We should carry on. Yeah.I find this quite good. I find
I got this quite good to research. I find this quite quickly. I

(01:17):
don't have any memory of writing it, so well, this should be good,
then, Oh I do. Yes, Oh mine is really hard.
Yes, it's long. No,Mine's minds is longish, what's new anything
you want to chat about? What'shappening in life? What is happening in
life? I started a new positionat work, so I'm trying to wrap

(01:41):
my head around that right now.You never said, what's this? Yeah,
I got I got a next tearup position for excellent. That's quick.
You'ven live been here for a lotwhile? Done? Nine months?
Eight months isn't how long? Yes, I would never have said that.
Yeah, I know it's gone quick. It's really quick, short space of
time. Well done, thank you. It's not permanent at the moment.

(02:02):
It's just for six months at themoment. Good. But it's still something
you should go on. Definitely,it's definitely. Is it something you would
offer it and then you just thoughtrecommend that you did it or whatever.
It's something that came up because anothermember of the team decided to go to
another area of the business for sixmonths okay, and so I just said,

(02:23):
hey, I want to do that, and they're like, cool,
excellent, Yeah, another thing toput in your TV. Exactly done and
he's doing it, loving it.Good. Yeah. It's nice to be
able to go into a job thatyou love. Studies are they finished?
They finished for now this in thesummer, I'll be signing up for the
next semester for the next courses,so yeah, I'll have to think about

(02:44):
that at at some point in thesummer. Excellent, basically, good for
you. And did you enjoy thestudying? I love it. And I
don't know if I'll love every subjectas much as anthropology because I have to
take some like other courses as partof a degree. But yeah, I'm
I do. I love it.I love I'm quite a nerd and a
like researching or riding, so itsuits me. Excellent, Good for you.

(03:07):
You can a busy and cute shitof trouble you would think I still
buy so much shit I don't needfun. It's very I don't care what
anyone says. Shopping makes you feelbaked. It really does, especially if
you get a bargain. I don'thave any packages coming right now, and
I'm very sad I did. I'mwhispering because you know, but you know,

(03:30):
it's fine. I did buy alot, and I didn't think I
needed much. I did buy alot, but then that will do me
for the next couple of holidays comingup. Or you just put it uninvented.
I got home and put something uninventedright away. There you go.
Yeah, I love vented. Ilove vented. I made enough unvented selling
gifts from previous partners that I couldpay for my flight to London. Yay,

(03:57):
there's a message to send out, sell or you don't want to get
I literally put in all the listingsdivorced the giver. Good for you.
What about you? What is newin your world? Nothing much, just
being crazy busy and looking forward tobeing quiet just now. But we booked

(04:19):
our holiday for Italy. So we'restaying at Lake Como, which a very
amazing and we were staying there's afew kind of good things for the kids
roundabout. There's a kind of likeItalian kind of go ape, and there's
like some like a water sports kindof thing where it's called inflatables in the

(04:41):
water and stuff. And I tookthe boys to one in this country in
October and it was freezing, butI can imagine it'd be much more pleasurable
there in the sun and having fun. So that is that's coming up at
the end of June. So I'mexcited about that because I love Italy.
It's my favorite, and I wentback on to do Lingo Italian. Good
because I did this before I wentto Brands last year. I was like,

(05:01):
I'm rushing up on my range.Yeah, So I went back on
to do Lingo Italian and Dave's sittingnext to me like, oh my god,
and I'm like, classo, No, what was it? Cornetto is
a class on and I can orderthe coffee like you don't even like coffee?
Yeah, exactly, they don't.They don't give you the choice.
You have to learn. But I'menjoying that. So that's what I'm doing
just now. And that'll be mynice break as well, because when you
guys go away, I go awayto your house to look after Roa.

(05:25):
Yeah, and she was what wasshe like when seen you to do?
She was just the cuteness. Youcame out and she was like brushing up
to your legs, like snuggling. She was so sweet. When I walked
into the garden, she didn't evenbark, she just came up to me
and she's like, oh, youlike a little little She's very cute.
Yeah, and she's twelve. Iknow Cleo just turned twelve, so yeah,

(05:46):
see me, she's twelve. Ithink it's in this six or seventh.
Yeah, so, yeah's proper ladye. She's loving stoody act like it.
No, she doesn't know. Andyour first smell, aren't you?
Oh god? I am yes,Okay, you were kind of looking at
me. You have to go onwI was literally waiting for you to start,
and I'm like, how long arewe going to talk about this?

