those off days today, but I'mhere and we've got a great guest tonight.
So we've been really active at Busylately, so getting on the roll
and getting getting going has been kindof a It's been a crazy couple of
(01:06):
days. So what is new andexciting in the falls? Well, unfortunately,
there's usually something always new and excitingin the falls, it's just not
what you want to talk about. No, I don't know. You know,
there's been some stuff, but hewas kind of sick and she's better
now. And we're getting excited becausewe have Billy's baby shower coming up,
(01:27):
um this weekend. So I'm goinga little crazy trying to plan that.
I mean, we'll get everything readyin that plan. We're past planning what
else. Um, well, thereis something cool. I can't say too
much yet, but dot dot dotum. So a few days ago,
(01:49):
found out um talking you know withmy peeps from When Darkness Walls you guys
know that show that I'm that I'vebeen, we've been well now we've been
filming it for almost two years, good year and a half, and found
out that there's going to be somechanges, some very exciting positive changes and
(02:15):
transitions coming our way with that.So our hard work is paying off and
we are super excited for what thefuture is going to hold. And unfortunately
that's all I can say for rightnow because nothing's efficial yet. So so
we actually might be able to seesome of these locations finally. Right well,
I think it has been a frustrated, well you have it, but
it's been a frustrating road because itwas supposed to air about a year ago
(02:38):
and then fortunately, you know, the the channel was supposed to be on,
you know, they kind of cutthere were some cutbacks on the kinds
of shows that they put out there, which it's a business. You know,
we get it, We understood. But now we have a whole bunch
of locations filmed and under our beltand ready to go pretty much so and
you guys have been working really hard. Tomma need have been working really hard
to get things ready. So yeah, it'll be good. I'm super excited
(03:01):

cool, and we also got tosee some of the h the other show
(03:46):

awesome forts up there as well. But they have the uh what do you

get up there and I couldn't.Um and George Takai was running around all
over and you never know when youknow Shatner is going to pop up there,
and he's friends of Um Paul,So you never know who's gonna be.

He Um and I were actually Facebookfriends for going on a couple of years
(09:58):
now, and we had the chanceto meet him in person last year at
Michigan Paracon. And I'm just gonnaget my whining out of the way now
because we're not going to shore andjust so I've been a baby about it
all week for all good reasons.Got to focus on the family. It's
(10:18):
fine, but I'm like, oh, I'm really good. I was going
I really wanted to go. Okay, so we're not going to Well it
was it was worth the whole restof the weekend. I mean, I
can just torture you for ten hours. It's not a big deal. However,
um No, he was so funnyand he what a good guy too,
(10:39):
because I'll tell you he Um.We first walked into the casino at
Paracon last year and he was talkingto just like two other people and at
me being me, I always justsay hello, even if it's just a
quick dinner off and then keep goingand I was like, are you Tim
Mail? And the look of sheerhorror on this poor man's face was like
(11:01):
I just felt like I had justlike beaten him and just said the worst
things about his mother. It washysterical. I was like, oh my
god, I forget sometimes I couldbe a little forward. No, I
thought you were muted. But itwas really cool because it was it's exciting
(11:22):
to meet people in person when yousee them, and um, he's a
really great guy. I follow himon Facebook. He has a background in
paranormal investigation in paranormal in general, which I did not realize it first either.
But what really really got my attentionwas his personal spiritual journey and story,
which is really especially what we wanthim to share tonight. He's a
(11:43):
fantastic guy. He has a heartof gold. Um, so let's bring
him on and welcome him. TimMail, Hi, Tim sir? You
doing That's good? No pressure?Yeah? Um but yeah when when you
said hello to me last year,um, yes I was. I was
(12:07):
very surprised that does that doesn't happento me very well? Yeah? So
uh but yeah, thank thank youfor that, and thank you for having
me, and I'll try to liveup all right, Yeah, thank you
for joining us. This is great. Yeah, So tell us a little
bit about yourself, your background.Uh well, I'll start with the paranormal
(12:31):
stuff. I guess. Um,I bought this house in two thousand and
six. I was thirty one yearsold, so if you do the math,
I'm forty seven now, and uhit hurts when I wake up.
It's older than me, So that'sokay. But yeah, so I moved
in here when I was thirty oneand never had anything go on in my
(12:52):
life as far as ghost, spirits, paranormal, any of that stuff.
And uh, I moved here andI was going through some issues which we're
probably going to get into, butwithin like a week or two, I
had voices and footsteps and bangs onthe wall and and uh, you know,
thirty one years old and never havingdealt with any of that before.
(13:15):
The first thing I did was calledmy mom and she wanted me, you
wanted me to see what it was. And I said some colorful things to
my mother and told her I wasnot comfortable doing that. But life has
changed a lot since that, sincethat happened, And you know, I'm
(13:37):
giving you the cliffs Notes version Buteventually I found the show ghost Hunters because
of my love of of wrestling. There was wrestling on side. Yeah,
there was a commercial for ghost Huntersand I DV yard it and the next
thing you know, I'm looking atthis going, holy crap, there's people
that do this. I was completelynaive to the entire few. And I
(14:01):
started watching the shows and watching documentaries, and I got myself every book I
could on the subject, and itjust buried myself in it. And it
wasn't because I wanted to start ateam. It was because, you know,
I'd signed a thirty year mortgage andI wanted to make sure that I
could live in this home. Butafter about a year of that and trying
(14:24):
to contact other teams that never gotback to me, the light bulb went
off and I looked at a buddyof mine and I said, I think
it's I think this is what I'msupposed to do. So we started the
Paranormal Team Fox Citi's Paranormal Team intwo thousand and eight. And the whole
reason for that was we're gonna helplessfamilies that aren't getting return emails, return
(14:45):
calls, and we're gonna make themnot feel like they aren't worth our time.
And you know, it led towhere we are today, and I
don't know where that is, butit's it's uh, you know, since
it all started in late two thousandand six, it's been a hell of
her ride. I will say that, did you ever learn anything about Some
(15:11):
years later, I did work withScottie Rourke, fantastic medium, on a
residential case, and he came tothe house before that, and that was
the first time we had ever met, and he was sitting in my living
room and he looked at me andhe said, your dad wants me to
tell you something, but I'm notsure that you want me to in front
of everybody. I was going througha really tough time at that point in
(15:35):
my life. And you know,we'll talk about Murray as the as the
interview goes on, But there wasa night specifically where Murray would not come
near me, and he was upstairsand he was looking at me in the
walking closet and just shaking like alittle chihuahua. But he was like he
was a fat pit lab. Hewas. I'd like to call him big
(15:58):
enough. I don't know how toif he ever was. But that night
in particular though a lot of myfamily had said, you know, it's
probably your dad, and he's probablythey're just watching out for you. And
I turned to my left where Murraywas staring, and I said, I'm
gonna be okay, Dad, youcan go. You know you're scaring the
dog. And it's the biggest lieI ever told him, my dad.
(16:21):
But with that, Murray was fine. We went outside, he went to
the bathroom, we went to bed, and Scotty looked at me in my
living room and he said, yourdad's upset that you told him to leave,
and not knowing anything about what Ihad experienced in my house, that
was all the the verification that Ineeded. And then all of a sudden,
(16:42):
there was nothing to worry about becauseit's my dad, and you know,
there's nothing to be afraid of.And quite honestly, I have the
greatest relationship with my dad now. He's shown up on investigations and helped us.
