Speaker 1 (00:02):
Aartise, Hearty's Hardy's, I am so sorry. Obviously, I've had
a lot going on. On Saturday night, I was like,
I feel like I forgot to do something last week
or this was this week. Guy said this. I was like,
something's missing, but my friend I forget to do and
it hit me. I didn't do a reaction. Episode three.
(00:28):
I looked like shack because I thought I had done
did it, but I didn't didn't do it. So I
was like, Okay, well, then, well the new episode comes
out tomorrow, so I guess I'll do three and four together.
But you know what, I don't want to do that
because some of you guys watched this later, or some
of you guys go back and watch the season over
and like to go episode to episode like I do.
(00:51):
Episode deserves their every episode deserves their own episode. How
many times can I say episode, Oh my god, James, time,
let me, let me have some coffee, and it's time
to wake up. So I'm a little late and putting
this out. Episode four will be out tomorrow, so I'm
(01:13):
gonna do I'm doing them separately, so right they have that.
I have my notes and my notes to separate episodes
so I'm so sorry. I I'm I don't think I've
ever done it for him in the ten years i've
been doing this. Well, I literally just forgot to do it. Hi, guys.
We had rain, I think it, so three be off
two we had rain in La. Finally we had rain.
(01:36):
Now unfortunately it flooded my service Boks. So I'm dealing
with that right now. Like I just but you know,
I have a house still, so it's good. I'm like,
I just, you know, wen't win for lose sometimes there
you go, right, well, we're doing okay, we're doing good.
I'm laughing because I'm crazy. I don't know, but I'm
(01:56):
I'm I'm alive, all right. I'm so three was called
all back glitters and a lot of kids stuff or
I just say older kids stuff, and I know the
next episode it carries into that. So we got some
they're using the kids this season. They did just feel
like a couple of seasons they were using the kids
that much. Hardy ever, but they're using the kids, so
(02:21):
I kind of like that. They're the next generation, right,
They're they're coming up of age and and Ali's tweeking seventeen.
Opal is like growing up before our eyes. It's just
it's just so, it's it's right, it's crazy. It's like
your own family. My granddaughter turns a certain age next month,
and I'm like, no, no, it's my granddaughter. No no, no, no, no.
Doesn't work. So they give the kids like their little
(02:45):
kids been a Valley voice all about them hazel nuts.
So this season sounds like the hazel nuts are the
prop of the century because the hazel nuts are used
later in a comic hallway later with Lee and Lucas
and his office where you filled the hazel that boxes.
So it's kind of yeah, the hazel nuts. Damn, oh
(03:08):
my god. I want to show you this. Get it?
You find it right away. So here's just funny. The
kids open with a kazoo. Three weeks ago, I was
in New York with a client, and my client gave
me a kazoo. How we use this thing? I have
(03:30):
a kazoo. I sallowed it. I go, I have one
that he just my client just was passed off kazoos.
I don't know why I have one. So Ali talks
to her dad. She wants to Nation's twenty seventeen. She
wants as old comical exchange fun. The writing has been
a lot of fun this season so far, too very
(03:53):
snappy fun writing, really really funny stuff. So writers, good
job with that. But she wants to do a friend
just just friends now a sleep boat and eye of
this which plays in the episode four of course, but
at this stage she wants to want a friend thing.
And but she also brings up, which is kind of true,
(04:17):
that Elizabeth and Nathan have not been on a normal date.
We haven't seen them on a normal day. They were
on that picnic we have seen on with the kids.
As she brings that up, but we have seen it
on a normal date. I'm like, oh yeah, we haven't.
Not really not funny that we haven't seen that. Then
you other various girls talking about in Angeline, I'm talking
about dating like this is crazy. Why do I feel
(04:39):
all of a sudden great paternal like, like what are
we talking about? I'm just like this is this is
these are the we've we've invested in. Some of these kids,
they were on the show, so they were little. You're like, well, like,
what what's good dating? No that I'm a girl dad,
you know, I got two daughters, So I'm like, no,
want to do that? Uh, cut to you, Oliver, we
(05:04):
get we get a big revelation in this episode about him.
