2006 Ministers award for outstanding individual achievement Victorian Public Health Awards.
2007 ACHS award Clinical Quality and Safety
2009 Churchill Fellowship to study patient centred care and patient safety

2014 Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence.

2015 Member of the Order of Australia for services to medicine, to community healthcare standards and to the Arts.

2016 Award for Excellence by an Individual ‘by APRA/AMCOS at the Australian Art Music Awards for her work on the Hush Collection albums 1-13

2016 Co founder inaugural Gathering of Kindness to address bullying and poor culture in healthcare by changing the conversation to one about a kind health system. Gathering of Kindness has grown into a considerable social movement in 2017-18
