WWE's NXTNA—a snarky shorthand for the NXT-TNA-AAA mashup—smells like a calculated middle finger to AEW, cloaked in cross-promotional chaos.
Ricky Starks, rebranded as Ricky Saints, went from AEW's midcard darling to NXT's dual-title kingpin in six months, snagging the North American belt from Shawn Spears in April and toppling Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at No Mercy.
NoDQ.com crowed the Femi match as WWE's "F.U." to AEW, spinning a supposed jobber into a titan.
Never mind Starks' AEW resume—wins over CM Punk, Jericho, FTR for tag gold, the 2023 Owen Hart tourney, and 2022's World Title Eliminator and Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal. Jobber? Hardly. WWE's just rewriting history to dunk on Tony Khan.
Then there's the "Invasion" fiasco. Naming an NXT-TNA clash on October 7—anniversary of the 2023 Hamas attacks—sparked outrage in Israel, with outlets like Israel Hayom slamming WWE's "preposterous" A quick rebrand to "Showdown" doused the fire, but the blunder screams careless empire.
Meanwhile, NXTNA's real game is counterprogramming AEW, with Khan shrugging it off to Going Ringside: "Tough competition makes us work harder. AEW's 2025 ratings and streaming surge suggest he’s not sweating it.
Elsewhere, MLW's Cesar Duran took a swing at WWE's Saudi "blood money" deals at Fury Road, while Salina de la Renta hyped their "choose violence" ethos.
TNA's Santino Marella, meanwhile, dreams big, telling Lucha Libre Online that a TV deal could vault TNA to number two, fan-driven over Khan's deep pockets. Good luck catching WWE's juggernaut, though—Marella admits it’s untouchable.
NXTNA's a bloated flex, recycling talent and rivalries while tripping over its own hubris. Starks shines, but the real story is WWE's shameless chess game—global missteps and all—against a scrappy field that’s punching back.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Podcasting since two thousand and five. This is the King
of Podcasts Radio Network, kingo Podcasts dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm why some of the company putted up their big show.
I shipped it off to Saudi Arabia to.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Take that blood money.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Wee wee come here with the real deal right here.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
I ain't Texas.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
WHOA you you barrick with and believe it or not.
Whether you like it or not like it, learn to
love it because you have listened to wrestling and real
it is the best day going today.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
WHOA the worldwide leader of podcasting excellence, The King of
Podcasts Radio Network probably presents the wrestling's real podcast because
wrestling thieves us.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
I love that. Caesar Duran and MLW Fury rode over
the weekend a great show by the way, if he
didn't have a chance to catch it on YouTube. And
on top of what he said there on the program
was that remember that image leagu wrestling. We don't play soft,
we don't play safe, we choose violence. Mlwho is becoming

(01:24):
easily a wrestling program that just doesn't give a shit.
We just get good wrestling, we get good storylines. It
is the epitome of what I want in my wrestling.
I just wish we had you know, it would be
nice if the melwhead some more access to weekly programming
on a better channel than be in Sports. Nothing against
be in Sports, but you know, I don't look out

(01:46):
of my way to go find that channel. And you know,
but either which way, listen the pay reviews on YouTube.
I am grateful that he put those on. I haven't
seen Fusion in a long time on if that show
still airs. But the thing is, the pay reviews are fantastic.
I love it, and I'm happy to go ahead and
say that. I love to go and catch thows every
chance I get when they're doing them. So it's good stuff.

(02:09):
So I don't have to going to say much about
MLW is the fact that they're just good stuff. It's
always that thing to of us say so. In the
days of the many night wars, okay, we always had,
of course, the two main companies were going up against
each other, the two largest. Now it's a different feel

(02:31):
this time around because of the fact that WE is
absolutely the instigator. They are the bully here in this
particular war. AW doesn't want anything to do with it.
They just want to kind of stay out of it,
and Tony Kahn, you know, going into the sixth anniversary
of Dynamite tonight. He's just going on with his own thing.

(02:54):
And people can go ahead and complain. And they don't
like some of the storylines the booking, Oh why didn't
you know Kyle Fletcher, Keny Omega go at words and
now we're gonna get Kenny Omega and Andrede returning tonight
on Dynamite. Okay, they don't like that. They're like with
that Hayman Paige and some old Joe. You know, I
like it. Listen. I'm not worried about the that their

(03:17):
con continuity or the rhyma reason is gonna be absolutely perfect.
But for me, I enjoy their content. Aw I enjoy
what they're doing, and I'm not even so much worried
so much about W right now, which you know, people
were saying, Hey, listen, you can enjoy the EO Sky
oscar Re Ripley triangle right there. That's going on. Sure,

(03:41):
But my focus more than anything is what's going on
with what WW is doing, which is even more diabolical
than the Monday Night wore aspect of trying to go
and do right now, to take out their opponent and
they're not doing a good job of it. But we'll
get to that in the moment. But when we had

(04:02):
we and W CW ECW was our alternative, and it
was a wonderful alternative, and of course before T and A.
But MLW right now, to me is the standout NWA.
You know, they got themselves on Routkou and you know
they're trying to get themselves up and going. But you

(04:23):
know Billy is doing he's doing yeoman's work over there.
I mean the town that he has to work off of.
It's you know, he's really working off of a younger
roster in a lot of cases with some stars that
are there that are veterans that are definitely capable, but
I mean, they don't move the needle for me as