I lost my when I was veryyoung. When I was eight years
(17:02):
old, he got hit by atruck and was in a coma for six
and a half years. I passedaway when I was fifteen, so it's
been a very long time and Iwas angry at the at the world for
a really long time and I kindof pushed away religion because of that,
and getting involved with the paranormal broughtme back to a point where I'm spiritual
(17:26):
now. I believe in things. And even though it's a really crappy way
to have it all happened, itwas all meant for a reason. And
you know, life is life ispretty incredible right now. And yeah,
I owe a lot of that tothe paranormal field. That's amazing. Well,
(17:47):
I mean you are doing some prettywonderful things. Well I appreciate you
saying that, but yeah, I'mthe best deflector in the world and all
of them I don't know about that. All the good things that we are
able to do, Um, reallystarts with Murray, you know. It's
(18:07):
Uh. I love being able tocome out shows like this. I get
to tell Murray's story. I neversay it's mine. Um, it's always
Murray's story. And uh, yeah, I'm getting a chance to do that
against to Night's pretty special. That'samazing. And I am just for full
disclosure and just because I like you, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Um, I've never heard this storyyet you might want to go get some
(18:30):
queenex um. Sorry, so Ithink you talk what your talk was at
like nine am last year. No, they had me on Thursday. I
was at I was Thursday after.Oh that's why we missed it or we
had just gotten in. That's whatwas because I know Mike did want to
try to catch as much as wecould as soon as we got there,
and I was in too much painwith my knee and it was too tired
(18:52):
and I couldn't. So you wereone of like two maybe three that we
did not catch. Um. SoI apologized for that. It was just
bad timing. We were coming awayand from where we know where we were.
But so I am very eager, but just getting to know you in
general, I am super excited. And that's why I just know with everything
you do how important your story isin your journey. Thank you, because
(19:12):
we all have a personal journey inyour right it takes. We don't realize
what we go through how it reallyshapes and molds us if we let it
in the positive, no matter hownegative it can be. So I think
that's really important for people to hear. I mean, when when I started
telling this story and I'll jump intoit if you don't mind. But I
(19:34):
didn't realize how many people this wouldresonate with. UM. I didn't realize
how many people had their stories andtheir murray and it really opened up a
door to just be a voice forthe people that are afraid to talk about
it. Maybe I was naive, but I didn't see that coming. And
(19:56):
the first event that I did whereI really told my story, you know,
I had a lying to people ata table and you know, you
know what happened last year when yousurprised me. Um. You know,
you come back from speaking line ofpeople at your table and you're not used
to that. It's unless you're TimSeawan, you're never at your table.
So then you know, I haven'tseen him yet, I know, but
(20:19):
you know I have to get itin there because you know, sorry,
go ahead, UM. Before Istarted telling the story, one of my
favorite UM, one of my favoritememories from the Paranormals being at an event
with Tim Shaw in Michigan and theyhad rented a cottage for all of the
speakers, so it was kind oflike real world paranormal first, like,
(20:47):
that's really cool, and then I'mthinking, oh, I'm not so sure
that we had all gathered around thedining room table. There's like twelve of
us and we were just drinking andtelling stories and just all became very good
friends. On any laughs that wehad. Um, we got to the
point where Tim Shaw smacked his faceoff the table. He was laughing so
(21:07):
hard and he stood up and hegoes, he stood up and he goes,
I'm done. I'm done. I'mgoing to bed, and uh and
that was the end of it.But we've been great friends since that day.
So um, oh, I wishI could have seen that. It
was a great time and uh,like I believe Dan Class was there,
(21:30):
myself, Todd Arnold, which I'lltalk about Todd Um later in the show.
But yeah, if you don't mind, I'll jump into the Murray story.
I got my tissues. Yeah.I mentioned that I moved into this
house in two thousand and six,and when I moved in here, I
had just gotten out of a horriblebreak up and going through a lot of
(21:53):
things personally. I was in avery dark place depression and anxiety. And
we didn't really call it anything atthat time. It was it was just,
you know, I feel awful aboutmyself in the world, and most
days I wake up and I don'twant to be here. That's how I
felt. But I knew that Iwanted to get a dog. It was
(22:15):
my first opportunity to get a dog. And I had looked online and I
found a pit lab mix that hadbeen rescued from a home and the previous
owners had beaten him. They hadactually tried to tear his tail off,
so he was never never able towag his tail. They had done some
nerve damage and I had to begthem to come in to let me come
(22:38):
in and see him, because itwas a man that did this, and
they swore up and down the heatand't like man. And the famous line
I used on them was I amno normal man. So uh, they
let me come and meet him,and my tongue really hard on that one.
Yeah, thank you. And theywalked down this hall of kennels and
(23:03):
they let Murray out of the kenneland he went the wrong way. And
if anybody ever met Murray, thatwas him, because he never did anything
right the first time. But theyturned him around and this little puppy that
wasn't supposed to want anything to dowith me came running and jumped into my
arms, and that was the start. That was the beginning of the most
beautiful story. Got Murray home andinstantly he was seeing and hearing the things
(23:29):
that I was hearing. I'll neverforget. I got him in the house
for the first time, and Iheard footsteps going up the stairs, and
Murray followed them up and stood onthe landing and watched them walk into the
bedroom. And it sounds silly, but for the first time in months,
I didn't feel crazy anymore. Youknow, there was another living being that
was experienced in this, and webonded very quickly. It was early two
(23:56):
thousand and seven. I don't rememberthe exact day, which is probably a
good defense mechanism because I think itwould just drive me crazy. But I
had gotten to the point where Ididn't want to be here anymore, and
I felt like nobody else wanted mehere either. I sat in my bathroom
(24:17):
with the biggest knife I had inthe house, and I went through each
family member and friend one by one, and I came up with the reason
why I shouldn't be here, Andas I was about to do the unspeakable,
I felt something on my left arm, and I looked down and there
was Murray and he was looking upat me with his beautiful brown eyes.
(24:38):
And I dropped to the floor andI hugged him for about an hour.
It snapped me out of it.When you're in that position and in that
mindset, there's no rational thought, there's none. Your mind has taken over
at that point, and your bodyis trying to do everything it can to
(24:59):
destroy you. And if he hadn'twalked in, I'm certain I wouldn't be
here today. From that moment on, he and I were not owner and
dog. We were father and son. And I lived every day to thank
him. As a matter of fact, every day I would reach down and
I would whisper in his ear thankyou. And we were as close as
(25:21):
close could be. I started toget more opportunities in the paranormal in two
thousand and thirteen. In twenty twelve, I had filmed for Paranormal Witness and
there was a little bit of buzzabout that, and I started to get
offers to come in in twenty thirteenand speak at some conferences. And you
(25:42):
know, you know, by goingto those events, they give you a
table, and I had nothing youknow, and that wasn't a big deal
for me. I didn't you know, it wasn't It didn't hurt my feelings.
I didn't have anything. But Iremember saying to myself, you know,
there's got to be something we cando with that space. And that's
how autographs Rapuchez was born. Cameup with the idea. It was real
(26:03):
simple in the beginning. You know, I'm gonna have pictures of Murray and
I and I got a stamp uphis paw, which is still right here.
I got a stamp up his paw. Would we would photograph the photos
and then I would personalize them andwe would sell them for ten dollars.
And I remember the first event Idid. We raised ten dollars, so
(26:29):
very meager beginnings, very humbling, but eventually the words spread and then we
would raise one hundred dollars at events, and the first event we raised two
hundred dollars. I thought it wasthe greatest thing in the world. And
then Little Traverse Bay Parafest in Potoski, Michigan was the first event that really
got behind it and pushed it,and we raised a couple hundred dollars there
(26:53):
and John Cassidy was the is theguy that runs that event, and he
came to me later and he said, why don't we do an exclusive event
where you know, you get upand you tell your story and we sell
tickets and all the ticket sales goto the shelter. And I remember telling
John, I'm like, I don'tthink anybody's going to pay to come and
see me. And that first eventwe did, we oversold the venue and
(27:18):
raised I think, well, ifI remember right, seven hundred forty one
dollars, and to me, thatwas the top of the mountain and it
wasn't going to get any better thanthat. But all of a sudden,
it just took off and everything kindof snowballed, and eventually we were getting
thousands of dollars at events. Andthen we did an event in two twenty
(27:44):
one where we raised over thirteen thousanddollars at one event. And here we
are now just shy of ninety twothousand dollars in nine years. And you
know, I always said from thebeginning, this is a legacy for Murray.
Did you say ninety two thousand dollars? Yeah, it's uh, it's
gotten big enough that I I'm kindof afraid of it at this point.
(28:06):
Wow, there is no going backnow. Yeah, we uh, you
know, we we created this legacyfor him, and that's what I wanted.