I like him, He's a cool character. I'm curiously what
happens with him. Uh, it's time for his one month
Priory Portman, like Hart Grade is gonna come back and
ask and he's just like doing great and everything else,
but in reading and writing, he's just not good. So
Nathan is telling this to you, Elizabeth, and I'm I'm
(05:25):
glad this's Beth said this because my thought thinking, well,
he put all that stuff together. Reading and writing are
two different methods, are two different things. I on a
side note, I know of like for me, uh, I'm
bi Linguis and Spanish. I can read Spanish very well.
(05:45):
I can understand it very well, speaking it and writing
it sometimes with two different things. I have a lot
of friends who are who are Spanish Spanish is said,
who don't can't write it. They could read it, but
the're not gonna write a whole a whole end. So
I'm glad that Elizabeth brought that up. And there's two
different things. So that explains why he's still good at
(06:06):
organizational skills. You can we can read on some level,
but just like it's but she's like, it's kind of
like fourth grade, fifth grade level. We find out later
about him is a guy named Jed who has his
owld Old shop, who's happy about this stand of the kids,
the HAZELU stand and Mollie is there's something brewing there,
(06:26):
like because I'm ready for Molly to have a romance.
She deserves one, my girl. The romance. Ned finds his
coin at first rests the episode. They just start to
coin that much. I was like, Naicey's leading into something later,
but I was like, well, I mentioned the coin a
couple of times that I was. It was a double
headed eagle coin. It's very rare. Rosemanws turned into a story.
(06:49):
Also want to find the shop and other shopper had
it and wants to find the shopper so he put
it in the paper to get something gone. Now we
have the whole Edie Martel story with Lucas. Of course,
the writing sharp, it's crisp, and the banter. Yes, I
see some chemerati in two of them. I mean, I
think she's married, but are somethings going on there? And
(07:14):
she's she is, She's just call her a shark. She's
getting all the votes, everything behind the scenes really hurting
Lucas Edwin. Of course, I know Edwin's one of those
characters that the action is playing was doing a great
job because you just he's so smarty, you just don't
like him. But I like him on the show because
he gives he's something different shown. He's really funny. And
(07:38):
there's a whole thing going on there. And because they
the calib association is I guess, so she's getting votes
from lo the commissioners. It's making it harder for Lucas.
I get this this land going and there's a funny
part which is kind of like today. The reporters want
to know because Janette's tryal I got what I forgot
(08:00):
about her. I love how they're they're forwarding, you know,
they continuing the stuff going on still that would go on,
but her trial's coming up, and I love that they're
attacking Lucas and because he was he was related to
her so to speak, And all the reporters were out
there and that was a funny. That's a funny moment.
Not anybody get on the stuff there, all of her
(08:22):
lies to Elizabeth says, he went to Brian Cliff and
Cliff and in Hamilton, and I knew homegirls gonna call
and figure up find outs. I knew something was up
with that because he was looking like he was guilty.
I'm so glad. Here is the part that I'm so
glad they're they they're doing the thank you writers Bill
and Rosemary. Billy and Rosemary are unexpected Gold. Remember we
(08:47):
were like last week, We're like, wow, where did that
come from? They are unexpected Gold. I'm so glad they're
doing another mystery together. But you know well about that
in a second. But at first anybody is hiding something
from from her about Lee, which you find out later
what that is too. But it's facing rose Grade, not
(09:07):
being left out. My girl Pascal is so good. It's
don't be left out. One of the one's going on.
Everybody's hide. Faith is hiding that he he asked for
an appointment. She he's you know, all this stuff's hiding,
hiding going on. It's really funny, uh Adie Martel and Lucas.
You know her train. I love those trains back then.
(09:29):
I wish the trains were still. I ride the trains
all the time. I wish in some level they had
the like old World experience and you know, nappings on
the table and tablecloths, and I just I love riding
the train. I think it's it's a lot of fun
and it was kind of cool to see them in
close quarters having to deal with each other. And I guess,
(09:50):
you know, we rippertee and then we got so then
Elizabeth calls an old buddy over line and so, but
you know, I didn't think it was anything. I didn't
think he was trying to get one over on people
on purpose. I never thought that that character isn't didn't
didn't give me that. So he resigns, Yeah, he lied.
