Speaker 1 (00:02):
Forgive me for being a day late, but not a
dollar short doing the went CAUs Heart after show here
on jail J Media. I'm James Lott Junior. Obviously we're
going through a lot right now. I've taken in some
relatives who I have lost their homes, a couple of cousins,
so I am dealing with that right now at the
same time. But I did watch our show and I

(00:24):
loved it, and it was it was wonderful and it
was a nice lighthearted episode that push story forward too.
But it was like I had some laugh out loud moments.
I'm so happy. But first I want to say hi
to all the Hardies.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hello you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Thanks for all your messages and supports. And I noticed
some Southern California Hardies out there, so I know you're
going through what I'm going through on some level. But
the ones outside of Southern California, I want to thank
you for all the messages. All my friends and family
outside of California who has been messaging me and asking
me what can they do. Pray first, praying people always

(01:00):
say praying first.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
We'll take that.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
We're still in it. It's not over, and it's it's
hard seeing tragedy around you at the same time. One
of your strategies gonna hit you next, because there's the
fires are not all contained.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
They're not.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
It's not. So we're working it out and everything's been
postponed and canceled and and it's just it's a lot
of stuff going on. It's it's a lot for us
down in Los Angeles. But people in LA are coming together.
I just I love it. I love it. It's a
beautiful thing. I'm seeing it. So no matter what you're
reading anywhere else, we are coming together. We are coming together.

(01:35):
We are we are showing up for you, showing up
for each other. We're showing up. We're showing up for
each other. And how we are we LA is Seriously,
it's like coming it's coming together. All the donation sites
most of them are full. He's a good thing. So
they're saying, call first if you find because I I've

(01:57):
been posting on my social media there a place you
can give I call first. They may be fully maybe
filled up. So it's like you have to make sure.
So what I've been doing, and so folks, people, some
people asked me if they can help me at all,
at all, and what I've been doing is people have
been donating money to me. I have paypals and cash

(02:17):
up and venmo. I can always give you the information
if you d m me uh and I bo. I
was able to buy a piste of water. My cousins
who are displaced to are staying with me. I uh
bought again buy I get them gift cards. I actually
got a couple of gift cards at Christmas, like to
North and R. I was like, you guys, take them.
I don't need any I am blessed beyond believe. I

(02:38):
don't need any more clothes, so I give it to them.
But I was able to go. Someone sent me money.
I was able to go and buy gas cards. So
these are these are also suggestions for you who want
to help anybody not me, or you want to have
other people they need gas cards. I went and got
one hundred dollars in metro passes. Sad friends who like

(03:00):
metro and so either cars got burnt up or al
they need transportation. So it's like I was passing those
out cards for toilet trees, you know, like people need
underwear and socks and and toothpaste. And I got a
lot of hair care products because I have wonderful folks
like Miss Jesse's who always give me products. So I've

(03:21):
been passing some of those out to my ladies who
are displaced, you know, who lost their stuff. So I've
been cooking for people. I've been like coming in, take
a shower, collect yourself, buy on my shoulder kind of things.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
That's what I've been doing.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
So that's I guess that's the if you, like I said,
if you want to give anything to me because you
know who I am or whatever dm ME messaged me,
I will give you my whatever mason you need.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I have PayPal.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I would say, okay, whatever if you want, just if
you want, you have been asking me, and that's what
I've been. I've been paying it forward, just kind of
like as I'm still cleaning up my yard. After I'm
done with this and I'll go back outside. And it's
been a three day project so far. I'm out there
trying to get my garden back together. And tomorrow it's
a trash day for me. So I'm just trying to,

(04:09):
you know, get that all in order. Yes, but the
weather is so far, it's really nice. The winds have
died down. I'm looking outside right now, you can't stay
looking outside. It's actually sixty five degrees so it's not
that bad here. Just keep keep your fingers crossed. But
thank you everybody who's checked in and done that. Think practical,

(04:33):
Thank practical items and things for practical lines you want
to help.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
You on here.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
This is gonna go on for a while. I mean
I think I don't think it's gonna end tomorrow. I
wish it would, but it's not going to even after that.
We have to rebuild and LA will rebuild.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
We will.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
That's a we're strong. I also want to say happy
birthday to Jafon Nat who of course we saw him
in this episode. You get he didn't get a lines.
We saw him, so he's still there. And he's a
young man. He's a young man now it's crazy talk.
He's a friend of the show we've done since he
was a kid. And see some most people, some of
the kids grow up. It's it's it's amazing like in

(05:09):
real life. And I will give a shout out to
my daughter who turned thirty six this week and my
grandson President who turned to their day apart their mother
and son, but a day apart, and I couldn't go
see them because of the fires, so I couldn't leave.
So I am. We did fitty, we did video, but
I'm devastated I couldn't be there for their birthdays. They understand,

(05:29):
of course, but I'm gonna try to see them after
we get some semblance of notice. I hate being separated
from my kids and grandkids. But so you guys know
how that is, so to them. We'll go shout to
them too. Okay, now let's get to the episode itself.
It's episode two for season twelve. I keep seeing season twelve.