(06:09):
Animals all right? On the twentyseventh of January twenty twenty three, last
year, oh, on newb Newbyyou like current affairs, twenty one year
old Bailey Atkinson spoke his final wordsto a police officer. He said,
I'm going to die. Tell mymom I love her, which is always

(06:30):
very sad. This name means abale, I think, yeah, I
think it was quite quite famous.Bailey had moved from Coventry to walls Walsall,
Walsall, Walsall, Walsall. Didyou say Coventry. Yeah, it's
like the Midlands in England, okay, just north of Birmingham in England.
Two years prior, he had beentrying to leave the gang lifestyle behind that

(06:55):
he had been living in Coventry, but he ended up involved in Walsall's own
warring gangs, so I think itwas difficult for him to leave that behind.
On the night he died, Baileywas out with a female friend in
the town center, walking past themarket stalls, so this was yeah,

(07:15):
it was dead. It was deadof winter, so twenty seventh of January,
and a car suddenly swerved towards them, and Bailey at that point told
his friend to run. Bailey tookoff, running down the high street in
another direction, while two cars whichhad been stolen chased after him. I've
watched the CCTV footage of the entirething. They don't show the death,

(07:38):
but they show the CCTV footage ofthe cars chasing him down, and it
was like they were coming really closeto him, and he was kind of
run and then he would like stopat a corner and then the car would
go past him, and then theother car would come at him and he'd
run in a different direction. Sothey were like properly chasing him down.
Inside of the two cars that hadbeen and were nine people who had all

(08:01):
met up in a supermarket car parkand it was an ASDA shortly before heading
off to hunt Bailey down. Sothis was organized. It wasn't like happen
chance. They met in an organizedway to go do this. The planned
attack was vengeance for an attack allegedlycarried out by Bailey against the brother of
one of the gang members a coupleof months previously. While initially escaping the

(08:26):
cars, they ended up circling aroundand caught up with him further down the
high street. They ended up corneringhim. Okay, so this was still
on the high street like, surroundedby people, middle of the town.
Six people got out of the carsand began attacking Bailey with machetes and zombie

(08:48):
knives, which we've spoken about inprevious episodes. He collapsed on the ground
and the attackers tried to take aphoto of him with their camera and you
can see this in the cc TVfootage, but were scared off by members
of the public who were rushing overto help Bailey, who was laying on
the ground obviously cut very badly.Police arrived very quickly, within three to

(09:11):
four minutes, and they worked tokeep him alive, including open heart procedures
on the scene. So I don'tknow, I don't know how they did
this, And I read this inone of the articles I obviously doesn't show
it on the camera. Yeah,I don't know if he was like cut
open in his chest so bad thathis heart was exposed, because I can't
imagine the officials cutting open a cheston the scene to do that. No,

(09:39):
so like they must have like hischest must have been open and they
were trying to massage his heart. He was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly
after the attack. The cars werefound burnt out just minutes after the attack
took place, so they right awaydumped the stolen cars, burned them to
get rid of the evidence. AndCCV footage was put out there and police

(10:05):
put out a call for help withus to identify the people, and the
public came forward with tips regarding theidentities of the attackers. Good old public,
Good old public, and that's theway it should be, which police
used, along with CCTV footage andmobile phone evidence to arrest sixteen suspects and
conduct twelve man hands across the UKon the twenty first of March twenty twenty

(10:28):
four this year, after a tenweek trial in Nottingham Crown Court. Seventeens
between the ages of fifteen and eighteenat the time of the attack were found
guilty of Bailey's murder. Two otherson trial were found not guilty. I
assumed that they were found not guiltybecause maybe they stayed in the cars where
there wasn't evidence enough to do that. Some of the teens weren't named because

(10:50):
they were under age, like thefifteen year old. Yeah, you've been
able to do that. Yeah,And sentencing is going to be carried out
the month. Oh, we needto keep your eyes. You have to
keep an eye on that. Butthey were definitely found seven of them were
definitely found guilty. And I actuallygot this from an article put out by
the West Midlands Place on the twentyfirst of March twenty twenty four. Very

(11:13):
good, thank you, very recent. Very and we're back. We are
back, and I'm going to talkabout Keith Philpot. Oh no, but
see I panicked when I've seen thisname, because Philpot was the crocodile te
you just remember, Yeah, it'sthat someone different really, because I was

(11:37):
like that, some names not common, it's not common, No, said
family. I don't think so nothingthat I found suggesting it, but maybe
I don't think anyway. March twothousand and five, Keith Philpot was a
vulnerable man from Billingham in England, and was subjected to unimagined torture in the

