that I'm not grateful. I feel so honored to be
with these women, to hear their stories and to share
(00:45):
them with you, to let you know that every single
one of us is a place of possibility and potential,
and that we get to say yes to who we've
come here to be and allow the vision, the eternal
divine universe vision that wants to come through us individually,
to come through and support the collective. So I do

(01:28):
lot of resources, a lot of things are happening in
my world and I really want to support you. So
today I have a repeat guest. Her name is Cindy
Dipte and she's the founder of CEO, sec eight and
(01:48):
my board Pod and she helps founder led businesses scale
into corporates. Her work blends strategic insight with hands on
ensuring businesses move from startup to corporate with confidence and
in the spirit of building resilient businesses. Her vision is
(02:10):
finding expression continent wide through pairing and twinning businesses, founders
with diasporin investors in business awakening conferencing that curates destination
master classes and conferences. And I'm so grateful she's here.
(02:35):
She is my guest from South Africa.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Thank you so much, Cynthia. I'm so happy to be here.
Thank you so so much. I really appreciate the work
that you do. I love you so much. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I love you too, and I'm really grateful. So for
the people that didn't meet you last time. How did
you grow up? I'm sure you didn't drop on the planet.
Being a founder of people leading the people the business.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
I wish I did. Sometimes it feels like I did. So.
I grew up in the rural Quasul Natau, which is
a province in South Africa. Well, I think all provinces
have the rural area, but I grew up in the rurals,
so I spent a lot of time in my imagination.
(03:24):
So there's this world that existed, which is outside the
world that I suppose everybody is in, and I keep
wanting to veer myself back to where everybody is. But
it's so much fun in my imagination. That's how I
grew up. I spent so much time in the space
of nothing is impossible.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah. And big family, little family, big family. We are thirteen.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I've got twelve siblings and I am two of the siblings,
and so it's a very big family. We have gatherings
from time to time. It's a lot of fun. And
now we are grown, most of us are still young ones.
But it's a lot of a lot of fun. That
(04:14):
and the grand people who you know, our children, and yeah,
it's an amazing big family.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Well, first of all, bless your mother. I just want
to say, thirteen children is not for the faint of heart.
And so there was a lot of energy in your house.
I am clear, yes there wise, but just to a
bit of caviy on that. So it takes a village.
So it took a couple a few women to get
(04:41):
that done. So family, Yes, a thinteen, but it took a.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Few women to get us there. Another story for another day.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Amen. Well, the last time that you were on you
talked about Cross Border Trade Strategic Conversation Summit, and that
is happening this year, So tell me and tell the audience.
What was the idea for this cross Border Trades Conversation Summit.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yes, so, in the spirit of the evolution of entrepreneurs
to enterprises, we thought, well, with the clients that we have,
there's a lot of need to expand their knowledge, to
expand their networks and among themselves, there's an inter trade
(05:35):
that can happen, open markets and work with other stakeholders
to access new markets. And that's basically where the idea
came from. So the last time I was here, I
was talking about the conference that we're curating, which will
be in South Africa, and we had put the date
of September twenty twenty five for the conference. I think
(05:56):
it was any last year that we were talking about that.
As we were going through the planning with it being
our first conference, then we decided to start with little
summits one day summits as build up breadcrumbing it if
you will, of what basically the conference will be about
the essence basically of what I'm saying is what we
(06:18):
are putting together is a community that will work as
a network to support one another as we venture into
different geographies, as we grow our businesses. Yes, it's an
opening of markets, it's an access, but also it's just
helping one another to not start from scratch. You know,
(06:41):
I don't have to move as a South African to Kenya.
I can work with the Kenyan to get things done
from that side. So that's yeah, that's what we are
working with. So we're looking forward to it. Its promising
to be exciting.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Well, it's beautiful. Well it's a big vision. So I
guess I just want to know how does bringing all
these people together support your business.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
So the core of my business is corporate governance, and
the core of what we do is basically work with
entrepreneurs that have established themselves. They are very clear on
their brands. Their brands are solid. Now it can grow
into an enterprise. So when we grow into enterprises, sometimes
(07:36):
it involves partnering and sometimes they're partnering can go outside
the borders of whatever country. So that is how it
benefits my business, but also benefits our clients and the
people that we're working with. It's a concept that is
beyond just our clients, because what we wanting to do
(07:58):
is to create a network. Then is you know, in
the mindset of supporting one another. It's it's an African
way of doing things, you know, community, let's pull together. Well,
I don't have to toilet alone.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
That's exactly right, That's exactly right. So all of this
focus is on the continent. It's like it's like it's
like countries within Africa, right that are working together? Yes,
And are any of those people already partnering with people
in other parts of the world, you know, Europe, the
United States, anyplace. Are any of them doing that?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Absolutely that all our speakers are actually coming from Canada.
They are saying, we want to work with Africans, we
want to invest in African businesses. We'll be doing that
and that is part of the things that we'll be discussing.
We say, Okay, what is it that you're looking for,
what are the expectations, this is what we have and
(08:58):
how can we work together. So it is not only
people in the continent. It is the dashborns as well
Africans that are not in the continent.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Oh I love that, Okay, So then talk to me
about what's next, because originally it was going to be
a conference and now the summit. So what's the next idea,
what's the big idea?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
So the big idea is still the conference, and the
conference is still kind of this ultimate that will do
every year. The summit are the building blocks to the conference.