(10:16):
Nathan feels tied to the os they took that he's
they alon't say they took him. That's not English foulks,
that he took as a mounting. But he knows the
kid is really good. And Elizabeth reminds him he's a
kid and we're here to take care of him, which
is the wind cast the heart way of course, right,
Nick can't get into him, and she's like, I'm his teacher,
(10:40):
that's right. Girls. She's like, I'm going to die. I'm
gonna take over this part. Nathan, but he is conflicted
and and a good way. It's it's like I understand
what he's gonna come to on some level, but I'm
more like a listen, we're gonna work this out somehow,
because you know it's been over. They just they talk
and she's like, I would try to help him, like
(11:00):
I have, I get a lesson plan together and try
to help him out this whole thing. But for him,
for Nathan, it's like, what do I say to Hard Graves?
I can't. I don't want to lie. I don't know
I want to lie to him. What can we say?
And I gotta say Bill talks to Nathan. I love
their friends and I love Bill. The character Bills so good.
I'm glad that history line is wrapping up because I
was like, where's Bill? What's he doing? He tells Nathan
(11:24):
in a way, he's like the older brother kind of
like you can still tell hard Graves all the great things,
but you know there's certain things you can leave out,
you know, O myths that are not lies, just what
he needs to know. He's in your care. He's in
your charge. Do you think he would make a good mounting? Basically?
(11:44):
And he's like yeah, So it's like I loved I
loved Bill's kind of you know, and he saw them
file I was like, we're gonnat Oliver fends it's great.
I just love that Bills. It's like, you know, there
are ways around things that aren't being dishonest, but they're
but they're just you don't some things are I need
to know be so I understand later. It's one of
those things where you know you asked for h you
(12:07):
just do it, yes, for forgiveness later or whatever you're
asks later. That whole saying. I love it. I'm good
with that. But there's a whole funny thing with Rosemary
and Elizabeth following Lee because he seemed he and hick
him because he seems so mysterious. I love that everybody's
(12:30):
calling him hick him this episode. I'm an old school
o g hardy. He is all he will always be
hickem He's not Mike. He's Hicckham. That's what he is.
And I just I just it's always hard for me
called Mike. It's like it's Hike, um. So I love
that everybody's call him that. They have a hilarious whole
set of scenes and the Beekeeper hats everything. They follow
them and they find out it's actually something really sweet
(12:54):
that you know. Hickam tells them what happened with Lucas,
the whole thing of how it's they changed in the parks.
It's been small and all this, all this stuff, and
so Lee was like, I just want to put something
down for us to show Lucas import it is. And
he had a sign made and says Goldie trail and
(13:15):
that actually, I almost my little tear to mind. That
was very sweet. I thought, that's very sweet. Oh my god,
And but oh my god, Rosemary is hilarious. She was like,
that's so nice, and you know, so you know, you're
so handsome, and she's all getting in long getting into
it was turning. It was turning her on. I said,
I loved it. But the way they did it was
so was respectful, but it was like funny and this
(13:36):
was like time for us to go, and they're like
it was I just started. It was the whole that
whole sequence was really cute and funny and playful. I
loved it. And just I mean Lee and Rosemary in
the pest and then Kevin and potsaconach great great easy chemistry.
Just love it. Meanwhile, Earl Wyatt returns grown up returns
(13:59):
almost like I used to but used to believe me
when I was a kid with that brown berry, Remember
that's and all that stuff, and Allie's Smitten's just smitt kidding.
But I thought, well, isn't Ali into Oliver. We have
a young triangle against some young love happening and a triangle
I don't know. I was like, okay. I also noticed
(14:20):
lots of bikes. There are a lot of bikes in
this episode, so we alllay have the cars. I'm seeing
less horses. Are you too? You seeing less horses, more bikes,
and more and and and more cars, and going to
that town is getting busier and busy. But I saw
(14:41):
a lot of bikes. To mention that Lucas comes down,
he was he just I don't like that Lucas and
Lee are fighting. I don't like it. It makes me mad,
makes me sad, because he could tell he wants he
wants to Lee back in this good leaves, good graces,
and Lea's hall is not happy. He is snarky and
(15:04):
the shade is real. I was chuckling. The shade is real.