(11:58):
sanctuary of a own home. MichaelPeerret and Sean Swindon subjected him two hours
of torture before leaving him to diein agony. Keith Philpott was a very
decent and well liked man, andhe had learning difficulties and that day been
all excited beause he just bought himselfa new bike. But he lived independently

(12:20):
on his own at flat which hekept really really clean. He was obsessed
with cleanliness and stuff inside his home. He was obviously attacked by the pair
that I mentioned, which lasted severalhours. Detectives when they found him described
it as amongst the worst crimes theever encountered. So just to go into

(12:41):
the background of it, Keith washaving a reported friendship with one of the
perpetrator's sisters, friendship Okay, andshe had made false sexual allegations against him.
He was thirty six, and thatled the pepper Chasers, Michael and

(13:03):
Sean to seek out revenge. Michaelin particular had already had past convictions for
attacks on wrongly suspected pedophiles. Andafter forcing their way into Keith's home,
he'th actually fled to the bathroom andtried to lock the door, Yeah,
but it was forced open. Hewas then bound by his hands and feet

(13:24):
before being stamped across and stamped onacross his head, face and body.
The final act was that the pepperchasers took a knife and hacked across his
stomach and the cut was so deepthat the victim was disemboweled. Oh God.
Post mortem carried out found that heKeith Philport, had lost a considerable

(13:46):
amount of blood in the cavity ofhis abdomen, indicating that he was alive
when some injuries were inflicted. Canyou imagine that I'm like cleanching with some
much God. Speaking later, thepolice leading the Muddling inquiry said, you
would not expect to see that anda tackle like this in the current day.
It was something you would expect tosee in medieval England and not this
century. Yeah. The pepartators werenot remorseful at all, and they fled

(14:13):
the flat and actually stole his newbikes new bike. His mobile phone was
also stolen and people They reported thatthe two men in question had reported I'd
tried to sell it the following day. He also took his gold ring and
wore it quite happily days after thekilling. Didn't care that's dark yep.
The alarm was then raised when Keithfailed to turn up at his mum's house

(14:37):
the following day. He visited herreligiously most days for dinner. Relatives went
to his flat, looked through theletterbox and could see that the bathroom door
was off its hinges, so theyleft to police. Following the discovery,
his family made a desperate appeal throughthe media and helped to catch the killer
or killers. His brother said thathe was really trusting, unassuming and always

(14:58):
put other people for himself. PersonHe had done anything for anybody and nothing
was any trouble to him. Thefamily were really really desperate to find out
who had done it. Yeah. The crime sent short waves through the community
in the country, and Keith wasactually an identical twin as a result of
a premature bit. He was apremature baby sort. He d suffered to
be learning difficulties life. He'd neverbeen in trouble with police, but his

(15:24):
disability meant that people from took advantageof him. Yeah, so sad it
really is the peppetrators. Sister inquestion used to visit Keith's house with friends.
His family were concerned about the relationship, but for different reasons, because
they believed that she was running upphone bills and using him. In July
two thousand and four, eight monthsbefore he was murdered, Keith told police

(15:46):
that members of the girl's family hadthreatened him and that he was scared to
go out in fear of being attacked. And it actually mentioned the peerpetrator by
name Sean Swindon, who was girl'sbrother that was one of the attackers,
so he knew that these girls wereYeah, so this has been reported before,
which doesn't obviously look very good forthem. Days after the crimes,
Sean Swindon's girlfriend took him to thepolice station and took Michael Peart as well,

(16:11):
and they were arrested days later afterconfessing all to a friend. So
the girlfriends told their boyfriends to turnthemselves in. Yes, oh, good
for them, because obviously they workedthey'd done it. They were tried in
October two thousand and five and pleadedguilty at Tea Side Crown Court, which
is kind of middlesbroy area, England. Shown Swindon was jailed for life and

(16:33):
told that he must have at leasttwenty years. Michael Peartt was also sentenced
to live with them minim of fifteenyears. The Crime Prosecution Service argued that
the sentences were unduly lenient, andthe Court of Appeal in London increased sentences
to twenty eight years and twenty twoyears respectively. Okay, so I was

(16:55):
I thought that was quite good becauseit went from what twenty for Sean,
fifteen for Michael up to twenty eightfor Sean and twenty two for Michael.
And that was in two thousand andfive. So what were on now math
twenty years ago minus two eighteen yearsago, So they potentially could be out.