So with mining, for instance, sustainability in mining is important.
(09:42):
Where we are with life after mining, the towns that
we dependent on mining, so there's a whole when you change.
There are cities that were built around the mine. So
what happens when the mining is no longer they what
kind of livelihood would those people have? So those are
the visitions that we are heading. New businesses that are
(10:03):
offshoots from the mines, the dums that are now not
in the holes that are outside. There is some video
or that what happens to that, So those are the
conversations that will be heaving. We go into Tanzania because
Tanzania is very big on mining, and then again we
have these summits. But these summits are bread crumbs that
build us to the conference. Ultimately, we will still have
(10:27):
the conference. The date will be read. We will go
back and decide on the date because September may not
be feasible, but we'll do the summits and then we
build up to the conference.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Okay, So what I'm hearing is that you know it's
a good idea to pause and not do this conference
in twenty five and maybe open it up to twenty
six so that you can go to you can bring
in more people and more countries to collaborate and connect.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yes, yes, I think we had underestimated how big this
thing is and there is a lot of interest. You know,
we're getting interest from Ghana, We're getting interest from other
countries as well. So we thought, let's do the right
thing and just give it good attention and not haste
through it.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
It's so wise. It's so wise. Now you have a
big job, you have a big company, you have big vision,
you're doing big world. How you know this is for
the women in the audience. How are you taking care
of yourself?
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Do you take care of myself? I love traveling. I
at least every four to seek if it's a bad Yeah,
or it's low yer.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I travel, I'm.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Out of the country and I'm going overseas somewhere, and
it is, yes, hybrid work, but it's also leisure, and
that is how I take care of myself. But then
I'm also fortunate that I'm an empty nest, so I've
got all the time in the world.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
You don't even look old enough to be an empty nester.
I just want to say, let me But so so,
here's the thing. For women who are entrepreneurs, who are
wanting to build their business or bring their vision to life.
What what what's important for you to tell them? What's
(12:34):
important for them to know?
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Yeah, you know what I find with us women, and
it's not meant to be a general statement, but it's
just what I see more often than I would like
to is the self trust. We tend to sometimes think
that there is a way of being, you know, there
(12:57):
is some model that we are supposed to express as.
And all that I can say to my sisters is
your agency. Never abandon that, your sovereignty. Don't abandon that.
Take yourself along. What you have to say, metas your idea,
(13:17):
metas you know. We need you fully as you are.
You don't have to adjust yourself. You come fully as
you are, and I wish more and more women can
actually do that.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Well, that is so beautiful, I think, and I think
it's it's important to be said in this moment on
the planet because women are feeling under attacked, they're feeling
not supported, they're they're feeling they're feeling misunderstood and and
not and not nurtured into their greatness. And so what
(13:52):
you just said, you know, don't give up on your agency,
don't give up on your gifts, don't give up you
know absolutely So if people want to know about your
summits and what's going on in your in your world,
how do they find you?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
So I am on b A conferencing b A conferencing
dot Africa. So that's where all the information is. That's
where we post everything. B A conferencing dot Africa. That's weird.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
And is it like B the B and the letter
A Africa BA Africa dot com.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Okay beautiful, yes, sorry, b A conferencing Dot Africa, b
A conferencing Dot Africa.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
B A conferencing Dot Africa.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yes, yes, at b A is in business awakening okay conferencing, yes,
b A conferencing Dot Africa.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Beautiful. Okay, So I I asked the same last question
of every guest I've ever had, and it's This show
is called Women Awakening. Tell me why you think it's
important for women to awaken at this moment on the planet.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
I think as women, if we are to be true
to ourselves, is to tailor ourselves to the truth, the
bigger truth with the capital tea that is and awakening
is nothing but really connecting ourselves with the truth of
what life is, which is God. And it's very important
(15:31):
that we do that because then we are able to
then walk in the fullness of our power.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Oh that is so beautiful. Well, thank you so much.
I think that every human being on this planet is
being asked to tap into their authenticity and the truth
that lies within them. I really really do. Well, I'm
very grateful you've been here. I'm very grateful to follow
(15:59):
your journey and to see how it's unfolding. And so
I hope you'll come back when we're going to talk
about the conference, because I think it'll be great.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Yes, and we would love to have you over. But
little Dinikki took some more about it.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Yeah, well, I'd really love to come to South Africa.
I definitely would.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Thank you so so much, Cynthia. I highly appreciate this
and thank you for the wonderful work that you do
for us. We've been really appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Oh, thank you darling. Okay, ladies, I say the same
thing to you in a different way every week. But
the essence is that you matter. Your brilliance, your wisdom,
your gifts, your power, your insights, your revelations, your voice matters,
(16:53):
and so no one can take that away from you.
You get to hold that close to your heart and
stand in the truth of who you've come here to be,
because whether you call it spirit, universe, God, whatever you
choose to call it, you are so important that that
energy made itself available to be you. So thank you
(17:16):
for being here. I love you and I look forward
to singing you on the next show.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Bye.
