In Which Murderer’s 49th episode of Season 6, the girls cover Care Home Murders. Holly starts us off with the drug fueled case involving Rachel Baker, before Mel goes over the ‘angel of death’ story of Heather Pressdee.

Listener Kirsty suggested this week’s topic - thanks so much!

This week's episode begins with memory failure, involves Eurovision, some very good advice regarding drugs (don’t do them kids!) and Holly is a time travelling wizard.

Production, recording and post production completed by Holly who has gone back in time and trained baby Consulting Producer Craig’s to edit anything people named Holly tell him.

Holly edited this week. All complaints should be sent directly to Mel while Consulting Producer Craig calls Holly’s medical team and reminds them that locking her up is a service to us all.

Big thank you to all our listeners for subscribing, leaving fantastic reviews and sending in great theme suggestions.

(00:00):
Mm hmm. If you like, good afternoon, malth good afternoon, Holly.

(00:22):
How are you in this fine sunnyMay afternoon? I am fine,
dude. We're a witch murderer.It is Saturday. We're recording on a
Saturday. We are. We've beendoing this a lot. Yeah, because
we've had quite a lot of socialthings we like. We may as well
just record round about that because itmakes sense exactly because you have to travel
over this way. Yep, soit makes sense that you don't have to

(00:43):
double travel exactly. Did you saywe're a witch maderer. I don't know
we're which marderer we are. Todayis our Eurovision party. And you know
you've probably gathered throughout many times wherea friendship group love a theme, love
a theme. We have festivals,we have pink Days, we have this,
this, this, So we've alwayswanted to do something for Eurovision.

(01:06):
Eurovision, if you're not familiar,is a singing competition. We are acts
from Europe and Australia. I don'tknow how it works. It's all quite
but they go they entered a singingcompetition and then public from each country vote
for and it does all become quitepolitical. It's also horrific and really funny.

(01:27):
It's like a car crash. Yeah, it's an absolute car crash.
Some good singers, some really goodsingers. Last year's when our Sweden was
excellent that song, and then Isaw some this time and there's people like
throwing themselves around on stage dressed ascats. So I love it. So
we thought we had to do somethingfor you. We need to have a
Eurovision party. So we're having aUrovision party this evening and when it starts,

(01:49):
and we all have chosen a countryrandom, and that country we have
to wear an outfit or a costumeto represent that country and bring a drink
from that country and a snack.Yes, So my country is Italy and
Holly's is Grease, which worked outperfectly. Having just return from I didn't
realize that. I didn't realize thatit all stacked up until we're talking about

(02:10):
it, when we were both awakeand you were like, oh, I'll
get something near and I was like, oh my god, that's amazing.
It was perfect. I was like, one of these and one of these
and one of these excellent. Sothere will be tiktoks and social media evidence
of this and we'll have a laugh. My costume is hilarious question. Because
I looked for I wanted a Pavarottifat suit. That was my initial thing,
right, I thought, Luci,I know Pavadotti. What's more Italian

(02:32):
than I thought? The only thingI've got to do is on the internet
get fat suit. Couldn't find oneanywhere, all right. The only thing
I could have find was like aPavarotti face mask, and I thought,
that's a bit ship. I'm notwearing a suit and a face mask,
that's ship. Yeah. So thenI went down the Roman kind of place
and I was like, oh,it could be a Roman princess or goddess.
But then it was going a bitRoman into Greek and was really making

(02:53):
sense. And then something else poppedout and I thought, boom, I
hope it's I. It's Mario,or no, it's not spled something else
out the bag and I'm like, this is Hilardi's is going to be down
a store so the way pictures onsocial media of our countries and whatever else.
Yeah, I've got my outfit whichnobody knows about it until anyone when
I was a when I beat it, and I've got my apparel spirts for

(03:14):
my drink, yeah, because that'svery Italian. And I've also got maretti.
I found some of my friends.I was like, that'll do because
my husband had a party last weekendand I have Italian rosemary and sea salt
for catcha with Italian meats stuff gonice, Austrami salami, something else nice.