(17:15):
They could be out. I haven'tseen anything indicating that they've got out.
Enohing deported. But I think whilethe crime is absolutely horrific and he
was not deserving of that, Ithink that the girl should have been the
one responsible for his murder. Asa girl, it sounds like she took

(17:37):
advantage of him and she's falsely accusedhim of something. Now, if somebody
accused, like if I found outsomebody had, I'm sorry. I'm just
googling it out. No, itI had. If I found out somebody
had sexually assaulted one of my children, Let's say I would have similar thoughts

(17:59):
of going and getting revenge on somebody. I understand why they were so upset
and so angry. I don't agreewith their course of action. I agree,
I don't agree. I understand theirfeelings based on what their sister said.
Yeah, she's got a lot tofucking answer for, and she should

(18:19):
have been prosecuted. The fact thatthe guy's like he's actually named one of
the guys, seem like I'm reallyscared of him, Yeah, like several
months beforehand. Yeah, means itwas essentially loving fear. He was living
in fear like. It's a realshame. And the guys are obviously responsible
for his death and they should bepunished. And I don't think I should

(18:41):
ever be let out for how theykilled him, but she should be,
in my opinion, in prison aswell for what she did. Agree.
And that all came from an articlefrom Gazette Live dot co dot UK very
good in twenty nineteen. Actually, okay, we are back. We are

(19:03):
back, So I'm not going topick mine. I don't think you doesn't
get either. Mine is being cutopen with machetes and knives. Mine has
been like cut open. I know, will you will they think you're still
alive. Oh my god, they'reboth so bad. Oh we're going to
keep hold my stomach. Oh they'reboth equally as bad. I don't even

(19:25):
know how to pick this one.I know, can we abstain, We've
never stain. No, we haveto pick one. I think I will
pick. Yeah. It's not pleasant. It's not pleasant. And he was
hunted down as well, so hehad the fear factor of but then so
was Keith. He was living infeet as well. Yeah, perhaps perhaps

(19:48):
he doesn't understand. Maybe they feelextained over it because he had land disability,
so he obviously was scared. Butmaybe I don't know. You wouldn't
think anything would come of it.I don't know. I think I'm gonna
pick mine, the disemboweling part onyours. I don't think I the That's
one of my first fears is seeingmy insides on my outside. I think
I'm gonna have to because I justcan't deal with them. Like I cut

(20:10):
off the tip of my finger onceand I thought I could see the tip
of the bone. I think itwas just cartilage or something. I don't
think it was the actual bone.Like I didn't go that deep, but
it looked like bone, and mybody went into shock. And immediately I'm
like wanting to throw up and everything, because you should not be able to
see your inside. No, no, no, and like this absolutely agree.

(20:33):
I just couldn't handle that. I'veseen tiktoks the people who have like,
and fair play to them, it'stheir choice, but like I have
to have a foot amputatd or something, and then they keep the bones and
then they put them on display, like and it's like I get it,
but also like the thought of yourinside behind your outside is just the worst.
No, I can't. I justcan't. No. So yeah,

(20:56):
I'm gonna have to be with you. Yeah, oh my god, we're
agreeing so much. Look it's thetattoo. It's changed. He I'm a
new person, and I just Iwas just scrolling on my phone there and
I just got really excited because Iguess what's out next week? What's up
next week? Is it? Iloved Queen Charlotte. I was I didn't

(21:18):
watch that until remember you sold meto watch it, and you were like
watch it, and I was like, I don't really know if I'm keen
on it, but it was reallyreally good and I love seasons one and
two and I love the fact thiswas this one's about Penelope. I know,
I know, I'm excited about that, and I need to tell you.
Have you seen Barbie or Oppenheimer yet? I saw Barbie and did you
like it? I did not.I didn't really think. I didn't love

(21:41):
it. It was it. Itkept me laughing. Uh huh. I
would never have paid money for itif my friends hadn't forced me to.
And I was really uncomfortable with singing. Yeah, I didn't like it.
It was like I was expecting cheebut it was like really cheesy. It
was really cheesy. It had agreat message and I get the message.

(22:03):
But yeah, like I I lovedweird Barbie. She was great. It
was. But yeah, no,not for me. Yeah, I'm not
watching that again. No, Likeit's not like if it comes on TV,
I'll watch it, Like Noah,I've seen it and I've seen it
and I could laugh and appecide andit's cheesiness and stuff. But I didn't
love it. No, However,I watched Upenheim by the Night the Day

(22:26):
Before, The Night Before, andI love that. It's a long movie.
It is, but it's it doesn'tfeel like it. And it's really
interesting. Yeah, And I thoughtit was really interesting. Obviously we know
what it's about, but I thoughtit was really interesting. It was really
well portrayed by everyone in it.Everyone in it was brilliant. They were
all singly, very very good ontheir own and it desaved all the awards.

