all want now what counsel, why don't you talk?
But do it?
Speaker 11 (01:26:00):
It's just like you got the jury. You could do
I don't know. I feel like she talked whenever she
get a chance because she just was on the MASD
singer and when they were realed it was her. She
stood there and it's like why did n can is
like why did you the show? And she starts talking
about that. So you talk about that whenever you can
get an opportunity to talk about it.
Speaker 10 (01:26:21):
And I didn't know they got hurt. They wanted her
to take the stand, though they didn't.
Speaker 11 (01:26:27):
Hurts her to take the stand. That's what she probably
don't want to take the stand.
Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
If you gets the opinion you gotta take this.
Speaker 11 (01:26:32):
But when but when you get the little lawsuit she
had where she only got three hundred dollars, you thought
she would have one this.
Speaker 5 (01:26:40):
Wait, what happened?
Speaker 10 (01:26:42):
She had a lawsuit against Diddy for the publishing when
so oh yeah, and other girls didn't take it or something.
Speaker 11 (01:26:52):
Well, I kind of feel like he knew a lot
of this stuff was about to hit the fire because
he people who he wouldn't give publishing too and started
he started giving them their publishing almost like okay, like
you want to yeah, but the thing is that publishing
came with an n DA agreement, right, so you had
(01:27:14):
to sign an NDA agreement in order to get this publishing,
because it was almost like his way of shutting people
up to sign this India, get you're publishing, because I
guess he felt like, ry, I ain't know that. Yes,
so business man, your businessman move, but also figuring I
can give them this on as a return. They can
be quiet. They didn't sign this, they can't say nothing.
(01:27:34):
And she was fighting for something and she finally got
whatever she was doing and ended up being like three
hundred dollars.
Speaker 10 (01:27:41):
Oh wow, my, that's just something crazy. They said that
he should have did with uh Russell. Simmons did went
to belieze because it was some type of law that.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
He did go somewhere and came back.
Speaker 11 (01:28:05):
Who did you know? He never went nowhere And he
was telling everybody like I'm not running, and he gave
up his passwords, he gave up everything. He wasn't on
his jest. He's like matter of fact, he even went
back to New York because he was in Miami. He
went back to New York on some I'm right here,
I'm not running type stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
I think I think she made off and I think
that people under estimating like how much he may have
on other people.
Speaker 11 (01:28:32):
That's that's what I'm about, that part the tapes, between
the tapes and the NBA's but that was one of
the things that was happening while he was in jail.
So you're making phone calls home, hey, and during those
phone calls.
Speaker 10 (01:28:46):
They doing conference calls or calling another call making.
Speaker 17 (01:28:48):
He was trying to intimidate people from jail, gotcha.
Speaker 10 (01:28:52):
And I think I heard that even through the kids
or ye.
Speaker 11 (01:28:56):
Running up on people like you and they you know,
trying to get other phone called. That probably part of it.
And then trying to get to other people through the
phone call. Yeah, so he's like trying to call people
from there, trying He's still trying to get people to
not talk. So that's the thing.
Speaker 10 (01:29:15):
Yeah, if Puffy gets lost and he comes home, what
do y'all think would be like his first course of
like recovery.
Speaker 1 (01:29:24):
Well, I think what I do think. I think he
will get off but his of course, his career is done.
His career, you know what I'm saying. I think that
he'll probably write a book or something like that movie
in movie, probably do a movie, you got I think
he's still got enough resources to do it. He probably
sent some money across. I mean, now, all he gotta
do is sit.
Speaker 5 (01:29:43):
In bank, right, That's what I was gonna say.
Speaker 10 (01:29:45):
His career over on that be in.
Speaker 11 (01:29:47):
The front, but not he lost all his endorsements.
Speaker 10 (01:29:50):
But he lost all That's what they say that this
started from now with the whole Sarah and George Colooney,
that argument of him suing them because he felt like
the agency was pushing George Clooney's but not pushing his
based on race. So they're like, you know what, they're
trying to quiet them. But my question to y'all is
that do y'all think that this is getting more publicity?
(01:30:13):
Like how he did r Kelly more than Weinstein, more
than what's the other guy?
Speaker 1 (01:30:19):
Was pretty big.
Speaker 10 (01:30:21):
I don't remember being like like they.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Do everywhere they was talking about conspiracy.
Speaker 10 (01:30:27):
Do they do it? Do they do a Netflix? They
did a documentary.
