three seven two seven and ask for Paul.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hey tell them wyit say?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I used to think about two things, you know, like.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Do you love me? Do you want me? Are you
gonna call me like you said you were?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Is this really your real for?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Hello everybody, and welcome to the first episode in April.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Today is episode.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Three three oh.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Seven of What Are Your Thoughts? Today is Friday, April fourth,
twenty twenty five, seven oh four pm, and we're coming
to life from Fresno, California, yep.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
BIA. So we didn't record.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Last week or the week before.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I think we recorded the book before.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I hope so at least, but we definitely did not
record the week before, mind telling where we.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Were we were in what.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
We were in Valencia. Yes, we had a little outing,
a little yes, excuse me?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
The city of Santa Clarita, and we went to six
Flags and uh, we had a good time. It was
a good time, a nice time to get away. It
ended a little quickly, but we had fun. So that
was the last. Well, you know, we actually only got
a few rides. Or I got on one ride. No,

(02:29):
I got on like three. The other two were with Olivia.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I was gonna say, and your dad also, he kind.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Of he got on one plus the train, which doesn't
even count really as.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
What the cable car count as we did.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
You didn't get it, We didn't get on the cable car.
Do you remember the song cable car over my head
the fray everyone was a man now, I guess maybe
he wrote that song on a cable car or in
a cable car.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I don't know, Like I.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Actually should look it up because I'm not sure what
the do.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
You think you know? How to save a life was
inspired by his like prior like jobs as like an EMT.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Or I was just thinking the same exact thing as
an a MT. Perhaps I should look up with the
lead singer, the lead singer of Yes, you just have
like a random thread that needs to be sewed.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Back, and that's where the name came from I.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Think so, and that is actually something that is frowned
upon in Clovis Unified.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Afraid gens, disrespectful to the Denim community. Use, you're ruining
a good piece of what Col's died for. What's isn't
it cotton?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
And so so you're her a character definitely does not
count if you have jeens. Yes, Oh my goodness, wow,
how fate would have it. So the lead singer of
the phrase we have the same birthday?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Actually I believe he is from Colorado for twenty six,
nineteen eighty one. He's actually the past member of the Fray.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I'm not sure what happened.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Maybe he went he went back to being an EMT
on a cable car, so hold on because it says
past members Isaac Slade. So I'm not sure exactly what happened,
but it's nice to know that we're both Gemini sisters. Anyways,

(04:53):
So going.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Back to.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Valencia, and yes, our family vacation six flags. So we
only got on we got on viper twice the first
as so as you could see, I was terrified.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
And it's so it's weird.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Because even though I've been on these rides, so many times.
No matter what, I'm always terrified. And now I'm even
more terrified because I work in the medical field. So
I'm like, wow, all these injuries could really happen, you
know what I mean. And as you could see, I

(05:35):
was shaking and I was so scared. But then I
was like, wow, this is so much fun when we
got When we got off Viper the second time around,
that was actually pretty scary because it was really harsh
for whatever reason. AnyWho, And besides X two, what else
were you looking forward to getting on that you didn't

(05:57):
get a chance.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Probably the two rides that we left midway through.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
So technically all of them. There really wasn't a right
I wasn't looking forward to like getting on, true. But yeah, yeah,
like I said, whenever I think I just have to
next time you take the lead, I think next time, well,
I think I'll just have to go maybe like other
or just we'll have well, we'll just have to because

(06:23):
it seems like I'm yeah, I think we'll get it
figured out. Well, No, I just think it's I think
we'll yeah, we'll have a better plan.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Next time, Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
And you know, I felt bad because I'm like, Okay,
Olivia is just waiting.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, I know that. Yeah, so I.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Didn't want her to just wait for like two hours,
you know, so she took the lead, right, Well, I'm sorry,
but in that case kind of sort of yes, understandable.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
So that's kind of why I was like, probably, yeah,
maybe the kid.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Won't come next time, but but I still had fun. Regardless,
I had fun. It was nice to get away. Now
this kind of I wish your dad would have gotten
on more rides because I think he would have had fun.
Like he would have been terrified, but he would have
had a lot of fun. And he definitely would have

(07:18):
been screaming a lot of epithets, whether they're racial or not, but.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Certain the demographics would have gotten some strays fear.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
So while we were there, and this ties into this,
ties into our trip, there was the man who rode
X two. He was a twenty two year old. This
happened three years ago in June of twenty twenty two.
So he and a few other people went on X two.

(07:57):
And I've never been on X two, And so for
our listeners, can you.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Just give like a quick so honestly, it's gonna be
a that would be a little work. Honestly, it's gonna
be a little tough because, like I said, last moment
was ten years ago and I went on once or twice,
and it's.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Not like when you're you know, you're backwards, right, you're
going you're backwards and see up.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Like, like I said, I would not be able to
give the best description because when you're rides in general, right,
you're kind of just experiencing and you're not necessarily memorizing
the layout of the ride. Honestly, can you any ride
that you have ever been on your life?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Can you really okay the layout, but I know more
or less.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Like okay, then describe a ride that you would be
like very familiar with in terms of like.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
The breaks, yeah, like or like what kind of lift
is or so okay, obviously I can't go into that exactly.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
So engineer, Well, that's kind of my point. This is
a ride I went on once ten years ago.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
You know how it goes.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
I'm being a thousand percent honest with you. I really
don't I And if you want to add it even
layer to it, like.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
You were drunk the whole time.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, in high school, we went backwards.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
That's exactly what I just said.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
So yeah, but that's not that's not the normal way
of how it goes.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Okay, so what I'm saying so, yeah, so it goes backwards,
and the seats also I think.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
They flipped, see, and that's where you would probably be
able to give it better. I don't. I honestly don't
even remember that.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
So I've never been on X two. But I'm trying
to think of the video that I just watched recently,
because now I'm like.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
You can give a better description than you can, because
you actually ten years ago and you'd watched it like
five minutes ago.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I've only seen po vs, right, it's very weird.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
No actually no, no, there's actually YouTube count called with the
Coast reviews.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, and they're really cool.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Actually yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
So anyway, so I didn't watch it five minutes ago,
more like five days ago. But if I'm not mistaken, yes,
so you go backwards, okay, So I'm trying to think
like you're going backwards, and you know how when.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
You would go forward, but the opposite, no frut, And the.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Seats that you're in, I think they're they're spinning.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Also, does that make sense?