(03:35):
That's what I went for. ButI really wanted to find Italian chocolate,
but there isn't any here. Andthen when I go go, they
said Fero Roschi and I was like, is that Italian? Oh? Is
it? Yeah? I didn't thinknoshi was Italian, but I thought,
you know what, I've got asnack. It's fine, Yeah, it'll
be fine. My love of chocolatedoesn't have to go that far. I
did so my top is Greek like, but it was really hard to find

(03:57):
something that wasn't like dressing up asa fucking Greek statue, and I was
like, I can't, I can'tdo that. So yeah, I did
that. And then I've got someGreek collars and I've got some halloumi crete
great shout. And then I've gotsome sweet things from from Greece. I
don't really know what they are,and I will get Yeah, I think

(04:23):
that. Oh. And then formy drink, obviously it's uzo, but
I'm gonna do a blueberry lemonade uzo. Oh yum. I'm off for that.
I'm up for that alone. Andmy welcome cocktail, I should say
sorry, is Pisco sour, whichyou have to try even if you don't
want it, just try it.This is Pisco or picasso. It's Pisco.
Pisco's a Peruvian brandy. So whenwe went to Madrid for Day's forty

(04:46):
last year, yeah, this wasall over the place and we were like,
Dave's had it before and he's likesuch a nice cocktails, but I've
never had it right. And apparentlythere's links between Madrid and Peru. I
don't know what it is, butanyway, Spain and Peruma el soo,
I mean Spanish invaded Peru. Sothere this drink was everywhere and we kept
drinking it and drinking and drinking it. And it's so tasty and it's so
full of alcohol. It's like fortypercent alcohol. But it's pisco, which

(05:11):
is a brandy which I didn't know. Okay, Pisco sugar syrup, lime,
fresh line egg whites. Oh,mix it all up gorgeous. I
had one last night as I testdone before I was making it for the
party and instantly fell asleep. Nice. Okay, so it's gonna be a
lively party today. But in thevery story is it sour? It is
a bit sour? Are you okay? Can you make mine more sweet?

(05:34):
What would you need? What wouldyou require? More syrup? Yeah?
Yeah, maybe I don't like sourthings. So yeah, that's my welcome
cocktail. And we've got all theother drinks and stuff. So if you
haven't checked it, if you haven'tseen Urovision ever, then I would advise
you to shake it out. It'squite fun. Yes. I also made
great goody bags. Oh, thankyou you did bring goody bags. Yes.
And this week we're doing carehole murders. We are totally unrelated into that,

(05:57):
from vision to care homes and thiswas recommended by our lovely listener Kirsty.
Thank you, Kirsty. I'm yourfirst I am so I am going
to talk about the park Field's residentialcare home. Ooh. It was in
the village of Buttley, near Glastonburyin Somerset. Oh, we do that.
It was owned by June and MalcolmBaker. But from around nineteen eighty

(06:21):
eight was managed by their daughter inlaw Rachel, while their son Lee worked
as a chef there and helped Rachelrun the home. So the son and
daughter in law kind of took itover from the parents family business. Yeah.
Yeah. The home housed sixteen elderlypatients in the main building and nine
others in bungalow's on the grounds,So I assume that people in bungalows probably

(06:43):
needed a bit less Karen could bea bit more independent. Yeah. In
January of twenty twelve, the homefailed inspection and social workers made police aware
of their concerns. After a secondsurprise visit that was a follow up the
next month, they stopped all newadmissions as the standards of care and cleanliness
had actually deteriorated even further between thevisits. So usually, like if you

(07:10):
get like a bad inspection and they'relike advising you, they'll give you advisories
of what you need to do tomake it right. Yeah, unless you
want your business shut down, you'regonna do those things and you're gonna do
them well. But these people justmade it worse. Like they were like
meh, let's make a battle.Oh, God. In April of twenty