(05:51):
I can't believe that. I want to thank you guys
for loving my first episode. I got great, great responses,
Thank you so much, and and I and I think
I want to clear before. I don't want to clear
one thing because I think one person. I wasn't sure
if they were mad at me, or they didn't really
watch my episode or whatever. I just said, it's a
Jack heavy episode, which it was, meaning in a good

(06:12):
way if you listen to my if you watched or
listen to the show, I praised the whole thing. But
Jack Harry meaning it was it was it was Jack heavy,
little Jack, Oh you know it was Jack heavy.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
So I hope people I hope people didn't get I
think I was. I enjoyed it. I was happy. Son up.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Okay, So this episode, of course, now you know, this
is right up my alley kids, it's it is producing
a radio show like this is my This is what
I would. I wish I was back there helping rose mean,
you know, Rosemary is my character. I wish I could
go back and help her. I love that her and
Ned produce it and do it together. It's I It
just I don't know how hard to do these they

(06:49):
put these things together, and how nerve racking and topics,
and this is what I do for a living. So
it's kind of fun to see her go through the
whole episode. So it such it was such a nice,
lighthearted episode that literally did push things forward. You know,
we're doing a doing the Valley Voice radio hour. It's
a big deal, and they're talking. I love hearing these

(07:10):
things like news on the radio, and and that's kind
of that's kind of weird. We gotta find out what
kind of and she's right, you gotta fail. What are
you gonna talk about? What are you talking about? The
things called talking papers they were saying when did she say,
what's next? Music on the telephone? Now? I know almost
you guys chuckled like I did, because you know, you
said the elephant of music, like, yes, girl, it's gonna

(07:35):
be music on the on the on the on the
phone one day. It's kind of fun her rival guy
with his his newspaper starting stuff and her being nervous
about it. And it's any of us who are contact creators.
We know it's happened today. One hundred years later, it
doesn't change. It happens today. I'm glad the show was

(07:55):
a hit. They figured it out. You need a conflict.
We used the comic books. This is a various This
is a very aching storyline, but the comic books are
a big storyline and it's funny comics for kids. That's
I mean, I'm not from the nineteen twenties, so I
guess that must have. I mean, I guess that was

(08:16):
a big deal for that to happen. And it makes
sense because it's you know, futuristic and yeah, pictures. It's
it's like I grew up a company. It's it's such
a foreign concept of something new. They always were around,
so it's kind of like for the show of perspective
for the kids being really into them. That's kind of fun.

(08:38):
But having Florence be the center. But then the comical
part is she's reading them too. How I literally chuckled
out loud. I thought that is hilarious that homegirl was
reading them also. And then it's like I knew and
I knew it. I just thought that was It was
such as it's so much fun. That's what this show
is still giving us fun. I you know, I have

(09:00):
to say they're giving us fun. The comic books again,
come and play when it comes. That was there's some
fun scenes there too at the school uh.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Porthtobi of courseunately into.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Them, and you know, our girls trying to tease some
civics and it was kind of fun. Now me again,
I'm a nature person, man off. You guys know, I'm
the plant daddy. I have the plant father. Whatever words
I'm gonna used.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I love.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
I said, I'm cleaning up my garden now because I've
devastating my gardener's ruined.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I'm trying to clean it up.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I love the shout to nature and and and I
love her questions about you know, let's figure out why
nature has value in our lives and how it affects everything.
It's so I almost kind of got teary eyed because
of what I'm going on here in La. You know,
a lot of our nature got burnt up. There are
trails like in Running and Kaye, so there are famous

(09:54):
trails that are totally burnt up. It can't be used
right now. And it's like, that's what it was. Why
I love Los Angeles because there's lots of nature. Right
you can find nature. I literally went to Nipasadena Arboretum,
so you guys saw I posted it right before the
hot during December, right before I left for New York.
I went with a friend and I said, I was
out there for like two hours.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I loved it.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
It was perfect weather in Los Angeles, of course, and
now passing I say, they're all burnt up. I don't
know to arboretum. I think it's safe, but just still
out there, it's it's devastation around it, and I'm like,
it's nature. It just brings a lot. These are living
creatures that plug the plants and trees and they get
the water. And then looking at how to look at
different animals and just I love that they had the