I you know, I posted apicture of Murray about a week and
a half two weeks ago as apuppy, and I captioned it and I
said, yeah, who would havethought that this little puppy would have changed
(28:27):
the world for so many people? And he did. I mean, everything
that I've accomplished since two thousand andseven because of him. Um, there's
no doubt in my mind that Iwouldn't be here without him. Everything I
do going forward is because of him. And uh, you know, we
keep doing what we do. Andunfortunately in in uh in twenty nineteen,
(28:51):
Murray passed away. Passed away atthe age of thirteen, and that was
the worst day in my life. But before he passed, I made him
a promise. I said, yougot to go find your grandpa, you
know, make sure that you findyour grandpa. And then you got to
tell me you're okay. Otherwise Dad'scoming to look for you. But if
(29:12):
you tell me you're okay, Dadwon't hurt himself, I promise. And
the next morning, I woke upto four messages from four separate mediums,
and every message started with Marine needsyou to know he's okay. So he
held up his end of the bargain. So here I am, and we
(29:33):
keep fighting, we keep pushing forward, and along the way, I've met
some fantastic people that have shared theirstory with me, and uh, you
know, some fat, fantastic folkswithin the paranormal that have you know,
given their time and helped us raisethat kind of money. So it's,
uh, you know, I'm aI'm a pretty fortunate guy, and I'd
(29:56):
never lose sight of that. Atleast I try not to. Um.
But on on Facebook and on socialmedia, I rarely talk about the paranormal.
So it don't feel bad that youdidn't know I did that. I
don't a lot. It's like Itry to make people laugh and I try
to spread the word about Murray, and that's really what it comes down to
(30:18):
is I get to tell his storyover and over, and you know,
there's sometimes when you know, myhead messes with me and like nobody wants
to hear this again, um,But there's always somebody that needs to hear
it. And I'm hoping that there'ssomebody tonight listening that hears it for the
first time and it means something forthem. So I think that's what keeps
(30:41):
it going to be going on withyou, don't you This is a story.
I mean, this isn't just aboutMurray, No it's not. It's
it's about the folks that listen andthe folks that it touches. Um.
The last event that I brought Murraytoo was in Wisconsin and at the end
of the event, he got hisstanding ovation and I will never forget that.
(31:03):
I have a picture of it.Unfortunately, my ex wife is in
that photo, so it's not hangingin my house anywhere. But he did,
he got a he got a standingovation his last event. So I
gotta I got a chance to speakat Michigan Paracon last year, and I
told the story and then I hadthat photo as my last slide, and
(31:25):
I explained everybody in there, thenyou know Murray's last event. You know,
he got a standing ovation, andhow cool would it be if he
was here and he can experience this. And I pointed to the sky and
they said, buddy, we justdid a lecture at Michigan Paragon and all
of a sudden, everybody stood up, and I freaked out and went off
(31:48):
the stage. Um, I thinkthat though. I got out and some
of my friends were there to hugme, and deb de Rus put her
on around me and she said, she said, did you see see everybody
standing? And I said, yeah, I saw everybody. I said that
wasn't for me, that was forhim, and yeah, he's he's still
(32:10):
in my world. I mean, for thirteen years, our very existence was
tied together. And I'm sorry Ihave to stab you. I'm laughing because
you mentioned deb and again Facebook friends, you were not the only one that
I corned her, but I caughther coming out of the ladies room carded
everybody coming out of the bathroom.Well I should feel lucky. Then I
(32:32):
didn't get cornered out of the bathyet. And if you didn't corner roos
and dragged you to the people comingout of the bathroom, I was like,
Jim, I can't want that man. Before Dab just came out and
she and I was like, ohthat's and you could tell she's kind of
in a hurry, and I waslike hi, and then she kind of
sapped, and something told me ifyou don't stay hi to her now because
(32:54):
we had argued passed her how manytimes during the day, and I think
even the night before, I knewthat I probably would not. And when
I told her if I was,she gave me the biggest hug. It
made me feel like I'm top ofthe world because it's like she remembered my
name from Facebook and it was justamazing. Sorry, but see, you're
not the only one. Did yougive her time to at least wash her
(33:15):
hands? Oh? No, No, she was already coming out of the
stall. She's coming out of thebathroom itself. We were in the hall
way, anybody else going into thebathroom just coming out of the bathroom that
listen, stars have to pee atsome point. You want to catch somebody.
(33:37):
They all gotta go at some points. I've got a question from from
the audience or Tom. Do youknow jess Nepick that hangs out with John
Tenny and you and Maria are likejess and Bean. Do you know them?
(33:57):
I know John Tenny very well.Yeah. Um, I have not
met Jessica. I mean I've beenin the same area as her. Um,
but I'm not the well I meanthis this is gonna shock you.
But I'm not the kind of personthat just walks up to somebody. I
don't have No, I don't haveballs. That's the whole reason I can
(34:22):
do that. Oh jeez, where'smy freaking banner? And no, I
don't need it yet, but Ican see it's so I know. But
but I uh no, I don'tgo up like and sometimes that makes me
like seems stand offish, but I'mreally not. I'm just I'm really shy
(34:42):
until I know who you are.And and then once I know who you
are, then then I'll talk yourear off. And you wish that I
shut up. But um, whenI first meet somebody, though, I'm
not usually the one that makes thefirst move and it's like, hey,
how are you doing? That's justnot how I do things, clearly,
Oh my goodness. All right,So, um, before I really interrupted,
(35:07):
you were saying, but I amgoing to make it a point this
weekend at Paricon where I'll be andyou will not be. That That's fine.
I'll get you next year. I'llget you in March, no problem.
(35:30):
Yeah, we'll be together in marNintendo by that time, especially by
Detroit. So because I'm probably driving, I am too. It's like an
eight hour drive for me too,But is it really? Yeah? Well,
I live in Wisconsin and we've gotthat pesky Lake Michigan there, which
(35:52):
makes it a long drive anywhere.Like if I want to go anywhere to
the east, the drive is alot longer than it should be. Got
to Yeah, okay, we haveOntario the Eerie. Yah yeah. Um
so in the chats, folks, and I'm gonna put it back in there
(36:14):
a second time. Is your websitefor the potographs for pooches. And I'm
also gonna pull up your flyer herequick so everybody can kind of take a
look at that. So if I'vegot my tech work in so this is
your parafest and March fourth. Yes, and now that I've blocked everybody's faces
(36:36):
out, let me check change thepattern here, I like, we'll block
her instead. Um, actually,we'll do it this right there. No,
that's not working either. Let's goback to this one here. So
you got a whole bunch of bigof you got some names, big names
running her end. Yeah. Yeah, Like I said when I was talking
about you know, photographs and howit's grown, I mean there's there's folks
(36:59):
with in the field that I've lookedup No, no, I can't see
him. See that's what happens,my ugly face over here there. That's
better perfect. I like that, better go for it. Sorry, t
go ahead, folks that I've lookedup to her for a long time in
the field. Um, when Icalled John's appas and asked him to be
a part of potographs and he saidyes, Uh, that one floored me.
(37:22):
But but you never know until youask. And John was excited about
it. So dude, I'm impressedthat you can say. Yeah, I
just kind of like called Johnny Zappasand you know, hey call me,
you know, like, hey, just call him up. And usually he'll
screen my calls. I mean Idon't I don't call him all the time,
(37:45):
but I'll call him and leave amessage and he'll call me back,
you know, fairly quickly. Butthis time I called and he answered,
and uh it was it was likeholy s word you answered, and uh,
I'm trying to keep it clean. You can say it. You can
say that yeah for them, yes, but yeah, it was. You
(38:06):
know, it was a big dealto get to John, get John there,
and um, I do have tosay some nice words about Dustin because
it's in his contract. Um.But now, Dustin, Dustin Perry honestly
is one of my best friends inthe world. He is one of the
nicest guys. I'll tell you.It all started at an event in Michigan
(38:27):
where Tim Woolworth just took me upto Dustin and said, hey, you
guys need to have a conversation becauseyou have more in common than you believe.
Wow, Dustin and I started talking, and I mean, honestly,
you know Todd Arnold, he's onthat poster. He's my best friend in
the world, my best human friend. And I would say a close number
(38:47):
two is Dustin. He's uh,he really is everything that you think he
is. And honestly, when whenMurray passed away, Dustin was one of
the first people that called me andhe just got me on the phone.