(07:30):
twelve, police were called in toinvestigate allegations that staff were staging fights between
disabled residents, as well as poisoninginvestigation regarding the death of ninety seven year
old Lucy Cox on New Year's Day. Oh imagine getting to the ripe old
age of ninety seven and then youget poisoned to death. Oh no,

(07:51):
Like for sake, Police also beganinvestigating the deaths of six other residents were
the previous three years, so itwas seven in total that they were looking
into. Rachel Baker, the wifeand daughter in law, who was forty
four at the time in twenty twelve, was a registered nurse who had developed

(08:13):
an addiction to prescription medications. Okay, and this had gone on over the
years and had progressively gotten worse andworse and worse. While working, Rachel
would steal medication from her patients, lowering their care and their quality of life.
So she would basically steal the medicationand give them something a little bit

(08:35):
less effective, so they were inpain because she was addicted to like a
whole bunch of stuff, really salefish and people. I know, I
will say, like when I wasreading up on this. There were interviews
with residents who were under her care, and they didn't have any complaints about
her. They said that she wasreally nice and very kind and caring and

(08:58):
that they felt that they received goodcare from her. Okay, so it's
just that she was stealing all thegood jobs, the good drugs. So
she took diamorphine, which is relatedto heroin, and when stealing this from
her patients, she would replace itwith the weaker tramadol. Have you ever
had diamorphine, I've had morphine.I don't know what diamorphine is. Diamorphine

(09:18):
in this country is only given toyou. Well, I know, it's
only been offered to me while inlabor. Oh really and it makes a
vomit. Oh so I was offeredto obviously when I had both kids,
but both kids naturally, and it'smade me voment both times. See,
I refused morphine. I think it'sgiven to you. I can't. I

(09:39):
think it's through an intervenous drip.I think it's given to you. I
think. But then I was like, I was way into labor and just
you know, going is diamorphine andmorphine the same thing? I have no
idea, I think, no,okay, because I know, I know.
I was given morphine when I hadmy gallbladder decided to cause a ruckus,
and I was on it for likethree days and I was like stopping

(10:01):
breathing. They had me on somuch morphine it was great. I had
recommented, I've put in diamorphine andit's came up strete wheel at labor.
Diamorphine is an arcotic yoused in thetreatment of severe pain. So I take
it. Well, how is thatdifferent from morphine? Then put in What
is the difference diamorphine and morphine? The difference that's the weird gymorphine. Diamorphine

(10:28):
is two to three times more potentthan morphine. Oh fuck. The estimated
minimal lethal dose is two hundred mg, but addicts may be able to tolerate
ten times as much. Falling injection, diamorphine crosses the blood brain barrier within
twenty secings. Geez. So Iwas injected with that then, but it
made me sick through. Wasn't itjust morphine? No, definitely diamorphine and

(10:48):
brings wow. Okay, every day'sis skilled day. Sorry ended up to
do, but I just wanted tohave that chant. Oh no, that's
great, you had some nice heroinrelated I'm a little bit jealous. Okay.
When tested, pethidine and fentanyl werealso found in Rachel's system. I

(11:09):
mean, cottail. She was onsome pretty fucking heavy stuff. I mean
that's like horse medication. At thetime of the investigation in twenty twelve,
Rachel and Lee had a five yearold daughter, and by all accounts,
she was considered a good person. So she wasn't marble, She wasn't out
to torture people. She was justvery much addicted to drugs. Yes,

(11:30):
it's a bit of a strange onebecause you can you can understand it a
week, can't you definitely what shewas doing. It's a slippery slope.
I think that she was prescribed itfor something legitimate initially, and I think
it was just downhill from addiction. As addiction, any addiction is no easy.
Yeah. Yeah, you just shouldn'tbe in the care like care you're
in the wrong job, like don'tbe a nurse and also addicted. Yes,

(11:54):
or you can just don't work.I don't know. She would doctor
medical records in order to cover herdrug addiction and estimated eight thousand doses of
medication over the years. Wow,so she's taken eight thousand doses of other
people's medication. That's a lot.That is that's a lot. Oh wow.