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Well? See, and this is like, do I remember it.
I thought it was like you're in not a car necessarily,
but you're in like the structure of what you're in.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
It's like, yeah, like it's a seat.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yeah, some you're standing, right like on The Riddler's Revenge
that one you're I believe you're standing, So yes, this
one you're sitting.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
And I think the thing is I.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Think so whatever it's called, I don't remember. I mean
you could be you could be spinning, but.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
I am like ninety nine point nine percent sure you're spinning.
So as you're going backwards up the thing, you're spinning
as well, or at point you're spinning, so you're like
all discombobulate.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Anyways, so this is to say that this ride's like
pretty intense, right yeah, especially because you're backwards you don't
know what the hell is going on, and then you're
spinning at that.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
So according to your Central Valley dot Com, it says
this The Disorienting Coaster, which is designed with rotating seats
that move independently as the ride progresses, features holy shit,
a two hundred and fifteen foot drop.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Suddenly remember that.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Sudden flips and rotations all while reaching speeds of up
to seventy six miles proud.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Really, Yes, I remember going that fast, but I don't
remember a drop.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
So two hundred and fifteen feet that's a shit ton.
I think that's more than viper, and viper, that initial
drop you already.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Feel that's pretty HyG drop.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You didn't think so, Viper.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
I just drew it was pretty fast and pretty intense,
but I didn't think it was. Like in my mind
when I think of a high drop, I just think
of the ones that go straight up and down. That's
what I think of a high drop.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
But or the Matterhorn is a pretty that's a pretty
high drop.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Okay, I'm pretty sure vipers higher Yeah fast Hello. Anyways,
So it says also that near the end of the ride,
the coaster quote suddenly abruptly and violently jolted to a halt,
jarring the yeah, jarring the twenty two year old and

(12:31):
the other two boys in their seats. Okay, so I
don't know if you can see this pretty clearly, but
see see how it's like, So at some point those
seats start spinning while your back, and that.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
This is why I prefaed it by saying, I wouldn't
be able to give accurate description because that's not how
I remember it at all. I remember it being that's crazy,
like a black and red car, and this is great,
it's blue and gray, And that's what I remember X
two being like a black and red car and you're
sitting in it and like it just goes it from
me fast. But then maybe I'm thinking of two different rides.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Perhaps, So it says after he got off of the ride,
he knelt down, slumped over to his side, and lost consciousness. Anyways, Uh,
he ended up being rushed to the hospital. They did
a CT and it showed he suffered a catastrophic right
subdural hematoma from the roller coaster, so his brain was bleeding, right, Okay,

(13:30):
So anyways, so he ended up dying the next day.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Wow, So does that? Oh?

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Okay, So it says quote X two has been linked
to previous incidents where people received whiplash, head and leg
injuries and more from the rides shuddering, sudden shuddering, and jolts. Anyways,
So now I believe Magic Mountain is being sued for
negligence a design defect in a failure to warn customers

(14:02):
of the potential danger.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
I feel like it's stated though when you are approaching
the ride, it's pretty much stated like don't get on.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
I mean it does.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Maybe it doesn't say verbatim this ride has sudden jolts,
You're maybe prone to whiplasher injuries. Of course it's not
going to say that because people are not going to
get on the ride, right, people aren't even going to
go to the park.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
But it does say like.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Hey, this is bit like an intense ride. I think
it's maybe how the ride stopped. I don't think it
stopped on the time. I think it was a mechanical thing,
or I think it was.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Like perhaps the defense.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I don't know if it was emergency, but that that
was a part of the d there was maybe a defense.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
So that, yeah, I think that's where his case probably
has some legs.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Okay, So.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Another woman in twenty twenty one filed a lawsuit against
six Flags. So so again X two. She I don't
know about this. She said she was cause quote shock
and injury to her nervous system and persons. Wow, but
then it says that, uh so, I guess she some

(15:18):
she acquired some sort of brain injury. But they said no,
that it wasn't caused by that anyway, So I don't
know either way.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
That's so scary.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
This is super scary because after Viper the second time,
I was like, I'm done.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I can't, I can't do this.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
That bruise that was left the my back, my lower
back was sore.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Really, I swear to god.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
It was You're like, this is no, I no, I
swear to god. My lower back was sore. My neck
I had a headache right after. Like it was too much.
It was way too much. Yeah, so it's a little scary.
But this poor guy, I mean twenty two and the
family said that he was quote in excellent health. So

(16:10):
but I mean, talk about it messing up your nervous system.
I could believe that because you're literally like in fight
or flight mode during the ride. So I could see that,
what is this gonna stop you from getting on X
to ever again?

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Maybe because there's obviously there's yeah, some health what or
like risk, Yeah, physical concerns, But I guess it's I
don't know. Maybe the rides that six Flags are as
what the kids would say, built different. They're not necessarily
like Disneyland or even not to his farm or anything else.
They are a little more intense.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
But is there any ride that you will not get
on that you've seen?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
The one I try to describe it. It's not even
necessarily like it's big. It's just the one that spins
in a circle like extremely fast. Like it's hard, kind
of hard to explain things that six flags. It's just
any like circular spinning ride that's just going in circles.
That's gonna make me dizzy. I'm probably not gonna get
on that.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
So you don't want to. You don't like the dizziness?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Uh no, because what's how's that enjoyable? Yeah, that's just
making me dizzy. That's not really like fun. You like
the tea cups Like, it's like imagine that right, Like
I wouldn't be like, oh, let's go on.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
The tea cups really and see. For some reason, maybe
I'm built different.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
I'm like, okay, well, I just think of a stomach ache.
I feel like I'd get sick after that. I'd be like, Okay,
that's actually like you.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Know, I've never gotten sick after a ride or even
during a ride, So.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Yeah, n rides, I'm usually good, but those rides I
will you'll get sick.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah, but anyways, but it was fun.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Poor guy rests in peace.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Shout out to six Flags, shout out.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Get that lawsuit. Hope, hope six Flags beat the case.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah, thank god.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Anyways, So can you tell that I've been stressed out lately?