He's like, talk to me,Yeah, what's going on. I can
totally see that. I don't knowhim personally, but meeting him at Parafess
(39:08):
last year, and um, meetinghim when he came to Buffalo. He
didn't talk um in Buffalo at Paranormaldity'sJoe Pierry's shop, and anyone who's in
my area Buffalo, and I agreevein Rochester. If you guys are from
the area, you gotta go thereis into puneing Yark. It's awesome.
But Dustin came into the talk.Um. Dustin is just a very down
(39:29):
to earth, very easygoing kind personand just amazing because even when I went
up to him and said, hey, I don't know if you remember,
but I met you went tim shotto your table. I was the one
kind of by one limb you can'tin the broom tour. Yeah, no,
I don't need to do that withhim, but pardon me, but
(39:57):
yeah, no, it was nice. You know. Even he was just
like oh yeah, you know,it was just just easy flowing conversation.
Um, trying to work something outto have him on the show at some
point Hello and um yeah, likejust here's my number, text me and
you know, we'll figure it outand whatever. So it was it's just,
yeah, he's just a really Ican totally see. Um. You
(40:20):
know, I'm stabbling at this pointbecause I just think he's a really great
guys. Hey, John another guy. Yes, he's a great guy.
I met John last year at MichianIcon too. Yeah, and I just
I don't know if I've ever meta happier man. He was. He
(40:44):
was just like the energy around himwas incredible. And uh yeah, I
remember. I think I took apicture with him and one other tall person
and he made the comment that hefelt short. He's not a small man,
He's not. Um. For thosethat haven't met me or haven't bum
rushed me just out of the bathroom, I am about six foot four,
(41:07):
so I'm a decent sized human being. Yes, yes, and I'm a
whole five three yeah. I meanJohn couldn't have been nicer. And uh
yeah, looking forward to seeing him. Everybody. Yeah, there you go.
(41:28):
So the hell were you standing nextto if he felt short? Wasn't
it really? Duh? Is deceptivelytall because he's about my height too?
Yeah, um, yes, yeahhe is. Maybe it was Dustin,
but yeah, So, I mean, we had a great weekend. You
got to meet him. And Iwill say this, Melissa, I'm looking
forward to meeting you two. Ilove meeting people with this, And make
(41:52):
sure you come by and say hi, Hi. Yeah, rumor has it.
I'm on I'm on the first floorthis year, across from the auditorium,
so easy to find, you know, duck in there, give me
a hug, maybe get yourself asweatshirt, and uh, I got to
pimp the merchandise. I have tofor it. We're raising money for a
(42:14):
Chippewa County animal shelter right into SaintMarie. So, uh, it's it's
one of the things that we do. It's always important that we find a
shelter in the area because it's easierfor people to get behind a local cause
than it is for me to say, donate this money and then I'm gonna
take it home and I'm going togive it to the shelter down the road
from me, right. Um.So it just works better when people feel
(42:37):
like it's local and they get tobe a part of it and know where
the money's going. Yeah, likeEric Allman does that a lot when he
does his his event, his bigSasquatch Camp, an event in Pennsylvania,
always went to the local shelters downthere, and yeah, God bless you
guys doing it. I mean rescues. I mean I raised and showed dogs
(42:58):
for for a couple of years, you know, but and we always had
to rescue that was there. Andactually I've got to rescue shepard in the
other room, and you know,it's very important even with the pure breads,
but making sure those rescues are gettingthere, especially with the craziness that's
out there, and yeah, youknow, and making sure they get home.
I mean we just to what twoand a half weeks, three weeks
(43:21):
ago now, um in a straighthat and trying to get ahold of shelters
and folks and do the identification. And I know, if you guys go
back, I got the link inthere for the twenty four hour you know,
chip place, because you know,I went to emergency vets and and
everything else and the neighbor down thestreet and lost our cat three days and
(43:42):
then and the cat was blind,it had its eyes surgical, so getting
those but I have connections in lawenforcement even trying to get a hold of
shelters to make sure those those petsare getting somewhere safe or or you know,
to to a home safe home andeverything like that. This is such
a hard thing to do. Um. When you said I have connections in
(44:04):
law enforcement, that almost sounded likea threat. You better behave yourself,
buddy, or I got connections, and um, yeah, I hey,
and say you're tim mail, bringit on. It's actually pronounced Miley.
Oh, it's Miley like Miley Cyrus. Oh, that's pronounced but everybody gets
(44:32):
it wrong. I don't even correctmost of the time. What is it
really? Well, hell, okay, it's been a year. How long
we're gonna let me go before youcorrected? You never said my last name,
like you've never come up to meand gone hello to the mail.
You always said hello. Actually Idid when I bumb rushed you at the
front door. But at any rate, I am so redoing my logo.
(44:57):
It's not Christie chasing into the outhouse. Arver's coming out and I need
to love looking out at the poorlevel. No, but wait, wait,
say it again. How do youpronounce it like like Miley Cyrus.
Oh it's oh. Oh that's okay, Yeah, I am um. I
said I was going to announce somethingand I should probably do that, Okay,
Yes, So I worked it outwith the Shelter Humane Society of Huron
(45:22):
Valley that we are raising money fornext year in an arbor, Michigan,
where we are going to do atour with the speakers. We're going to
get to do a tour of thefacility and then since we can't set everybody,
everybody that buys tickets before Halloween, because we got to do something fun
with Halloween. Everybody that buys ticketsfor that event before Halloween, You're going
(45:45):
to go into a drawing and we'regonna draw four groups of people that are
gonna be able to join us andspend some time with all the speakers and
get a tour of the place andpet some dogs. Um, So hopefully
people are excited about that. We'vegot to take tour the facilities that were
helping before or and it's incredible thework that folks do at those places.
It is, Um, it's it'sa lot harder than what I do.
(46:07):
Yeah, I get to go andtalk about it. I'm not out there
saving animals. I'm not out there, um crying because we can't find this
animal at home and this animal endsup passing away in the shelter. So
the people that are out there actuallydoing this work, um, those are
the people that I look up to. Um, They're they're out there actually
saving them and I got the easyjob. I just get to go and
(46:29):
tell the story about me and mydog. Um. But uh, yeah,
so we're gonna go do that it'sgonna be fun. Um John John
Kennedy mentioned Ben Hanson. Can Itell a funny story about Ben? Absolutely?
Us? Okay, So Ben,I believe Ben still does not like
me. So who is Ben Hanson? Because I don't know who that is.
(46:49):
Ben Hanson was on Factor Factor FakeFactor Fake They Yeah, okay,
And just a disclaimer, I willremember names for nobody, like unless we've
really interacted or what have you like. Unfortunately, I can love a band
and I will not know the namesof the members, but I'll love the
(47:10):
music, So it's not personal.I've just always done that way. So
okay, I'm gonna preface this bysaying Ben is one of the smartest people
I've ever met in my life.Just a very smart, intelligent man.
And we got off on the wrongfoot and my fault. But so I
was at an event with him inWinnipeg Park at Winnipeg at Winnipeg Paracon is
what it was called. I wasback in twenty thirteen, and I was
(47:35):
in the car when we went topick him up from the airport, and
I'm in the back seat and Benis in the front seat and he gets
in and this is like, likeI said, twenty thirteen. So in
Canada, you know, your cellphone at that time not working the best,
and you got to make all thesechanges so you don't get these outrageous
charges. So Ben's in the frontseat and he's trying to figure out it's
(47:57):
fall and I lean up and thenthis is going on for like ten minutes
and and Ben can't figure it out. And I lean up and I look
at him and I'm like, hey, Ben, you're so much smarter on
TV. Like I was joking U, but he didn't. He didn't think
it was a joke, so hedidn't really talk to me the rest of
(48:19):
the weekend. But anyway, ifthis gets back to Ben again nine years
later, I was joking, anduh, I do think he's one of
the first man I've ever met.But in that moment I tried to make
a joke and tried to be nonThen I made an incredibly awkward joke.