(12:15):
I'm speechless actually for how the helldid she functioned day to day?
I'm thank you no idea I hadto function. Jeez. I mean,
I take like two eye proof andI'm out. Lucy Cox was ninety seven
when Rachel injected her with tramadol, which turned out to be a lethal dose.
Rachel was charged with her murder aswell as with the death of another
resident. After listening to all theevidence, the jury acquitted her of both

(12:41):
murders, but did find her guiltyof manslaughter in relation to Lucy Cox's death.
Yeah. So I didn't name theother person that she was charged with
because she's not been convicted of anythingin relation to his death. She was
suspected of it, but there wasthere just wasn't the evidence for it.
That's fit enough. Yeah, andmanslaughter for Lucy Cox's death because she was

(13:03):
administering the tramadol. I think shewas under the influs. Well, she
was administering it, but she wasadministering it, not to kill her it
would seem okay, just in lieuof the other medication, but made a
mistake in regards to dosage. Therewas something I read where one of her
coworkers, somebody else from the carehome, said she had overheard her asking

(13:28):
the resident if she was tired ofit all, like tired of living?
Came yeah, okay, But therewas nothing to really substantiate that, and
there was not really any evidence thatshe was an angel of death, so
that didn't really go anywhere. Intwenty ten, Rachel was sentenced to ten
years in prison, and the followingyear she was struck off the nursing register.

(13:52):
I'm going to assume it just tooka year for the paperwork to go
through, because because you would thinkthat it would be immediate, like you
might want to look into your paperworkprocessing there. Yeah, yeah, it's
taken far too long. Yeah. The nursing home was close in twenty twelve,
the same year that Lucy Cox died, and residents were placed in other

(14:13):
locations by social workers. And Igot this from the Standard from April twenty
twelve. There were two articles thatmonth, and then from the BBC News
from May of twenty ten, Howdid I get that from twenty ten?
If it happened in twenty twelve, that doesn't make good times you've got the

(14:33):
year. I don't think I wrotethat down right. It doesn't make it,
doesn't make it mustn't make sense.So we'll just see maybe a nator
just kind of pretend that I didn'tget it. Idea you should be like
some sort of time traveling wizard.Yeah, would have been Netflix. Yeah,
Yeah, anyway, I definitely gotit from BBC News. I just

(14:56):
don't know when. Well done,Thank you you, and we're back.
We are back, and my carehome murderers. I'm going to talk about
a lady called Heather Bestie. I'venever heard of the surname. No no

(15:16):
So. Heather Presty was arrested ona homicide and other charges for allegedly prescribing
excessive insulin to patients. She's anurse from Pennsylvania and was arrested after confessing
to trying to kill nineteen people.Wow. The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office announced
dozens of new charges against her becausethere were two patients that had died and

(15:43):
a third was hospitalized. Right, and then came the compession Heather Presty was
in charge of these people between fivedifferent care facilities between the years of twenty
twenty and the years of twenty twentytwo. She was accused of administering excessive
amounts of insulin to these patients, some of who were diabetic and required insulin
and some who were not. Intotal, seventeen patients died in total in

(16:07):
the end who had been cared forby Heather Choose. So an investigation begins
into the background, and the victimsactually ranged in age from age forty three
to age one hundred and four.Oh my god. Hey, they're typically
administered then enduring overnight shifts when staffingwas low and the emergencies would not prompt

(16:30):
immediate hospitalization. So it's quite aclever way of doing things. Probably over
next I think in terms of thesekind of things, I think when things
are done overnight, they they tendto be kind of overlooked in a way
because I think hospitals are maybe notas fully staffed as they are during the
day overnight, but also in acare home there's a certain degree of expecting

(16:55):
people to pass away. Yes,she was charged in total of mistreatment of
twenty two patients. The charges includedtwo counts of first degree murder, it's
seventeen counts of attempted murder, andnineteen counts of neglect of a care dependent
person. The alleged crimes excuse me, happened at the facilities called Rebecca Residence,

