Speaker 1 (00:25):
It's funny.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
He has to namo when I see my locomos amen,
I say the saloon de la fama three player me
and grown up the saloon bla fama, dobo dobi legend
imbay study, bien Venuto's, bien Venuto's, bien venutas Papa Noel,

(01:14):
Welcome to.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Wrestling Sopa lut libbe de sopa de tortilla, trying to
say wrestling soup, tortilla soup or lit libri. Anyway, this
is your co host, Jeff with the co hostess with

(01:36):
the mostest, the legend herself, the fisto, and we're gonna
be talking about triple n wwess.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
That happened on December twentieth at the new Guadaljana Arena
that has more than thirteen thousand people apparently, which well
I'm not apparent. That's what they say, and they started showing.
They say, this is the last breath before everything changes.
Thirty three years ago, a man and his family had

(02:10):
a vision. Luca Libri is now a main event. It
is not a side show anymore, and ahora para siempre
then now forever. They're actually using the freaking quote again.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
I actually that was really well done, and there was
a Mucco Hemp much the place looked great. Now, oh yeah,
I am told that someplace that there was English commentary.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I actually yeah, I listened because I watched the show
the next day and it was in English. So I
had JBL, Corey Graves and Conan.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Well, that's wild. I don't know if I was on
the wrong YouTube channel or if it was just as
I was watching him more or less live that I
just got the Spanish commentary, But I don't care. I'm
perfectly content with it. But that's great. My my overall
thoughts on this show is out of great is that

(03:14):
this was sort of Triple A's Christmas present to the
Triple A fans.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
It was.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
It was very much a face over heel kind of thing,
with a couple of exceptions, but even then not so much.
There was nice, little, nice little surprises. Unfortunately, probably what
was supposed to be the There was something that was
a literal big thing, but there was also a figure
to a big thing, which was going to be the
schism between Grande Americano and Dominic Mysteria. But themes of

(03:44):
Dominic Mysterio actually got injured and he might be out
for a while. I mean reports are early and they're
not to be trusted yet not, but it could be
enough that he might be missing, not just the Rumbled,
but maybe even Wrestlemanian. So so the turn the skis
in between Grande Medica and Donald Stereo maybe rendered moot

(04:08):
or at least put on hold. So even so the
big event was sort of muted. But still there were
other things to talk about. And I know that you
did a novella, so I did.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Oh my god, I took so I took so many
notes on this show, and which is crazy because I've
always loved Luca because the culture itself, it's so great.
The fans and you can see it just by watching
the show. They're so into it and they respect Luca
Libra and there is a love for Luca there. It's

(04:45):
it's like a religion when you go to Mexico, so
it kind of you kind of feel it through like
the TV screen, which is great. And I just love
these shows. They just flow more than ever. And we
mentioned it before that, you know, Conan had told me like, hey,
it's lucha, it's Lucia, it doesn't matter psychology or whatever.

(05:07):
But right now I see the best psychologies like I
have ever seen when it comes to Lucia Lebroy and
we're gonna see it again in this this show, and
it's it's just great. I mean, I it's I wouldn't
say it's night and day because they've tripled. Has always
been professional, but it's just it's one step like it's

(05:32):
it's I don't Oh my god, it's so much better.
Speaking of injury, yeah, you the show starts actually with Penta,
which is which is crazy because he has a shoulder injury.
We're going to talk about dominic eventually, but he still
can't wrestle, like shoulders are shoulders are the ships I'm doing.

(05:56):
I'm dealing with that. I'm waiting for surgery myself, and
it's just a think. Is you never know what's really damaged?
Is it like do you have arthrosis? And then the
the ligaments and the it's like everything else around it,
whatever the injury is, gets messed up as well. So
here we are with Raymystereo of all people, you know,

(06:20):
replacing Penta. So we'll we'll have to wait for the
Luca Brothers to rear Night again. But I mean raymys
Stereo it's it's not a bad replacement.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Is it an.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Upgrade even because he's such a legend when it comes
to triple Ah, we'll see later. And I mean, just
before we get into the shows. You you mentioned that
you watched it in Spanish, but I did have JBL
Corey Grave Graves. Sorry, there's a s there and Conen

(06:50):
and Corey Grave just said, like finally, Lucha libre is
a worldwide phenomenon. And when he says it, I believe it.
I really feel Corey Graves spound his niche when it
comes to commentate it, like he's so good and he
you feel that he enjoys it. So is JBL. He's
so into it. It's like crazy. And I don't know

(07:12):
if you notice again before we meet missus Marisella Penna,
which she's the wife of the late owner, mister Pinya,
and there's the flags representing the family because it's really
you know, family oriented culture and I'm still wondering if

(07:35):
she's holding an urn.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I was wondering the same thing. Now I now it
looks like I hate to come this way, but every
other show I've mentioned something about this, I'm gonna I
think that some of the cash infusion that she's been
she's been using to sort of correct some of the
plastic surgeries of the past. She's looking more when she

(08:00):
looked better, so you know, maybe it was healing. Maybe
it's my imagination, maybe something's been done. But hey, good,
she looked happier, she looked better. Maybe it's just a
Christmas miracle. I know, sw shoes flanked on one side
by Arrowstar. I did not recognize who the other wrestler was.

(08:20):
I honestly thought it was Hologram, but obviously that's not possible.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
I didn't even like looked at what was around since
I mean, like I said, I'm still wondering if that's
the urn of mister Penya or I don't know exactly.
Maybe someone in the Mexican culture can tell me if
it's something else, But I mean, like, is it the urn?

Speaker 3 (08:43):
I don't know anyways, maybe it's the undertakers are and
he's doing the baby so maybe if he just if
he disappoints her, you know, then then.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Maybe it's the power of the Undertaker that makes the show.
And the psychology is so good right now, who knows?
As Oh yeah, let's go to March more a four
way tag match between Rego and Bravo Los Americanos versus

(09:14):
l W O of Cruz del Toro and Joaquim Wild
and versus Octagon Junior and La Parca and I'm Bergeza
JBL's favorite. Oh he goes crazy when he comes out,
and of course mister Iguana and like Yesca, which one

(09:35):
thing you didn't hear in English, but uh JBL mentions
that Los Americanos are the last students of Carl Gotch,
which I really thought was fucking great.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
And also that bad Buddy is a big fan of
the Yes Cup, so of course, yes it's over. Yes,
Gay's over with everybody. Maybe maybe she'll attend the.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Super This is great.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
So we start with Laparca and uh Reo Americano doing
the dancing, deposing the strutting, and they say how much
of Reo and Bravo legends in the UK in some
sort of uh, I don't know, parallel galaxy or whatever.
And it's a match that you can tag anybody. So

(10:27):
LW works on Bravo in the corner, they isolate the opponent.
You can see that they are actually used to work
as a team as they isolate people, Nino uh and Iguana.
They do the kind of helicopter at scissor on Laparca
and there's like crazy running like it's there's a four

(10:50):
way tope see with Sita like you can barely. I
don't know if you were able to follow everything.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
That wasn't different directions. Actually that was that was really good.
That was really well sequenced.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
And Americanos well, they just grabbed a Parker by both
legs and his balls were dead against the post, and
even Corey Grays guys like, who's legal? And JBL goes,
your guess is as good as mine because at this
point I had no clue, but it's Luca. It doesn't matter.
There was a double drop kick from l Wo and

(11:26):
they there was like a topay. The Americanos went out
and the tope was actually stopped from le Yesca, JBL
mentioning that she's the salmonella filled lizard. Yeah, wonderful, right,
And from that one's it was like pretty much flying flying,

(11:47):
which ended with the super I call it the super
Slink shock from hawaikim Wild because I like he went
higher than ever. I feel one day somebody's gonna go
over everybody, nobody's going to catch him. And there was
like a top rope moon Salt from Parker to the outside.
He kind of walked the top rope to I don't

(12:08):
know how old is Laparco, but it's pretty he's pretty impressive.
I'm always wondering if it's like a new guy that's
in Laparka.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
But I think it's one of his kids. I think
it's maybe so. I think for a while they were
loc Hostel Laparca, and then there was there was Laparca
Junior and Lheo del Laparca. They were they were doing
like taker review shows with Laparca on MLW, and one
of them was def one of them was built like
Laparka and the other one was built like this. So
I think it's just a son who who just has

(12:39):
taken over the mantle.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, that's that's what I thought too. I was like this,
I don't feel it's the same Laparca because.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
It's definitely not. No, it's whether it's his real son
or not. I don't know, because I know the person
your train is your is considered your son or whatever.
But but but it's like.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Tiger Mask in Japan. It just keeps going and the
character never dies like the pope.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
It's like the Dalai Lama. It's something sacred, and then
it's like a black panther, you know.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
And I mean at this point, like Wild had a
free gift when Emburger, well he has he had an
emburger in his mouth and there was an iguanorana.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
From the hamburger. This is the thing about the hamburger.
And I think that everyone got it wrong. What what
they didn't see is that that no good heal walking
Wild held concession. Concession came over. He bought a hamburger.
He stiffed the guy in a tip. He started eating
the hamburger, and and and Ali ego di hamburger. Risa

(13:42):
tried to take it out of his mouth and say,
this is no time to eat. It's a choking hazard.
I ever your safety. And everyone thought that the hamburger
Lisa put it in his mouth, But no, I saw
the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Everyone was watching the action. But you know, to me,
the action is the concession. So uh, that's that's what
really happened. I took this partnership. Is the best thing
that happened for the LWL. Those those two guys, because
I mean, as good a team as they are, I
don't know, you know what they would have been doing
in WW if they'd still be and while I well,

(14:13):
I think they would have made something always for Tyler,
Bade and Pete done if they could.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
I don't know what the TKO thing, and this is
working so well. I think they could have worked as
cronies for real Grande Americano as well. But I don't
need to even like think in this alternate universe then,
because this works so well down there, and I think
that they can be independent of him now, like he
can be a good guy and they don't need to be.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yeah, I completely agree. I mean just there was like
there was a big cannonball from Burger in a corner.
And what was great is that he moves. He moves
pretty quick for a size, so's jbl like he's like
a bam bam Bigelovader, which to me is like a
great It's a great compliment. And what really impressed me

(15:01):
when you say that LUs Americanos can do their own
thing is when Bravo picked up Hamberger Rosa for Airplane Spin.
I was like, what the fun? Wow?