Um, and I'm probably not oneof his favorite people. But anywhere I'm
(48:40):
there time stamp forty eight minutes.Uhty, If anybody wants to share,
you know, sometimes that happens andyou will come across those people again in
their journey. I made that mistakeyears ago with a very famous navy seal.
(49:04):
He's famous author as well as youknow, setting up all these crazy
counter ters and teams in a wayI like your books, not thank you
for your service or anything like that. And he looked at me like I'm
going to kill you with my thinking. And about three years later I came
across him again, and you know, it was a little different, but
it was still like, who wasa snucklehead in the corner? I'm like,
(49:29):
so, um so, it willhappen. Everybody else in the car
thought it was hilarious, which didbecause because then he felt like everybody was
laughing at him. Um so again, if he does hear this, I
think he's a really smart guy.John Kennedy, you have a job to
do and we'll miss you this week. You know. The funny thing is,
(49:52):
you know, what are the oddsthat maybe you see how you feel
awkward now because the joke didn't land, or whatever the cases. Maybe he
just was awkward and weird because youall knew each other and he was the
eyeball coming into the car right, and people don't always hand all or he
probably doesn't even remember who I amexactly, or there's like, you carried
(50:14):
this guy this stuff. We carriedthis garbage with us, and you know,
it's always in our head and fornine years I've carried this guilt.
But it was funny. Oh mygosh, that's amazing. We have a
question from the audience, and it'sjust from Kelly. She came in late.
(50:34):
Thank you for joining us. DidTim did Murray send you a new
dog companion or do you still nothave another fur baby in your life?
That is a fantastic question and itleads me into a great story. Actually
got another dog while Murray was alive, still didn't invent in Michigan, and
they brought kind of an ambassador tothe shelter. And at the end of
(50:58):
the weekend, the lady who ranthe shelter looked at me and she said,
you know, you can take herhome because the whole weekend, you
know, I ended up naming herMolly, and the whole weekend Molly just
would not leave my side, andjust the most gentle dog. And she
was a sharpay pit mix and shejust this wonderful dog. And I put
(51:19):
her in the car and seven hourslater she got to meet Murray and I
was terrified. I'm like, whatif they don't get along? And they
ended up being best friends and sheloved him so much, and you know,
they ended up being together for alittle over a year. Molly passed
away in two thousand twenty one. It'll be a year here in September,
(51:45):
but it had her for three years. When Murray passed away, the shelter
I worked with in Wisconsin contacted meand they said, hey, we have
some pit lab puppies coming up fromAlabama. Here's the pictures. Pick one.
And this leads into a story yearsago when Murray was still alive.
(52:09):
I don't readily admit this, butsometimes I hear and see and feel things.
And I'll never call myself a medium, but sometimes I get this stuff.
I had a vision, and forthe longest time I told everybody was
a dream, but it was avision. I was completely awake. And
in this vision, I was holdingthis little puppy and we were looking at
(52:31):
pictures of Murray on the laptop, and I was telling this little puppy all
about Murray. And it dawned onme in the vision that Murray wasn't there
anymore, and that this little puppy'sname was Ray because it was the last
three letters of Murray's name and itwas a boy. And so my plan
(52:52):
was to get a boy and namehim Ray. That was the plan.
And then I got a message fromApril Rome and it said, Hey,
Murray wants me to tell you something. He thinks it's fantastic that you're gonna
get a puppy, and he lovesthe idea of naming it Ray. Um,
he just doesn't want it to bea boy because he can be your
(53:12):
only boy. That's why my Ray, it's a girl and it's rum.
But that's how Ray got her name. If you look at photos of her
at three years old compared to photosof Murray at three years old, the
identical. And uh, I alwaysjoke, I think Murray's up there.
(53:35):
He's laughing at me right now becauseshe is an impossible puppy. Um.
I love her. I love her. Where Murray was so so smart,
Ray is not. And uh,she's a sweetheart and uh like she's she's
she's my best buddy and uh anduh. In January, I actually added
(53:57):
to the family. I got Daisy. She's also a pit lab and she
was one of my best friends dogsand his kids developed these horrible allergies to
animals, and they were going togive her up, and I said,
I can't let you do that.So instead Daisy moved in with me.
So we got Ray and Daisy.I got two girls. I do have
(54:19):
a male cat and okay though, because it's a cat, right, both
was here when Murray was here,so he's my last connection to But yeah,
I mean it's me two dogs anda cat, and that's the way
it's been for quite a while. That's okay with me. So I have
a question for you. Sure yousaid that you wanted you asked Murray for
(54:45):
a sign, you know, ifhe could let you know, find Grandpa,
you know, and give you asign. What was the sign?
Are you willing to share that youopen? It was? It was just
the messages that next morning, youknow, saying, you know, somebody
has to tell my dad that I'mokay. I actually actually got a reading
(55:06):
from Carry Kennedy, who's an animalcommunicator. She's been on the show with
the Ghost Brothers, the new showI can't think of again, horrible with
the names horrible. I've known Carryfor probably three years, okay, and
I would consider her a pretty goodfriend. And she got a hold of
me after Murray passed, and she'slike, I want to give you a
(55:29):
free reading from Murray. And shewas telling me all these things and and
uh, the one that stuck outthe most or stuck out the most,
stuck what what? What? Whatword is stuck with me? Welcome?
So the one that stuck out themost was she she called it on what
(55:52):
our last meal was together. Um, we used to have I used to
get this slice Somali Somali? WhatIslammy? He's he's gonna do a function
task. Oh geez. Anyway,so we had a we had a sandwich,
a salami sandwich. I used tocall it. I used to call
(56:13):
it. I used to ask himif you wanted a sausage and I would
I would call chicken chickens. Umjust had funny words for things. But
I called it sausage sandwich. Anduh, she told me, she goes,
Murray wants me to tell you thathe really enjoyed the sausage sandwich.
Oh so cool. And you knowthe reason I asked is not to demean
(56:40):
or undermine obviously the messages you got. The next day, I think the
feeling like maybe there was something elsethat happened that you either just missed or
we're not sure I've seen him.I had some as I get older,
health issues are just middle name. But um. I had some health issues
(57:02):
in twenty twenty related to diabetes andended up getting a toe amputated um And
when I was in the hospital, they had me in the MRI, and
that thing is just loud, youknow, and intimidating. And I remember
looking down on the floor to myright and I saw Murray curious day and
he was running around frantically, andI just I remember thinking to myself,
(57:27):
this lady's gonna think I'm crazy. And I looked down and like out loud
and said, Murray, it's okay. They're taking care of me. You
can go sit down. It'll beokay. And he did. He went
and sat by the nurse, andit was just stuff like that. I
mean, he always lets me know, just it's uh, you know.
And I when when Molly passed,you know, I got a I got
(57:51):
a message from April that next morning, and all that said was Murray's got
his girl. You don't have toworry about her. And I couldn't be
sad anymore. Because I mean thatwas to me, that's a wonderful reunion.
And people will get weird every timeI say this, but I'm gonna
say it again. There's gonna comea day where I pass, and there's
(58:15):
probably gonna be people that are gonnamourn, but I don't want them to
because honestly, it's gonna be thebest reunion ever and that's my time that
I'm going to be back with myboy. And don't cry for me,
because that's the best day ever andI'm looking forward to that day, you
(58:37):
know, not to the point whereyou know, well, of course everybody
has to worry about it, butit's like when that day comes though,
I mean, that's I mean,that's the celebration. But I feel the
need to tell you you have tonot short change yourself either, because when
the day comes, to have peoplewho will miss you and mourn you,
regardless of how they feel and howthey know that you'll be okay, that
(59:00):
is a big deal because it meansyou made an impact on their life.
It means that you meant something tothem, and we all need that,
you know, and that's a beautifulthing. So don't don't short change yourself.
On that. I appreciate that, but I'm horrible at taking compliments.
And the more you get to knowme, the better you're gonna understand that.
Okay, I'm gonna give it anyway, you do it. I have
no you're here with us. Hemade sure you were here with us.
