Speaker 1 (00:00):
The story of Chris Benoir has been told countless times before,
a tragic fall from grace, a descent into madness, and
an ending too horrific to comprehend. But this video is
not a retelling of the last weekend of his life.
This iceberg dives deeper into the darkest corners of the
Benoir tragedy, into the whispers, the unanswered questions, the unsettling
(00:21):
details that no one dares to explore or talk about.
As we descend, the lines between fact and speculation begin
to blur, because sometimes the truth isn't just difficult to face,
it was something that was never meant to be uncovered.
This is the Chris Benoir Iceberg disclaimer. This video is
(00:42):
intended for mature audiences and is made for educational and
documentary purposes. The entries discussed in this iceberg are meant
to be thoroughly analyzed with the viewers intuition and personal judgment.
This video is not intended to disrespect the deceased, but
to explore the lesser known, unsettling aspects of the Crispin
WIRs tragedy. Discretion is advised and was starting off at
(01:04):
the tippity top of the Iceberg Tier six, with our
first entry on Tier six being the Kevin Sullivan murderer theory.
One of the most chilling and persistent conspiracy theories surrounding
the Benoit tragedy is the belief that Chris Benoir didn't
actually take the lives of his wife, son, and himself,
but instead their murder was orchestrated by Kevin Sullivan. Kevin
(01:27):
Sullivan wasn't just any wrestler. He played a demonic cult
like character in w c W, leading the Dungeon of Doom,
a faction filled with supernatural overtones and satanic imagery. To some,
it was just a gimmick, but others believed that Sullivan's
ties to the occult were very real and he was
an actual Satanist. Nancy and Kevin Sullivan's story is stranger
(01:48):
than fiction. They were married while Sullivan, who was also
a w c W booker, decided to script his wife
into an on screen affair with Chris Benoit, but what
started as the storyline became real. Nancy felt for Benoit,
left Sullivan and later married Chris. Sullivan lost his wife
to another man in front of the whole world, and
Sullivan never remarried. Again. Despite Benoir publicly stating that he
(02:10):
respected Sullivan's professionalism in the ring, their hatred for each
other was undeniable. The day after Sullivan became w CW's
head booker, Benoir abruptly defected to WWE, making it clear
that he wanted nothing to do with Sullivan's leadership. Some
say that Sullivan never forgave him. When Chris Benoit, Nancy,
and their son Daniel were found dead in June of
(02:31):
two thousand and seven, the case was immediately ruled as
a murder suicide, but something felt off, and one name
kept surfacing in whispers, Kevin Sullivan. This theory suggests that
Sullivan's ties to Satanism weren't just for show, and still
harboring a hatred for Benoir, he orchestrated the killings in
a ritualistic fashion, not only to eliminate Benoir, but to
destroy his legacy forever. One piece of evidence that these
(02:54):
theorists point to is the timeline of the murders. Nancy
Benoir officially divorced Kevin in June of nine, teen ninety seven,
and exactly ten years later, almost to the day, she
was found dead in her home along with Chris Benoit
and Nancy and Chris's son Daniel. Was this a coincidence
or a message? Sullivan has denied any involvement and there's
(03:14):
no concrete evidence linking him to the crime. But for
those who believe in the darker forces behind wrestling, this
theory refuses to die. And up next we have Nancy
Benoir crime scene questions. The official story states that Chris
Benoi murdered his wife Nancy on Friday June twenty two,
two thousand and seven, but there are strange inconsistencies in
the police report that had fueled speculation for many years.
(03:36):
The police reports on where Nancy's body was found changed
a few times. At first, they said that Nancy was
found in an upstairs bedroom, then they said that Nancy
was found in the basement, and then they changed it
back to that Nancy was found in an upstairs bedroom.