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, this this this was a little yeah,
it was. It was a little bit of a showing
of strength there on that one. I was I was
a little bit surprised at that what happened.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yeah, I would not expect that from At this point,
I don't even know if it's Pete Dunne or the Baits.
I'm like, who's who. I don't even know anymore.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
I just it just like, I just think it's Tyler
Bait because because I think the powerlift one, he's the one,
like heaven Sullivan body, so I'm assuming he's the one
who could who could powerlift together. But yeah, that was
a lot of that's a lot of ground beef, so yeah,
power free ground beef to be.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
So there was a stereo top Spanish fly, Yeah, plaint
without Lean.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
I'm not sure if I'm not sure if he's even
free range or organic.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I don't know. Parker went to for like a spinning
power slam. I didn't catch the name of his move,
but one, two, three, and that was it. There was
a kid dancing with Laparka over a new version of
Triller and the crowd went crazy. Great, great way to
start the show with the baby face, Like you said,

(16:27):
very baby face oriented show. But yeah, that was a
great match. That was quick. There was nothing that was
like long in exhaust thing and it went by fast.
And no, that was a great way to start the show.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Yeah. And I don't know if my Primory Shadows was
listening to show, but she would agree. And I don't
know that anybody who listened to Marie and I's review
of the last MLW show in uh South Carolina or
fanning for MEMLW is listening. But there was a four
team like tornado tag team match in the middle of

(17:03):
the South Carolina show and it did nothing for the show.
It it was empty calories and it was in the middle. Yeah,
take note. This is how you use the four team
uh you know tag team. You do it in the
beginning to make the crowd happy, you know, get a
lot of motion out. They give something for the kids

(17:25):
to watch. But if somebody comes late, they don't necessarily
feel like they missed anything important. If the kids need
forgot to go to the bathroom before they left the house,
mom and Dad can take them and they don't feel
so bad. You can get the snacks. This is this
is the exhibition. You could see it. It's fun. The
faces when at the end there's a little dancing thing.
They picked a kid out of the crowd to you know,

(17:47):
you know, do the La Parka dance, which was sort
of cute because it's it's you know, kids are sort
of you know, klutzy and clumsy and not exactly coordinated
and someone they try, and there was there was a
second scene with with kids dancing later on in the night,
which was you know what, you know, it just felt
like it was Papa Noel Christmas.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
In really like a family thing. So yeah, like you said,
great match to start the show, exciting, not too long,
a lot of action, and we move on to an
actual title defense, this time for the Triple A Latin
American Championship, where Eo de Duck Eo the Ductner Junior

(18:31):
versus her Canadian hero Etan Page that they have been
fighting all over like across promotions from NXD Triple A
I think somewhere else to Page has like yeah, already
has two championships, is going for three. And Wagner is
a beloved third generation wrestler. The grandpa was a wrestler,

(18:54):
the dad was a wrestler, the mom was a wrestler,
and so like he's he's like really really popular.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Is it true that his parents are lost? Toxicus uh
I is a lady mentioned.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
The name of the mom was Rossi Moreno. I actually
wrestle Cynthia Moreno. I don't know if it's any like related,
but this one had a big fight feel with a
big presentation in the beginning. I really love that Ego
was sending kisses to the ground and they actually announced
Wagner's being the Mexican Warrior. H hot start from this match,

(19:34):
which makes sense because they've been at each other's throats
for weeks and weeks and weeks. Good shots from both,
with Wagner gaining control real quick with a drop kick
behind the head. There was like a bunch of like
he did a thing where he jump on the rope
to go for like a springboard, I would say on drag,

(19:59):
but Page caught in mid air into a power slam,
so that was pretty impressive. And that's how Page got
like control of the match and once again try to
remove the mask and it didn't work. Referee was on it.
They went into a one two with really loud booze

(20:19):
and yeazz that like that was like super loud and
I don't know if you feel the same way, but
I felt like this match was really good in a
way that it was a good back and forth. I
felt that they were like both equals really going back
and forth, and one would have a part and then
the other one would take over. Wagner has a great, great,

(20:42):
great fire. There was a big boot from Page and
then a discus lariers from Junior, and then a sitout
power bomb two count and the springboard move sold two count,
So you know, lots of fallses Page, he's he always

(21:03):
finds something great. Instead of removing the mask, he kind
of turned backwards. Wagner could not see anything, and I
was like, this is so smart, Like it's just a
little thing. It's little detail. But instead of going for
the same thing over heard over again, I thought it
was cool, Page went for a power bomb, but Wagner

(21:26):
kicked out. He went out to get a wrench to
actually put in his tight and while the referee was
getting rid of his the championship because he went in
smart heel here goes in with two weapons, referees catches,
one goes booth, big wrench and you know one two three,

(21:51):
So eaton Page was the new champion until.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
The greatest North American ever with with with ever, with
three titles exactly. They're right, yeah, until mister Iguana comes
out and and and distracts and starts pointing, pointing, pointing,
And I didn't know this was things. So, folks, I
know that it's common to say that whenever there's a
finish that's elaborate or there's outside interference, whether this is
a that's a dusty finish, no it's not. This was

(22:17):
a dusty finish. But since we're south of the border,
I'm gonna call him Manny Fernandez finish the bull. So
the ref actually listens to mister Iguana and demands to
inspect you think paige trunks, and he's he's down there
a while before he pulls out the wrench. I guess
it was stuck in there.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
What was he looking at?

Speaker 3 (22:39):
I don't know. I don't know. I'm not sure, but
that ref was an old timer with suspender, so whatever
it was, he he knows all the tricks, so I'm
sure he was trained by T. S. A and Tom Homan.
So anyway, so he pulls up the wrench and he's like,
oh no, no, and he reverses the decision or and

(22:59):
but the match goes on.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
He called, yeah, he really He restarts the match, which
at first I was confused to because I thought, like,
it's like I thought they just reversed the decision. But no,
restarts the match and right away Wagner driver one two three,
and Wagner keeps the Latin American Championship, which JBL says, like, oh,
what a stooge. This is an injustice of this. Of

(23:24):
course it wasn't. In just this referee is supposed to
have the last say, but no, apparently in Triple all
mister Iguana does he's making too much money to triple A.
We listened to him, which is mard.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
That's right. He's he's printing. He's not just painted green,
he's printing green.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Oh yeah, money money, What was the what was the
song of a money money money, money.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Money, Yeah, there's that one. There's the shame McMahon money.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Shane McMahon.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Yeah, the other one man money.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Money man.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Speaking of money match three. Oh my god, to me,
that wasn't money.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
That was like what the fam I watching.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
First of all, there was no Nikki Cross. She was
nowhere to be found in this match, and it was
the famous Carnival of Carnage match. I was expecting like
some sort of no holds bar fight with clown weapons
or you know, anything that has to do with circus really,

(24:39):
and what I got was a fight in a pit
of balls and that was not even in the ring.
Balloons popping balloons and circus people and.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Some people pretending to stick around as a employees, and
some people pretending to be employees that were actually like
Mascarata do Rita with a kendo stick. Yeah, it was
weird that there was no Nikki Cross at all. And
I was thinking about that, and yeah, it was weird.

(25:18):
Like the Wyatts came to they got their intro, they
came into the the into the ring. The crowd was
into it. I guess they had it, got their intro.
I mean, the crowd likes that, and I like it too.
Everyone likes it. It's it's even though it's slow, it's
that still sends chills up by you know, my arms
and whatever. You know, it still works. I don't know.
And then they see on the screen though, you know,

(25:39):
so the the I think it's psycho clown.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah we should we should actually mention the other team
was Psycho Clown with Pagano, Dave the Clown, and Murder Clown.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Yes, murder Clon. They were also down a psycho clown.
I don't know. I don't know the name of the
other one, but there there are five of them and
the and the fifth wasn't I assume that we Murder
Clown that wasn't there, but no, Murder Clown was in fed.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yeah, Murder Cloud is the biggest one, and he was there.
I can't remember when.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
The Wyatts just realize that they have to go chase
after this is basically a no dqan's gonna be a
street fight. They they walk up the ramp and they
go out and you see like the regular concessionary in
the halls or the backstage area whatever, typical stuff, and
they sit around the corner and it's sort of like
a carnival alley. But I mean, I've been to kid's

(26:30):
birthday parties with more elaborate carnival and circus setups. Then
this was so if this was like in like a
whole funhouse carnival, like an old timey fun house like
that would have been that could have been a lot
of fun. If there were like you said more, you know,
flowers that squirted water, air horns, more like the Sammy's

(26:50):
and Jackass match where you've got the exploding things, giant
hands coming out hitting you, springboards, you know things where
a hall of mirrors where Eric hits the thing and
it goes wop and then it goes bling, or you know,
there's a giant.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Great ideas that would have been so much better.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
But it was then there was none of that. It
was just it was just sort of a clumsy and listen,
it was still fun, but it was like the cheapest
possible version of a of a circus carnage or a
clown carnage, cycle carnage.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
It wasn't really a carnage because it started let's let's
say like it's it started with cycle clown and Joe
Gacy fighting in an inflated fun house, but then there
was like attacks with chares and their confetti's coming. I
don't know what Ben do, you said, muscarred the rita
was there with Kendos to go into town on Gaycy

(27:47):
like crazy.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
And it's got a whole point of you being lord
into a ball pit is that when you get in there,
you're not just facing one guy, all of a sudden
you're found by three guys who pop out out of
the ball pit and you're now surrounded. I mean, it's
just like all of these like not used opportunities with
the limited set and theme that they gave us. It
was like the least thinking possible, which I don't know.