(04:44):
much as I would like them to. And you know,
it's partly the fact that when we had that, COVID
really did make a difference with everybody because NWA was
on an upswing and it's been tougher them to go
and getting themselves back on that surefooting once again after coach,

(05:05):
because it was very tough for them to go and
get back into it. Plus on top of the fact
that the shows that they've done, you know, they haven't
had some of the standout things that really made enjoy
the product. But unfortunately, because they had stars that moved
off to somewhere else when Camille left, that was a
big draw for them. And I really enjoyed what they're
doing over there. And it's been tough, you know, they

(05:31):
just there's been some changes there and some of the
stars that have replaced some of the other stars they've
had there, it's been tough. And some of them been
kind of around for a long time, with Chris Adonis
or Tom Latimer and you know, some of the others
they've had there for a long time. But they've been

(05:51):
trying to work their way up the ladder. But I mean,
I still want to keep an eye on them. I
just catch ware their clips and I catch where their
to or X feed more than anything else. But the
other thing too is that it's also kind of like
for me, if I can't catch them doing anything live
too much, and that their content is taped so far
in advance, it is a bit tough to kind of

(06:13):
get into because they're having a repurposed crocket cup or
they're having a repurpose, you know, the anniversary show, things
like that with MW. I mean, the one thing I'm
getting off of them is that we're getting live shows,
Like when don't we get a chance to watch them?
The shows are live, which just as the aspect of it.

(06:34):
And Dobrowski does a great job on commentary. If it
was the Austin area who was on the Opera cup
working this week in action and then you had Tom
Lawler on commentary, I love all that stuff. Everything goes
Mad's cruel Krueger. I like the character, the whole thing
set up, the new skyscrapers with Dye Jack and Bishop Dyer.

(06:55):
I love all that. The CMLL stars that we don't
get to see over in aaw but we're getting to
see them here in those respects. I love Selena Delaurenta,
Caesar Duran and my old days of Luja Underground are fantastic.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
So all that.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Right there, what Cort bar is doing over there, it's
still fun. Matt Riddle, you know, Sotshi Kajima, there's just
a familiarity and I enjoy what they're doing. And it's
also nice that you know they've had a number of
stars that came out of that whole run, m JS
Jacob five to Josh Alexander, Myyron Reed, the Young Goat.
I would give those names as some of the names

(07:37):
that came out from there, not Josh Alexander Ssuming, Alexander Hammers.
Still that's what I meant. But still some of those
stars they've had around that meant something. It's great stuff.
By the way, riger Holiday, glad to see he's gonna
be in NWA. Congrats to the hymn. So although they
can't see that. And that's the thing is that I've
actually cut myself on some of the alternative wrestling programs

(08:00):
because you know, besides AW doing their thing, Listen, they're
on their own lane. I don't think they're trying to
play a part into anything that w' is trying to
do right now, because what w is drewing it now
is just something really out there and wild, and I'm
just trying to figure myself out with what they're doing here.

(08:21):
And there are so many things I cut up on
my x feed over the last week that I thought
I'd go ahead and bring up here and make the point.
MVP focus inside the ring of TMS Sports and has
his comments right now on the landscape of the WNAW.
He says that that's right now is putting too much
emphasis on profit and pricing out grassroot fans.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Quote.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
I'm weigh my words here because I want to make
sure I say this the right way. I think there's
been an emphasis on profit with this, the increasing corporatization
of one side without regard for the fans who help
make the company what it is. Listen, I could have
gone through the show tonight for Dynamite at hard Rock Live.
Tickets were, like you know, at some of the area,
We're thirty six bucks starting at thirty six reasonable, very reasonable,

(09:04):
and looks like the seats were good because it's all
concert seating in there. It looked great in there. By
the way, tonight too, they had a good crowd in there.
I would have absolutely gone to it, but Wednesday night
to Miami or Hollywood, then that's necessarily h It's a
bit much. I wasn't necessarily going for that, and just
things have been hard for me to get down that
way and really make the time for it, so I
thought about it. But absolutely more affordable than the times

(09:28):
I looked at anything that w is doing, which was
three times more on the cheap seats just to give
you that. MVP goes on to say that I think, aw,
we're still very concerned about the grassroots fandom. At the
end of the day, it's all all business, Professor, Wrestling
is a business. You could have your artistry and your
artistic take, but you can can't forget this arresting business.

(09:49):
If no one's buying tickets, if no one's tuning into
your shows, if no one's buying your pay per views,
which even that model is going out the door, then
there's no place for you to do what you want
to do. So you got to remember the business of
pick of things. However, I question maximizing profit to the
point that you price. Have those grassroot fans who have
been missing, who've been there since day one, and they
are I've seen more pricing now, four events coming up,

(10:12):
and it's mind blowing. Let me go back here and
see what I saw here. Pricing came up today that
I just saw and once again for the last match
of John Cena and his retirement tour, all right, Saturday
NIGHTX Man event and this particular show they are labeling

(10:34):
as John Cena's last match. It will be held at
the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Capitals on Capital One Arena
in DC December thirteenth. The tickets for that show right
now is between your standard seats that are two hundred
and fifty to three thousand dollars if you are on

(10:56):
the camera side, ring side, first row, eleven thousand, five
hundred dollars for that ticket, one night, one ticket, because
when I talked about WRESTLINGIA tickets, those are two day passes.
Second row on the ramp it's nine five hundred dollars.