(17:15):
Bellier health Care and Rehabilitation Center,Quality Life Services, Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation
and Nursing Center, and Sunnyview Rehabilitationand Nursing Center. So these were all
in various areas of America. AndI've said Bellier that can't be Ballier as
in fritsh Pins of Bally are kindof where did it take place? What

(17:37):
state was she in? It doesn'tit doesn't actually tell me the staate?
Oh does it not? Okay?I mean bill air can be used anywhere.
It doesn't necessarily have to make it'sin California. Wow. Sorry,
I'm just I'm just thinking just thebelly are just through me. Yeah.
So, she, Heather Presdy, was arrested, obviously charged, and she

(17:59):
is currently in an area called ButlerCounty Prison, which I'm going to find
out where that is. Butler.I'm not prepared at all this week.
Everyone. I'm so sorry, butI've been in a bit of a crazy
holiday and it's taking me time torecover. Butler County Prison is in Butler

(18:25):
in what states? PA? Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania. There you go. So
it's Pennsylvania and mothers Pennsylvania as well. Yeah, oh strange. So she's
currently awaiting trial in Butler County Prison. She is being charged with what was
that I said? In seventeen countsof attempted murder and nineteen counts of neglectedcy
of care. She's waiting on trialand the child apparently is going to be

(18:49):
next year, so twenty twenty five, yes, okay, so she's not
guilty yet. During questioning about thevictims, she allegedly said she felt bad
for their quality of life and shehoped they would slip into a Coleman pass
away. Wait, so she's confessed. Yes, she's confessed them. Oh
so she was I said that atthe beginning. Yeah, sorry, So
she said she confessed to it afterthere's been things looked into in one of

(19:14):
the key home facilities. But sheclaims she had no intent to harm people
as such and made them suffer,so she just wanted them to slip into
coman pass away peacefully. So shewas doing the angine of death routine.
What sorry, she was doing theangel of death thing? Yes? Yeah,
And according to a nurse that workedwith her, they had allegedly heard

(19:34):
her say to a patient that youwould better off dead. I mean that's
not nice. No, So sheclaims that she wanted to end suffering in
a peaceful way. But you know, you can't be in jext people's insulin.
Who but enough of the diabetic canthe the insulin? Fine, but
obviously she's given them too much.Yeah, and she's given injects people's insulin
that don't need insulin? Is goingto kill you? Up to her?

(19:55):
Who lives and who dies? Nope? So yeah. So she's awaiting trial,
which would take place next year twentytwenty five. They've said the tail
end of this year, but itwill probably be next year, right,
Okay, And she's I'm assuming I'mgonna play guilty, yes, because she's
confessed, so it would be quitewise or not guilty by raison of insanity.
No, And that all came frompeople dot com. Oh, I

(20:17):
like people dot com. And itwas a bit of a car crash.
I apologize, sorry, and we'reback we are back. So do we
want to be injected with insulin? We're injected with tramadol, inducted with tramadol.
I'm going the pain killer route.M yeah, I think I think

(20:40):
I'm probably would. I'm clined toagree because I'm a bit weird. I
can told they eate quite a lotof pain killers. But I know I've
said I was sick on diamorphine.Yeah yeah, but those ones that I
got from my tooth recently are likereally quite strong, and I could I
could have eight of them and aday and it was fine. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, I took myway with me as well as handing them
out will and pain pain killers.Everyone's like, oh my god when we're

(21:06):
in a waze. Well, andi'd be fit two of the party and
nurses. And they had quite goodjogs. Also, oh did they nice?
I didn't have any of them,of course I didn't require them.
No. But even though I can'ttotally eat pain cash, I'm thinking Tramadol's
next label isn't it It's it's verystrong. I mean, I had my

(21:27):
TMJ was really really bad once andmy partner gave me. I can't remember
if he gave me one or twoTrammel dol. I think he gave me
two. Wow, And that wasyour first time taking that was my only
time taking One's probably enough. Iprobably would have been enough, but he's
like, no, no, taketwo, like you're you're in a help
a lot of pain. And Iwas like I couldn't obviously, yeah,