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Maybe specifically just for today because you were trying to
find your grades.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I went to go get my.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Face threaded earlier, and the girl who usually does it,
she's like, oh, you seem so tired today, and I
was like, dang. I was like, wow my mood. I
guess I really do wear my heart on my sleeve.
But you know, Sean Michaels trying to get into trying
to get everything ready for nursing school, just to apply it.

(18:30):
Just word of advice, don't wait until the month of
I don't know what I was thinking. Waiting until yeah,
the month of but never again, so just you.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Wait two months before maybe.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Two months yeah, but you know I'm applying on the
thirtieth and it's the fourth. So just not a good idea.
But that is what I have been preoccupied with mentally
and emotionally, is getting everything ready to apply for nursing school.
And you know, even if I don't get in this

(19:07):
time around, there's always next type. And I'm just really
excited and so grateful for the opportunity to even be
able to do so because I never thought that I
would be I mean a couple of years ago, yes,
but prior to that, like, I never thought that I.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Would be in a classroom.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
That and actively trying to get into nursing school. I
just never saw.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
That for myself.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
So, you know, talk about gratitude and being thankful, and
you know the mustache era, You're.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Grateful that the mustache air inspired you?

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yes, yes, So anything particular peculiar that's happened at your
job in the healthcare field. Is there anything in the
health field that you've that has changed your perspective working
with people, like anything people with ailments? Is there anything

(20:11):
that you feel grateful for have gratitude towards.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Definitely grateful for my current health because I know that
it's unless I still hold on sort of belief that
I think I said this last podcast that what fifty
sixty seven years from now, they're going to have some
sort of advancements in health where we're going to be
able to get rid of any ailments, so we wouldn't
even have a need for what certain.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Well, my teacher was talking about, what is it. I
guess there's medication or new medication on the rise with
something having to do with HIV.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Yes, so you can go.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Like pretty much soon there'll be unveiling medication to like
get rid of it CHIV.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Yeah. So if that's in twenty twenty five, imagine what
medicine might have in like twenty sixty or twenty seventy.
What do you think, Uh, I wouldn't be able to
extra extra extra strength title all or extra strength.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
I think at that point you would just be ingesting
like sim cards, Like you would just put like a
SIM card.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
On May it'd be some sort of like nanotechnology. But yeah,
I imagine like Okay, you take some sort of like
prescription pill, right, and that cures Alzheimer's. Yeah, or you
take some sort of prescription pill and that cures like
migraine or something like that. I feel like when it
I feel like when it advances to that point, you're
not going to see as many like oh, I'm in

(21:39):
here kind for a broken hip or I'm in here
because I don't know I have respiratory issues like reugh,
like we'll see less and less of that and more.
I don't know healthier humans physically ideally, but that's far
in the future now. Obviously, I know that if something
goes wrong, I could be one of those patients. So
I'm trying to be knock gonna win, grateful for my

(22:00):
current health.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Do you want to be at PG, like being getting
rehab there?

Speaker 3 (22:08):
That would be a very like Ludwig Welcome to a
bad one. No, that would be like a very odd situation.
I don't think I've seen anyone there at under the
age of like forty, you know what. There have been
twenty year old patients there. Yeah, that's kind of she.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
I know she was in her some young and she
I believe went underneath or hit a semi truck with
her children in the car.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
And I remember.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
This is when I was first working there, so I
was like brand new CNA. I was so scared to
touch her because she had rods in her legs. Yeah,
and I remember being terrified to even get closer because
I didn't want to cause her pain.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
She like, she was in pain.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
She was so uncomfortable, super young, like I said, And
she came back. I remember several months later walking. Yeah,
but she was there, you know, for rehab. But but
it was rare that you would see.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
And that's kind of where I'm like, if I ended
up there at the sage, like what the whatever? Like
what happened? But yeah, I don't know, I don't have
any like I guess my only other like experienced that
facilities is Bethlutherian and Selma.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
What exactly even is.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Of like the priest Like there's priests with Rabbis, Baptists Utherians.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Okay, alrighty well, shout out to the witch switch set.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Do you read? Are you luthor? You rab?

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Hold on?

Speaker 1 (24:04):
So it's March madness. It's coming to yeah, okay, but
hold on, hold on. It ties in with the full
face of makeup.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Okay, so up your.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Alley, right right up your alley, mate, because I know
you really wanted to talk.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
About this one.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Okay, you're so, I think we should talk about how
like if if I even have any sort of curiosity
about anything, it's like I have like a no, that
was you you meant that there was no like punchline
there was that was just like a that was a
thought was like a I'm just like a pure that