(11:18):
A ticket in the fifth row on the ramp side
six thousand, five hundred dollars. Sects, that's wild. Eleven thousand
dollars for first row to be a part of this.
And then again the bucket seats two fifty for the
cheap seats. That is ridiculous, But that's what they're doing

(11:41):
right now. So that's the comments from the AW and
WW coming out of MVP. Let's talk about Santina Morello,
who has been now one of the lead match pickers
there in TNA right now, which, by the way, what
TNA has become now in this new partnership with NXT

(12:02):
in the last year since Scott the Moore was ceremonially
dropped just like that. Obviously, if he was going to
be a part of this, he probably would have pushed
back a lot to what was going on here. And
for those that want to go ahead and compare what

(12:22):
Tony Kahn did with TNA when aw was there, you
have to take COVID into consideration because TNA was only
going to do Skyway Studios in Nashville and run their
shows and to have AWB there for NWA. For TNA,

(12:43):
it was just trying to do a congloboration just to
keep those promotions together for the good of the talent,
for the good of wrestling. So I think it was
a different time. And yeah, Kenny Omega, sure he had
the belt, and just like any prom that's the bigger
promotion working with a smaller promotion. Yeah, of course, Kenny
Omega becoming their world Champion, not losing it to a

(13:06):
TNA original per se, but losing it to Christian Cage
who then lose the belt to Josh Alexander, right, and
then you saw that. Okay, fine, I understand that part.
They didn't necessarily set somebody up to go and become
that top tena star that was going to go ahead
and take the belt off of Kenny Omega and never

(13:27):
played that Kennyeomego is not gonna drop the belt with
somebody else in TNA per se got it. So yes,
you can go ahead and think that blame there, But
for Tony Kahn, he did not try to take advantage
of this company like they are doing right now. Carlos
Silva and this Anthem Entertainment Sports Group. They are allowing NXT,
the ww RM right now to just run roughshot now

(13:51):
to the point they have been convinced now to do
to replicate the two thousand and one Envision angle, which,
by the way, the Invasion angle is such a bad
idea right now. And I'm not even talking about the
fact that they were Israelis. You know that arew fans

(14:13):
that were upset because of the fact that they were
going to call the TNA an NXT event on October seventh, Invasion.
Remember this, folks. The reason they changed the name from
Invasion to showdown that they already did it. It wasn't
because they used the name itself. It's the fact that

(14:33):
nobody could have put together the idea. Oh you know what,
we're running this on October seventh, and when people think
of October seventh in the culture, people that watch news
might be a little bit political. Yeah, they might forget
there was a war that started that time, and that's
the problem, and that sucks. But yeah, unforced error on

(15:01):
w's part. Listen, I mean it happens, okay, but somebody
should have had the forethought that say, you know what,
we shouldn't be calling this invasion. Santina Morella says that
TNA will be the number two promotion once they have
a TV deal. Quote, we're knocking on the door. You
better look out, because once we get that TV deal,
we're number two.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Man.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
I know Tony kNs has lots of money, but I
get it. But the fans speak. The fans addict, who's
number one? Number two? Number three, not your bank account.
Of course, WV is number one. They're so far ahead
that will never catch it in my lifetime. Number two
is attainable. Number two is something we could really do
if we can accomplish that as humongous. He tells that
to lootalybri on Line Centino, TNA was a number two

(15:41):
company early two thousands, roughly from two thousand two up
until let's say, yeah, twenty fifteen, not actually twenty twelve,
because the Ring of Honor took that over because once
TNA allowed another disruptor and Eric Bischoff and Jok Cogan

(16:05):
to go ahead and get in the ears of Panda
Energy and Dixie Carter to try to take things to
another level with TNA and that same respect oh number
two going up against W no no, and they did it,
and it failed. Going to move that show to Monny
Night was an ultimate failure and TNA only until the

(16:29):
last couple of years finally have recovered from that major mistake.
There was an epic error to the point that TNA
was on its last limbs, almost out of business. At
least Ring of Honor has sinclaired to kind of prop

(16:49):
that company up, and then to the credit Tony Kah
decided to bring it by Ring of Honor outright for
the Neutlears property and what he's using it with a
was his his own basically developmental property with some of
the other talent that's in there within that is, you know,
originally of the Ring of Honor realm. But the thing
is is that I mean, you want to say that

(17:12):
another TV comes back in with what channel? Okay, what
you go to AAA and E. You think CW is
going to pick you up? As far as I know. Listen,
we're less than two weeks from boun for Glory. I
haven't heard about a TV deal yet, so we got
to wait on that anyway, and there's no rush on
that either. It would be nice to be announcing an
unbound for Glory weekend, but I don't think it's going

(17:34):
to happen now at this point, have or anything else.
The thing is right now with wrestling. If it could
have been done sooner, that's one thing, because right now
w's right now has been in a pretty good lane
with TKO Group Holdings banking on TV deals. They've been
on it for the last year, Okay since October one

(17:57):
last year. Remember SmackDown to USA Network, then we get
Netflix with Raw, CW with NXT, and now the ESPN
deal with the paper views off of Peacock. I mean,
that is a grand slam of TV deals that this
company has done. I will never take that away from