(21:51):
And he was watching me, andhe's like, I'm just gonna help you
to bed, and he was likehelping in the very text me and he's
like, okay, midnight, andthen he came back a few times alive.
Yeah. He came back a coupleof times to make sure I was

(22:11):
still breathing. And I was outthe entire next day, like not dead
asleep, but I was in bedthe entire next day really like really groggy.
So I don't like that. Idon't either. I don't like that
feeling pass to pass out, yes, but I want to wake up fresh
the next day. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, And the only time I've
ever felt like that. I thinkDave gave me like a sleeping tablet was

(22:32):
and I think I took one ofthem, and I just I didn't particularly
sleep all that well. Yeah, and I felt really groggy the next day,
feeling that feeling hanging over and Iwas like, never again taking sleeping
tablet because it's not worth it.I'd rather not sleep, yeah than feel
that. It's just the horrible grogginessthat just hangs over your day. You
feel as if you're dragging yourself aroundto do stuff all day. Yeah.

(22:53):
I didn't like that feeling. Yeah, especially like I know, I can't
take anything like that if I'm goingto work the next day. Yeah,
I'd rather just be in pain.Yeah. So then I'm gonna agree with
you with the tramadol. Yeah, speaking of pain, Mill, let's talk
about what happened and are we agree? And this is okay? What what
do you mean? What happened inAbitha? So it turns out so I

(23:15):
went for a girl I went fora girl's holiday Tabitha for four days.
And it turns out that I've hada bit of a life changing experience in
more ways than one. There's afew other stories, it's that will come
out later. So on Friday, last Friday, a week ago, we
were all inclusive and obviously that's threedrinks all day and all night. So

(23:38):
and you're in the sun. Soyou just have to. So we had
a lot to drink on the Friday, and then we got ready to go
out to the Friday next but theSiday, the Friday night was going to
be a big night, right, and we had a gift to give her
friend whose birthday was what was Wegot a Hugo Boss watch. I did
that with watching a watch was I'mlike, I'm putting itstrating when it watches.
So I was really and she'll thinkwe've got nothing. Their birthday was

(24:02):
weeks ago. But the older othergirls like, no, we have to
give it on a holiday, andI was like, oh, anyway,
So we gave it on the Fridaynight and the Friday night was big birthday
drinks night. Yeah, so itwas really good. So we had a
few drinks and blah blah blah, and then it got to about nine thirty
and being remind me we were upthe full night the night before, yeah,
and we were really still quite tired. I was like, I think
I'm just going to go to bed. One of the girls said she was
going to bed actually, and Isaid, I think I might go to

(24:22):
bed as well. Be So I'mreally quite tired. And then someone else
says to me. Someone else justsaid to me, why don't we go
for a drink across the road,And I went, oh, yeah,
let's do that. And then itbecame like the Hangover film. It just
escalated and greu leggs and everything right. So we went across the road to
a park, went out the hotel, were presented with tequila rose shots away.

(24:42):
We didn't ask for them, andthey were massive shots, not just
just under ones. So of coursethe four of us that went across the
road, two went to bed atthis point before us went across the road,
so we went to bed. Twowent to bed, So two of
the party went to bed. Iwent up for it. So four of
us went across the road. Wehad to Killa Rosie shots cocktails Long Island
iced tea cocktails, which were reallystrong. And then we started to talk

(25:06):
about getting tattoos. And I don'thave a tattoo a hundred percent. I'm
one hundred percent against tattoos. Ido not like them, I hate them,
and whatever else. Sitting across fromher friend who was covered in tattoos.
But that's my best opinion of whatwas. Knowing that I've may made
no secret of the fact, andI've done this at work too. I'm
one of the ones that's untattooed atwork, and I've said to the girls

(25:27):
my work, oh, I'm pureand innocent. I don't have any tattoos.
So anyway, so what happened wasin the pub, we obviously got
quite merry, and then my friendwas texting her kids and they were saying,
how's your holiday going, And shewas like, fine, we're all
going to get tattoos. So Iactually started as a wind up to her
kids. So they're like, no, you're not, No, you're not.