(10:38):
fun with the kids. There's a lot of kids to
get in the first few episodes. Kid heavy. I like
it going back to basics on some level. On that one,
I loved it. I loved it. I loved it and
figured out of course, and the you know, the language
of the day. It's being very introduced throughout the episode.
But when the kids in the cat's pajamas, you're the cats.
But I was like, oh my god, that is so

(11:00):
I'm I love sayings. I say sayings all the time.
My kids and grandkids and fans laugh when I say,
you know, cheese and crackers and all these things.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
I love sayings I do. I love, I love, I
love those things. So that's just that's me.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Also, so that was that was a fun storyline, also
showing us what a great teacher she is, how and
what that is. Also then we also have the beginning
of may Su and Hickham's marriage, the comical beginning of
them they smiling as they returned about how they did

(11:37):
a great time. Oh, like something wrong. There is something
going on and it doesn't sound right, and then it be
revealed to themselves the audience that everything went wrong, like
everything he did went wrong and I was like, oh boy,
those two. But when they went back to his house
and saw it was a mess, I started I just

(11:58):
started laughing. And I think it was that a rat.
I don't know what was in there. I was like,
I jump when they jumped, I jumped like anand was
in there either. That was hilarious. And the new marriage thing,
here we go, we got a new marriage. We're seeing
different kinds of marriages. You Knowle and Roseman to me
and the best, but we're seeing different kinds of marriages.

(12:18):
And we're seeing we've seen the yost and you know
they'll have they got all the stuff there too. But
now we're seeing these two navigate their way and you
know they're both just tired. They love each other, they're tired.
And the whole thing about who left the window open?
Can we all not relate to that? Can we all
relate to that?

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Right? I say not?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
We all? We can all relate to that. And the
whole ad is almost like the happy life, happy life thing.
By level she's went home, girls say do you want
to be right or do you want to be happy?
And that you know, compromise again, timely, timely, timely, you
know news timely, timely issue use. They're just they're just universal.

(13:02):
They go forever and they make up, of course, and
then they have this great romantic moment which I was like,
thank you when calls a hard for giving us a little,
some little romance showing them going back to where he
proposed and he did in a whole dinner and oh
my god, it's just it's just wonderful. It was just like,
that's that was so cuds. They showed them kidscause I

(13:24):
show the kids. They showed them kiss. That was good too.
That was a fun one. We also have the storyline
of Oliver and you know, very straight laced and you know,
eager Cadets and then really impressing Nathan after an assistance
from Elizabeth. They'll give him a chance, and you know
he's a little much'll give him a chance, give them
some give him, give him a win. And he took

(13:47):
to the he took to this organized I see organs.
I'm an organizer also. He took to the organizing job
and I was like looking at it when he had it,
also was like, oh yeah, he did a good job.
That was very cool. And Ted invite him to the
little makeshift pot Luck was very cute having them all together,
and you know him and Allie, you are you know

(14:08):
we know something gonna happen there, right, we are, right,
we know something gonna happen there. Right. We know that
they're leading to that, right, Yeah, we need a young love.
We need a young love, right. I have a feeling
they're gonna be it. And I I you know, I
love the character Alie because she is she. I would
say that actress is soga. I said it last time.
She's so good. And the other thing about her is
she's actually very well defined character. In all these years,

(14:31):
she's a well defined character, and she and she can
step into a lead in a story. And her trying
to find herself's not She's not Emily, She's not this person.
She's not Angela, like she doesn't which she wants to do.
I think I kind of like that that she's you know,
we're gonna hopefully we're gonna watch her find herself. But
she's like who talks with Elizabeth and talks to her dad?

(14:52):
You know, just I think it's very cool. She's a
she's a character who has a little sass to her.
Love it, but we know that her and Oliver go
in that direction. We know that, right, that's fun. The
part that made me laugh the most the most is Lee,

(15:13):
Edwin and Lucas. Oh my god, Lee had shade for days.
Oh it was so shady, it was cold, there was
there was no sunlight nothing. He was not given Edwin
an inch and I was. I was here for it.
I laughed so hard and that all both those exchanges.
He was not having it. But it comes from a

(15:34):
place of like, you know this, I don't trust. This
guy left you when you needed him the most. But
then I understand Lucas, who's like, this guy's good and
he he can. I'd rather have him on my side.
So Lucas is going through his own thing. It was
like three things converging. Once Edwin being slimy when he
come back in Lee kind of really wanted this part

(15:55):
project and work with Lucas is fine, but he doesn't trust.
You don't trust is Edwin? Dude, He's not really about that.
And then Lucas going, Okay, I want to help the people.
I want to help my constituency, my constituency, but I
also want to help my politics and my who you
know who I'm liking. They mentioned of Rich Havy, the Irwins,