Many people question why the police changed their reports. Also,
Nancy's death was highly calculated. She was bound at the
(03:57):
hands and feet with coax le cables, gagged her face,
wrapped in a towel, and straggled. Some people say that
the methodical nature of the murder was too precise for
someone suffering from a mental breakdown. And then there's the
missing DNA evidence. Authorities never released a full forensic breakdown
of the crime scene because they never took any fingerprints
or DNA samples, which was very, very weird. Was this
(04:21):
just sloppy police work or is there more to the
story than what we were told? Some believe the inconsistencies
point to an unknown factor in the crime, one that
has yet to be discovered. And up next we have
the Daniel Benoit crime scene. Questions. From everyone who ever
knew Chris Benoir, they would always say how much he
loved his son, Daniel, which makes it so strange how
(04:41):
the last weekend of Benoit's life played out. During their investigation,
a knife was found underneath Daniel's bed, but there were
no instances of it being used on Daniel. Benoir reportedly
sedated his son with xanax before smothering him to death.
When news broke of this horrible tragedy, many news outlets
said that Chris Benois Lady Sun by using his finishing move,
(05:02):
the crippler crossface, but this was later debunked and confirmed
as not true. Then there's a strange claim that Daniel
had fragile X syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes developmental delays.
The media pushed this narrative after the murder, but no
medical records or family testimony confirmed it. In fact, Daniel
was reportedly in good health and showed no signs of
(05:24):
the condition. The media pushed this narrative as a way
to manipulate public perception, painting Benoir as a father who
may have snapped due to stress of raising a special
needs child. There are also reports of a needle mark
on Daniel's arm, but this was never officially explained in
the autopsy report. What is true, though, is that the
police used the level of decomposition in the bodies to
(05:44):
piece together a timeline, and they concluded that Nancy died
on Friday, Daniel died on Saturday, and Chris died on Sunday. However,
many conspiracy theorists have argued that the varying temperatures in
the rooms where the murders took place may make decomposition
an unreliable indicator, and that Daniel may have died earlier
than reported. And up next we have Chris Benoit crime
(06:05):
scene questions. Chris Benoir's death was ruled as a suicide,
but there are several strange details surrounding his body that
have left room for speculation. One of the biggest inconsistencies
is the presence of xanax and hydro codone in his system.
Toxicology reports showed that he had a significant amount of
both substances in his body at the time of his death.
(06:25):
A xanax and hydro codone are powerful sedatives, meaning that
if Benoit had willingly taken that much, he should have
been nearly unconscious. Yet he supposedly had the strength and
coordination to set up a complex pulley system. He allegedly
used a weight machine to do the deed, but some
experts have pointed out that this would have required incredible
strength and precision, even for a trained athlete. The body
(06:47):
of Chris Benoir was also reported in different positions, depending
on the officer. One officer said that Benoit was found
lying on the floor next to the machine, while another
officer said that Benoit was slumped against the machine. Benoir
was also allegedly found with a towel around his neck,
and this has led to many conspiracy theorists to wonder
why a person who was seeking to take their own life,
(07:09):
would care about the potential scars on their neck. Then
there's the alcohol mystery around Benoit's body. Investigators found ten
empty beer cans and a partially four bottle of wine.
Despite this, his toxicology reports showed no alcohol in his
system at the time of his death. Even stranger. Authorities
never took DNA evidence from the cans or the bottle.
(07:30):
If they had, would they have found only Benoir's DNA
or someone else's DNA too. This critical lack of forensic
testing has led many to question whether investigators really got
the full story. The inconsistency surrounding Crispin Want's body leave
a disturbing question hanging in the air. Was he truly
in control of his actions that night? Or was there
something or someone else involved? And up next we have
(07:54):
Royd's and CTE. When Crispin WA's toxicology results came back,
the media inediately blamed roids, fueling the idea of roid rage,
but the truth was far more complicated and far more unsettling. Yes,
Benoir's testosterone levels were elevated, but this wasn't due to
anabolic roid use. It was because he was on testosterone
(08:15):
replacement therapy TRT. As a forty year old man with
years of roid abuse behind him, his body had started
producing normal levels of testosterone, so he was prescribed TRT legally.