(59:30):
Yeah, and you're making sure alot more of those puppies and those kittens
are here with us. And webless all of you for that. Thank
you, I appreciated. What aboutthe people that you have reached and how
many people you save? Fight?Yeah? I do. I do want
to tell the story. And Ithink this girl's mom is listening. I
(59:52):
hope I don't embarrass her. ButI didn't event in February, and it
was a new audience for me,and I did my presentation and a lot
of times, full disclosure, Idon't really look at the audience. I
do not like public speaking, andfor some reason, when I get up
and talk about this stuff or theparanormal, I can get through it.
(01:00:15):
You give me a different topic,I'm just gonna go and just sit and
stare at everybody. But I don'tgenerally look at who's in the audience unless
I know somebody i'll make eye contactwith them. But I got back to
my table and this lady walked upwith a little girl, and the first
thought in my mind was, ohshit, there's a little girl in the
(01:00:37):
audience. And I swore a bunchand she came up to the table and
she's like, I want to tellyou a story, and I said okay,
and she said, my cat Phoebeis my Murray. And this little
girl told me that story and likeequal parts broke my heart and equal parts
(01:00:58):
made me feel like this sense ofpride that it had resonated and meant something
to her. Very good friends withthem still to this day. Um a
very good relationship. She's a wonderfullittle girl, and I she did it.
She came to an event that wedid in April and I told her
in front of a bunch of people, which is probably not the right thing
(01:01:19):
to do, but that she wasmy inspiration to keep talking about it,
because there are times when I don'tfeel like people want to hear it anymore,
and I need to get past thatand understand that, like you said,
there's there's one or two people thatare going to always hear it,
and it's going to mean something tothem. So, I mean that was
a turning point for me where Irealized, Okay, yes, you know
(01:01:43):
there's people out there that need tohear it. There was an event I
did in Illinois a few years ago, or I didn't talk about this at
all, I did. I justdid a straight up paranormal lecture and I
felt like I cheated. I gotdone. An I'm like, who was
that guy? You know? It'sI mean, the Murray stuff is who
(01:02:04):
I am. You know, ifI if I don't talk about that,
then there's really no point in mestanding in front of people. But interesting,
So I mean, yeah, whenpeople say nice things about me,
it makes me uncomfortable. But believeme, I understand that I play a
role in this. UM, ButI will always say, first and foremost
Murray's story, and I'm just theguy who gets to keep telling the story.
(01:02:28):
That's where I'm at and I'm happybeing that guy. You know,
when he could go to events,I was thrilled to play second fiddle to
him. Um when when when hewould come to events, he stole the
show. He was a little hamand uh, it was like he knew
that people were there to meet him. Umn, I did an event in
(01:02:49):
my hometown at a museum, andat the end of the lecture, Murray
came up to the front room andI lifted him up and h everybody went
uh. And then all of asudden that the eyes turned to and then
they went oh. And Murray hadpooped all over the floor. He wasn't
(01:03:15):
always perfect, but uh, wegotta go. Maybe he got ambushed in
and h. I mean, thetruth of the matter is that he could
never control his vowels because of whatpeople had done to him. But it
wasn't it wasn't something that he couldhelp. When he got excited, he
pooped and that's all you knew.He was happy, which is but uh,
(01:03:44):
I loved every bit of it,and even that part. Um,
I just it took a long timebefore I could look back at things and
smile. But now, I mean, I mean, I tear it up.
And I cried a little bit whenI was telling his story, because
I mean, that's how much hemeans. But I can tell stories and
smile and laugh, and uh,yeah, it all, Uh, it
(01:04:06):
all is a little bit easier. You know, it'll be four It'll be
uh geez, it'll be three years. You wish he was. I wish
everybody could have met him. It'sit's kind of sad because photographs kind of
blew up after he passed. Imean we uh. I think in the
(01:04:26):
last three years have raised about sixtythousand of that ninety one. That blows
my mind. It's so cool tohear that. I love it. So
we have a question. I wantto make sure we get to the question
right. Yes, I was goingto click on that from mister class that's
yeah, you did my job lastweekend and that's um I loved so much.
(01:04:55):
Just weird location for after uh peoplewatching never mind if you want to,
it's a whole other start. Uh. So Dani's question, is there
a possibility that there will be anew animal character? Slash cosplay Suit introduced
an upcoming event? Oh god,I hope trying out for something or no.
(01:05:15):
I should wants me to say this, but next year in March,
there might be an appearance from ScoobyDoo. Um. Oh the way the
way Robin brought it up to me, he said, um, he said
it only it only makes sense thatthe second most famous dog in the Paranormal
(01:05:39):
comes to the event of the firstand uh, Yeah, that got me
choked up. That's uh, itwas for those listening, Yeah, uh
s apostogy know yeah everybody. Yeah. One of my biggest supporters in the
(01:06:09):
field enough photographs is Tim Marian andhe runs Old Mill Parafest in Dundee,
Michigan. If you're in the area, you gotta go to that event.
It's wonderful. But that was thefirst event that I went to after Murray
passed, and it was about amonth after and I just went there as
a paying guest because I just neededto be around people that I loved.
(01:06:31):
And that was not too long afterRosemary Ellen Guiley had passed away and I
never got to meet I never gotto meet Rosemary um and I regret not
getting that opportunity. But I gotto Old Mill Parafest and they had a
memorial set up for Rosemary and Murray. Oh and h while you want to
(01:06:53):
start off the weekend with a bunchof tears. Um. They let me
take that memorial home and it sitsin my living room to this day.
So that's beautiful. Yeah. Uh. When he passed, there were a
lot of people that were grieving andit's beautiful the impact that he made So
I do want to ask you whathas all this done for you? You
(01:07:16):
have major you have and I can'tsay enough how super excited I am that
you asked me to be a partof this in March. In case anybody
didn't notice, I was on theposter, I'm not she's there, but
like, I'm super super excited topart of it. No, but in
(01:07:45):
all seriousness, I just I mean, these are amazing events, and I
am really excited that we get togo and do a tour of the facility.
Um. That's going to be somuch fun and so special. UM,
tell me, tell us, tellus about doing all these things you
have. You have a major eventcoming up in Wisconsin, you have a
(01:08:06):
major event coming up again in AnneArmor. You this is the fourth one
you've done. It doesn't seem likeit's going to slow down or stop anytime
soon, right, So yeah, you're gonna be in Michigan this week where
you at What is this done foryou personally, spiritually? Even with your
gifts that I know you don't necessarilywant to talk about, But I'm being
(01:08:29):
told to ask his questions, SoI don't argue, um gifts go um
like we do residential investigations. I'llpick up on some things, but it's
hard for me to trust myself completely. Um, there's some other events that
I need to get on there.I'm also in Missouri in September. Okay,
(01:08:51):
I'm here. I'm in Illinois inSeptember. It's still con and uh
the tenth and the twenty fourth,I'm in Jefferson, Missouri for falling to
the trip natural. So a lotof opportunities as far as what this has
done for me. Um, asan investigator, I try, I try
(01:09:15):
to keep that separate. But asa as a person, um, oh
yeah, I just trying to getthrough this. A thought. Murray made
me a better person. He did. He made me He made me care
about him more than myself. Hemade me care about other people more than
(01:09:41):
myself. And I'll be the firstI raise my hand that I'm not perfect.
I there's so much improvement that Icould. I am one of the
most impatient people in the world.Um. My stress levels when I do
these events is off the charts andU but I would never trade that in
for the world. I mean,it's it's a lot of stress because you're
(01:10:04):
always worried what event is it goingto be where people just stopped carrying and
then and then you're stuck with thislight up and nobody there. But no,
Murray made me a better person. And I mean there's no simple way
to there's no more simple way tosay that. UM. I tell people
(01:10:25):
all the time, you know, the paranormal UM made me a better person
because it made me care about otherpeople more than me too. UM.
But Murray cemented it, he reallydid. And to see to see how
much people still love him, um. And I hear it all the time.