(18:20):
TKO Grip Holdings. They have done a fantastic job of
making money every single dollar they can from the Saudis
from the fans and from the television partners. Oh, they've
done bank, major bank. But the expectations now for w

(18:43):
Most importantly, I don't know who it was that brought
the idea along, that thought, Okay, we need to delve
ourselves into these other organizations. Listen, when Triple H was
given the NIL deal, when he was told, hey, NXT
needs to have their own satellite offices, let's start building
up and bringing talent in and recruiting it from within

(19:06):
the NAL program. Let's start getting athletes from within. And
Triple H obviously bucked at the idea when he still
had Vince McMahon still leading the charge. He didn't want
to do it. So what is this thing we're doing now?
You are pillaging promotions. You're not trying to develop talent

(19:29):
there for the purpose of beinging to the main roster.
And by the way, all these different things you're doing
right now with n XT, with TNA, with Triple A,
it's not going to lead anytime soon to somebody making
the main roster. Can we make that clear? Who is
going to be making the main roster out of anybody

(19:49):
that's in this whole conglomeration right now what I'm calling
NXTNA NXT is NXT, the N is TNA, and the
A is Triple A. This conglomeration, it's nothing like I said.
It's linear. No one is moving up, and no one's

(20:09):
going anywhere but sideways. To the point that I don't
even know what we're doing with TNA right now. We're
going to Bound for Glory. There's so much NXT ication here,
and before we get the Bound for Glory we have
Invasion and this invasion angle. I guess I thought I
was gonna start at Bound for Glory. No, we're gonna

(20:31):
go right through it beforehand. Is this even going to
help out TNA for the Bound cler for Glory show?
Because I don't see anything talking about it. This invasion
storyline right now is sucking the air out of Bound
for Glory. I honestly don't know what TNA's doing right now.
So last week they ran Victory Road, one of their

(20:53):
B level pay per views, a TNA plus pay per view,
and actually through with some things that happened on the show.
So a lot of matches on the card, like Santana,
who's gonna be going for the world heavaway title. Had
just a kind of a set up match with Rich
holland n XD star to go and put him in

(21:15):
that Matt Cardona and the former Deaner now the hometown
man over the nemes. Then you have most of Ali
and Moost effaced each other. These matches meant nothing. Okay,
you had a for the Knockouts World title match. You
had Kaylanie Jordan who won a Battle Royal along with

(21:39):
ley Ying Lee. These two would then determine who would
be facing off of the Knockouts World title later in
the night, Sosia Lee former NXT star and Kailana Jeordia
a n XD star. Now, so you're absolutely gonna get
somebody else completely outside of TNA. I mean you could say,
sure Tina came in, but you know, zil y here

(22:02):
is not gonna be considered. With Colonie Jordan for the
Knockouts World title. With most of Aliam Moose, it was
a setup for the hardcore war between Ali's Order four
and Moos' is the system for Bound for Glory. That's
all that was set up for. Could have been a
TV match Joe Henry out of the World title picture
altogether taking on Eric Young and Kilinne Jordan becoming the

(22:26):
Knockouts World Champion. Andy Hartwell specially guys referee. Yeah, so,
I mean, just like that, another NXD Star TNA champion
along with Trick williamshes now also set up for that
as well. And Leon Slater is still the TEENA ex
Division champion, beating Meyron Reid in a match there. Meanwhile,

(22:48):
Steve McLain was also a former champion. He's the International title.
Kind of just like to throw away right there with
Frankie Kazarian, but that's in that so that's what they
had set up for. And then of course then we
get to Bown for Glory. But again now we have
at Bound for Glory Colonnie Jordan coming as champion, and

(23:10):
before we get to that, we have to have this
Showdown no longer Invasion Showdown. The setup so against Brand
and Inspiration going up for the TEENA Not Goouts World
Tag Team titles. Leon Slater will take on Javon Evans
to the Exhibsion title. Keep that in mind, and Javon
Evans even running all over the place in matches going

(23:32):
on against Obafemi right for the I don't know it
was Trick Williams. Was it? Yeah, Trick Williams right, NXC title.
I think it was. I forget. I don't watch it
next t I just keep it on the clips. That's
pretty much it. If I go and watch AVA every
week on Tuesday, I don't think I could do it.
I can't Stomacher, I can't. What a horrible character.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Awful.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
The Collier Shot Gauntlet will be also going on at
Bound for Glory, that hardcore war Colonnie Jordan and the
Art Well now for the Knockouts World title. This is
a knock These are the knockouts we have now nothing.
I guess Colonnie Jordan absolutely capable here, but it's the
fact that it's an NXT star now holding this belt
once again. The one match that will still feel like

(24:15):
TNA is the Hardy's in the and the Dudley's Team
three D for the World Tag tem titles on the
tables match that'll feel fine. At Trick Williams over and
Mike Santana Teenay World Heavyweight title. We could definitely go
into Bound for Glory coming up and we could see
three titles become held by NXD stars. I'm gonna go

(24:39):
and give predictions. Right now, Javan Evans is gonna be
Excivision champion. Bank on that right now. I don't care
if we saw Leon Slater and Javon Evans together kind
of like as a tag team. Doesn't matter. Javon Evans
is winning the Excivision title. Inspiration will win the Knockouts
tag team titles. This is because the booking of NXT
will be done. By the booking of NXT, it'll be