(28:11):
I mean, you know, I expect more from the Undertaker,
you know, for the boneyard match. He's seen the hardy matches,
he saw the bray Wyatt cinematic matches. I mean, I don't,
you know, I don't know if they're working the Triple
A thing on a on a tight budget and they
didn't they don't want to loan money to it or whatever.
You know. I'm sure there's some I'm sure they knew

(28:32):
that this was a cheap o version of it. But
and listen, I know sounds like Clay. I still enjoyed
the match. I just was I was just hoping for,
like you said, more sound effects, more circus stuff, more
giant hammers that you hit someone over the head, and
not only do they get clobber, but the thing makes.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Sense they're born more like circus stuff in the ring,
because it was like in that dark, darker alley and
we can see much like of course when when Moscarita
went out, like we could see the candles or whatever.
And there was a part where Audi and Eric rowan

(29:08):
power bomb Pegano through like what what would you call that?
Like through the the roof of a circus tent or anyway,
they go on commentary, They're like, oh, that was a
twelve feet fall.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I'm like, really, but it didn't look like a circus tent.
It looked like I sort of like when you go
to a conference and you need to check in. It
looked like sort of like the awning over that like
in the information booth thing. I mean it was, and
that's what it looked like. Uh.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
The thing I really popped though, is when Pimpanella was
there and she kissed Gacy, but then they just Loomis
state there and there was like I'm like, they could
have sold this so much better, Like it would have
been so great that she she comes out and they
see her and they that's when they run to the
fucking ring and she runs to kiss him. That would

(30:04):
have been so much better. So there was the kiss
and then nothing, and it.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Wasn't like a big lipstick smooth.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Oh yeah, that would have been nice if he had
like lipstick everywhere.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Like I was like, oh, like the noise, like a
big big bunny smack of shipping. Where was that? I know?
But it's good to see pimpelicans. I don't know that
I've seen Pimpanella since since, Like I rewatched the first
two seasons of Looch on the Ground. That's the last
one thing said, which is probably like four years ago

(30:35):
when I first when it was on t BE for
like a brief shining moment and I and I watched it,
So I didn't even know Pimpanella was still around, to
be honest.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Oh no she is. She did some shows with GCW. Actually, anyway,
after all this stuff, they finally.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Go to the time to plug your gc W show.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Hey, I do have a g c W show that's
online right now. It's Resting, Soup and lun check it out.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
We covered the indies on the Wrestling super and Friendos,
Feed Wrestling, Soup Second Chow now on Apple and Spreaking
probably everyplace else. But no more excuses. People go subscribe,
you're going to get a whole bunch of actually we'll
do it was at the end. But but LuFisto and
rams Banda are they during gc W show talking about
death batches. It was a fun show.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Yeah, we had fun, so check it out. And speaking
of fun, we uh there was a face to face
with Murder Clown and Eric Rohan, which which got a
big pop from the crowd, like they they were into that.
So then Gaysey and Loomis hit their like soup licks
into a power bomb kind of finish they use Uncle

(31:45):
Aldy went for a sister Abigail Pegano that was dead
from that you remember that twelve feet fall. He was back.
He's alive? How can he be alive? How can he be?
Jbl going crazy and then you know out he's in
the ring and then the gay Sy like there's a
big body drop on the ramp. It's like a mess

(32:07):
rolling his clothesling outside. Everybody's going like ste Luca. I'm
like whoop no, I went over like a match. There's
a sheet missing and all everything. Anyway, so they finally
like this match ended with who I can't even remember

(32:28):
who won this match.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
I know who lost. Loomis took the pin just like
oh yeah, Louis, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
There was a bunch like there was like a tope
and even a dive from murder clown and yeah, Audi
on the apron Psycho goes nuts with his belt. He
ripped up his face again that that's kind of cool.
And then yet loomi uh Louis was there and table
there was like that table in the corner that they

(32:56):
had set up, and then cycle driver and the table
once you three and that's it.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Yeah. The only was when when they walked when they
were walking back, and I don't know if the the
English commentary said anything about this or I don't know
if it was my imagination, but because Pegana was hurt
him because he used to do like this Willis Reid
thing where he came back after being injured, like he
was left for dead and came back and he turned
the table. It sort of seemed like he wasn't on
the same page with the other clowns, and his body

(33:23):
language was almost like he was mad at them or something.
So I don't know if English commentary said about that,
or if I was just because I didn't understand the
Spanish commentary and maybe I was misreading his body language,
like maybe it was just like wow, I'm still really hurt.
But I don't know. It seemed like he was like
like he might be thinking of, you know, separating stuff
from the.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Usually when we see something like that, it's because somebody
fuck up a spot in the wrestlers. But in English
commentary they were just selling the fact that he took
that big power bomb and he was like really heard
being no came back to help his friends. That's how
they sold it. But yeah, maybe he was I don't know.

(34:04):
Maybe he wasn't too impressed with the balloons and everything
else like we were. Who knows.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
He did not look happy, which which is fine listening
he just got beat up on the rest so much.
But I don't know. It seemed like he was a
little stand office and looked like when they were putting
their arms up together, he was a step behind. He
took his arms down first. Maybe he was hurt. Maybe
he actually was hurt. Instead, come on, guys, let's go back.
I need some ice. I don't who knows, we watch,
We'll keep watching one to want to take a note

(34:32):
on all right.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Match four was for the World Cruiserweight Championship, the Triple one,
of course, with Laredo Kid defending against Javon Evans Bouncy
and jack Cartwheel from Evolve, which was pretty impressive to
see him there. He's also very like busy on the indies.

(34:56):
They said that Laredo kid has been champion h it
was fifteen hundred days. I'm like, wow, that's a lot.
And we saw some clips of both Evans and Cartwell
winning like their respective matches to get this title shot.
That's happening right there. And I really like when Javon

(35:20):
was the first to come out and Corey Grays goes,
keep your eyes on the sky. I was like, this
is a great quote for Devon and they they actually
said for Cartwheel that he was one of the best
kept secret to watch him and being impressive. And again

(35:40):
there was a big introduction with the NXD referee Darryl
Sharma for this match. This one like against Yeah, I
had referee and this one again fast beginning with a
lot of double pins that were like really you know, innovative.
There was a lot like a double jackknife from Cartwheel

(36:02):
and a double crucifix from Evans and Laredo went for
a double pin two and they all like kip up
at the same time twice for a standoff, like so
we would see like right away that all the three
competitors like are kind of equal to and so I

(36:22):
don't know if you want to take over on this one.
But pretty quick, like the fans were like, este lucha,
st lucha, this is wrestling, and my god, there there's
so much stuff in this match. I don't know if
you want to take over if you want me to
go over it because like there was apron stuff and
we could they really put forward and even on commentary,

(36:45):
the gymnasts background of Cartwheel, the way he uses his
chest to bounce on the ropes to do those flashes
like really something you don't see from anyone else. Event
of course went like for a bouncey rana, the drop kick,

(37:05):
flies into cart Wheel, flips to the outside and again
like as I was explaining, that's stomach on the rope,
bounce splash into the middle of the ring and we
have our first funny Canadian destroyer from the kid. But
that's the pin is broke broken by Javan Events. They

(37:27):
fight into the apron, there is a cutter on the apron,
and then Events goes for a big splash over the
top rope, like I don't know how he does that,
like he just flies over and it's like.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
He really does it. It's crazy when he moves. Everyone knows,
you know. I think he's too skinny and whatever, and
I don't generally it's like I don't love this style
of wrestling, but on him, it works because when I
watch him move, I feel like I'm watching Spider Man,
Like it's he doesn't just why he's he's precise in

(38:02):
his moves. It's like it like defies physics and that
that is that's what that's extraordinary. So that so that
makes it special and that so that means I don't
care that these these string being that that that's extraord's
I'm not watching cheeseburger or Eli Hio do Hamburger SSA.
But yeah, Jack Cartwheel didn't do as much cartwheel defense

(38:26):
ortwheel offense as I'm used to, and I'm glad for that.
This is bar none the best I've seen. Laredo kid,
I don't know, and I don't it's probably seven or
eight years, maybe longer, like a couple of times he's
it's been fine, but this flow either they worked really
well together or they worked this matchout. I know, Laredo kid.