What many don't know is that testosterone alone doesn't typically
cause violent behavior. In fact, studies suggests it often has
a calming effect, not an aggressive one. And despite the
(08:38):
media's insistence that this was roid induced madness, Benoirre's toxicology
report found no anabolic roids in his system. However, investigators
did find human growth hormone HGH in his house, leading
to speculation that he was using it, either for recovery
or possibly to help with the long term damage restling
had done to his body. But HGH, like TRT, doesn't
(09:01):
explain the brutal nature of the murders. Then came the
real bombshell, chronic traumatic enceophilopathy CTE. Chris Nowinski, a former
WWE turned concussion researcher, was one of the first to
question the media's narrative. He pushed for Benoit's brain to
be examined, and what doctors found was horrifying. Chris Benoit's
(09:22):
brain was so severely damaged that it resembled that of
an eighty five year old Alzheimer's patient. The damage was
so extensive that doctors believe Benoir would have suffered from
severe paranoia, dementia, and uncontrollable mood swings. Despite this, WWE
tried to downplay the CTE link. They wanted to bury
the concussion issue, knowing that admitting Benoir's brain was destroyed
(09:44):
by years of unprotected chair shots and head trauma would
open them up to massive liability. But the evidence was undeniable.
Benoir's mind was broken and no one saw the warning
signs until it was too late. And up next we
have Chris Benoir's last search. One of Chris Beinoire's final
Internet searches before his death was for Elijah in the Bible,
a detail that has fueled eerie speculation. The story goes
(10:08):
that Elijah visits a widow whose son has died. Overcome
with grief, she believes his death is a punishment from God,
but Elijah takes the child, prays over him three times,
and miraculously restores his life. It is one of the
earliest Biblical accounts of resurrection. If Benoir was truly fixated
on this story, it suggests that by the end, his
(10:29):
mind had completely unraveled. It wasn't just guilt. He may
have been consumed by delusions of redemption and resurrection. This
is enforced by another chilling detail. He left Bibles next
to both Nancy and Daniel's bodies, but not one by
his own. Some believe that this was a final act
of desperation, as if he saw them as victims in
need of salvation while he accepted his own damnation. In
(10:52):
one of the bibles found in his house, Benoir had
reportedly written a note that read, I am preparing to
leave this earth and up next we have the neighbour
Holly Schrepferh. One of the more overlooked but bizarre details
in the Benoit case involves his neighbour, Holly Shrepferh and
her involvement in the discovery of the crime scene. Before
(11:12):
his death, Chris Benoir sent a text to Chavo Guerrero
saying that his dogs were in the enclosed poor area,
but when police arrived, the dogs were actually roaming free
in the garden. What makes the neighbor Holly Shrepfer's role
strange is that law enforcement asked her to secure the
dogs and sent her inside the house before securing this scene.
This was an unusual decision for a case involving multiple deaths. Normally,
(11:36):
once foul players, suspected civilians are kept out to avoid contamination.
Yet Holly was allowed to enter before officers even knew
what they were dealing with. Holly could have very well
contaminated the crime scene. Holly Schrepfer's role in the aftermath
of the Benoir tragedy is another eerie piece of an
unsettling puzzle. And up next we have Chris and Nancy's fights.
(11:58):
Chris and Nancy Benoit's relationship was far from perfect. While
it may have seemed like a love story from the outside,
behind closed doors, their marriage was marked by tension, explosive arguments,
and allegations of domestic violence. Over the years, these fights
grew in intensity, eventually leading to a tragic breaking point.
One of the earliest documented signs of trouble came in
(12:18):
two thousand and three, when Nancy filed for divorce and
requested a restraining order against Chris. In official court documents,
she accused him of emotional and physical abuse, stating that
he had been violent toward her. She also alleged that
Chris would break furniture and throw things during arguments, leaving
her and Daniel scared for their safety. Nancy withdrew the
divorce filing later that year, but the issues in their
(12:41):
marriage didn't just disappear. People closing them often said that
their fights often stemmed from Chris's cold, detached personality and
his obsessive dedication to wrestling. Chris's anger would allegedly come
out in unpredictable bursts. There were also accusations of infidelity.