They're like, oh, well, but it's you, and no,
(01:10:46):
it's it's him. You know, nobody's gonna buy a picture of me,
but they'll buy a picture of Murray. UM. And that's fine. You
know, it's it still is abouthim. It's about his legacy. And
you know, there's I don't rememberwhich event it was. I think it
was the one where we raised thirteenthousand. I remember just saying everybody,
(01:11:08):
you know, like this legacy setwe're good. People aren't going to forget
him. They're not going to forgetwhat he did. And I'm a small
part of that. I'm probably thebiggest, small part of it. But
I'm still a small part of it. And I'm and I'm honored to be
able to one be the one thattells a story. So I mean,
(01:11:30):
that's that's where I'm at. Itry to remember where I came from and
a time when people didn't care whatI had to say. Um, And
it could always go back to thatum, And I hope there's never a
time when it becomes old hat whenpeople recognize me. I abused by new
(01:11:54):
people, you know, when peoplegrabbed me as up going into the bathroom.
I wanted to be a surprise. But uh, yeah, you know
there's a question on there's a storyon the Facebook page in some way,
shape or form. Yes, Iwrote a book in two thousand sixteen called
(01:12:17):
The Endless Road. Um, ifyou're in the reading that's on Amazon,
that tells Murray's story completely. Alsomy entire story for the paranormal. But
yeah, so it's uh, it'sa labor of love. It's a lot
of stress, but I got alot of great people that help. I
(01:12:38):
see Michelle in here. She hasn'tcommented in a while, but Michelle is
an amazing person with a big heart, and she does these basket raffles for
us at our events and raises betweenfifteen hundred and two thousand dollars just on
baskets selling raffle tickets for baskets, and she takes a lot of pride in
that, as she should. I'mhappy to donate a gift card because I
(01:13:01):
can do my readings from anywhere. So Michelle, get a hold of me
and I'll donate some gift cards tothese events coming up here. For sure,
She's a wonderful person. And sinceshe's listening right now, I'm just
going to say this to everybody.Sometimes Michelle doesn't believe that people love her
so much, but you should startbelieving people when they tell you that they
(01:13:26):
love you. And the folks, the folks that don't, you don't need
those people anyway. And you knowthat deep down inside. So you know
what I've learned, because you know, I think we all on some level
battle this issue right within ourselves,to self confidence, to self confidence,
the acceptance of who we are andwhat we're supposed to do. And I
(01:13:49):
feel like I have to always remindmyself to that because I am brave enough,
or I've become brave enough or learnedhow to be brave enough to do
what I do, even though Iknow I might mess up. It's still
hopefully gives other people who aren't thereyet to do or say or get to
(01:14:10):
the place that they need to todo what I'm doing someday, whether it's
just being themselves, whether it's justspeaking for what they think is right,
whether it's using their gifts, evenif it's not out in the open the
way I do it. And Ifeel like we all need to remember that
about ourselves, you know. Andit's not it's it's humbling, it's not
an egotistical kind of a thing. It's finally self acceptance. Can people can
(01:14:32):
bastardize that whole idea of things andmake us feel like as soon as we
become solid in ourselves that that's egotisticalor vain or selfish, And it is
so far from it. And Ithink that's because a lot of the way
we society has become it's and it'sjust too much. We come down too
much on the people who really aretrying to who are okay to do good
(01:14:56):
and put themselves out there. Doesthat make sense that I just do you
know what? I Yeah, Idon't share much about my struggle anymore,
but There'll be days where I wakeup and I feel completely worthless and my
brain is fighting me all day.And I share that stuff because, quite
(01:15:17):
honestly, I want people to readthat and realize it's okay to not be
okay. It's okay to wake upand just things aren't going your way and
your brain is mad at you forsome reason. You have no idea why
tomorrow can't be better if you're nothere. So we just got to fight
through it. And I want peopleto understand that. They look at all
(01:15:40):
these fantastic things I get to do, and I am so lucky. You
know, I'm just a small townguy from Wisconsin and I get to go
around the country now and talk aboutthis stuff and life is really good.
But there are still days where Iwake up and my brain's like, God,
everything you do sucks, and Igotta fight through that. And you
(01:16:01):
know, I want people to understandthat if you wake up and your brain's
telling you that it doesn't last foreverand the bad days are really minimal now,
was able to fight through it,And I thank Murray every day for
that. It's weird because like alot of people will like pray to God
and I'm not you know, I'mnot saying that that isn't something that I
(01:16:26):
do. But for the most part, on a day to day basis,
if I need advice or guidance orlittle help on something, I'm always talking
to the boy. I go rightto the head of the line. So
yeah, he's uh, he's stillmy little angel, and hopefully he goes
along for the ride on Thursday whenI head up to Sue Saint Marie and
(01:16:46):
and hanging out with this old manfor a while, it's awesome. Tim.
Please remind me after to get youraddress because I'm going to send you
one of these. And this isa tribute cookbook we did to a lot
of our dogs, thank you,um. And we worked with some nutritions
around the world and stuff. Solet me get a couple. I'll get
that. Something getting out to you. I appreciate and whatever we can do
(01:17:10):
with that. Like I said, rescues and stuff with us has been really
big in my household for for quitea few years. In fact, the
room one broadcast out of was mydog room for quite a few years.
We had lots of rescues and othereat dogs in here at one time.
Um, you you're there, you'reinto the paranormal. I'm sorry the girls
(01:17:35):
were just went out, so wemake a little bit of noise. Um,
do you like lay in bed andfeel him there with you? And
before I completely forget because we did. We're going to get in some of
your parental stuff because everybody kind ofmisses as sometimes. Um. What was
your favorite place to go investigate aparanormal investigator as a paranorval instigator. My
(01:18:00):
favorite place. Um, I don'tknow if he's in here anymore, but
it's a Hinsdale House. Um,that's that's my favorite location. I've been
there three times and I've loved everyminute of it. Yeah, we got
to do it. We got todo a potographs event there in July.
I wish we could have made itup for that, or I could have
made up for that. Just anamazing experience every time I'm there. And
(01:18:26):
you know, Animal Rescue is nearand dear to Dan's heart too and asked
me to come out and put thephotographs brand on it, and that was
a nice thing for him to do. But um, I mentioned the Hinsdale
House, But then I go rightback to my roots. My favorite case
is the next one. My favoritecase is the next family that emails me
and says, hey, my kidsaren't sleeping at night. Yeah. I
(01:18:48):
take a lot of pride in gettingtext messages or emails or calls saying,
hey, after you guys left,my six year old slept in his bed
for the first time in two monthsago. Um, you know that that's
what keeps me going. As faras that I you know, I said
I was going to talk about ToddArnold and I haven't really spoken about him
(01:19:08):
much, but I've been investigating withhim for almost fifteen years now. He
helps me run Foxiti's paranormal team, and we kind of have a bomb where
he's he's a brother first and foremost, and uh, you know, we
have this agreement like if we everlose our our drive to do residential investigations,
it's time to walk away. Um. I don't want to be one
(01:19:30):
of those people that hangs on andhangs around, and you know, I
want to be there helping when Ican, and and uh, we have
that agreement. And if you goto Fox Cities Paranormal dot com, it's
actually I put that in there wrong. Oops, that's all Uh, Foxy
Team dot com. Let me getthese out take you, um, make
(01:20:00):
them work, make them work. It's all good disclaim before If you do
go to that website, it lookslike a four year old did the website.
And that's because I did the website. I'm not a I'm not a
webmaster, so um but yeah,Fox Cities Paranormal Team dot com. It'll
be January twenty twenty three. We'llbe doing this for fifteen years and we've
(01:20:25):
actually done like three hundred plus residentialinvestigations. So I've been pretty busy in
that side of my life. Andlike I said, I don't get to
talk about that much anymore because theparent the podographs for pooches really took off,
and I'm not upset about that inthe least. It's just it's nice
once in a while where I canna, Um, you know, if I
(01:20:46):
get the chance to do a panelat an event, you know, and
we're just talking about ghosts, wecan do that. You know. I
feel like I could hold my ownI know what I'm talking about. So
yeah, you know, life hasbecome Fox City's paran Normal Team, and
then it transitioned to photographs for coaches. So we try to keep a healthy
balance. I mean, I gotI got an investigation coming up here in
(01:21:10):
a couple of weeks and try tohelp that family. And uh, you
know, whenever we're called, wewe make it happen. That's the meat
page. But I'll get you yourguys. Yeah, that'll get that'll get
people to it. But yeah, sorry about that. That was my fault.