(38:46):
He he was on Evolved a couple of times. He
worked in TNN. I know Javon worked there, but whatever
it is that these guys obviously put in some time
work together and got this thing well. But everyone was
working good. And Laredo kid, you know, seemed like he
was I don't know, ten years younger.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Mm hmm indeed, and you were talking about how impressive
and how it just works for Javon. He hit that
long frog splash like he was so far away. I'm like,
how the hell is he gonna, you know, hit target,
but he did. It was like so impressive.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
This guy a.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Javon, Oh that that could be a nice thing to
get with Nike hair, Javon air avans or whatever. And
Laredo kid like hit that nice moon salt to the
outside where he holds up his knees like it's almost
like one of those flips you see when you're watching
the Olympics and they're actually doing the divings and stuff.

(39:50):
That's that's what it looked like. Dives, yeah, the swim dives,
and they did a they went into like what I
call like a kicks galore, like they were super kicking
the shit out of each other and everyone was down
at this point, and I just one thing. I noticed
that courts Wheel was selling so good, the pain on

(40:13):
his face, the screams, everything, and the crowd was up
at this point. Once the three went into the that
kick galore kind of thing, people were like standing And
what I really like is that, you know, even if
they they're more like lucha high flying kind of wrestlers, like,
they were still like hitting, like some hard shots, like

(40:37):
hard shots and good punches. You know, they went like
at one point they pushed Laredo went for a spinning
splash like in mid air that Javon cut into a cutter.
I was like, how the hell are like? It happened

(40:57):
so fast. The the splash was actually from Cartwheel and
Javon popped out of nowhere, Caughton in the cutter and
then went for his own springbird cutter and on Laredo.
So it was really back and forth in one move
and one move and one move, but it wasn't egregious.

(41:18):
It flowed. It makes sense. We had time to see everything.
And again, uh they were on the top rope Kidd
and Cartwheel and I don't know if you ever seen that.
It was like a huge German like a flipping German
souplex for the finish, some sort of Spanish fly German suplex.

(41:40):
I don't even know if there's an actual word for it,
because Conan said, like even Conan said, it's like I've
never seen that, and me too, I was like, I've
never seen that.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
Yeah, thank got it.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
Oh yeah, thank god it was. It was the finish
because this move was so impressive. I don't think there
would have been anything else that could beat this actual
move for being like impressive. So no, so it was great.
And even Conan says, like, you know what, there's no
losers in this fight. It was one of the most

(42:13):
brilliant high flying performance I've ever seen, said Graves. And
that's one thing I agree. The I flying we see
right now, Triple A. It's eye flying. That makes sense.
They're selling, they're looking at the crown.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
I have it.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
It's fast, but I still have time to see what's
going on and how they set up the move and
how they get there. And even jbo is like, that
was a hell of the match, and yeah, it's it's
high flying done right.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
Yeah, And the placement of all of the matches made sense.
They all work together. It was I'd say it was
probably the perfect placement of each and every match tonight,
to keep the show flowing, to keep it hot when
you want it to be hot, to slow down but
not be boring when you want to any and even
when it's when there was something that seemed like was
slow down, there was a reason for it because she

(43:06):
got an unexpected moment, and they'll do there's a couple
coming up later. But yeah, no, I thought this As
far as triple threat matches were concerned, this was great
title defense by the Triple A guy. So that's sort
of the theme. The Triple A people kept their titles.
The Triple A people generally went on top. Even in
the four tag team match, you know, a w w

(43:29):
E guy took the pin. So this this is again,
This is why I keep saying that I think this
is like Triple A's Christmas present, not just to its fans,
but also sort of WWE's today fans saying we're not
going to bury all your folks. Now. I don't feel
like a single fan in Triple A field. I think
they love seeing what they're getting.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
No, I just think it got it got better and
everybody is shining even more right now, like.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
There is sort of you know, the w C will
say w W wins everything and they're and they're not
and they're not.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
They're not. No, Like I feel like the Triple A
stars are even bigger stars now than they were, and
they have like tons of people watching them now. And
oh one thing we I think they're gonna mention it later,
but I will now. Actually, no, that's exactly where they
mentioned it before the next match. They're actually going on Fox,
Fox one and TUB starting January seventeen, so they're going worldwide.

(44:25):
So anybody that says that disassociation with WW is a
bad thing, it's not like they're gonna be everywhere starting
beginning in twenty twenty six. It's like crazy, this.

Speaker 3 (44:37):
Was the first I heard about toob we all heard
about Fox. I mean that's a big deal, especially you
know south of the Rio Grande. But TUB is everywhere now.
Is there gonna be erey commentary on TUB?

Speaker 1 (44:51):
They didn't mention that, but I wouldn't be surprised that
Graves and JBL and Conan are still doing the same job.
I don't know if it's going to be a weekly
thing or a monthly thing. I don't know, Like they
just announced that they were going there, but I don't
have the specifics of what. But anyway, it's.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Also something where that the people who aren't being used
can sort of fit into it, be put into come
to a guess coming the I mean, let's not I
let's say, you know, but Santos Escobar, who was you know,
not signed then re signed and hasn't really done anything since.
I mean, I'm sure that they have some idea as
to when they want to reintroduce him. That's what we're
waiting for. But like he could come in you know,

(45:30):
and and the guest commentary and start something.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
But I.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
Don't know if this is possible or not because he
works independently but doesn't work for CMML. But this this
would be a good place. I don't if I don't
know if he's ain't good at this is not I imagine.
Is that Cory Graves brother Sam Adonna's is like, you know,
as wrestle more in Mexico than he has in the US,
And yeah, why not hire him? Like like see Graves
and Adonnas do commentary together, but Adonna's is still an

(45:58):
active wrestle. I mean, I know Graves got cleared. Also,
I wonder if he still is maybe he could do
something there too, I mean, that could be fun.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
They can always do If they have TV every week now,
they have more possibilities of doing things like that. Or
maybe they're waiting for Escobar, especially for those new like
TV shows. They're gonna need storylines, they're gonna need people.
Escobar is used to TV. That could be the plan
for him. Let's not use him right now. Let's use
him for this new thing we have now. And maybe

(46:29):
he might be like a regular who knows like well, I'm.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
Almost gonna put him my another tinfoil cap here, because
somebody who is not usually very well behaved has been
really well behaved since his release non compete, and Androte
is not saying anything that he's saying all the right things.
He's even so, Yeah, it was my bad for going
to AW. I'm sorry, mister Kahn. I'm sorry TKO.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
He's it was my fault. There was a divorce.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
I am. He's taking all the I'm the worst. Those
those boats are on that they they're great. I stink
I make the boats worse. He goes he's going and
he's working a House of Glory. He went to iw A,
he's going to New Japan Pro Wresting. I just I

(47:17):
don't know. I'm wondering if this charm offensive is going
to lead somewhere, Like I'm sure he's trying to do
it to try to show the world that he's serious
and he's willing to do He was willing to go
over and do this.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
He's he's a great worker too, and I feel in
this environment he would thrive. So yeah, I keep going, man,
you'll I see him in Triple A like they he
can't work anywhere else. So, I mean, it doesn't work
with WWE their regular shows. Why not Triple A?

Speaker 3 (47:50):
Who knows it's a great place to to sort of
get back into the company backdor Way.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
But but if he wants to, yeah.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Very interesting. But we got our first and only women's match.
Next women's match. Okay, Yes, So this is when I
when I texted you, because Natty comes out with her
entourage and four guys. I asked her, this is Conan
have her son, that's you know, working security? You said
you didn't know? Did you look for it?

Speaker 1 (48:21):
After I I looked at the people and there's a
few familiar faces, and I was like, are these people
that I met when I worked for trifl a or
is it like, I don't know, Okay, familiar faces, but
I can't I can't.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Say now they all they basically all wear sunglasses. But
there was one guy who is basically he would be
like the third if you're watching the screen, he'd be
the third guy to the left. And he was like
over Natty's right shoulder. He's short, he was war darkness,
but he had that constant that that closed mouth frown,
that that Conan scowl. And I'm like, and I and

(48:58):
I was looking like it's like having dejau And I'm like,
holy shit, that's Conan's face, or at least that's Conan's
jawn mouth. And I was wondering, is that his kid?
I mean, not that he's the only person in the
world that has that, you know, resting face or whatnot.
But I don't know. It just crossed my mind maybe
that was Conan's kid, but it.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
Is a family thing, so who knows. I mean, yeah,
with the Natty with her entourage, and they want retribution
now because the last show where she was at was
November twentieth and they tried to injure her with the chair,
and that's how Lola came out to help with fabi apace,

(49:37):
and that's how we got this smash Los toxicas of
a Flamer Lady Maravilla Elaedra Versus. Like I said, Natalie, Natalie, Nanny,
thy Heart, Fabio, Lola Vice Love, Lolavice, Oh Lola, She's

(49:58):
she's so car comfortable in Triple A. Like I've said
it before in other shows we did where I was like,
I was not a fan of her. At NXT, I
was like, oh man, I didn't get into the MMA.
It was two Mma two. It's like she couldn't find
the right where to stand between being the sexy Latina

(50:23):
and the MMA fighter. It was either too much on
one side or too much on the It wasn't like
she couldn't find the right middle where with fit. But
now I feel she's like right where she needs to be.
She has that like Latina eat and and very like
sexy but still like in kick ass and like great

(50:44):
baby face, great fire.