Some have claimed that Nancy suspected Crispina of cheating with
Michelle McCool. In the final months of their marriage, the
(13:04):
tension between them was worse than ever, and friends noticed
that Nancy had grown distant, and some later even said
that she seemed afraid. One of their last major fights
happened just weeks before the murders. Nancy had confided in
a friend that she and Chris were arguing constantly and
she feared for a safety. She even mentioned that she
thought about leaving him for good this time. By June
(13:25):
of two thousand and seven, the fights between Chris and
Nancy had built up over the years, leaving their marriage
in a fragile, dangerous state. One that would soon reach
its tragic end. And up next we have the death
of Eddie Guerrero. When Eddie Guerrero died on November thirteen,
two thousand and five, something inside Chris Beinoir broke forever.
(13:45):
The two were more than just tag team partners. They
were best friends, brothers in the business, bound by a
shared struggle of pain, sacrifice, and the pursuit of greatness.
When Eddie was found dead in his hotel room from
heart failure, Benoir was in console. At Eddie's funeral, Benoit
wept uncontrollably, unable to hold himself together. He was known
(14:06):
for his intense, cold demeanor, but that day he shadded
and something changed in him. In the months that followed,
Benoir spiraled into grief and depression. Friends noticed that he
was never the same again, as he would break down
in tears at random moments, and at times it was
if he had completely lost himself. One of the most
unsettling details came from his diary. After Eddie's death, Benoore
(14:28):
started writing letters to him as if he were still alive.
It was clear that Benoit was lost without him. Losing
Eddie didn't just devastate him, It pushed him closer to
the edge, setting him on a part that would end
in one of restling's darkest tragedies and up next year
of Chris Benoire's paranoia. As Crispinoire's mental state deteriorated in
the months leading up to the tragedy, those closest to
(14:50):
him noticed a disturbing shift. He had become increasingly paranoid.
He began obsessing over stories of famous people whose family
members had been kidnapped. Convinced that someone was watching him
and that Daniel may be taken from him, his paranoia
became extreme. He avoided main roads, taking different roots every
day to shake off anyone who he believed was following him.
(15:11):
He stopped trusting people, even longtime friends, and rarely let
Daniel out of his sight. This fear of something happening
to his family led Benoir to take out a life
insurance policy on himself, naming his ex wife and children
as beneficiaries, a decision that infuriated Nancy. It wasn't just
the policy that upset her. Benoird also opened a Canadian
bank account in his ex wife's name without telling Nancy.
(15:34):
This discovery caused one of their biggest fights yet, and
it only added to the tension between them. Some believed
that Benoir's growing paranoia was more than just anxiety. It
was a sign of his crumbling mental state. Some also
believed that he had a good reason to be paranoid
because somebody was actually following him. And up next, we
have the Chavo Guerrero phone call. One of the more
(15:54):
mysterious and debated moments leading up to Chris Benoir's death
is a supposed phone call with Chavo Guerrero, a call
that has been a referenced in online discussions for many years.
According to internet speculation, Chavo spoke to Benoit on the Friday,
and during their conversation, Benoit heard a knock at the door.
He went to answer it, but then Chavo allegedly heard
(16:14):
a scuffle before the call was abruptly cut off. When
he tried to call back, Benoit didn't answer. Moments later,
Traval received a text from him stating that he had
been having trouble with his phone. This version of events, however,
only seems to exist in unverified online discussions. It is
said to have come from a WWE magazine interview with
Chavo Guerrero, but no one has ever been able to
(16:36):
find that interview, No archived copies exist, and WWE has
never publicly acknowledged the story. What is known for certain
is that Chavo did have a conversation with Benoit on
this Saturday, but the actual details are very different. In reality,
Benoit left a voicemail for Chavo, apologizing for missing his
flight and sounding groggy and fatigued. When Traval called him back,
(16:58):
Benoit blamed food poisoning for his absence and signed off
with an uncharacteristic I love you, something Charvo later found
deeply unsettling. And now we're moving down the iceberg into
Tier five, with our first entry on Tier five being
the Wikipedia edit mystery. On June twenty five, two thousand
(17:19):
and seven, just after midnight, an anonymous user updated Chris
Benoirre's Wikipedia page to state that he had missed a
WWE event due to the death of his wife, Nancy.