I forgot the name of my owndarting team. Yeah, you're hanging
out with me, that'll happen. And I want to thank you because it
(01:21:31):
seems like names from Wisconsin, lastnames from Wisconsin, we tend to butcher
and oh well, okay, Iguess yeah, but I've never forgotten Jay
and Mary come into this. Howmany times I butcher my boy Jay's last
name? Well, you know they'llnever ever come out right. Listen,
you know, when you say aname to me, I'm gonna remember,
(01:21:53):
and I'm going to say at leastclose to what it is. I've never
heard it actually pronounced you. Onthe other hand, we can say but
Chochen to you twenty five times toyour face, and you're still gonna say
every time. I have a fanaticallyspelled out audio voice, do listen to
him. A little plug for theevent in Wisconsin. James chen is actually
(01:22:17):
speaking at the Riffin event. Sowhat's talk about the Wisconsin right? The
Wisconsin thing is, uh, youknow, half hour down the road from
my house. So it's a homehome game for me. Um bringing in
Dustin Perry, Chris Williams from GhostHunter, Shane Pittman from Holser Files,
(01:22:39):
Um, and a cast of peoplefrom the area. I don't want to
get into naming them all because I'mgoing to forget him. I will pull
up that page because you have andyeah, you go to photographs for Pooches
dot com. We think it's forthat event. And then afterwards we bowl
because it's a bowling. Um.We did this last year and the bowling
(01:23:00):
was the most over thing that wedid, Like everybody had a great time.
It was the best it was.It was so amazing. Um.
Yeah, you see Jenny Milton Davison the other let me put it on
the other screen there that way arewe go? And Mary Marshall's there,
Jaba Chochen justin Libigs. Yeah, just a bunch of really great people getting
(01:23:21):
together for a good cause. Um. The bowling thing, though, was
the first time we tried doing that. We had a bowling tournament after the
event, and it was amazing. We had like six or eight lanes of
people full and nine to seven wow, and it was it was amazing because
everybody was cheering everybody else on.It was like one big happy family.
(01:23:45):
If somebody threw a gutter ball,we all ran over and laughed at them.
If somebody, if somebody, ifsomebody bowled to strike, then we
were over there given high fives. It was the biggest sense of family that
I've ever felt in an event, and we had a great time. So
people wanted it this year again,so we're bringing it back. That's after
hours. You got to pay foryour bowling, but otherwise, you know,
(01:24:06):
there's no charge to actually bowl withus. You know, my bowling
team this year is me, Todd, Chris William, Shane Pittman, and
Dustin Perry. So all right againwe did win last year. Oh I'm
a pretty good bowler because I grewup in Wisconsin and there's not much else
to do. So so yeah,it's uh from nine am to seven pm.
(01:24:31):
We've got I believe nine speakers,um, you know, and then
you go to that Michigan event nextyear and we've got sixteen seventeen. I
mean we've got a full speaker roomand then we've got gallery readings all day
and Christy London is doing a galleryreading, So go to the website,
get a get a ticket for that, and uh yeah, just exciting,
(01:24:53):
exciting times. Potographs continues to growand I'm excited to see if you know,
when we started, we had noexpectations. Yeah, to be where
we are now is it's pretty amazingand you kind of got to pinch yourself.
But you know, I never losesight of where we came from and
what we're doing it for. Andevery event, every Potographs event is is
(01:25:17):
unique because everybody has the same goal. You go to a paragon, I'm
gonna go to Michigan Paracon Thursday andI'm gonna have the time of my life.
We're gonna have a great time. But if you go to go to
Potographs event, everybody there is onegoal and it's how much money can we
raise? Yeah, and it's amazingto see people come together like that and
(01:25:41):
do what they can for the dogs. So um, I should also say
that the guys that run Michigan Paracon, Brad Blair tim Ellis are also speaking
at our event in Okay, it'sdidn't catch that on the poster um,
Yeah, it's it's not it's uh, you know, it's kind of serving
because you know, you want tobecome best friends with those guys so they'll
(01:26:03):
bring into their event. And yes, nameless plug. I got to meet
Brand and Tim a few years backand just hit it off immediately. They've
been big supporters of what we dowith photographs and like I said, did
(01:26:23):
give me an opportunity to speak lastyear at Michigan Paracon. Very thankful for
that, so vendor table this year. Get to enjoy everything and hang out
with everybody. But yeah, I'mgonna drop that radar around the top there.
I brought it in there we gothat poster. Well, well,
we met them in passing, injail. Actually I think he only met
really by name, one of themin passing. We didn't really we didn't
(01:26:45):
know who was putting on the event. But I'll tell you it's the best
event I've ever been to, notlike I've been to a whole lot myself
yet, but it was amazing, like so much so that it obviously is
killing me that I'm not going thisyear. But it was just really awesome.
I feel, like you said,to feel with everybody and just being
able to you know, during theday with everything going on in then at
night and um, you know it'sjust one's there. They're doing their thing
(01:27:09):
and everyone's supportive of everybody else, and it's just it was a great,
great weekend. So kudos to them, even as a big guy not really
knowing a lot of the paranormal facesand stuff that you know, any Cliff,
because we've been in a couple eventstogether and the guys from outa Monsters,
but not you know, knowing toomany other folks. It was just
(01:27:29):
it was a great time and likewe're just hanging out with everybody and really
getting well Tim because he's up inour area. But you know, yeah,
for for me, I mean,Michigan has been so supportive of photographs.
Um, when I do an eventin Michigan, it's like a family
reunion for me. I mean,I know all those guys and um that's
(01:27:50):
the that's the part I'm looking forwardto the most this weekend. It's just
getting back with family, all right. Let's just as you can't wait to
meet everyone in you Tenny is goingto introduce you to Jessica you and she
your kindred spirits with her puppies.I haven't cried so hard since people died
in me. I'm sorry with that. Yeah, So any last final words,
(01:28:15):
thank you for come on here inBabel. It's what we do.
We are great. Oh my gosh, no, oh, thank you so
much. This wasn't so inspirational andheard felt and that's what we are all
about here. So thank you somuch. Appreciate it. Yeah, yes,
and thank you everybody for sharing thistonight. Yes, yes, you
(01:28:39):
know, get get the word onin this one. Um, tim you
really hit some things with a lotof stuff that's happened with us and some
of our friends lately. Um,your story is very important and I want
folks to know about it and whatyou guys are doing, what you and
Murray's doing with you and walking withyou in spirit is amazing. And like
(01:29:02):
I said, when it comes toum our pets and there there are family
you know, and just how itis I'm mumbling guys tonight, it's just
been on. It was a roughday at work today. So um okay,
So I have a question, quickquestion, because you know, of
course I pick up on stuff whenyou know at least expected, So,
(01:29:24):
um, who did you used tolike do this to their nose? Murray
did that to me, thank youbecause earlier, and I don't know when,
it was about halfway through the showwhen I kind of looked down and
I was doing this. It's becauseI felt like this, like I was
doing it this way and you'd havehe would do this. Okay, Well
I was getting it like this,So that's so it had. So Murray
(01:29:47):
was here with me, is whatI'm saying then, because that was and
I didn't want to inter rope whatwas going on, and then I just
figured I would tell you before wewere done. So yeah, so he
was here part way through the showwith me then, because yeah, that's
awesome. Well, Tim, thankyou so much. It was a pleasure.
I am super excited about March.Cannot wait to be a part of
(01:30:08):
this. This is such a specialspecial event. I'm not gonna say cause
because it's you know, it's itis, But I think it's more than
that. It's not a cause,it's it's you know, it's all.
It's everybody, right, so fromevery angle, Yeah, we're gonna have
a fantastic time. Murray'll make sureof that and uh yeah, there's a
(01:30:29):
lot of things from here until then, though, So enjoy those two.
Let us know, we'll post them. We will definitely help support. Yeah,
thank you, Yeah, be safeand just yeah, let us know
what we can do and just kickthemselves. If if folks are working to
the show and they want you connectwith me. You can find me on
(01:30:53):
Facebook. Um, I don't mindthat. Go ahead and do that.
Hey he's back there, he isanyway. I think that was his hint
that we got to wrap it up. No, I have no clue and