Speaker 3 (50:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
I just feel she's she's so like comfortable in Mexico.
Like she to me, she's night and day, like I
really love her at Triple A.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Yeah, a little bit of a spoiler. After the match
was over, while people were still start of hanging around
she she was like not to be seen, and then
they panned the camera up and she was there was
a there was a m M A fighter in the
in the crowd that they spent a good time showing
you who she was. I mean, I don't know m
but she was talking to her and they were talking,
and they were talking, uh, and then she walked over

(51:15):
a couple of places and and to the president that
that woman we were mentioning, and you know, and she's
you know, shaking her hand very respectfully and saying hello,
and I think there was a little bit of a
hug and all. So she's really very well liked them,
very comfortable. She's she's going to she's basically working the crowd.
I think she was actually just I mean, it seemed
more like a bride greeting her guests than that.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
It seems genuine like she's she's around and she loves
the people. And yeah, that was and I like the
the announcers, the commentators put like everyone over. They even
mentioned that as as a team. I didn't I didn't
know if Conan had was allowed to say that, but
he said that lost toxic Us. They were all defeated

(52:00):
for a year and they were fighting against men. I
was like, I'm not sure they want them to say that,
but apparently like they're like a really popular faction in
Mexico and really put over the fact that, you know,
Fabi Apace is one of the most complete wrestler in Mexico.
She was trained by her dad. She was tag team
champion with or sister Maria Pace, and I felt for

(52:25):
this match, Fabi looked really fabulous. She had great fire,
the gear was great. I don't know if it was
like because the sudden change to WW the first time
I saw her and for having like I've wrestled Fabi
and she's indeed like she's one of my favorites, like
she's she's such a great wrestler. But I felt like

(52:47):
I didn't know what was missing the first few times
it's aar but in this match, my god, she was
fucking lit. And they started with you know, Natty shooting
like amateur background ish taking down and pretty quick like
ls Toxikas like showed the how much like they're used
to work together. They isolated Lola. I felt the psychology

(53:12):
of this match was really really good in a way
where it was set up with you know, the the
Babyfaces taking over at the beginning. We saw those like
quick kicks from Lola getting the crowd with a hip
attack and one of them had her face full of
ass for a few seconds like it was lost in lolos.

(53:34):
But she went for a saido. But they quickly like
I said, stop Lola and like isolated her while the
baby Faces were trying to get in and really good
psychology of cutting the ring in half and making sure
like she doesn't she's not near her corner. And at
one point, like they slapped her ass so hard, people

(53:56):
like streaming oh Oda, and she did not give another
give her another one. They used the referee real well
to cheat where the baby Faces were coming out, referees
was going on them and they were cheating in a
corner they did like a good thing where oh my god,
before that they did you see like the corner triple

(54:22):
team where they whipp looled a corner and they they
grab her by the legs and I I just rolled
down Vagina on the post. It's like it was like okay. Yeah,
I was like, okay, that's interesting. I was like okay,
But Lola fought back and she was able to tag

(54:43):
in Natty Naddy went in with some shots like a
head scissor, Russian legst week, big spinebuster, tagging Fabi Fabby
again like I said, great fire and they went like
for a double heart attack, which was a great wink
wink to Uncle Bret and uh Papa. That was kind
of cool, really like solid boot in the corner from

(55:05):
Fobby to the point where like her opponent one of
the toxic because I like they were all dressed together,
was hard for me to figure out which one it
was besides Flamer because yeah, like the the flaming hair,
but like the other two, I was like, oh my god,
who's who? But that's great when you are you have

(55:27):
a tag team and you kind of you can kind
of switch like that. It's really cool. But she hit
her so hard, just with a freaking boots and she
went right away for a cover. Like even JBL was like,
oh my god, what a veteran move, like you wouldn't
expect like someone go for a pin just from lifting
the boot in the corner. But the impact was so

(55:49):
hard and she went for a cover and they were
like he was like, oh my god, that is so
cool and I really like that too, and then speaking
of Vagina again that they want to go there, but
they Lola ended up in a corner, and you remember
when Goldas was doing the shattered dreams in the corner
where he would kick the person, well Flimmer. Flimmer went

(56:13):
for a drop kick as Lola had her legs wide
open in the corner. So that's why I was like, okay,
this is a drop yeah to the camelte Naddy broke
the count on this uh discus Larias from Naddy step
up in Ziggery from Maravilla. Lola went in with a

(56:35):
freaking like backfist, like a hell of a backfast and
then there was a roll up stump by Flamer and
Fobby went for her own finish the soup lex like
everybody was down, but when Fobby actually hit their dragon
soup lex one, two, three out of nowhere, it was
a fast match, but the psychology was great. The one

(56:58):
person was isolated. They went into that waterfall kind of
finished where everybody was like down from big moves with
Fobby hitting the Dragons Soup Lake for the one two three.
I enjoyed this match. It wasn't like it was quick
h and I think it was a nice a nice
like in between from the matches we had before. That

(57:21):
was really fast spaced. And of course the next one
that's gonna be coming up with Viking going draggingly that
have this huge feud now right.

Speaker 3 (57:32):
Yeah, this was actually a fairly short match. The rest
the female wrestlers in WWE have sort of surpassed, and
probably North America or I'm sorry, not North America, probably
the US and Canada they were at large, I sort
of surpassed the female wrestlers. They work primarily in Mexico.
It's a different style. I mean, they're more old school,

(57:54):
just so working sort of like like Nikolai Volkov and uh,
you know, iron Mark Sharp where you know. But also
we're talking about how comfortable Lola seems. Natty seems super duper. Actually,
Natty seems super comfortable every place she goes other than.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
W W Natty Natty can't adapt to pretty much any situation.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
No what she feels. I mean, I feel like she
feels she's like reinvigorate. It's it's like like when you
when you were using like shitty shampoo and then all
a sudden you use like great shampoo and your hair's
like whoa that first time. I feel like that's how
she feels every time. She's simply But anyway, so this
was not a Triple A team the one, but Faces
one and and Fabia Apatchi is very much a Triple A.

(58:43):
She's like sort of their female Johnson, and Lola.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
Is pretty much a Triple A two at this point,
I believe. And Natty's not on WWTV. I mean she's
she's doing like clips with Maxine Duke three. But besides that,
I like she doesn't rust so much, so it's it's
almost like she I think she's more active in Triple A.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
Actually I think so too. And I think the Lola
is probably gonna be, like, you know, for in the
next dozen years. I think she's going to be like
their champion the Act. Oh yeah, six of those years they.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
Have to they have She's she's money and people love her.
And speaking of people not love me so much. Oh
my god, that Leo the Viking go he just he
went out. First of all, he had a mass of
the Grinch and he did some crotch shop. I was like, Wow,

(59:37):
this guy is so hated they will never forgive him,
forget for being the reason why Alberto thrown what's thrown out? Well,
he's not the reason, but I mean storyline wise, he's
the guy that took his place. I was like, Oh,
my god. And I will say I I've seen the

(59:59):
King Go. I've seen many matches of him live and
on TV, and like, I appreciate his athleticism and he's
doing things that other people don't do, but he's also
I've always felt he was working a little fast and

(01:00:21):
there was a lot of fuck ups for I don't
have a better term, but like in matches. So I
was like, ah, but this honestly is the best vicing
Go I have seen. He's Oh, he's like above and
beyond everything else I've seen. In this match, it's like

(01:00:43):
he finally gets wrestling. His moves are I don't know
who was the agent for this match, but when you're
talking about perfect I flying match, this is one because
there was a clear heel, clear face, and the heel
was Yes, was doing impressive stuff, but it was spread

(01:01:06):
the part nicely where they meant something. He was cocky
about it. He was selling it right. You didn't want
to cheer him even if he was. What he was
doing was cool.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
You know. He reminded me of with his facials and
his body language and his physicality, the way he did
he moved his body like he he reminded me of
Dominic mysterio and the time he might not be possibly
better because we talked about Dominic's injury. That finally this
guy has gone onto a character that works for him

(01:01:40):
and sort of overcomes the fact that he looks you know,
to me, he still looks like a child in.

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
There, but now he has backup. We'll get to that.
But now, oh my god, he can win anything now,
I mean, it's it's great. It's awesome that they're the
other We'll get there. They mentioned that Dragon Leese father
was at Ringside second generation again and both Yeah, they're

(01:02:09):
both second generation and according JBL.

Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
Like when you were generation to be honest, uh, I
think so. Yeah, it's like in the family's brother and
there was the other one that is the third brother. No,
it's Gravity No, No.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
Oh my god, he was. He was the tag team
champion with Brody King. Wow, I have Benito. Yeah, they're brothers.

Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
I don't think Bandito is the brother. I think jo is,
but I think Gravity might be Bandido's brother anyway, Yeah, yeah,
I mean they're probably cousins. You know, they were there.
They're all guarss and and uh and Geanos guerreras. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
So this match starts as soon as the bell rings.
Draggedly attacks Vicing Go with like hard boots and punches
until the referee uh pushes them out and VI King
Doo comes back with a huge and I will say
huge fucking clothes line. JBL popped. JBL went crazy on

(01:03:26):
that clothesline. I've never seen something so solid for Viking
go and that was his first move.

Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
I was like, wow, what Well, I know he's not
particularly over in WWE or even trible A, but Dragonly
is a great worker and when he is and when
he's healthy and at the top of his game, he
he he might be one of the best loutra doors
in the world, and certainly one that nobody really thinks
of anymore. But you know, before he went to the
Evil Little Fed, people were crazy about him and Bandito,

(01:03:55):
Like you know, I said they would They were the
two best unsigned Lutra doors in the world and he
knows how to sell. So a little favorite spot of
mine is when Dragon Lee put on the styles clash,
but uh, like Kingo was able to kick out because
it's it's not Dragon Lee's finish, it's a J.

Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
Stiles's finisher exactly, it's not his move. But it was
nice that he used, you know, his partners move. But
throughout the match, Vikingo was beating down Lee. He was
taking his time, he was embracing the eighth. They went
outside and there was a little thing where they ended

(01:04:38):
up in the stairs, a little bit in the table.
There was like a double collision in the middle of
the ring, but Viking Go apparently got the best of
the hit, so he was up and that's where he
tied up the mask Dragon Lee's mask to the road
and people were screaming Neel though, which is like you're
a piece of shit basically. So I was like, wow, no,

(01:05:01):
that was so great.

Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Suddenly was so mad about the mask.

Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
Oh my god, yeah, it ripped it like and they
went to the outside and there was a nice Aribian press,
and I liked it that they mentioned sab on commentary.
That's like, oh, he's doing like the Arabian press from
Sabu and then you got Viking Go slammed Lee on

(01:05:26):
the ground, did that shooting star press to the floor,
then a big shooting star press in the inside, and
it goes back to what I was saying, Viking Go,
even as a heel, was still hitting his big moves,
but the way he was doing them and the way
he was like lifting his arm and was like, Flee
applaud me, you know how I'm great, Like he was

(01:05:48):
so cocky about it. It didn't matter that he was
hitting flashy moves. He even went for big like fish
hooks into Dragon Lee's mouth and then it was like
counter for counter, really like a snap German from Lee,
a poison na for VIKINGO tire bomb kickout. It was like,

(01:06:12):
like I said, this smash like mad Senate had great
psychology with high flying integrated and where it made sense. Well,
at one point Lee had like Viking goo like in
a half crab and he was selling so good, screaming
and Lee was even stumping his head like it was

(01:06:32):
that was a great shot. There was like a stump
to the outside where Lee started selling his knee, which
I don't think he got hurt, but he was so
high doing the stumps that it made sense, and he
launched himself like a bullet, like going through the rope
into a flipping tope suisida where both ended up like

(01:06:56):
in the Spanish table that didn't break. That the table
didn't break. Once again, Stay Luca ste lucha. This is wrestling.
Dragonly went for his running elbow only two count. He
picked up Viking go and then whipped him in the corner.

(01:07:17):
He went through the ropes and here's something else I
don't think I've seen ever. Viking go hit Dragonly with
like a crucifix driver from the top rope. That was
pretty impressive. I don't think I've seen that before. Went
for a Meteora, started to you know, talk trash again,

(01:07:39):
hits his six thirty Rana rolls and that's where the
styles clash happened. Lee Rana's Viking go to the outside
and goes for a dive. But that's where little Viking
go little you know, evil person pulls Darryl Sarma, the referee,

(01:08:00):
and Daryl catches Dragonly on that that like it was
like a slipping salt on over the top rope.

Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
So he gets knocked out.

Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
Oh yeah, he's knocked down. He's out of it. Viking
Go gets the chair, they get inside the ring.

Speaker 3 (01:08:17):
Dragon got afraid of Jelly because I know he's a RAF.
If you just bump into him, he'll fall down.

Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
Well that that was impressive, like he he caught Dragon,
so Dragon was good. He ducks the chair. Is they
both to hit his operation Dragon, but there's no official
so no referee. Dragonly gets up, tries to you know,
a hey, referee, come in like he's near the ropes,
telling the ref to get up to get back to

(01:08:46):
his senses. Viking Go goes for a nice slow blow boom,
and here it comes the giant Omas walks down the
aisle and Viking Go is shaking in his pants. I'm
gonna get I'm gonna die. Oh my god, oh my god.
And then By almost gets in and Viking goes not

(01:09:07):
attacking him. He's like, I don't want to deal with
that shit. And then By, like Dragonly, being the courageous one,
faces off Widow almost starts to hit him. Nothing's happening,
almost as a wall.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
He's not, but he should have tried to talk to
him first. He said, hey, we're both friends with aj.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
Well, it cost him a lot because this is the
highest last five I've ever sey Dragon.

Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
Let that be a lesson to you. Start with words,
use your lives.

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Godd last ride very high, very very high. Dragonly is
dead plays him in the corner.

Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
They get the referee up, like if I can go
hits his six thirty, then.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
They got almost yester to him.

Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
Yeah you know he's yours one two three Viking go
wins and he's happy and he's smiling, and he's doing
those little fuck us to people.

Speaker 3 (01:10:12):
Anybody's still looking like he's surprised, he's trepidacious. What's almost
doing there? And then the eye guy, I guess he's
the president.

Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
Dorian rolled on of elh the eye. Uh yeah, they
call it the eyes that sees everything comes out and
then mentions like without the three other guys, So yeah, yeah,
it's the new they say it's the new version. H
JB alcohols him the bring the bronze in the future,

(01:10:41):
and uh, pretty much what Dorian says is that is
that the best you can bring And he insults dragging
Lee's fathers and was at the ringside He's like, right now,
I have the most impressive athlete in almost I have
the best luchador pound for pound in vicing the eye.

(01:11:01):
The new eye right now is taking over and we
leave on that. And like I said, this is the
best vicing goo match I've ever seen. It was high flying,
that makes sense. I flying done right, clear baby face,
clear heeled. You knew who to shear? You knew who

(01:11:22):
to you know? Boo, Yeah, this this.

Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
Match was It's a grudge match, but because it's Dragonly
and we're not really conditioned here in the US, if
they kind of think of Dragonly is a big deal, necessarily,
it didn't really feel that much like a grudge match
to me. But this this changed. First of all, I mean,
kudos to both of them, but especially if I can go.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
I have been extremely hard on and see you know.

Speaker 3 (01:11:48):
And discab it. But he performed magnificently. And this whole thing,
this was executed perfectly. And what a lot of people
didn't see is when they're wondering why the Coastguard hasn't
caught that venezuela and tanker yet, it's because it was
hiding behind almost his back. So when we saw his back,
there was actually an oil tanker hiding back there and
there was probably room for a second one almost is gigantic,

(01:12:11):
and and why they don't use him more often, I
don't know, maybe the reasons moviment. I know, we went
to know, I know, but but you know, I'm sure
being the royal rumble. But this is great. This, this,
this is a great role.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
It fits with the KINGO, like the smallest guy of
them all with the biggest one, like he can win
any match now he has almost everything is going to
make sense now.

Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
Yeah, no, this is like tiny bque and and like
the Dieselless Diesel.

Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
The new two dudes with attitudes. I don't know how
we would say that in Spanish, but they should. They
should rebrand that two dudes with attitude.

Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
Whatever it was, it was a fantastic visual. I don't
know if aj Styles is going to get involved, good
my partner, who's my partner? You know, probably not, but.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
You know that would be cool. A Jane Dragonly versus
almost and VIKINGO. There's history, there's history there.

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
Yeah I didn't just pull it out. Yeah, there's a commonality.
But anyway, this was great. You know, it almost hurts
me to say this, but this was great. Its almost
say this almost.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
And now we get to the main event of the night.
That's why we're here. It's raymus Cereal replacing Penta and
Phoenix versus Los Gringo's two point zero Grand Americano and
Dominic mystereo and the first one coming out is Grande

(01:13:47):
and people are chanting all day and I'm like, bring
back El Generico ever see this, I'm like, oh my god.
But he's so over. They even say on commentary he's
a fan favorite, which is crazy because he's he's teaming
up with Dominic, who is really popular in Mexico. But
in this match, we'll see who's more popular.

Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
That's one thing that Conan mentioned and I thought was
really interesting. He says, like the fact that Grande Americano
learned the language of the people and that he embraces
their culture. They don't see it as something like bad,
like they don't see as him, you know, using their culture.
Whatever they see it. They see that as love and

(01:14:34):
that's why they love him so much.

Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
Learned, So I want to work for another great person
like Elgrande Americana. I mean, but honestly, people were in
were into the Elgrande Americano before was Ludvig Kaiser before
Livia Kaiser revealed that he spoke Spanish. So I'm sure that,
I mean, listen, I'm sure that only takes it to
the stratosphere. But it was already the people. The people

(01:14:57):
are clearly not looking for things to be enraged about,
like people in America are looking for to show how
virtuous they they are about the Every entertainment can still
be entertaining, fun and a little bit. We have a
German guy pretending to be an American guy pretending to
be a Mexican guy. I mean, and they still announce
him at chad Gables listed weight of two hundred and

(01:15:19):
two miles. The guy's like six three and a half.
I mean, it's the whole, the whole thing. And and
like his I don't know what you call that thing
where her hands puts his hand, he has his hand
down like he's the queen, like you're gonna kiss his ring,
but he does like like the lamest little high fives
or low fours that you do with this.

Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
It's like kiss my hand, but don't kiss it.

Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
It's like it's like be gentle, I work with my hands.
I mean, yeah, I use hamala, but still this this,
this whole thing is is great and they cheer for
Dominic too, but there's still the heels like it's so weird.
Wrestling fans can just Stan, they can they can cheer,
but still know they're supposed to, you know, cheer for
the other guys. It's it's it's so weird. It's almost

(01:16:02):
like fans are allowed to be fans.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
It's funny because Dumb Dumb comes out and he has
a huge spot from the crowd. He's definitely a big
freaking star. I like that his gear Actually, Coenan explains
his gear that there's a lot of stuff in his
gear that's paying homage to Race Senior. That's why, like
he's wearing all those like cow prints and whatever. It

(01:16:28):
all goes back to Ray Senior, which is are things
that I didn't necessarily like. No, and now I know
because I like that. They give Yeah, they give the
background the mask.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Of course, uncle, he's generation not the dead.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Be dad, what are you talking about? But you know,
Phoenix comes out with a kid. The kids used to
the crowd. He's posing to the crowd. He've done it before.
He's working the camera man. Phoenix has a great intro
song I'm just gonna say it, and and all the
shit song we hear with Deaf Rebel whatever. I mean,

(01:17:10):
Oh thank God, Phoenix is Phoenix and Pantos I have
great interest music. I'm just gonna say it. Uh rais
Buyaca can be here. It's a long freaking entrance with
the autographs of pictures. I'm like, this is Ravy Cereals
now that the Jay Uso of Triple A. But in Mexico, honestly,
it's something. Uh we don't see it as much in

(01:17:32):
the Triple A show because I mean, they have to
respect time. But it's a usual thing where when somebody
comes out, you take pictures right away, you sign autographs
on your way to the ring. It's not it's something
that happens at every match and sometimes that's why shows
are so long. But you know, uh, raise embracing it.

(01:17:54):
And I I love the quote that JBL gets at
this point, like the crowd's super hot for Ray, like
they're screaming Ray, Mysterio, Ray, Mystereo, and JBL goes here
Mysterio trying to get a paycheck on the back of
his son.

Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
I was like, God, JBL is a great heal announcer. Right, yeah,
oh my god, I'll never forget that. The the you
know again, the US audience looking to be a rage machine?
Where were so they picked on more?

Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
Now shut up? Shut Oh my god. You remember jbl
in the border for like segments, Oh my god, with
the with the real move.

Speaker 3 (01:18:37):
I mean, it's it's that that should.

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
Be allowed in wrestling. It's a character. They do it
in the movies.

Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
Anyway, Wrestling used to be edgier than regular TV. Now
regular TV is edgier than wrestling. It's a constant frustration.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
Because they can't separate the character and the person who
plays the character, which.

Speaker 3 (01:18:58):
Is modern fans are so desperate to want to believe
and convince themselves in the world the wrestling is real
that they think that they're real people acted as opposed
to characters.

Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
Hey, there's still Mana Johnson is What can I say?

Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
So I tell you that I am actually a little
bit relieved that it was Ray and Ray only because listen,
I think the Lucha Brothers were great, but I think
the Penta is such a great single star on his
own that the temptation to put him with Ray Phoenix
was too much. And this was almost like quetzal Quado

(01:19:30):
stepping in saying no, no, no, he's a star. Let
him do his singles thing. You can always put them
together when they slow down in two or three years.
And then they did the tag team again when you
need it, so you know, I actually think this is
a good thing. Ray Mysterio, like you said, what a
great substitute, maybe an upgrade those Rays. I mean I

(01:19:50):
think I think it's great two kings whatever, it's fantastic.
And and Penta continue to do is his solo journey
and you don't have to like think is he a
tag name wrestler and Triple A. Oh, we want to
see the Luca brothers and on raw on whatever's gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
We will and we will eventually. And I mean for
for this match, like uh, Grande starts with Phoenix and
they're going holds for hold reversus face off a lot
showing a lot of amateur background. I really like that
thing where Grande is upside down and he claps he
gets the crowd going with his feet while he's like

(01:20:31):
straight up like it's it's just great. They both go
like for running Ranas and Pinna Tamp's face off Finally
Dominic gets in with the Ray mystereo, but hey, he
ends up outside, he rolls out and then tags it again.
And that's exactly where you see that Ray is more

(01:20:53):
popular than Dominic because they love dumbg They're gonna cheer
for him. But now it's all Ray Mysterio and they're
booing the crap out of Dominic. There's even a chant
like there's telling him how Puto, which is like the prostitute,
and even the very mysterials like getting into it, like
he stops and he gets the people el Puto. I

(01:21:16):
thought that was great.

Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
This has to be so much fun for the two
of them, their adversaries. I'm sure Ray is proud as
hell of Dominica. Oh my god, Dominic, this is great.
So it's just a shame that he did. He seem
to have heard his elbow and I hope it's just like,
you know, a sublxation or something, or a bruise, but
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Yeah, so that Grande comes in. Uh, it's pretty much
strength versus agility at this point where you know Ray
and then he tags Phoenix and there's fantastic teamwork by
dos Reis and Dumpules a Ray Masterial outside Grande does
like a rolling santon on Phoenix and then once again

(01:21:59):
good tag team psychology. They start working on Phoenix by
isolating him in the corner, cutting the ring in half.
Grande has like some solid shots like every time he hits,
like the kicks and the punches, it's like ow like
that really like sounds like painful. And Dom is getting

(01:22:19):
booed like crazy, and I love that Phoenix. Phoenix is
always alive. He's like fighting back. He tries to like
he tries, he stays up. At one point, there's even
like a part where he's able to send Dom to
the outside super kick Grande's uh rende. They're both down
and Dom pulls Ray Mixterial on the apron and so

(01:22:45):
he can't tag. There's nobody so great he'll tag team
right there. Phoenix again, like I said, stay alive, even
attempts some pins. He gets stopped, and then there's a
double whip where Dom ends up on the third rope.
Phoenix grab grands in his hand, he walks the rope,
kicks them to the head, arms drag Grande, who rolls out,

(01:23:09):
and then finally hot Tag Ray Mysterio comes in the
crowd goes absolutely nuts. He tries to go for a
six to one nine years stop by Dominic, with a
very like solid back elbow, goes for the three m
egos and that's where it happens. On the last souplex,

(01:23:31):
Dominic goes for a standing that Ray reverses into a DDT,
but you clearly see on the landing Dominic is holding
his shoulder. So at this point, like there's like a
time I wouldn't say a time off, but you see
something is something is awry. Rais Abel like Phoenix tags in,

(01:23:58):
Ray tags in. They both do like I was going
to say the Road Warrior, but that's not it like Phoenix, Yeah,
it's not the Doomsday device. But they pick him up
in the Domesday device kind of position, and Mysterio goes
for a seated santan. Uh Grande breaks the count and

(01:24:20):
then unfortunately you see Dominic holding his shoulder again. Then
they go for a few like a submission on the ropes.
Dominic is able to do a Michinoku driver on Ray
out of nowhere, so uh one two Phoenix breaks the count.
There's a back kick to Dom's head from Phoenix Grande

(01:24:42):
kicks Phoenix, and Rey goes on Grande's shoulders and he
hits what we call like a casadora into a face first,
and so everybody is down like there was like kicks kicks, uh,
and then this big casadora into the face first. Everybody
he is down, So Ray and Dumb Ray being when

(01:25:04):
I says he, I'm gonna call the other guy Phoenix
because like it's like confusing at this point. So Papa
and his son are both up. First. Dumb tries to
remove Ray's masks, but the ref light goes on mysterio
to see's all right. Grande gets something in his pants

(01:25:26):
and oh my god, was it hard. I don't know
how far it was in his tight but he was
trying to give that thing his end when almost up
to his ass. He I probably moved during the mask,
but he can get that plate, Oh my god. And
the referee is like busy China.

Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Obviously it was.

Speaker 1 (01:25:50):
Hard to get. It wasntwhere in there, and that's where
Panta arrives and Phoenix walks the ropes kicks kicks Grande
and I don't know how he can walk. It's like
walking like the way Undertaker does. But by himself, but
really fast. He kicks Grande Penta grabbed the metal plate

(01:26:14):
and puts it in his mask, which I thought was wrong.
Yeah yeah, and I was like, this is so great.
Finally someone is using their own gimmicks against like them
the loaded plate and two feet into Pentas masks and
he had butts dumb, real hard. You can actually hear

(01:26:37):
the clock like and Phoenix dives on. Grande Ray finally
hits the six one nine and flies from the outside
and with a like a it's not a springboard splash,
but he kind of like shoots himself from the outside
to the inside into the splash one two three and

(01:27:01):
once again like first of all huge pop and like
amazing pop. People are like really freaking happy. Dom is
holding his shoulder rolls away and JBL goes like they
they were three on two. They used the four object
the dead peat. Dad wants people to go home like happy,

(01:27:24):
but I want them to go home miserable, like so great,
great great stuff is like from JBL calls it a
miscarriage of injustice.

Speaker 3 (01:27:35):
Again another one he's he said, he said a bad
couple of months.

Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was mad and so.

Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
Grande eventually gets up and he's and he's, you know,
trying to console dominic and Dominick's like, I don't want
anything to do with you. He shoves them away.

Speaker 1 (01:27:49):
Push, Yeah, he pushes Grande Americano. People are like, whoa, no,
don't do this, and it's like and he just leaves.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
He takes his belts and he takes his boat. And
this is when I finally figured out that the injury
was real, because he was working through it. I mean,
it looked really his shoulder was being carried lower than
the other, but he put both belts over his left shoulder,
and that's when I'm like, yeah, it's definitely real, and like,
I'm like, kudos to working through all that. Well, all
of those moves look like ones you shouldn't do on

(01:28:20):
an injured shoulder. And I hope that he didn't exacerbate
whatever it was, but for working through it. But let's
assume that he didn't for the moment, and just either way,
just give him his flowers for walking through it, because
that's sort of what you're supposed to do if you can,
as the show must go on. But yeah, he walked
away and Grande's left with the other three guys and

(01:28:41):
instead of fighting the Ray puts his hand out on
a Grande Americano shakes his hand and then swiftly walks
out and they all look confused like oh Sportsmanlike it.