(25:48):
She's like, it's where I weregetting this, this, this is
we're all doing it, blah blah. And Mel doesn't have tattoos and one
of my other friend doesn't have tattoos, but they're doing it. And then
she became she started to convince themthat we actually also that would actually be
really funny. Who do do that? Gy more drinks back to a hotel
and we're all geting tattoos at midnightand Friday night. So I had spent

(26:10):
the whole way back to our hotelgiving my friend the pep talk who doesn't
have tattoos. Right, I wassaying come on, I'll be fun.
We'll just get it ahead of everybodywith door bla la so and my other
two friends were like, she's nevergoing to do this, she's never gonna
buy this. I was like,I'll convince that. I promise convinced her,
right, oh my god. Gotto the tattoo place in a hotel,
which was a bad move having atattoo place near the hotel, but

(26:32):
it was a really cool hotel anda really cool place. We're all paying
for our tattoos, right, AndI totally shit it? Did you?
I went, I can't get thisdone. Another three are going You've just
spent ages convincing her to get itdone. What do you mean you can't?
I can't do it? And itwas more for the pain. I
was like, I don't, Idon't, I'll be too sore. I've
never had a tattoo. I don'tknow that, Like it isn't so whatever
else. I was like, right, okay, I said I was doing

(26:52):
it. I'll do it, payingmy forty euros. And then we're like
we had to wait half an hourbecause there was somebody else getting a couple
of people getting tattooed, and thewhole time I was waiting, the Spanish
girl who worked at like front ofhouse at the tattoo place was on Google
Translate constantly translating for me, youwill be okay, it will not hurt,

(27:14):
it will only take five minutes. It will take, but it's good
fucking hurt. And they're like andshe's like, you'll be fine. And
she's covered in tattoos, right,But I kind of fell in love with
her a bit because she's beautiful.Yeah, so not only do I not
like tattoos, I'm getting a tattooand I'm talking to this beautiful woman.
She's like, gorgeous hair, showyou a picture of her, because I'm
not falling in stuff. She wasjust gorgeous and she was like, look
at me, I'm covered in tattoos. You'll be fine. And she was

(27:37):
so nice and so helpful. SoI went first and insisted on going first.
I was like, I'm going first, and my friends are like,
you've given BIRR twice. Yeah, you've had life then and many joys.
You've had a lot of things inyour life that's been really really painful.
You'll be fine. And then Ithought, do you know what You're right?
Oh, I'll be all right,I'll be fine, And it actually
wasn't as bad as I thought. However, I went first and another other

(27:57):
friend who doesn't have a tattoo wasgoing set, so I didn't. I
just played it down for her. She's never getting in this seat if I
go. And it wasn't. Ifound it. I found it obviously.
It's like you can feel the scraping, but I didn't find it. It's
like the burning sensation what I thought. No, No, it's like being
cut, but the pink goes awayas soon as it lifts up. Yeah.

(28:18):
So we just got tiny tattoos onher feet, on the side of
her foot, and the woman translatedin Spanish to me as well. She
went, look, that's probably goingto be a bit sourer than everybody else
because there's not a lot of fatwhen you're getting it. But it was
fine and I got it done.It It was five minutes. It was
fine, and I was like,oh my god. And I stood up
and went, what if this startsmy addiction tato addictions? And I said,

(28:41):
he's like where she get ends upgetting like so and my friend got
it done, another two got done. We all got it done. It
was fine, and then I literallysaid like I was like, oh my
god, Holly's going to kill mebecause I went, I have preached to
her for years about her tattoos.I won't get what I'm going I'm telling
you, she's going to just totallysay that you did when you find out,
uh huh. So while the otherswere getting there's done, I was

(29:04):
talking to the tattoo girl and Iwas like major crush on her at this
point, and I was like,so I googled, I google translated you
are very beautiful and learned it soI could tell her, oh my god,
you absolute freak. I was inthe background practicing for ages. I
can't even tell you what it wasnow, and I kept practicing it,