(24:47):
was like a percentage of like a joke that wasn't
even like.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
No, no, no, no, no, you know, I'm.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Just I think you actually meant that. We can still
talk about it.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
But okay, so you brought up.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
I brought up out of curiosity because you're a woman
watching sports, not necessarily because I because yeah, or I'm
like yeah, I'm just more okay as a woman. Is
that what like if you're a professional athlete or a
semi professional athlete, are you gonna be like, you know,
I'm gonna put on a full face of makeup before
I go play basketball and go play football or lacrosse.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Or cricket specifically, or pickball is very big here like
in Clovis.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
I'm not what exactly does it?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
So I've looked at it as it's like you're when
you've gotten to your post athletic phase in line and
not and not. That's not necessarily a bad thing because
everyone gets there right. Some people don't even enter their
present athletic phase and line.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
This is pickleball.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
What do you what do you say like tennis, it's
a form of tennis, it's not I think it's like
a more condensed version of tennis.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
You thought they're playing with actual pickles or.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
So for whatever reason? Cornholl cornhole, Yes, that's what comes
to mind.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
I had no idea. And what's the fruit.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Pick I guess public pickleball court recommendations.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Presno.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Anyways, I had no idea that it was this kind
of setup.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
I look at it as when I say post athletic.
Obviously there's a spectrum of athleticism, right, there's a spectrum
of athletic activities. Yes, we'll say going out and playing
basketball requires a little more athleticism than golf. Yeah, right,
So I think pickleball kind of falls in that like

(26:44):
middle ground where it's like you have you have to
have a little a level of athleticism for that, but
you may not necessarily need as much athleticism as it's
like an indoor soccer league, right, where you kind of
have to be like on the higher end of the
athletic spectrum.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
I would say with pick a ball, you definitely need
to have stamina or in durance coordination to continue hitting
the ball and then you're running back and forth. Because yeah,
but I had no idea that it was like that. I,
like I said, I had corn hole in my the.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Whole on the lesser end of the spectrum where you
working and good at least a decent eyes sight.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Okay, and it really does work out your legs because
the few times that I've played in my life, my legs.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Have always been walking to pick up because.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
You're using your legs to really.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Think you're throwing upper ham Yes, and then you have
to run to get the ball. Yes, so but okay,
pick a ball. So how did we get on this?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
This was from all the.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Oh okay, the beat face all right.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
So as a woman now in my real life, like
I really obviously don't wear makeup, but when I go
out and I want to present myself to the world,
especially in a professional setting, I do like to look
nice and wear makeup. It's part of my uniform, you

(28:24):
know what I mean, It's part of my uniform. It
doesn't make me who I am, but it's part of
my uniform in dress code correct with beep.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Yes, So.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I mean now, and are there times where I'm sweating?

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (28:41):
But is it like sweating like when I'm throwing a
basketball for like two hours?

Speaker 2 (28:46):
No, but I do.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Understand why they would want to wear makeup or why
they do wear a makeup a It makes you more
feel more confident, It enhances your features.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
See a little bit of a psychological intimidation to the
person that the person guard isn't wear makeup. Yes, they're thinking, oh, ship,
like I probably should have put put some on, and
now you're forgetting about.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Exactly exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
And it just for the most part, it makes women
and men we're talking about women here. It makes women
just feel better about themselves.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Right. It can lead to a better performance overall and
on the court.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
You know what, It's true.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
I always say when you look good, you feel good,
and you do good.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Our coaches would say it's true.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
And you know what, because today when I went out
pre shower, I went out and I was like, oh
my god.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
This is before I got.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
My eyebrows threw.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Yes, I was like, oh my god, I can't look
at anybody because.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
I haven't taken a shower.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Yes, and my eyebrows were a mess, you know what
I mean. And then post shower, I'm like, Okay, I
washed my hair, I got my eyebrows, my upper lip
and my chin threaded. You know, I feel better about
myself because I look better, so now I can present
myself to the world. So that's maybe how these ladies

(30:21):
feel as well. And too, Like I said, they're also
on TV. I would assume that some of them, not
all of them, of course, but some of them would
want to look presentable for the cameras. Hey, yes, I'm
thinking networking opportunities. Yes, you're going to get interviewed, You're

(30:46):
gonna have pictures taken. Maybe you're gonna go out afterwards.
Now when I say out, I mean like maybe you're
gonna go get some ice cream or something. You never know,
you know what I mean. So now I don't know
what I were a full face of makeup. But see,

(31:09):
I'm on TV. So that's the thing.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
It's almost like you're on a show at that point.
If you kind of xactly, you would be on full
house without exactly.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
So maybe I would because that's part of my uniform, right.
But then at the same time, you're getting so sweaty,
and I would assume you'd want to Like me, I
would want it, So I don't know. I probably would
only maybe put on like some mascara and lip gloss. Okay,
make sure my eyebrows were in tip top shape.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Some moisturizer.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, because I would be way too sweat than the mascara.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
I don't know, but I'm not against it. I'm not
opposed to to it whatsoever.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Okay, Yeah, that's probably the yeah afecting as a take.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Yes, Now what about you if you were a gal.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
So my upcoming transition, right, I think there's an opportunity
for some all inclusive regularly. I think when I start
at this point, I would start shopping at Sephora.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Okay, and I would pick up my specifically, what's what
alt causing?

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Say Vogue, Vogue or maybe ALTA, who knows. Maybe if
I wanted to keep it just nice and simple. Bed
bathroom body works?

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Can you make a body work? Can you make bed
bath and body works?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Are you talking about bed bathroom being hold.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
On the bed bath and beyond body works? No? Bath
and body or can you get can you get makeup
at bath and body works?

Speaker 1 (32:55):
I think they have lip gloss and like lip balm,
but I don't they have like make up.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
That's where that's where you draw the line. Bath the
body bomb tend to lit bomb?

Speaker 3 (33:09):
No? I think uh I don't know. I was trying
to think of the male equivalent, right, like, what's.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
The there's there's some men in there.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
I guess it would be because even when I go,
I don't necessarily I don't make sure my hair is perfect,
but I do want to look presentable, right, Yeah, I
guess it's more because when it's not presentable, I feel like, exactly, like.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I look crazy exactly, And it's hard for you to
look people in the eye, right because I.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Feel like they're looking at my hair when no, I
can look people in the eyes to because I feel
like they're looking at my hair and being like, damn,
what happened?

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Okay, Damn Africa?

Speaker 3 (33:44):
That what happened to you?