(25:00):
under what they want to look at as their own agenda.
They will see that instead System in order for that's
just a full TEENA matches to get all those folks involved.
It doesn't really make a difference. I will say the
system wins. Kaylinne Jordan just won the belt and just
like that, we're gonna get you know, a very short

(25:21):
tinn of ring for Colonel Jordan so far, and she's
not losing that belt. So Colonney Jordan's winning and retaining
the Knockous title, so get her real showcase there at
Bound for Glory, I'll take the heartys of her team
three D. At Trick Williams, I believe I'm pretty positive

(25:42):
that he will retain the TENA Worldway title. They're not
giving Mike's ants end to that belt. They're not. I
don't believe it. I don't believe it at all. So
TNA is now under siege by a n XT under
siege used to be a pay perview name for TNA.
Now it is absolutely what's identifying what NXT has done

(26:05):
to this product completely and the focus of the showdown
because the fact that NXT is a live show versus
TEENA being a tape show. TEENA is going to just
go on with their own thing and the major storylines
are really happening on NXT. That's what it comes down to.

(26:28):
And what you're looking at are the level of things
that they have now with what they're doing with it. Okay,
let's about the fact of what they're doing right now. Overall.
Back to Santina Morello at his point thinking that TINA
will become the number two company in wrestling in North America.
Dave Meltzer had his comments on that.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Is that the possible number two company in the world.
The TV deal needs to be in these several hundreds
of millions too for them to even come close.

Speaker 6 (26:58):
Look, he's representing the company and any maybe brainwash too.
You know. I mean, because you've got to remember that
there's a lot of people out there who, you know,
no matter what you know, in their minds Aw's this
giant failure and they don't know how to run a company,
and you know, their booking is horrible and all that.
I mean, there's people who just they live and die

(27:20):
with that thing. You can't change their minds. And and
and you know, Santino Pride thinks, well, our booking is okay,
and all we need is the exposure, you know, And
it's right.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
It's a lot of things going on here. The other
thing too, that W is instituted, that happened at Victory Road.
They have mobilized the twitch streamers, the live streamers out
there to start covering TNA like they would an NXT
or W show. They're trying to encourage it, and they

(27:56):
did it specifically with Victory Road. And then you look
at how NXT does their things for the pop. Ricky Saints,
He's already been North American Champion in six months being
at this company, coming from AW. The Stroke Daddy thing's
been going on since what twenty eighteen, that was NWA
Power Days, okay, and everybody is now so enamored with

(28:22):
Ricky Saints here. I'm sorry, Ricky Starks. I've seen for
years now. He's been good for a long time. So
now he's getting titles here in NXT, but they won't
give him the main roster. But I guess if he's
getting you know, adulation like this when he wins. Here's

(28:43):
a collaboration that was put online of all the twitch
streamers that got super excited when they saw Ricky Saints
become NX champion.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Wait on two, Oh.

Speaker 7 (28:54):
My god, Oh my god, Ricky right that.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
So these are the things that you know, Shawn Michael's undertaker,
Triple H whoever else is down there in NXT thinking
this is a good idea, taking trying to take some
of the stuff that w does right now with their
fandom to support TNA, and obviously it'll try to do

(29:33):
the same with Triple A. Triple A is a different story.
We'll talk about that with Dominicus Stereo in a moment,
but you know, that's another story altogether. And this is
all meant to go and do things so that they
can attack aw and as we say, TNA and the
old idea, Oh, let's go ahead and talk about him.

(29:53):
No right, everybody wants to go ahead attack a W.
And you know Tony Kahn has talked about it. You
talked about going ringside. Quote when it comes to counting
programming from W against them quote, We've been having a
really great year. We've middle with a stick and move
and make it work really well for us. There's always

(30:15):
gonna be tough competition in this sport. It's very tough competition,
the kind of competition that makes you work really hard
for the two weeks a year, fifty two weeks a year. Yeah,
and there's been more that Tony Kahn has also said
since then. The plan was, as he says that he
can still see where Dynamite is gonna hopefully still be
around ten years from now and still doing great stuff

(30:37):
and hopefully growing and getting bigger and better. There's been
a lot of comments about Ricky Saints him winning the
NXT Heavyweight Championship this week at No Mercy. Let's talk
about that part. By the way. Also for Auto warmor auditorium,
I haven't had a chance to see what the venue
looks like. They don't try to go and see what
there was any tickets going get overall, someone mentions the

(30:58):
fact fact that he starting is thirty five years old,
he's in developmental. Yeah, that's one thing is he brought
up But yeah, they never and I don't see Ricky
Saints ever being a star. They're gonna bring up to
them a roster Oba Femi's been talking about because of
the fact that he dropped the bell, and somebody writes here,
the thought of Oba Fhemi on the main roster sounds
great until you remember who the booker is. Good point.

(31:21):
Another person writing here, how Triple H would book Oba
femiv locked in quote Megan Will commentator with Michael Cole,
Brocklusser attacks Cole, Oba, stands up and gets humbled, which
leads to Pat mcapeverus brock ja Uso taps out Oba,
tag Team Roman with grace from Waller with no payoff,
and El Femi Americano will be his final thing. Funny,
but it just feels like that comments about Jay Cargill.