Speaker 11 (01:30:33):
I did.
Speaker 5 (01:30:34):
Because because I want to look, I want to say who,
because this is the other guy.
Speaker 10 (01:30:41):
I watched the one that killed himself in the gym.
They said, that's the watch that was crazy. That Yeah,
that's what I'm saying his he did. They did a
documentary Epstein, Epstein and Wan.
Speaker 11 (01:30:56):
Yeah, Weinstein is the Hollywood director because on something Oprah
and everybody. He's the one that he's been too.
Speaker 17 (01:31:03):
Weinstein and Epstein, Yeah, Epstein and.
Speaker 10 (01:31:14):
And she now did she died. The accomplished woman that
they got going on her now she.
Speaker 11 (01:31:19):
Got They got a whole other documentary just talking about
how she was the person bringing all these.
Speaker 1 (01:31:33):
I'm talking about.
Speaker 10 (01:31:36):
He's like him and Oprah were really good friends.
Speaker 11 (01:31:38):
Him and all the holl he was the half was
all over the police, very and people, was winning up
on stage.
Speaker 10 (01:31:46):
But that's somebody differently, That's that's Weinstein.
Speaker 14 (01:31:49):
That's why I was you're talking about.
Speaker 10 (01:31:51):
Yeah, he wasn't as big as Weinstein in Hollywood.
Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
Okay, well that was all over the police.
Speaker 10 (01:31:58):
The Weinstein is huge.
Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
Went through his house and everything, right, they talked about
they did one on his wife.
Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
The wife was making the transactions like come here back.
Speaker 11 (01:32:07):
She wasn't his wife, No, she was just some chicken.
I don't know if they were. They were said, I
think the biggest thing that floored me about that story
was when he started dealing with the owner of New
York and Company. Because New York and Company, bath and
body Works and Finch like they all one umbrella.
Speaker 17 (01:32:30):
He started dealing with the owner of that to the
point where people thought.
Speaker 5 (01:32:33):
They were a couple just men.
Speaker 10 (01:32:38):
No, I know, but the owner of that is a man.
Speaker 17 (01:32:40):
Yeah, owner of that is a man.
Speaker 11 (01:32:42):
Where people thought they were like a couple. It was
alleg that they were that he did have some type
of you and with him, but he denied it because
everybody's like, why did you get it? And then he
took that man for all his money?
Speaker 10 (01:32:56):
And there was also one in royalty. There was also
one that was a part of it that was with
princess dying them with the royal family.
Speaker 11 (01:33:06):
Well, so Epstein, yes, so Epstein had ties of all
these people. He because he had pictures with the president.
Speaker 10 (01:33:12):
I think it was.
Speaker 11 (01:33:14):
Island yea, the sons from the royal Flamily was out
on that island. Everybody was out on that island.
Speaker 10 (01:33:19):
He had he had also So although he been a
thing has been, although he's unallived himself, is it real like, although.
Speaker 11 (01:33:30):
He's unalived his self for all the they're saying that
they said that he didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:33:36):
Yeah, they said that he left his jail for the day.
Speaker 17 (01:33:40):
You know what happened the night It happened. Cameras weren't working.
Speaker 10 (01:33:44):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 11 (01:33:45):
You're alleged that, I think because he had so much
on people, like if you watch us, so he has
so much on which I feel the same way. So
he he has so much on people. That's why people
are not talking. Nobody wants to deal with his wrath.
You think he still ain't got so.
Speaker 17 (01:33:59):
You think we'll get back.
Speaker 10 (01:34:00):
You think going back to Epstein. You think he living
on an island, like cast away somewhere.
Speaker 11 (01:34:05):
I think he was murdered.
Speaker 10 (01:34:06):
Oh you do think he's that. I don't know.
Speaker 11 (01:34:08):
I was like you. They said he all they showed
a body and him out, so they were saying that,
but they were saying he committed suicide. I don't think
he committed I think he killed them because he he
knew too much.
Speaker 10 (01:34:21):
That's why I said he alived hisself. But I didn't
see the body. But you said that you did.
Speaker 3 (01:34:25):
Okay, he is that.
Speaker 10 (01:34:27):
It was a Macavelly type.
Speaker 11 (01:34:28):
And they took him out, took him out, But I
don't think. I don't think he committed suicide.
Speaker 10 (01:34:34):
Okay, yeah, I wouldn't think so either, Not when you
got that much dirt on somebody that they're like, hey,
he gotta go, so allegedly.