(29:26):
and then I went over and saidit too, and she went, oh,
they just grassius, and then shedid that with her hands for a
lot, and I was like obsessedwith there for the rest of the weekend
after that, Oh my god.So yeah, so that's the tattoo story.
And I have a for age fortyfive. Yeah, never had a
tattoo in my life, got atattooed in Abitha, Yes, And I'm
not obsessed with the tattooed woman that'sSpanish and works in Abitha. Who what

(29:49):
the fuck are you? Honest togod, But it was just really funny
and I honestly don't regret it.So four of us got it that night.
Yeah, we didn't tell the others, which was hilarious. On this
Saturday, we didn't tell them.So we went down to breakfast. I
didn't say a word, and thenwent down to the sun and then said
to the other we're all six ofus were all lying on sun loungers and

(30:11):
then we were like, oh,by the funny story about last night.
And then we all stuck the fourof us stucker foot up and the two
jaws just draw. Oh my god. It was hilarious. So one of
the others got it done that nightand one just totally refused. Yeah,
which is fair enough, but it'son your foot slap, I don't think

(30:32):
anyway. So yeah, so fiveor six of us got matching tattoos,
and then we messaged you guys weren'tthere on a WhatsApp group and went,
look, five out of six ofus get tattoos. Who didn't get one?
And straight away you other two wentwell, well, I knew you
would do that then, and hewould do me. Then another friend who
doesn't have that before you would getto actually who it was. You got

(30:52):
their third time, which is veryenough because you know the others are covered
in tattoo. Yeah, exactly. It was hilarious. I was. I
got out of the pool and Iwalked into the room to show and I'm
like, you were not gonna believewhat Mel's done. He was like,
what if it start to her addiction? And then I didn't tell my husband.
I didn't want to send a picture. I don't want to tell him
till I came home and told him, I can't believe you didn't tell him

(31:15):
the first day. Well, Igot into Tritay and I didn't tell him
till the monday, I know, and I showed him and he went the
first reaction was policing, that's fake, and I went, no, funny
story, it's not fake. Doyou want to see a picture of me
getting it done? And he waslike, oh my God. Wasn't very
happy about it because he doesn't haveany tattoos and doesn't like like I used

(31:36):
to be, doesn't like tattoos. And then he then he came round to
it and apologized met like, I'msorry for my reaction, but I was
really sure we were all very andnow he flags it quite a lot.
I mean that's fair, and sothere you go. I am seemed to
be having some sort of mid lifetraces, but you know, it could
have been worse. So that's whatstready about a tattoo. Wow, I'm
my tattooed fraind who I'm now followingslash stalking on Instagram. And there's not

(32:01):
a story about that. I'll tellyou that later. But yes, so
it was. It was really funand do you know what, I'll look
at my foot now and I genuinelydon't regret it. I just looked it
at my foot and laugh. Yeah, because I'm like, it's not in
a place where arms or legs areon display, and we're socks eighty percent
of the year, even more socksdebate. She's going to get like her
entire feet tattooed now, and that'sthe only part of her tattooed. However,

(32:22):
as I said to the other girlslike a day or two later in
the sun, I was like,I have to have I believe in symmetry.
Things have to be symmetrical. Yeah, I won't have to do something
else as other food. I wouldsuggest something that's more related to your husband.
No, no, not my husband, my kids, your kids,
because as I heard some some finespecimen say, sometime your kids are always
your kids. Yeah, your husbandand wife is not necessarily your husband.

(32:44):
That's true. That's true. Thatplay and listen, so I might get
maybe a couple I'm saying this, but they thought I was going to do
it there because of the tattoo. You're just going to go back and get
tattooed. Did you see her everyday? But I don't. And now
that I'm back, I'm like,I'm not really, I don't thing I
get anymore. I don't know.I don't think so. No, no,
I don't think so. But yeah, there you go my left paces.

(33:06):
So everyone can slag me. Butwhat but anything for a laugh?
Exactly? Thanks? Great fun,and we're finished. We are agree.