(31:44):
Somebody put out here saying j Cargill, who was the
longest reigning TBS champion in history, and she has gone
eight hundred and fifty three days without a single sattle
in w and by the way, she signed a multi
year contract to stay. Okay, well, I don't guess she's
happy where she is right now. But yeah, no, championship's

(32:05):
right there. Ex that tag team run and that's pretty
much it. Also some comments out there from a story
from nodq dot com that put up an opt dead
and I'm just gonna read the caption here that Ricky
Saints Zoba Family was NXT's ultimate fu to AW. They
took someone aw, treated it as an enhancement talent, and
made him a champion. The match was excellent, classic David

(32:28):
versus Goliath. And then someone writes, so Ricky Starks got
wins over CM Punk Chris Jericho FTR to win the
tag team titles and that was with what was big Bill? Right? Yeah,
won the Owen Memorial Tournament in twenty twenty three, the
World title Eliminator in twenty twenty two, and the Dynamite
doesn't battle Royal in twenty twenty two. This notion that

(32:51):
he was a jobb or I wasn't given opportunities. It's
such a load of bs. Okay, another person writes, enhancement
talent he works with worthing against CM Punk. Brian dingoson
Sting and MGF and high profile matches. He really lost
a match. If that's enhancedment ton, what in the world
is he winning a developmental title when you're knocking on
the door of thirty six years old. More commentary on

(33:13):
Rickey Saints. Then he won the NXT in North American
title and the span of six months comments from Booker
T about Jake Cargill because of the match she had
with Nia Jackson, Tivity Stratton and that with Booker T
says that she's been pretty much fresh off for AW run.
She probably didn't learn a whole lot because she was
just put on a wing and she never really got

(33:34):
a chance to wrestle, really wrestle anybody. She had sixty
four matches in AW and so far sixty eight in
W So keep that in mind. Just running through by
X feet of all these things that I saw and
I wanted to go and bring up with the program
went in that raw last week, getting its lowest number
in viewership on Netflix ever since the show started over there.

(33:59):
And then there's a thing that happened when it came
to what happened on NXT to lead up to the showdown,
this invasion angle with NXT and TNA, and we should
go ahead and point out some one of the things
they did to set this up, and you answer this
question for me, how does this benefit TNA, because they're

(34:23):
just getting uses upon this whole time. And like I said,
at Bound for Glory, I see TNA talent not holding
the X Division knockouts or world titles. At the end
of Bound for Glory, mark my words, here's Ricky Saints, Jac,
Jane and Ava and the ring together.

Speaker 8 (34:41):
Wow. Jac, for once you actually took.

Speaker 9 (34:47):
The words right out of my mouth. You're right, you
guys do have more important things to worry about, because
I've decided that both of you are the team captains
for NXT.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Wait, this is, by the way, all they're doing with
this whole setup is a dual a couple of Survivor
Series matches pretty much, and this is supposed to go
and benefit TNA. I'm trying to find the logic behind.

Speaker 8 (35:23):
This, which means that you both have the very important
task of deciding who is going to be on your team.
And for this I need you both to put your
pride and your differences aside.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Because anyways, there's more to this. They had to go
in correct the part of calling it an evasion and
calling it a showdown. Here, Santina Morella.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Let me just say this.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
I don't trust Tricky Williams for one second, so he's
not going to be my god. How can you rest
a guy with the name Tricky. So I'd like to
introduce to my captain right now, ladies and gentlemen, Mike
Santanada CNA.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
I mean, it's the NXT crowd. There's much more in
the Mike Santana, so want to just sign him over.

Speaker 10 (36:29):
There is someone from NXT who I do trust to
be a captain of Team t NA. That's right, the
newly crowned the TNA knockoach World Champion lady is a German.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
CALLI makes no sense. Oh, that they can trust an
NXT star who's now there now their their promotions knockouts
champion doesn't make any sense. And by the way, Colonnie Jordan,
I just want to make this point. You get the
show down comming. Let me get this in real quick.

Speaker 10 (37:03):
We're working together wonderfully for months now. This is more
of an NXT and TNA showcase. No no, no, no, no,
a show down, a showdown between NXT and TNA. I'll
see you guys later at the TNA NXT summit.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Hold on, hold on, hold on.

Speaker 11 (37:24):
Let me get this straight. Santino, you have Trick Williams
as your TNA champion, but not as your team captain.
But you have Kolanie Sjordan, who's been in NXT for years,
who only won that TENA knockouts championship I don't know
ten seconds ago, as your other team captain.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Please tell me how that makes any sense.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
This is ridiculous, right well, there's a lot of things
that are just ridiculous across the board with all this
here anyway, So Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Gavon evans Mouth
was born. As to the NXT side or the TNA
side will be Mike Santana moves, Frankie Cazarian, Leon Slater.
On the women's side, NXD will have jc jan Ga,

(38:09):
Parker sol Roo, good little Ice, Colinna Jordan, the inspiration
of Mars Sarda is the women's side. This is what
we're this is supposed to like help out here, and
you're telling me the setups that they have right now
for these matches. You're telling me the nxc's not going
to win both of those matches that showdown. Most likely
they are. I don't know. TNA's just saying, hey, look,

(38:32):
we're just glad. We're just happy that we get to
have our logo out there. We get to here cross
the line, we get to have our stars in there,
get beaten by your stars. I guess just thanks for
letting us be involved, guys, I can hear call Carlos Silva.
That's what I feel like. This is going on right here.
It's ridiculous. But they're in this bed, they're lying in it.