Alice hazy Let said he did that on purpose. He
couldn't put up his office. It was hilarious. So when
he was at the at the cafe, my girl Mini
just spends in that wisdom of course, you know, talks
to him. But also there's only one seat left and
(15:25):
it's Eedie who's there too, so didn't do something to
gainst someone there, And we find out some really interesting
stuff at the very end. I thought it was really interesting.
So Oliver his foster family, last foster, and he wouldn't
him go to school. They listen, it's just a farm hand. Basically,
they wouldn't him go. And so when we saw the
(15:48):
opportunity to join the Mounties, he lied, but he wanted
to get out of there. He wanted he wanted to
go and do something good. So his intention was kind
of like I said, it was good. The tension behind
it was good, and it was you know, and back then,
I guess, you know, some people know the education was important,
so they're like, here's a farm hand. That's it. Well
that's kind of sad. So Nathan takes everybody's advice in,
(16:13):
he takes Elizabeth and Bill's and everybody, and when heart
Graves comes, gives a growing re view, but just says
you know some reading and writing needs something. Writing and
stuff needs some some work. But we will work on him.
But I think you one thing, with my help, he
will be he'll be a great mounting. So our graves
accept it and says, you know, you have another month
(16:35):
before the check in. Have one month for not check in.
That's good. That's that's good. That's really good. Uh. And
if I would lee, we find out that he's in
great shape, you go see faith. But his dad died
at his age. So I have a little side, quick,
(16:55):
little side story. I have a friend I'm not gonna
say his name by a friend who his father died
at forty and his grandfather died at forty, so him
and his brother were both very nervous. They died the
same thing. They were both very nervous as they reached
their fortieth birthdays. My friend was first since then him
(17:17):
and his brother passed it of age forty. But he
said he got They felt it was kind of irrational
to be nervous about it, like, well, just everybody's different,
you know whatever. But she said, you can't help it.
You get a little nervous because it's been playing in
your head so long, and those losses are very serious
losses that makes you look at a life. For me,
(17:38):
my family they don't live a long time. My mother
side didn't live a long time either. They just they
dropped it. They dropped dead. Just they all dropped dead.
My mother almost dropped dead last year. So I know,
I know how that it's weird. She's like one of
the oldest people in the family now because all we
have nobody above her really except for my one aunt.
And she almost dropped you. So it makes me as
(17:59):
I getting older, as I'm letting heading into my late fifties,
I'm looking around a little bit too, and I'm trying
not to hold onto that. And it's but he gets
but I get it. But also you can use it
for something for good and for my friend, he decided
to go back to school and his masters and he
did that, he completed that, so like he just so
I used it as something that's like a propelling him
(18:20):
forward thing Like well, I mean, if I go at
forty or dope, there are things I want to do,
and that's how I do too. I want to do
things also that I want to do, and so that's
why leaves will get into a will you think about
his future as the daughter. Now it all makes sense.
I can totally all it makes sense. So I kind
of like that. That was that was actually very cool
to help out. And then Roseman and Bill they're exchanged
(18:44):
again gold unsolved case for the coins, and so twenty
thousand coins were stolen. They could go into this whole thing,
and he called it, we can uncover the Great Rocky
Mountain Train Robbie ninety seven. I'm in and and in
in in. I can't wait to see them work together again.
(19:06):
I'm ready and at the very end feeling really cute.
Nathan Elizabeth on a horse in the fields, longingly living,
looking hr lovingly in a sunset, right off into the sunset.
That was a little mini date. But still we ain't
seen my little date date. Don't see that. That's my
(19:27):
little review of episode episode three of season twelve. All
that glitters great episode. I said. The writing is just
sharper this season. I really I really enjoying the writing.
It's a lot of fun. Let's give faith the storyline.
Let's see whatything happens with her. I want to see
her in a storyline. Let's say what about her? We
(19:48):
need the ca I guess it can't feels will have
a story. I guess because Joseph was starting, but I
want to leave for many and I guess we'll get
more kids episode four, which I'll be doing that one next.
I'm James Junior. You can follow me the James Engnior
everywhere on everything. I'm on everything or j Everywhere also
on everything, everywhere, everything everywhere, all at once. I love
(20:13):
you guys. I love the heartys. More to come. Episode
four will be next. Take care of everybody,