Speaker 11 (01:34:43):
See I'm done, But I know I said I had
some little thing like myn was a long as, but
only because I wanted to jump to because you asked
the music, So.
Speaker 5 (01:34:52):
Only only because I.
Speaker 11 (01:34:54):
Wanted to jump real quick over to Smokey Robinson, who
is the latest in the news who has been allegedly
targeted for.
Speaker 17 (01:35:04):
Sex harassment by women, and him and his.
Speaker 11 (01:35:07):
Wife are both him and his wife are both you know,
denying and no comment and just trying to let their
lawyers speak for them right now. But I mean over
like over twenty years.
Speaker 10 (01:35:20):
Quincy Jones, didn't they have something on him too in
his later years. Yeah, I'll look, I'll look. But that's crazy.
Speaker 17 (01:35:29):
It's like people wait until like sixty years later.
Speaker 11 (01:35:34):
It was watching the news, I was like, they got smoking.
Speaker 17 (01:35:37):
Who else coming next?
Speaker 14 (01:35:38):
Let me smoke a ros.
Speaker 10 (01:35:40):
I don't want they want money. They don't want the
criminal They wanted the money. They don't want the press
charge because.
Speaker 11 (01:35:45):
It seems like, you know, all the stuff is happening
and I don't know what the I don't remember the
statue of limitation is on these type of crowns, but
it's pretty up there in number.
Speaker 17 (01:35:55):
So it's almost like they're like, I got two.
Speaker 14 (01:36:00):
Here's that.
Speaker 17 (01:36:00):
Let me call now, Like I don't know what these
women are thinking, but.
Speaker 11 (01:36:04):
I want to. I want to that's my last storious
that's gonna say.
Speaker 17 (01:36:07):
I want to over to see. I want see to
tell me what he thought. As I'm looking at his face.
Speaker 5 (01:36:11):
How old is he?
Speaker 10 (01:36:13):
How old is smoking?
Speaker 3 (01:36:15):
Eighty four?
Speaker 11 (01:36:19):
I think about smoky.
Speaker 1 (01:36:21):
Yeah, I think that's a hot mess.
Speaker 3 (01:36:25):
Yeah, either way it goes. If it's true, if it's true.
If it's not true, it's just a hot mess. If
it is true. If this makes me think, it just
makes me think of you know, those family members, those uncles,
you know what I mean. Think you know those uncles.
You know that's in your family, you know what I mean?
(01:36:46):
I would like to put that on. I like, when
you're gonna be realistic, you want to start thinking.
Speaker 10 (01:36:50):
You know, we all got those people in our family,
those uncles you know who get touchy philly and nobody
or everybody know about him, but don't ever say nothing
and sleep it under the rug, you know them type.
Speaker 3 (01:37:04):
Yeah, you keep yourseluping under rug nobody, don't say nothing.
You know what, though, I think Uncle Smokey was touching
them girls.
Speaker 10 (01:37:11):
Yeah, I think back then though, they had a different
type of culture. What did Charlotte Maine from Breakfast Club?
He was like, it's like a rape culture, which was okay.
Like I was watching something on TV Land. It was
the old old family feud. This man went down the
line kissing everybody on the leg remember that. I was like, wait,
(01:37:32):
and then I've seen one interview was a it was
an older venue interview and he kissed the little girl
on the lips or ask her inappropriate and it was
in front of parents, and it was like it was
like acceptable. So not knowing how long ago this was,
it's like I think people are like, like you said,
when the child is feeling like, oh that you touched
me and it didn't feel right. Now I'm old enough
(01:37:55):
to now say you were wrong. And I don't even
know if the assailant knows how wrong they were, you
know what I'm saying, Like he might have been like
thinking that it was okay because he's done it so much,
that got away with it, that he didn't really touched to.
Speaker 11 (01:38:09):
So yeah, because I kind of feel like it's like
like you just used to compare him to the family,
But back then you could do things that it's not
I can't do now. So I'm wondering when it comes
to the Smoky Robinson situation. And there was some girls
thinking back like because back then it probably they probably
didn't think it was a crime, but today it is.
Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
Right. But that's what I'm saying, Are you talking nothing
about that? You know to hold this whole show? Come on,
so let me let me get some good dudes out,
like real quick. He actually was on the show. Friend
(01:38:57):
to the show, But I actually had the opportunity to
host a blue jacket fashion show where I was the host,
and it was about prostatect cancer, right, and so about
Zero prosect Cancer. That inn prosect Cancer is the leading
national nonprofit with the mission to end prosect cancer and
help all who are impacted. Right, And so this was
(01:39:19):
a nonprofit called Zero and every year they do this
huge fashion show. All gentlemen come in with blue jackets
to acknowledge, uh, yeah, the awareness for prosec cancer. And
so Mike Jerk was one of our honorrees, which makes
this even more special. And so I just want to
give a shout out actually host this event and so
(01:39:41):
we talked a little bit about fascion, so that was
pretty cool. But he sent it in a video. He
was actually uh covering.
Speaker 5 (01:39:48):
The Super Bowl at the time, which was done.
Speaker 2 (01:39:50):
Oh yeah, Spark, you was dead.
Speaker 10 (01:39:53):
Yeah you held it down, So thank you. I appreciate
it was cancer.
Speaker 1 (01:40:00):
It's about you know, making sure that you know, we
give some men go and get checked. Just PSA.
Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
That simple, it's not hard. They don't do anything inappropriate.
Speaker 5 (01:40:08):
Can I just go?
Speaker 11 (01:40:10):
All right?
Speaker 10 (01:40:10):
So I worked in oncology, so I really do have
background in prose cancer. So for men, like Charles said,
the PSA is nothing but a blood test.
Speaker 3 (01:40:20):
That's it.
Speaker 11 (01:40:20):
All you do.
Speaker 10 (01:40:22):
You know, get your arm ready. They'll put the rubber
band which is the venupuncture the tourniquet around your arm
and you know what your PSA. Now understand, when you
have a high PSA, it doesn't necessarily mean there's cancer
because the test that they're using or they're comparing to
where let's just say white men from forty to fifty
(01:40:43):
years ago of their PSA, so necessarily it doesn't mean it.
But you should talk to your doctor, just like women
should check their breast men should check their scrollamp always
feel to see if there's anything different down there. Also,
if you're going to the bathroom. A lot of times
men don't realize that your testosterone starts to decline after
thirty five years old and your estrogen level starts to
(01:41:05):
come up, so a lot of times the prostate gets enlarge.
So if you're going to the bathroom a lot of
times in the middle of the night, it could be
other colmorbidities like diabetes other things, but it should also
be let me talk to my doctor, because it is
natural for a man's prostate to grow. How do you
prevent these type of things as far as keeping a
healthy prostate? Eating healthy, working out. Sometimes sperm retention is good,
(01:41:31):
not always having and I might sound a little t
in mine, but a lot of masturbation or a lot
of intimate sex sometimes you do need those times where
not all the time, but you know what I'm saying.
So those are just things to look into. Again, when
you are about forty years old, get your prostate checked. Also,
if you have to get it to the point where
(01:41:51):
they find something and your doctor needs to do a biopsy,
it's called a gleasing score. So when they do the
biopsy they do where they'll have a gleasing score to
see how high your gleasing score is to tell you
if you have malignancy present. So I hope that was helpful.
Speaker 1 (01:42:10):
That's fantastic, all right, y'all. So a couple of different things.
So I had the opportunity to go to Manila to
do a presentation to those over in the country. Now,
this was the a CI Global Conference, and what that
is is the Association and Image Consultants International. Uh, these
are the top stylist consultants on the planet, right, And
(01:42:34):
so I had the opportunity to go there. They wanted
me to talk a little bit about fashion and AI
and how we can enhance a lot of the things
that you're doing using AI, right, And so I had
opportunity to go there. But what was interesting about this
is a little less about that, but more about the
game Changer program is where I got my first certification
(01:42:56):
in the AI. So shout out to Sue my rock
line and the fantastic people out there. I'm only talking
about this because I want to amplify this organization because
they specifically target a lot of us, and I say us,
I'm talking about black folk right and helping you get
more information about AI. What happens with tends to happen
(01:43:17):
about our community is that we get everything. Last there
was very specific in making sure that they amplify certain
tools and resources out there to make sure that you
can get the information to be competitive in this global economy, right,
not the last And so I took the thing out
of a certification to another class, got another certification. So
I'm very well versed in AI. But I say all
(01:43:38):
this to say that I'm very proud and honored that
they actually created a video for me amplifying me about
how well I did in the class, so that to
put in context, that's what I'm about to play now.
Will be right back, y'all.