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (33:49):
Wait wait, wait, wait.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Hold on, damn high school? You so hold on.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
I want when it comes.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
I want to know.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
This is what I wanted to talk about last week.
But so this is already like two weeks old or
going on two weeks but juveniles not facing charges after
fight outside of Clovis store leaves paramedic hospitalized. Wow, So
I think there was footage of it, but I don't
have it at this moment. But anyways, so a group

(34:25):
of miners will not be facing charges after a fight
outside a mall and Clovis sent a man to the
hospital paramedic. I think, so, yes, yes, yes, at that
freakin' oh, I guess that's the only one, right, the
target Okay, the target that I frequent way too much. Anyways,

(34:45):
So this came out March twenty seventh, were April fourth,
but like I said, I wanted to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Last week.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Prosecutors reviewed police body camera footage and surveillance video from
the store, which they say did not show a clear
aggressor in the fight. They add that the juveniles were
also left with injuries, so.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
It's like versus a group of juveniles.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
I read that some girls were in the fight as well.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
I could be wrong, or.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
This could just be people in clothes.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I think they just happened to be right, right, So
I just was kind of like, huh, so hold on.
It says that the Clovis Police Department says the couple,
identified by a family as Herculano and Lilia two K,
were walking into the store when they got into a

(35:40):
verbal argument with a group of minors.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
What the anyways, This is like a grown couple that
happened to be walking in. It's probably like a group
of kids were walking out in what someone said something
to another maybe, yeah, kids doing in my in my target?

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Uh who yeah? Who knows?

Speaker 1 (35:59):
So oh the mom is a nurse and the dad
the victims of paramedic.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
Wow, kids must have just like beat their ass and like, yeah,
maybe I think that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Uh, not to say it like that anyways, So if
you don't so with him being in the hospital, yeah,
and being in critical care, critical condition, is that enough
for them to be.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Charged?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
So even though in the video you can't see who yeah, yeah,
is that enough because the kids were also left with
injuries not as extensive as his.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Yes, it what it sounds like, because how often I
mean this is it sounds like a grown couple, right, yeah,
and these are a group of kids. Yeah, So a
random a random grown couple and a random group of
kids probably aren't going to be like crossing paths unless
they're literally crossing paths like walking in.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
I think, yeah, that's what it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
So in that case, I don't want to blame the kids,
but I feel like the kids probably said something being
kids right then, probably felt like he needed to stand
up either been to him or to his his girl.
But yeah, I felt the need to stand up. And
the kids they found the right one, right, I found
the wrong ones, I should say, and they probably took

(37:19):
it there. But since they're grown ups, they probably like
some maybe some of them had a weapon or something.
Obviously it was like a there was an altercation that happened,
And I would just say, as.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
If as a cable car guy.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
As as adults in that situation, if you're the aggressor,
you're going the wrong. If you're the ones that are retaliating,
you're kind of still in the wrong because why the
hell are you retaliating against kids? Like? What doesn't matter?
Even if what what it's a it will take you,
for example, right, because I'm not. Some may use that
as like a mark against my character being non confrontational,

(37:56):
But in that situation, there's a very short list of
things that a group of kids can say that's going
to make me want to fight them, so.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Right, right from your perspective as a thirty four year old, yeah,
as a thirty three year.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Old, I mean, just as a person who's a little
more confrontational, what is who me, who's more willing to scrap.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
That is how hilarious.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
When we have your mom on the podcast, I think,
oh special guests, So ask her to tell the story
about what happened to her and Jason Penny when she
came across that one white girl. Oh you remember that and.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
A little bit you have ohmer technical difficulties.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
That wasn't the leftop. I know you don't remember that story.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
A little bit. I think so.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
We were in it was either I'm almost positive with
Jason Penny we were walking out the mall.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Wait, we were with her.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
I think it was for sure me. I was for
sure with her. You may have been there as well,
and Raydon is really trying to make his presence.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
So so you were with your mom?

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Yes, we are many now I think about like looking back,
we went to Fashion Fair.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
A lot, very much so, and Regal Cinema is very
much so. Marie Calendar's got Chuck's Black angus not.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
That much for black as we went there a few
times it was more Denny's.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Okay, I could keep going.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Yeah, regardless though I think I'm almost positively were walking
out like not not it was like we were walking
out the front door. But that like, how do I
say it. So you walk into Jacon Penny from the side, right, Okay,
there's like the makeup, like you pass the makeup and
like you go into the mall. Okay. Yeah, we're kind
of in like that middle part before you pass them

(39:53):
get them all. We're just in that middle okay, right,
but we're like heading towards like the side entrance or whatever,
towards the shoe I think shout out yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Eleven twelve thirteen.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Okay, So I think you're and me. I think me
and your mom both have kind of had this habit
where we'll kind of just zone and I think you
do too. Maybe your dad does as well, But we
just have this like we'll zone out, but we'll still
just be staring, or we'll just be looking but not
really thinking. Right. So I think your mom had just
zoned out and she just happened to be looking like
straight oh I see, yes, but in the direction of

(40:27):
someone else. So the lady like cross passion, and she
just I think she told her something. She's like, what
the fuck are you looking at? Like she said she
had said something about of like why are you looking
at me like that? Or like and I see you
staring at me. I think this is a white lady.
This wasn't like yeah, this was like a thirty year
old maybe like we'll say early thirty early thirty year

(40:47):
old white lady. And your mom was even continued she
was like wait what and I think she was just
like oh, yeah, like I was just I think she
tried to explain it and the lady was like yeah,
whatever and like like like kept it going. But your
mom did say, like I asked her about it, like
I think later on that day or I think just
after it happened, she was like, oh, to drag that
girl out hair.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Do you think your mom would have done there?