(16:16):
I don't know who they are, and they mentioned maybe
they'll come on later. We got a new character, Adie
Martels and the Caliban's Association, which is obviously a real thing.
And it was a really interesting talk Dad about which
made sense.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
It was great.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
It was actually great writing, folks. But I used to
work at Farmannagg so great writing. But the ranchers and
how they needed growth in land size and how just
saved them last year, and these are things are still timely.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
But the park takes up so much space.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
But apparently when the retook they asked I was gonna
ask the question, but then they already asked, like, well
when the resort wasn't there five but the resort was
way over somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I get.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
I guess, so this park now it's between a sliver
and this. I mean, like they would have cut the park,
and LEAs is like not having it. Lea's not having Edwin,
He's not having He went off on Lucas. He went
off on I was I was like oop, but he
wasn't completely wrong. He's like, why waste I'm going home wan,
waste of my time? Why am I here. So is

(17:21):
it imploding when they work it out? I don't know,
but it's like, but that was a good conflict. And
they said move story forward because what is Lucas going
to do? Can't win everybody? We all know that he
can't win everybody? Well what is he going to do?

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Right? So good conflict? I like that. Correct.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
I can try to tell people. I can try to
tell men this show has stories for you too. It's
like to come in and get this some good and
some good stories there Peking of working together. We got
Henry and Joseph. What a beautiful story they have. They're
they're kind of road time. They really they have shown

(18:01):
us over seasons how they've come together and become friends.
And they again great to the writer's character developments. They
really have done this what unlikely duo?

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Right?

Speaker 1 (18:15):
And and these I'm sorry kids, I'm not into hazel nuts.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Hazelt coffee. I'm not into hazel nuts at all.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
But I had a law because I was like, but
they're but the hazel nuts bad has helped the kids
pick the hazel lesson you get them comic books, and
the combooks come into that storyline. But also you know
Joseph's pushing this business thing, and Henry's kind of like,
I want to keep things simple. So we've seen Henry,
Henry Gowan, he has literally changed since we first met

(18:48):
him to now all these seasons, he's at a place
of peace. He seems more peaceful, he seems more relaxed.
We see him smiling more like wow, So he's really
he's really at a different place, right. But Joseph's like,
we got it. We should, we should make some money.
We can make it easy. So those two coming together,
I'm very I'm very happy about that. I hope will

(19:10):
I hope it really does work out. Shout out to Goldie,
who is so cute, little baby. She's so cute, she's
so cute, she's so adorable. Little Jack of course. Okay,
the last, the last thing I need to mention from
this is, oh yeah, hello, can't miss The big thing

(19:30):
I noticed with the Nathan and Listener storyline wisely there
are they're their leads the show. They're fine. They have
no conflict or anything right now. It's more just kind
of like they're moving, moving around. Nathan is working some
stuff out, but they're not no major conflict. It's really nice,
but I know it's a lot of flirtation, a lot

(19:52):
of flirting, a lot of flirtation that I said at ten times.
I was like, they're really, they're really adding that in there. Now,
that a little bit in there. So if you're a
Nathan Lizbeth fan, you must be just like going book
wild out there.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
It was so happy.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
I've noticed that there's a lot of you know, flirting
and and loving and kind of just like, you know,
I'll walk you here and this is over here. We're
doing this. They're talking more. There's like there's no secrets,
they're like they're just they're talking. Nathan of course has
that goofy charm. It's like, okay, I'm like there, I
just noticed that this episode, especially last week, they're doing

(20:26):
a lot of that. And this episode especially it was
a lot of flirtation and everything. So I thought, very
very cool we did that, and yeah, and then Lee
came home for Rosemary and they had a little moment.
So overall fun stuff. So they had some slapsticky stuff
in the beginning with Oliver and the fruits they were

(20:47):
following with maybe they really made me laugh out loud.
I think I think, uh, that was kind of fun
with some comedy.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
I thought was this was this is a fun episode.
This was fun.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
And I'm glad because there's twelve episodes, right, and I
know that the show in the past has done a
great job with okay, beginning show light heavy, light heavy,
and they usually usually follow that kind of that that
kind of trajectory, so and I like thing, it's something
as you to break for me, I needed a light
episode just because I'm what I'm going through down here.

(21:24):
I needed a nice fun episode, but again moving story forward,
which I think they did. That's my review for What
Caused the Heart Episode twelve, Episode two, season twelve.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Take care of yourselves out there, folks.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Hide To all the administrators on the Facebook page, I
love you guys, thanks for letting me post on there
as usual. And shout out to everyone in the world
out there watching all the heart Ease. I appreciate you.
You follow me at James Lot. Junior's supposed to be
a platforms and I guess that's it. I'm okay, we're
hanging out okay in La. I'm goa go outside now

(22:00):
and do the rest of my yard and clean up.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
I'll talk to you next Monday,