(38:57):
They have no choice. Now, this is over shouting, overshadowing
everything that's going on right now. When it comes to
TNA BOLP for Glory, no one's talking about it. By
the way, JC Gene can't even mention Victory Road on
the broadcast. We can't do that either. What kind of

(39:18):
partnership is this? Now Here's Ricky, send your NXC champion.
Got you a decent problem. Like I said, look at
the material has to work with.

Speaker 10 (39:27):
And I'm about the set our team site.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
It's gonna be the new NXT champion, Ricky Sts, It's
gonna be you, chick. Wis the TNA World have me
like champion, let's talk about it. It's gonna be yo,
go Tea, JAVONN Evans and my man coming off a
big win tonight. It's gonna be you mouth board set

(39:50):
it here.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
They got all these stars in here that they have been
around for a long time, Trick Williams, Javon Evans, and
you know what, I don't know if they're ever going
to get that main roster. They are in a ceiling.
By the way. One thing that somebody pointed out, somebody
actually tried to say about, well, there's something about the
n and TNA because all the stars they have down

(40:14):
in TNA right now as champions are all people of color.
I don't have any dismissal about that at all. I
could care less. They're all credible champions. I don't have
any issue about it. My issue is the fact they're
all except for Leonslator, all NFT stars and in the
Oscilator it was from that devillmental system before end anyway, right.

(40:35):
But the thing is is that those are all stars
that w is never going to promote to the main roster.
I don't see it. If it does, it's going to
be a long time for now, But it's obvious that
even if they're just gonna do something right now with
no storylines as they've been doing right they want to

(40:57):
go Who's line it as anyway? Let me put it
to you like this, You're gonna see a lot of
these NXT stars stay in NXT, or stay in TNA,
or stay in Triple A because the way that w

(41:19):
is now operating in there, whose line is it? Any way?
Improvisational promos they have to go and do out there,
which some are only up there because of nepotism or friendship.
Chaya McDonough lerver carry out. Those are examples and matchmatch

(41:42):
match of stars you know that can actually be in
the ring. Okay, that's what they're gonna deal with, and
in that without any characters or any kind of notoriety
that's coming to these stars here. As long as they're
in the ceiling underneath the main roster in NXT, TNA

(42:06):
or Triple A, they're never going to get noticed. This
is Grayson Waller came back down to NXT to go
work on the show of Full Sale. He's been doing
nothing pretty up with what New Day, He's been doing
nothing right now. Also there, He's not even a blip
on the radar. Carmelo Hayes has been non existent as well,

(42:32):
non factor. I mean Tivioty Stratton is one example of
somebody that's actually made it to the mold. Bron Breaker
also broke to the mold. But there's not much more
than that. And because the way that w is set
up right now, none of these stars here in this

(42:59):
conglomration of XTNA will ever be able to successfully elevate
that main roster. And I don't think that the company
wants to elevate them. I truly believe that, and I
hate it for them because right now the company sorely

(43:19):
needs some new faces up there. They have no one
for Cody. There's no difference with Cody Rose or Seth
Brawns as champions. Right now, they're without anything to do.
Roman Rings comes out here as an afterthought, and now
he's going to get brought up in a storyline with
the you soos going up against the Vision. This is

(43:41):
what we're doing with Roman Reigns. Of course, he's working
on a movie, so I understand that. And John Cena, you know,
is the last match, by the way, on the Saturday
expin events graphic. He's wearing a belt why and it
says the last real champion one last time? So is

(44:01):
he getting the belt back before then? I want to
make that make sense. Let me take a little bit
of time to let Brian Alvarez channel what is my
frustration with this NXT invasion?

Speaker 2 (44:17):
Ankle Brother, This NXT show is off the rails. This
show was so stupid last night, I thought that the invasion,
like the famous wcw WWF invasion, was just about the
stupidest invasion I've ever seen. Ava said, I met with
Santino Morella and we spoke for hours, she said, hours,

(44:42):
hours hours. They spoke for hours to figure out what
to do about this, hours and they came up with
the idea of this what was it then called the
Invasion pay per view? Would anybody like to guess who
Santino chose as the captain of his women's tea team.
He chose an NXT woman holding a TNA title. It's

(45:11):
dumb enough, like they did this during the original invasion,
the WWFWCW invasion. It's dumb enough that someone from the
other side is on the other team. That's stupid enough.
But literally they chose someone from the other side with
one of the belts, which is why the other side

(45:35):
was angry in the first place. Klannie Jordan, NXT wrestler
Kolannie Jordan, who is the TNA Knockouts Champion, is the
captain of Team TNA. Now, if that isn't dumb enough,
the Knockouts champion, who is actually an NXT wrestler, is

(45:57):
a captain of the TNA. But the NXT wrestler who
is the TNA Men's Champion is actually on the NXT
team as the TNA champion. I'm done.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
Yeah, there's a lot to unpack on that because of
the fact that for Trick Williams, for Colownie Jordan, it
doesn't make a difference. You're not gaining anything by having
those TNA titles, and it's not because of your skill

(46:37):
or ability. I'll just say like this, if Colonne Jordan
took Gradion's worked with any other promotion, if you could
put them in MLW or NWA or AW, I know
that I would probably get something better out of them
if they were out of this mold, if they were
not in W and they were just stars in TNA