Speaker 18 (01:43:52):
My name is Sue in my rock mind, and I'm
the founder and CEO of Diverse Force, which power the
Diverse Force Game Changes Accelerator, a twelve week program designed
to equip professionals with the AI and tech skills they
need for future career and business success. Charles Gregory was
a standout participant in our accelerator, demonstrating not only a
(01:44:14):
deep commitment to learning AI, but also a strong ability
to apply it in a way that bridges technology and creativity.
Through this program, Charles developed is apt Scene Still, which
is a prime example of how AI can be leveraged
to revolutionize industries like fashion, media and branding. His work
(01:44:34):
during the Accelerator was a testament to his vision, technical
execution and ability to innovate game changes. Is all about
preparing professionals to lead in this AI driven future, and
Charles's a shining example of the mission in action. His
ability to merge AI with fashion and branding is a
(01:44:55):
powerful demonstration of what's possible when creativity meets emerging technology.
I have no doubt that his insights at the ai
CI Global Conference will inspire others to explore the intersection
of AI and creative industries, just as he has done
through our program. Congratulations Charles on this well earned opportunity
(01:45:18):
to showcase your work on an international stage. We're proud
to have been part of your journey and I look
forward to seeing you and continue to push the boundaries
of AI and innovation.
Speaker 1 (01:45:29):
Tiers is a program, and I'll never tell we don't
do any cause to action, but what I will say
is I would like to see more of our folks
be active in certain scopes that we normally are not.
(01:45:50):
That's why we always speak on areas of stem esteem, right,
and so it's very important for us to be more
competitive because and this infrastructure is good to see more
black folks in it, but I didn't see a lot
of us in this ecosystem. Even when I talk about
the metaverse and n f T S, we are always
(01:46:10):
last on the boat. So you guys need to jump on,
get more informed, get more education, and go from there.
So shout out to the game change the program of
diverse forces whom and all the good folks.
Speaker 10 (01:46:21):
Shout out to you, shout out to me like, yeah,
we're gonna get.
Speaker 1 (01:46:29):
That's sorry, I give myself around because everybody. Yeah, I
appreciate it.
Speaker 10 (01:46:38):
And you went to Philippines too.
Speaker 1 (01:46:40):
I went to the Philippines. Yeah, I went to the Philippine.
Well that's Manila, right, Yeah, yeah, so I went to
the philip Nola.
Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:46:47):
So I went to Poonakana first. Yeah, yeah, it was
I can't remember. I went there first, and then I.
Speaker 5 (01:46:56):
Yeah that was the year before, year.
Speaker 1 (01:46:58):
Before, and then went to the Philippines in Manila.
Speaker 10 (01:47:01):
And so how was that experience out there?
Speaker 5 (01:47:03):
The people, the hospitality, I'm going to say this.
Speaker 1 (01:47:07):
I never ever went to a place. And first of all,
I don't travel. I don't like to travel. I hate
going through the TSA, I hate it. Don't touch me,
don't search me. I don't like any of that. Right,
I won't touch my bag, don't break my bag, stop
going through my stuff, stop telling me take off my shoes.
I'm getting triggered by it, right. But in any event,
(01:47:28):
I got there and the people so nice, man really nice.
Of course the women that were beautiful over there, but
everybody was so so so nice in it. It just
made me think that maybe I need to travel more
to experience different countries. But one of my biggest fears
is going to somewhere, certain places where I know they
(01:47:51):
don't like us, you know. And so for me, I
will definitely go back there if I had the opportunity,
I would definitely go back to people. They gave thing.
Speaker 3 (01:47:59):
It's giving me pre I saw the videos, good stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:48:06):
Yeah, so when I further do Charles Gregory, we talked
we have to talk a w P and P philadephiy
one of six point five. We talked, we have to
talk with you and beautiful.
Speaker 3 (01:48:15):
And beautiful Chi Chi.
Speaker 5 (01:48:17):
MOI, you got a story for us?
Speaker 1 (01:48:20):
Got something?
Speaker 3 (01:48:24):
Okay, okay, everybody, everybody.
Speaker 10 (01:48:26):
The time has now come this evening for the Rebuild
your Life segment. And this is a segment that I
am so guys, I'm so excited about because this has
been something that has been birth from my own personal experience. Now,
the Rebuild your Life segment is about the beginning of
(01:48:50):
the Rebuild your Life segment starting tonight, is about the makeover, right.
It's about reinvention. It's about reinventing your self so you
can be the best version of yourself. I don't know
about you guys out there, but I know I want
(01:49:10):
to be the best version of me.