Speaker 3 (41:15):
She was capping no cap on Mom's on moms and
no cap. I think I think she would have. I
think she could have.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
Do.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
I think she like really would have taken it there.
I don't think your mom is gonna actually, like no,
physically put her hands on someone. But do I think
she could. I think she could do.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Yeah, But that's doing way too much. It's like chill out.
That's just somebody who wants to fight and who's looking
for a reason to be confrontational.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Yeah, I think that's yeah, I think that's what it was,
and I've not necessarily been in situations like that, but
I have. There's been situations where I just zoned out
and just been looking straight and I've thought like, oh shit,
like I think back to that situation, like okay, let
me like, I hope that doesn't happen to.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Me, because, you know what, there's times at work where
I'm in the lobby and I'm looking everywhere. I'm looking
everywhere because i want to see who's coming in, like
I just I'm you know, I just I want to
see who's where, who's coming in, like people, Yes, And

(42:18):
then there's times where my eyes keep crossing with my
coworker and I'm like, oh my god, I hope she
doesn't think that I'm like trying to you know what
i mean. But it's like, no, I'm looking at everything.
I'm looking at everyone, but you're there where I'm looking.
So we just I keep happy, happy, I'm happening to

(42:40):
look at you, and I'm thinking, oh my gosh, probably
thinks like this bitch is just staring at me, and no,
you just happen to be there and I need I'm
looking everywhere, you know, But yeah, no.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
I get yeah that that happens not often, but there
are times where I just happen to be looking, like
just looking, and like there's a person that's where I'm looking.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
I'm like, okay, yes, so hold on, did you hear
about this one? Oh my god, people are like so ridiculous,
like freaking unhinged. The I don't even I don't know
if he saw the video of it, the footage. This
happened recently, like within the last few days in Madera.

(43:21):
The man who goes into Walgreens shoots the pharmacy like
tech or whatever behind the counter, kills him and then
tries to I think shoot or get into it with
the manager because he says that he's like trying to
get back up pharmacies.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
No, I have not heard.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
This is recent, yes, in Maderra.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
And is this like at a CVS.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
Walgreens in Madera. So he killed the poor innocent man
who was just doing his job working in the pharmacy.
And anyways, now he's being charged with what.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
Murder?

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Yes, but I guess he so.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
And what's crazy is that this guy lives I think
in fucking Pixley, and he drove an hour away to
that specific Walgreens just to shoot and kill this person
who I believe they don't even know each.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Other obviously not because who knows. There's very few people
I think that know someone in Pixley. There's only like
six thousand people in there, so there's literally only a
few people that you could know.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
So, right, So he pled not guilty to charges of
murder with a gun enhancement. I don't know if that
means like there was a silencer on it, I don't know.
And attempted murder with a gun enhancement, so that's when
he tried to kill the manager anyways, But I'm just like,
what the hell you know? And this is something that

(44:57):
I always think about, especially in the emergency department. The
long wait times people yea, yeah, people, because no one
can get turned away, so not being turned away, but
just the long wait times. You know, people, You're in
such a stressful environment, people are pissed off, people are sick.

(45:21):
You're there for days, sometimes you're in that lobby for hours,
you're put in the hallway. There's many reasons why a
patient can become upset and then retaliatory, right, So I
always think about this too, like you know, and that's
why too. I'm always looking because it's a few of

(45:43):
us against a shit ton of patients, and anyone is
able to just go into that hospital at any moment.
And I'm sorry, but security is like not always the
most diligent, yes so, but yeah, but people are just

(46:03):
and here he is right here in the Walgreens with
the gun.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Just yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
And even in the in the footage of him at court,
there's a part where he's like laughing or smiling.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
So he retaliated to what though, like why what?

Speaker 2 (46:19):
What was his He's mad?

Speaker 1 (46:21):
Allegedly he did this because he's mad, I guess the
pharmaceutical industry.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
So he's trying to beg.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Yes, that's what people were saying. And unfortunately this guy.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
He you know what, after three hundred and seven episodes,
I still have a hard time seeing what you show
me on the laptop because you did it again? Actually
were you? I can but just leave it there.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Sorry, I'm thinking it's easier for you.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
Know, it's a lot harder action.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
I'm sorry. Yeah, but he murdered.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
I wouldn't expect that. He kind of looks like Mario
a little bit. Actually, oh, I could say that little bit.

Speaker 1 (47:01):
I could see an you know, it's freaking senseless. Yeah,
he's literally no.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
Reason and does he does Starbucks? In that? Does he
has a Voss water? Okay?

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Yeah, I thought it was any who maybe they were.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
Like tied into the the case as well.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
So, but it's like, I'm sorry, but like my thing
is like, don't you have anything else better to do?

Speaker 3 (47:25):
That's all obviously not. Yeah, when people.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
Do senseless stupid ship like this, I'm always thinking, don't
you have better things to do or better things in
your mind?

Speaker 3 (47:35):
Yeah? I don't think they do. I think in their
mind that is the best. Yeah, they could do.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Because it's like you're so he drove late at night,
like fifteen thirty minutes before the store was about to
close an hour away to go kill some random person
hes nothing to do with. Yeah, how does that change
the pharmaceutical industry?

Speaker 3 (47:57):
I think he not at all. He took what Luigi
didn't look at it, looked at it from a very
short sighted.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
Super short sighted and uh anyways, so rest in peace
to Eric Velasquez and thankfully the other person, the manager
who he attempted to kill or wanted to.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
You know, didn't die.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
Oh and I like how he was waving the gun
around in the camera and Walgreens. What a fucking loser. Anyways,
So but yeah, I didn't know if.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
You had heard about that. I didn't honestly.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Thought about or thought about it if you had had
heard about it.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
Anyways, So yeah, I just wanted to.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
To bring that up.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Did you have any confessions for this this week's EP?

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Hmm, excuse me, I'm trying to think. Excuse me, Oh,
you know what, I don't either, No, not really honestly,
this week I've just been my My nutrition class ends
on Monday, thank god. I actually very much enjoyed it.

