(00:01):
Good afternoon, folks. It isa beautiful Saturday today here in Los Angeles,
California. I am getting over alittle bit of a cold that seems
to have been trying to sneak inon me. This weather has been doing
some strange things. But then again, it is winter here and it's starting
to feel like it could even bea East Coast winter a little bit where

(00:25):
I've had to a couple of timesput the air, put the heat on
in the house, and put sockson, so, you know. And
then during the day I have toput the air on if I'm in the
car because sometimes it'll go away upto eighty five, you know, eighty
six degrees, and then that nightI'm having to put heat on. So
I'm like a little bit under theweather. Today. We have our Tidbit

(00:48):
Corner coming up right now, wherewe're going to be talking to a young
lady that has accomplished quite a bitwhen I think a little probably lost because
there's so much text people she sharedwith me how she's ben do and she's

(01:11):
like amazing industry and I you know, oh my god, that is that,
and like she's like making it tothe f she makes it to the
follows of max Cover Girl contest andwith our help and a little bit of

(01:38):
a push today and talking about whatshe's doing and say we can get over
the camp. So then this votewhen she's you know, making it to
the finnels of the maxim Cover Girl. She is uh just an amazing She
rides in the film industry with theclass year She won Best Actress of what
the House International Film Festival last year. Not only did she burn a twenty

(02:02):
five books and nomination in the filmcircuit this year is one other than are
you there? I'm good. I'malso just getting over a little bit of
a cold. Oh my, soyou got a little Now where are you

(02:25):
right now? You in La?Are you in New York? Where are
you? Know? You know?I'm in New York. I actually was
in LA. So I just gothome a couple of days ago. I
was shooting a film out in LA, a feature film with a amazing director,
Linda Palmer, who has directed mein the past, and I'm doing
other projects with in December. SoI'm back and forth from LA and New

(02:47):
York a lot. But I'm backhome now. And we get a little
bit of a snook store few daysago. So yeah, it's a little
bit of but nothing to me,nothing beats to me, Nothing beats the
restaurants in New York though. I'mserious, like New York has the best
places to eat, I give younot. Yeah, you know it's true.

(03:08):
I mean, you know, Ithink in New York City it's such
a diverse there's so many different culturesand you know, different kinds of food.
You could eat anything you want. And it's funny because a lot of
people who come visit me in thecity who are from the city say the
same thing. They're like, howdo you not you know, just eat
all day long because there's so manyoptions here. But it's true, it's

(03:30):
very, very true. So,well, you're in great shape, you
look amazing. You know. Speakingof looking amazing, tell us about this,
your whole maximum cover girl making itto the final scenario, tell us
about that. Yeah, so Iyou know, I really started modeling on
a whim. Later in life,I have started acting and just through there,

(03:54):
you know, I had a friendwho's a makeup artist. O're in
England, was like, you know, I really loved the features, so
she did my makeup. We dida photo shoot and from there I had
a couple of small modeling things Idid, and then I did Larel Larel
hair events for modeling, and thenyou know, I would model for a

(04:15):
few designers here and there. Iended up doing some fashion meet things and
went to parents as well. Sothat was all kind of once in a
lifetime new experience for me. So, you know, I came back and
somebody I knew was doing the MaximumCompetition. It's not I mean, it's
a beautiful genre, but I hadn'tyou know, done it or featured it

(04:38):
before. But I looked at themagazine and I'm like face photo, you
know, they look very tasteful andbeautiful. I felt like they were sexy
and classy at the same time.So I said, why not on a
challenge? My father was a prizeaward. But you know, I didn't
really I you know, I thoughti'd be in for a couple of weeks

(04:59):
or so. So as release goingon, it's been a very long competition.
It's been I think about two monthsnow. I kept winning, you
know, being in the first place. I mean it would go once in
a while, would go back andlike spec the third, but I made
up in first and so after acouple of months, here we are,
and as it got closer, Irealized, you know, there is a
prize award if you were to win, not to mention the opportunities that come

(05:24):
just from being in the competition andbeing now in the top twelve. I
think they said thirty two thousand girlsor so had been selected to enter,
so that's how many models, andit's the international competition, so people from
around the world. So I hadan idea because, besides, you know,
acting, I also occasionally make filmsthat kind of have a some kind

(05:46):
of social message associated with them.So I thought to myself, there is
a feature film I've been wanting tomake that highlights an important social issue that
women's face. So I said,you know, if I win, I'll
use that money help on my nextfilm. My first film that I wrote
and produced the lead story writer, and that I had two friends come on

(06:08):
and help its co writer. ThatI accident was also a film with a
social message about any wife's care, and that ended up doing a bit,
you know, a bit, uh, a bit better than I had anticipated
with screenings and accolades. So Ifigured I could try to raise a bigger

(06:28):
budget for the next film. Makeit a bit longer and get another message
out there. So with that said, yeah, and all directed by Mind
the Plummer. And that said, you know, the competition goes on both
I am new to the genre.I've been working hard, you know,
just promoting. I did a coupleof interviews one my hometown for Art Voice,

(06:55):
and you know, I have avery I you know, I'm not
in that genre. Yeah, I'llknow. I mean, I guess I
am now. But I have alot of amazing support from filmmakers, actors,
directors, you know, modeling friends, my runway modeling friends, designers,
people from medicine, you know, people from all different walks of life.

(07:15):
So that's been very special to me. So I could use anyone's help.
Who wants to go on and vote. It's a you know, you
can vote once every twenty four hoursfor free at the Daily Vote, And
if you want to give a littlebit extra, there's Warrior Votes, which
sound good fun because it helps themodels give a little extra votes and also

(07:35):
goes towards the Wounded Warrior Projects, which is for disabled veterans who have been
injured in comeback and need a littleassistance with their homes. So it's certain
because and it also it would helpme make my film as well. Well.
Congratulations and thank you so much forcaring about us veterans. I am

(07:58):