Speaker 3 (01:49:14):
So that's what I did.
Speaker 10 (01:49:16):
I went out and I did that and now I
am sharing it with you so you can be the
best version of yourself. So, guys, ladies, this is about,
like I said, reinventing yourself. A lot of us out
(01:49:40):
there have forgotten about our dreams, our goals because of life.
Life has taken over, right, But now it's time to
put the fire back up under those dreams and go
(01:50:02):
after them. And it's about transformation. It's about identifying yourself.
It's about having the confidence to go after those dreams.
It's about having the confidence to say.
Speaker 3 (01:50:15):
I can still do it.
Speaker 10 (01:50:17):
This is to rebuild your life bringing This is about transformation.
In the news, we just saw Lizzo make this astonishing
transformation with her weight loss and shout out the Lizzo
and Lizzo is a perfect poster child right now for
the Rebuild Your Life's makeover segment because she has took
(01:50:39):
the confidence, she has identified herself and she has took
the steps to transform and now she is walking in
a new person. And that's what that is a part
of what the makeover segment is about. It's about identifying.
It's about stepping out on faith. It's about being on
(01:51:01):
a mission. Women on a mission. What does that sound like?
What does that feel like? I need you, guys, to
feel this in your soul. I need you to feel
this in your spirit. We all have dreams and goals
that are sitting there that are waiting for us to
take them off the shelves and go after them. But
(01:51:22):
there's a process, there is a system that we have
to follow and it's starting with the makeover. It's about
having the right mindset. It's about knowing who you are
it's about taking action. But first we have to, like
you asked me earlier, what do you do when somebody
(01:51:45):
comes to you and they have an issue. We got
to identify the problem. We have to identify where we
are in life when we have to be brutally honest.
So that being said, anybody out there who is ready
to make that shift in their life, anybody out there
(01:52:07):
who is tired of letting their dreams, letting their goals,
letting their potential sit on the back burner.
Speaker 3 (01:52:14):
You know you have potential. You know there's something burning
inside of you. The time is now. The time is now.
That's what I'm here to tell you. The time is now.
Speaker 10 (01:52:25):
If I could do it, you could do it. This
is to rebuild your life brand. This is time to
reinvent yourself. This is time for you to find your identity.
This is time for you to live in your perfect self.
Starting right here, right now, is to rebuild your life brand.
Speaker 3 (01:52:44):
This is the makeover.
Speaker 10 (01:52:46):
This is the makeover, and we have many different moving
components to the makeover. But first we have to start
with the mind. We're starting with the mindset. It starts
with the top and then we're going to work down
to the bottom.
Speaker 11 (01:53:00):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (01:53:05):
Mm hmm, that's where we're at.
Speaker 10 (01:53:07):
That's where we're at.
Speaker 1 (01:53:08):
Okay that listen, when you talk about being able to
take take take a moment and assess where you are
right to to reevaluate how you're feeling yourself to make
a change, I think that this is an excellent opportunity
(01:53:32):
to think about that, right, who who are you? Right?
Speaker 5 (01:53:35):
What is your why?
Speaker 6 (01:53:37):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:53:38):
Is there opportunity for me to look at myself and say,
you know what, there's some things that are missing, there's
some things that I can do better, and today is today.
And I think that was an excellent statement. So I'm
gonna give you round the claws for that, because I
know you inspire. I know you inspire the people, and
(01:54:02):
that's what we need here. Sometimes we just need a
little bit more, we need a little bit more push
to make changes. And sometimes we're just scared to make
the change. Right. Sometimes we just you know, we're nervous
that you know, if we make a step, then we
might step in the wrong direction, or we may not
have that that that that safety net. But sometimes you
(01:54:23):
just have to step the face. Martin Luther King said this.
He said, the first step of faith is to take
the first step. You don't have to see the whole hair,
the whole staircase. Just take the first step right, and
so it's important just take it. Never know right at
the very least right. You can't feel if you ain't try,
(01:54:43):
you gotta try it fell forward.
Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
I have a saying, I have a sing and the
Rebuild your Life Planner, and it goes, what if this
works out? What if this so happens to work out
the superior point? What if that's the workout?
Speaker 1 (01:55:01):
That's right, that's right, all right, ladies and gentlemen, You
boy Trus Gregor beautiful.
Speaker 10 (01:55:04):
Class, beautiful and a beautiful and this.
Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