(49:16):
My teacher's really cool. He's been a good teacher. I've
maintained my a thank god, I have a ninety eight
point ninety four in the class. Yes, I've put in
the work and the time and the effort and the
studying and a lot of a lot of stuff that

(49:36):
I've gone through has helped to with like my own
personal things, So that definitely helped.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
I'm trying to think what else, Oh, some confessions. I've
spent quite a bit. This is why I can't have
Amazon on my phone.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
I know what's been the most unneeded purchase that you
like literally have no need for, and you just sidi anyway.

Speaker 2 (49:58):
You know what I feel like all of it.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
How about those stupid transcripts that I so today And
I panicked and I just saw transcripts and I didn't
even read the whole thing. So I'm freaking out, like,
oh my gosh, I need my high school transcripts. And
they didn't answer the phone. Clovis, they didn't answer the phone.

(50:26):
So I'm like, okay, I'm just gonna assume I need
my transcripts.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
And turns out no, like my.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
Freaking diploma was sufficient enough. So I ordered Clovis transcripts,
Sunnyside transcripts. One was like seven dollars, one was five dollars,
and then I had to go back and reorder Fresno
City transcripts.

Speaker 3 (50:50):
And did you receive them?

Speaker 1 (50:52):
So then I found out that they could be emailed electronically,
so I paid for them to be mailed when they
could be even so all in all, like twenty dollars
for like four different sets.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
Which aren't gonna come for like two weeks, which.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
I don't even need because it turns out, oh, all
you really need is just your diploma.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
And I have. Olivia has proof that she really doesn't
have to get like good grades because those grades are
good that and that's what God and so that was mine.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
Well, and then I'm like thinking back because it asks
when's the last year you attended?

Speaker 2 (51:32):
I don't freaking know.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
And then I'm like, counting Clovis, when's the last year
I attended? I do on two thousand and seven, No,
like two thousand and seven or two thousand.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Long ago you were in high school?

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Yes, I know, and you it doesn't seem like it
was that long ago, seventeen ten years ago?

Speaker 2 (51:50):
What's your date of birth?

Speaker 1 (51:55):
But and then the questions that it asked too for
Fresno Unified transcripts, what address is associated with you? Which
other city did you use to live in? What's your
former zip code? What are your first four digits of
your And it gives you all these options. Who cares

(52:16):
they're freaking transcripts, but because they're official sealed, Yeah, that's
why the questioning is so freaking extensive and too.

Speaker 3 (52:24):
Maybe you can like use somebody else's transcripts.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
Probably that's why I know, that's why it's so extensive.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
But I'm like really.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
Like, well, at least you get to see your grades.
I think I still have some of my actual like
grades that I in like the closet I can just
go and pull out. Oh okay, you.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
May need it in the future, like if you ever
decide to do higher education, Yeah maybe, or I mean
not higher education but.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
A higher career. You may need it.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
But I know it's funny because there was a letter
that I found in here and it was from Clovis's
I think it was regarding myself, and it was like
this is your yes, it was a suspension notice or
something like that, and I was just like, oh my god,
I can't believe this, like or it was like a

(53:14):
like your fifth like absence or something, I don't know,
something to that extent.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
But I was just like, wow, this is so.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Just the difference between that Mariah and then today's Mariah.
I'm just like this, this is highly embarrassing, and like,
I don't want them looking at my transcripts.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Were maker yes, because.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
They may not want me in their program even though
I have definitely redeemed myself. You never know, you know
what I mean, So thank god those transcripts are not
necessary because you would definitely see fffff and probably like
a one point five gpa.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Yeah, so what was your This was one point six
with my highest was like three point something. But that
was one of those times where it's like the beginning
of the school year and like you have very minimal assignments,
so you just get credit for being there and turning
in that one or two assignments. It was usually by
the second what do they have like the quarters like

(54:18):
that first like four weeks or six weeks, that first
six week grading period, it would be like fine, and
that second six week grading period it'd be like that's
when like started going down here.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
What was your favorite subject? Like what was the studge?

Speaker 3 (54:31):
I'm not about trying to sound like funny or like annoying,
but pe honestly, I very much looked.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
Forward to that's legit.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
P If it had to be like an actual like
education class. Ninth grade, what was it? Our ninth grade
science class was pretty cool because our teacher was cool.
Photography was cool. That was like junior senior year because
we actually developed the pictures in the ark room.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
Yeah, that's actually really cool.

Speaker 3 (55:01):
So that was cool. Zoology was kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Zooology.

Speaker 3 (55:08):
So no, it's not about so this is actually like
the lesser this is if you're not smart enough for biology.
So exactly right. So there was this was this was
sophomore year, and now was this so this is the
this is my freshman year, going into sophomore year. We're
going picking the classes out for the next year, right
with my counselor. And she's like, okay, you need a
science class. She's like, there's biology, there's chemistry, there's whatever.

(55:32):
So she's like, obviously you're not in the like aligning math, right,
so you can't even you don't apply, you don't qualify. Yeah,
you don't qualify for chemistry and not so messive.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
There's not even like hey, but this is how you
could maybe want to get it.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
I think you had been yourself. Well you had to
have been in like the like associative math class at
least in a certain one. Uh. And then she was
like you could be in biology. But she was like,
you weren't an algebra yet. There was like some correlation
to my science and math class. And she was like,
since you're not in that math class, it probably wouldn't
be like a good idea to take biologies. I was like, okay,
So she was like, you can take zoology. I was

(56:10):
like that was like the only option and that was cool.
I think we may have dissected or frog maybe. Okay,
so zoology is this the study of the It's the
biology of animals. Okay, so yeah, in biology obviously study
of us. Zoology is the biology of animals. That was cool.
Health was cool ninth grade, but that was more cool

(56:30):
just because like very yeah cool. Yeah, it's stuffed, very
common sense. But it's like I like that class because
like very little is expected to you, and like any
class this would be like the perfect class, right, any
class that's minimal is expected of you while also the
knowledge being something.