(22:48):
And I just really liked it.I haven't sat down to watch it.
I know the story and I knowthe background of it. I just
don't have three hours of my lifeI'm willing to give to it right now.
One of the girls my watch toldme she went to the cinema to
see it with her boyfriend No I'drather die, and he was talking about
it like it wasn't true, ohright, and she was like, hang

(23:08):
on a minute. You know thisis a two story and it's part of
history. And he's like, no, it isn't this kind of happened.
And she's like, it's in history, it's actual fact. And she was
telling us all more, all killingherself laughing. We're like, so he
did not know about like the youknow anything about it, and they're like,
She's like, no, he justlike he was going to see a
complete film, a film complete basedcompletely on fiction, and she's like,

(23:32):
this is historical fact so much. We're like, oh my god, bless
him. Yeah, but that mademe laugh. But Killing Murphy is just
amazing in it. It's amazing andeverything. Did you watch what's it called
Peky Blenders? Oh? God?Yeah, see, I gave up,
which I don't know. I neverdo, always see a series through to
the end, but I think itgot to the beginning of the last one

(23:52):
and I was like, I'm notreally enjoying this at all anymore, just
completely lost its way. I thinkthere was a point where I didn't like
it as much, definitely. Ithink it was when like she got all
fancy and stuff like that, andthen I had the house. I definitely
like the beginning of the series better. But he is just such a good
actor. Yeah, he's very good. And they're doing a film now as
well, are they And one ofthe guys from ken is actually and people

(24:15):
intersted. You recognize him when youwatch Kin but apparently do a film.
I don't know if it's coming outwhenever it's coming up, but apparently they're
doing it. I love that hejust looks like he gives no ships in
every interview he does, and he'sit's well publicized that he does not enjoy
the sort of fame side of hisjob as such, and you can see

(24:37):
it. There's like so many memesthey go about. Have you seen all
the memes that go about, likerolling his eyes and stuff, look this
or everybody else, And it's justhe doesn't give a ship. He doesn't
he doesn't want fame. He's madeno secret of that. He doesn't do
He just loves acting. He justlikes actly. He doesn't like the fameous
side of it. But I thinkhe's really cool. And Emily Blunt's brilliant
in it, and Rob Gina particularlyis very good in it. You know,
normally you see robertiny Ginian films, just like Erny in different films,

(25:02):
but it's very very different in this, very very good. Yeah, and
Matt Damon's really fine, which Iwasn't expecting. See. This is the
other thing that puts me off ofthe movie is I really don't like Matt
Damon. Do you know Matt Damonlike him? I don't know. I
think it's not any of the Bonnefilms I have. God, he's so
good in them and he's a reallygood actor. The Martians brilliant. Yeah,
it is chalenting, mister Riley,Yeah yeah, yeah, Matt Damon

(25:26):
and the other one near DiCaprio. It's their faces. I just hate them
and I don't real fine, Idon't know why. It's it's not fair
to them, but I don't likethem. But sometimes you just don't like
someone and that's it. Yeah,I've gone off. Ben Affleck. Yeah,
yeah, I'm not well, I'mjust like no. She, however,

(25:47):
Air is very good to the mostrecent film is very very good,
is it? Did you see herat the met Gala? The way she
likes? Snyderly said, I thinkthat is hard. I think that's what
she's like. I've heard that.And you don't get a reputation like that
from nothing. That's the repetition thatshe's got because she's meant to be like
that. Yeah, And when sheshe just snapped and like it was if
the person with a piece of shipthat was asking her. And I was

(26:07):
like, hang on a minute,I love you been madingway without exactly exactly.
I love to make gala. Ilove the frocks. It's just stupid
and you have to be lifted stepby step. When you think about what's
going on in the world right nowand then they're doing things like this,
it's just not right. You can'thelp but get carried to be with it.
Who was your favorite dress? TheZadiah Zindaia that one? She'd a

(26:34):
couple. Yeah, she had acouple of frocks, would you like.
I also think I like her asa person. Yeah, she's cool,
which I think helps. Yeah,And I know people are totally against her
and I am too, but Iquite like him. Karashian's look. No,
no, I don't know what shedid to a waste, but it
just did not she said she likeit was like the in the old days.

(26:57):
It was like crazy, But Ithink that's what I like. Like
she went back to like kind ofit must feeling so uncomfortable, Oh,
definitely, she wouldn't have been ableto breathe. But not a Kardashian fan.
I'm not a Kardashian fan either,But I think I liked the way
that she was mixing like the oldold style of having a tiny waist with
like the robotic kind of armor.Look, it's like a mix of old
now. I liked. I likedit, but obviously I don't like her.

(27:19):