(46:59):
before where all this partnership came in and took over
this company TNA. There's no doubt that they both are
absolutely at or near a main event level on any
of the promotion right now. The fact that Trick Williams
is still in TNA now or NXT and he has

(47:23):
not moved up to the main roster isn't abolination. And honestly,
Colonie Jordan, she could have also moved up by now
as well. I haven't even talked about Triple A and
the now they have what three Americanos, Bravo, Ryo and
Oh Grande Americano right doing that with Dominant Asterials, do
you make a champion? But the thing is Dominimunsteria is

(47:45):
a different story because we know that no matter what
goes on in Triple A, it's fine because he is
second generation star, third generation excuse me, and he will
also always be taken care of and W I really

(48:05):
believe that Domino Masterio will be one of those people
that will stay up in that main roster. Whatever he
does with that make a championship, which I guess he's
gonna hold on for a long time, especially with the
W holding on to that company. Dominant Masteria is gonna
be destined to be holding on that belt for a
long time. I could see him multi year championship. He
could be their Dan Bruno San Martino for all I know,

(48:28):
and I wouldn't be surprised. But Dominic has a bright
future head and w and he does he should. He's
one of those pillars that they absolutely have right now,
because the w W does have pillars, Brown Breaker is
one of them. I don't know if Disney Treton's there,
but I think Dominican Masteria is definitely there, and there's

(48:51):
just not Michelle's. Let me give you another rant that
came from Brian Alvarez to talk about what's going on
right now with wrestling, and I thought he also just
channeled a lot of things that are on my mind
as well.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
Let me tell you something. What year is it?

Speaker 4 (49:10):
Twenty twenty five?

Speaker 6 (49:11):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Is other quiz was one of them? What year did
Luths win his first world title? Not twenty twenty five,
nineteen thirty seven. Luths won his first world title at
twenty one. You watch college football, Vinie sometimes, Okay, how

(49:31):
many forty year olds are like stars in college football? Okay?
They're all what twenty one, they're all in college. Yeah,
and last time I checked, like college football does great numbers,
better than ever effect. I don't see the problem with
young people playing college football. The only place where you're

(49:51):
too young to get pushed at twenty one is professional
wrestling in twenty twenty five, in like WWE.

Speaker 4 (49:59):
You imagine if actually cared.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
I didn't care until I saw that match, and then
I started caring again. But you just, guys, I'm fifty.
You guys understand, I'm fifty years old. I can't tolerate
watching another promotion filled with people that can't see talent.

Speaker 4 (50:18):
And he was talking about the fact that Javon Evans
and taking the open challenge on his back down against Sammy'sane.
I mean, we already know that Javon Evans is not
going to win on the main roster, but that little
blip on the main roster, they're supposed to be like
a little gift for Jovon Evans and they go and
work at you know, TNA is also another gift. But yeah,

(50:41):
they're gonna probably reward him with that ex division title
at the Bound for Glory next week. Most likely. Well,
like I said, the things that are being done in
this NXTT and A conglomeration confounding because you're sustings here.
It doesn't make any sense. But at the end of
the day, NXCT and A can do whatever they want,

(51:04):
and W continued, can it can it can continue to
do these things that they're doing right now with their product,
misaligning and misusing talent, butchering partnerships or promotions they have it.
They have bought out outright overcharging their fans and trying

(51:26):
to do things to thwart the growth or stunt the
growth or pull back the growth of AW. Doesn't have
to worry about that. Okay, it is enough for the
fact that AW struggles on its own, but that W

(51:48):
has nothing to do with it. W has been a
non factor. And all they've been trying to do to
go ahead and thwart AW to take it off the map,
it's just not happening. At least there is wrestling out
there that I can enjoy that I don't have to
really care too much about all this kind of crap
going on, Like I got Slaughterhouse this weekend with Donovan
Daijack in action. They'll be good. I'll enjoy that. Some

(52:11):
of the good matches going on Mad's Cruel Krueger mw
wora weweight Championship and a Chamber of horrse match. That's
how I'll be conducted. Three title matches on the line
show Goa Nakajima divining the MLW Women's World Featherweight Title
at three way match set for the MLW National Openweight
Championship at a lot more and also three quarterfinal matches

(52:33):
for the Opera Cup Matt ridovers Alexander Hemmerstone and Donovan
Dijack being an action as so much more so that
is Slaughterhouse coming up. Mister Thomas C w Anderson, Maths
Justice and two of the names are gonna be the
Chamber of Horse match Ruggito Blue Panther Atlantis for the

(52:55):
three way match for the nationalpweight title. Opera Cup has
missed to go over Sulton Guerrero, so Tosha Kagema, Ver Suspicion,
Dire Paul Lennan and Austin Aries and a five way
match with Diego Hill, Magnus, Okamura, Ko kwand Stigma and
also a segment for Shazi Blackheart who's been now with
the company the Graveyard Shift. So that's all good stuff.

(53:17):
So we'll keep an eye on all this going on
here leading up until Bound for Glory next week, which
you know. I'm wondering how this is all gonna turn out,
and I feel bad for TNA. It's just going in
a different direction. And like I said, that TV deal
hasn't come yet, So to take all this here and

(53:40):
hope that something will come of it. After all the
things that w has been able to do with TNA's playground,
how's that playground gonna look? Want to get a TV deal?
I'm just wondering. Anyway, come back next week when the
Wrestlers were a podcast, because wrestling needs us a