Speaker 2 (56:49):
That's like useful pertaining to that.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
But you're like you're I'm able to like retain it. Okay,
for example, algebra, Like how unless you're just good at math,
that's hard to retain that information.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
You definitely have to keep practicing keep that's a that's.

Speaker 3 (57:08):
A tough yeah, very much so science class, right, you
kind of have to remember the formulas, You kind of
have to remember like the curriculum.

Speaker 4 (57:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
Again, you have to apply it over, apply yourself over
and over.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
Tough, right, Health, you really don't. It's just common sense.
It's like stuff you already should know or stuff that
when you hear it once it's like, oh that makes sense.
It's like that's just normal, right, so easy. That's an
easy class, plus various little is expected of you because
it's just a health class. Right. It's like, you know,
this is not like the end of the world. Any elective.

(57:40):
There were some electives. I think that would be like
kind of difficult, but I don't. And what's fucked up
is like if you get backgrades, you don't you get
to choose your elective because you're in like remedial classes.
So I don't even really even remember having electives like
that school my god. But yeah, I forgot how we
got to that.

Speaker 1 (57:58):
But yeah, I guess, okay, and you know, I'm trying
to think back. So science I always enjoyed to a
certain point. Or biology chemistry hell to the no science yes,
or biology.

Speaker 3 (58:11):
Yes, History Phoography yes.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
So when I went to Sunnyside, I forgot my teacher's name.
Was it mister Diaz. I saw him like a couple
of years ago, something like that, Andy Diaz. Anyways, that
class I really enjoyed it, and it was like history
I don't know one or whatever, but I was like, wow,
this is actually or was it political science? No? It

(58:36):
was history, political science and history and biology. I'd say
those are my top faves, but especially history and learning
about how the government works political science. But history is
always at my top because it's nonfiction, just like it's real.
I love nonfiction books when I do read, which is never,

(58:58):
but if that's my favorite genre, nonfiction, and I love history.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
See like history government, yes.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Or criminal justice. I don't know if they know they didn't,
but in.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
College criminals, those of the classes like straddle that line
of being a good class, but also there was like
a decent amount of work involvement very much out of it.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (59:21):
Yeah. So it's like, like I said, any that's like
right in that middle. They're interesting classes, but it's like
if you had a teacher that's like, hey, you need
to do all this work, it's like, okay, well now
it's just a lot of work I have to do.
It takes the fun out of it. I think that's
what it was, because it's like, as a student, your
goal is to get good grades so you pass. It's
not like, hey, let me get these good grades, so

(59:41):
I learn because it's like you need to pass or else.
It's not you need to learn, it's like you need
to pass these or else you get in trouble or
else you don't graduate.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
That's actually not a good no.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
And see that's kind of why I've always had like
I don't know this like reallylationship with school because it's
like you, I'm only doing this because I have to
do it, and it's like you're I have to do this,
and I'm like, only do this doing this because you're
making me like when in life, I guess, I guess what,

(01:00:16):
Like you have to do certain things, you have to
do tough things to like get far in life, but
I don't know, to enjoy doing it. You kind of
want to like I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
See, I I was willing to put in the work
if I enjoyed it, if I was interested in it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Only if I was interested.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Then I I, okay, I'll apply myself all day. But
if I'm not interested, like I wasn't interested in Pe,
So that's why I didn't go.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
It was extremely interesting, yeah, or.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
That's why I didn't dress out because I'm not interested.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
In this, you know what I mean. But I'm interested
in history.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
So yes, I'll dress up, I'll dress out pe math no,
but yeah, So shout out to the education system. Yeah
that is is it still being dismantled or has it
dismountled yet?

Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
I thought you were going to get the ranch and
to start like that. Screw on the.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Okay, f U s D, c U s D. Actually
shout out to the School of Unlimited Learning. How about
that one?

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
That's where I technically graduated from. And I'm like, I
don't I don't know, honestly.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Yes, fucking soul, I don't know my what is it?

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Your name that?

Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
Or my high school career is like very odd because
some of these classes I never had to do. But
somehow I still like and now I.

Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
Still have a diploma and went to college. I don't know.
I don't know how it happened.

Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
And somehow I was able to take myself out of
high school physically and grandma signed me into independent studies.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
And allegedly your mom didn't know about it. I don't
know how, but allegedly she didn't know about.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Like an emancipated minor. Like that's like the next step
is just being like an adult kid. That's literally what
it is.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Well everyone learn damn right, and everyone enjoyed their first
a couple of weeks or first couple of days of April.

Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
I'm very excited for the weather.

Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
Have easter. Literally this sun, there's no it's four.

Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Plays it up with the easter, buddy, This quaking's weather's
actually supposed to be really nice.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
I will be inside, as will you.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Yes, working, working.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Taking care of the devil, you know, and who knows
where all be tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
God knows which.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
Part I'll be in in the emergency department, but all
be God.

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
I just gave my location. You can work in the
emergency department of like cern. Yeah, like where the hadron
collider is at in like Switzerland. The which one the
hadron collider particles?

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
The physics ohne.

Speaker 3 (01:03:18):
R or c E R. And I'm sorry, that's a
good question. We say that they're the ones that like
broke reality and now like we have like a like
a timeline split.

Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
See that is so far out that I don't understand
that that has to do with like physics a classic
I would not pass.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
I think they would probably be like, are you sure
you want to take physics, they would.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Probably yeah, because that is way too much right there.
I don't even understand.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
What the first law of physics is. What goes up
must come down, some real.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Ship shout shout out to Murphy Lee.

Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
What that wasn't going up? Let's come down? We ain't
playing around its snare. That's really love that song. Shout out,
h where's my snare? We will see you guys. Everyone
stay safe out there. We appreciate you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
And I have no play in my head phone.

Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
He's up?

Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
I have no snare in my head phones. Where's my snare?
I have no snare in my head phone?

Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
Where's my snare?

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Hmm?

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
I have no snare in my head phone. Where's my snare?
I have no snare in.

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
My head phone?

Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
Where is my snare