Speaker 1 (01:28:51):
Was the biggest pop of the show. Seriously, it was
the biggest pop of the show when Grande shook Ray
Miss Cereals and it was like, of course JBL goes
he's a trader, and but people were like they started
chanting like Grande, Holy, Holy, Holy, Grande Grande. And I'm like,

(01:29:18):
this guy can't never leave Mexico, like he he's a god.
He's a god. Like as much as Ray miss Cereal
is over, Like we've seen how much they love Ray
miss Cereal in that match, Like if you didn't know
at this point and this match, it was clear because

(01:29:38):
they they love Dominic. But I mean Ray is far
like above and beyond all that, like he's he's at
another level of being loved and cherished by.

Speaker 3 (01:29:51):
The people of Mexico and was a walking legends. Oh
my god, yes, he's a walking performing legend now around
the America. You're right, he he's a king down there,
he's a god. He should stay down there. He should
take acting lessons, and once he's done with this, he
should just go straight to Hollywood where he plays vampires
or like nasty like European aristocrats in movies, novella whether

(01:30:17):
you could do like the Christopher Walt's role where he's
always like like he's the new blow Felt in Bond,
or he's a Nazi or whatever. But I mean, like
he even looked like when he did that upside down thing,
I was thinking he looked like a vampire, but his
facial expressions so like when George Hamilton did a vampire.
So I don't and like George Hamilton, I'm like, like

(01:30:38):
eighty percent of our audience is like who what? But anyway,
uh yeah, good, good for him. Listen, the crowd was happy,
great ending. Shame about the injury. Hopefully it's not as
severe as the reports are saying. I don't know who.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Hopefully it's just like it's just the shoulder that popped
out and you know, went back in and there's no
major damage, like a few weeks and he's gilpefully it's
what it is. But yeah, with shoulders, we never know.
Because I thought Penta would be back by this show

(01:31:16):
and he's not, Like he's still on the injury list,
like he I love that they I hope. I love
the fact that they used them, you know, for the
finish and he was still involved in the match. That
was great to see him and he had such like
a big part of of this match. And but yeah,
I mean hopefully he's gonna be okay for the Royal Rumble.

Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
I don't, we don't know way for contact. That must be. Yeah,
he's away. But then they brought in Ray Ray Phoenix's
kid again. And they brought in the kid maybe it
was Penta, so I'm not sure by the kid wearing
a pent outfit and they they did the Penta strut
and and like in this case, these kids have practiced it.
So these kids were pretty good. So they they have

(01:32:00):
it down pretty pretty good doing the the pentastraut. So
you know, again they left the crowd again. I thought
it was like a Christmas present. Everyone have a happy
holiday season. We'll see you next year. The next show
they announced was in January plus the Fox.

Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
Yeah, the Fox. The Fox shows.

Speaker 3 (01:32:21):
Still on YouTube or we don't know yet.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
I don't know yet. I don't know if it's I
don't know if it's like something else completely different, like
maybe pay per views will be on YouTube and like
their weekly show maybe will be on Fox or to B.
I don't know, but you know they they have we
can say now that Triple A has TV like and

(01:32:44):
and big TV stations and too B is free, so
it's it's easy to get for anybody. So they're absolutely
going worldwide. And the show ended with Corey greg saying
twenty twenty six will belong to Triple A, will belong
to LUCHI, and I don't think he's wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Maybe, So this has been a lot of fun and
it's a nice change of pace, and I think they're
working the people in very well. That NXT people main
roster people literally being unused. I know that there was
a clip where Apollo Cruise was was at one of
the Triple A shows, So that's good to see him
back healthy and work in.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
Yeah, he's such a he's a great eye flyer, but
I don't think we've seen half of what he can
do in WWE. Triple A might be the place for him.

Speaker 3 (01:33:29):
That would be great, sure, Yeah, absolutely so very exciting.
MLW your next get your TV deal, you announce your
stuff CMML CML I'm all for you, but since you
work with MLW, you know I'll see the best of
you there. Sorry, I'm still probably not gonna watch any
W so I'll do.

Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
But but with that being said, I'm gonna say this,
like I for the past few months, I've enjoyed the
Triple A pay per views more than the w D
pay per views, Like I had more fun watching these shows,
and to me, everything made more sense because it's, like

(01:34:08):
I said, it's Luca done right. It's it's impressive, it's athleticism,
it's it's characters, it's hard shots. Like there's nothing that
looks weak. You know, it's no really, like if I
compare to everybody, like still talking about Saturday Night Main Event.

(01:34:32):
I like the show. There's like there was good stuff
in there. But I have more fun watching Triple A,
like I've I'm not I don't know, I don't know
how you feel when you watch it, but it's just
like it goes by fast. It's it's easy to watch.
You don't ask yourself twenty five questions while you're watching

(01:34:53):
the match. You know who's the heel, you know who's
the face, you know what's going on. It's not too
intricate to the point where, wow, what's the storyline. It's clear, Yeah,
And I don't need twenty thousand videos to understand what's
going on because in the ring, I can. I can understand.

Speaker 3 (01:35:11):
Yeah, it takes you along for the ride, and you
can just follow up and you can you can. You
can just follow it and enjoy the show. You don't
have to study it, like like you're watching, you know,
the movie Heretic or something. We have to pay attention
to every you know, or a mystery movie or whatever.
We have to pay attention to every point.

Speaker 1 (01:35:26):
And I like that.

Speaker 3 (01:35:27):
I mean, maybe it's because I'm not that invested in it,
but I'm having fun and that that's all matters. And
I I'm not watching the ww main roster. I have
watched two out of the three Last Sentance main event.
I did enjoy the last one, but because of the
three NXT focus match, because NXT is what I love,

(01:35:47):
you know and and evolve, so I love watching that.
So all of that was great. I didn't have strong
feelings about the John Cena match, but I never really
had strong feelings about John Cena. I mean, I know
he's been there and I know what he's done. I'm
not immune to it. But he didn't have an impact
like the Rock or Stone Cold or Rick Flair or
hul Cogan did. I mean, he just didn't. He's sort

(01:36:08):
of like Edge or Sting. He's just sort of always
been there. And you know, and I realized to most
people he's bigger than that. I'm not saying that my
view is right, it's just that's I'm one of those
people you feel right right, So I you know, I
thought it was fine. I didn't I thought the ending
was a little bit goofy. But everyone's bending over backwards
to explain the story. Yeah, we got but I think

(01:36:31):
more than the rationale for the story or what Scena
was thinking, is that what happened is what you didn't
think was gonna happen. You didn't think that you thought
it was going to pass out. So whatever it is,
people are gonna be talking about this for thirty years,
like like like like the Screwjob or the Poke of Death. So,
whether you like it or not, Triple H likes to
make moments, and they will be making This is a
moment that was made.

Speaker 1 (01:36:51):
They're talking about it and they will keep talking about.

Speaker 3 (01:36:54):
It, and we did somehow on a Triple A show, So.

Speaker 1 (01:36:58):
Yeah, exactly, And uh, I guess there's going to be
another show coming. I don't have the date besides the
January seventeen show that they announced that they're going on
to be in Fox. I don't know. I guess we'll
have more details in the upcoming weeks of it. Is
it like a TV show or is it a pay
per view?

Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
We'll know.

Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
We'll know. Also what's going on with Dominic Mysterio. Like
we said, hopefully it's nothing major, but I mean one
de I'm a Rocano as a babyface. I'm I'm here
for it. I can't wait to see it. And they're
great as a team though. They did great first match,
so yeah, I'm all for I'm into what Vikingo's doing

(01:37:41):
with Almost and Dorian and yeah, it's like I want
to see what's coming up next, so I'll be watching
And until then, you can listen to The Wrestling Soup

in wrestling and fans and fandom and everything, so unique context.
She is in fact a clinical psychologist. We have other
things on the way, John Kiernan's Ropes and Riffs show,

(01:39:56):
where John Kiernan does wrestling entrance music. He's done for
a lot of people. He is great guests that are
in wrestling and in music. The guy did knock at
Moore's Uh theme was on the show and performed it
live on it on his show. So his shows are
gonna start being loaded here. I'm gonna start putting the

(01:40:16):

if you didn't listen to them before, uh, maybe you'll
give it a chance now. And there's other stuff too,
we're working with other people to build other shows. Uh.

(01:40:37):

Maybe we'll even get to a w or ringamnor shows.

NWA show and stuff like that. So, so subscribe to network.

Speaker 2 (01:40:50):

Garden of Thought, which is the if you discount the
show with mister Thomas from MLW Wrestling PJ from everywhere,
they're they're definitely not wrestling related. They're they're more like

(01:41:13):
Joe Rogan or Ancient Aliens or like the History Channel
to Night. But definitely subscribe there. They are a lot
of fun too, just to the show on the Lord
of the Rings put it up there. So and we
did some Game of Thrones as well. So, and I
do other things here there. But if you follow me
on the x A Dose Underscore Evil, believe me, whatever
I do, you'll find whatever Lou does, you'll find her

(01:41:34):

Speaker 3 (01:41:48):
This will be this will you know, it's going to
go from a four or five show thing to probably
you know, double that, you know, probably by February, and
hopefully you'll enjoy all of that content. Thanks so much
that maybe we'll have to have a Patreon. I don't know,
maybe we'll have to have cool March. I don't know. Anyway,
I babbled on about the plugs enough, please support wrestling

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