This was nearly fourteen hours before police discovered the bodies
in Benoit's home. Even more chilling, the editor was traced
back to Stamford, Connecticut, the location of WWE's headquarters. The
(17:42):
discovery of this edit made the Internet go on fire.
Many believed that it was evidence of a cover up,
or that someone close to WWE knew about the deaths
before they were officially reported, had information leaked before the
authorities even arrived, and had WWE insiders tried to control
the narrative. The situation became serious enough that the police
got involved. Investigators eventually tracked the edit down to a
(18:05):
twenty one year old college student named Matthew Greenberg, who
lived in Stamford at the time. When questioned, Greenberg insisted
that it was just a coincidence. He claimed that he
had no inside knowledge and had simply added the information
based on Internet rumors that he had heard. Greenberg was
let go after questioning and the case was dropped. WWE
denied any involvement, and the story was chalked up as
(18:27):
a bizarre coincidence. But even with an explanation, the mystery lingers.
The odds of a random Wikipedia edit predicting a murder
hours before it was officially discovered or astronomically low. Was
it truly a case of blind speculation, or was Matthew
Greenberg involved in the murder and he knew more than
he was willing to admit the Wikipedia edit remains one
(18:49):
of the strangest, most unsettling details in the Benoit case,
and a normally that still doesn't sit right with many
people to this day. An open Next, you have Stone
called Steve Austen on Cristina. On his podcast, Stone Called
Steve Austin talked about Crispin Waugh's entering work and the
tragedy that followed. He acknowledged Crispin Waugh's talent, but made
it clear that he could never look past what had happened.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
When I think about Chris Benoir, that guy was one
of the nicest guys I ever met in my life.
He's one of the most talented, hard working cats I've
ever seen in a squared circle. Crispin Waugh as the
person I knew loved him. Crispin Wi as a wrestler
loved him. Crispin Wi the person who did what he
(19:32):
did unforgivable bottom line.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
And up next we have Crispin Waugh's locker room bullying.
In these early WWE days, the misfaced significant challenges integrating
into the locker room culture. An incident that stands out
involves the Miz eating chicken in the locker room, leading
to severe repercussions. According to reports, Crispin Waugh accused the
Mis of dropping chicken crumbs onto a fellow wrestler's bag,
(19:57):
which was seen as a sign of disrespect. In response,
Benoit banned the Miz from the locker room, forcing him
to change in hallways and even public restrooms for approximately
six to seven months. This punishment persisted until the Undertaker intervened,
inviting the Mis back into the locker room and effectively
ending his exile. Justin Roberts, a former w w E
(20:18):
ring announcer, recounted distressing experiences of bullying during his tenure
from Crispinoir. In his memoir, Roberts detailed and incident where
Crispinoir tackled him in an airport applying a crippler cross
face submission hold. Despite Robert's tapping out, Benoir refused to
release him, leaving Roberts insignificant pain for days and up.
Mixture of the Undertaker foreshadows Crispinoir's death in an eerie coincidence.
(20:42):
In WWE SmackDown versus Raw two thousand and seven, a
cut scene in the game featured the Undertaker cutting a
promo that seemed to foreshadow Crispinoir's fate. What makes this
unsettling is that the game was released before Benoir's death,
and the promo's wording now feels strangely prophetic in hindsight.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
You insist on making this mistake, then your grieving family
will have no one to blame but you when the
inevitable occurs.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
And up next we have Chris Benoir appears in the
WWE Thunderdome. During WWE's Thunderdome era in twenty twenty, where
fans live video feeds were broadcasted onto virtual screens, a bizarre,
unsettling moment occurred. Chris Benoir's face appeared not once, but twice.
The first incident happened shortly after the Thunderdome concept launch.
(21:28):
A fan managed to display an image of Benir's face
on the screen, causing immediate controversy. WWE quickly cut the feed,
but the damage was done. The incidet had already captured screenshots.
A second occurrence followed not long after, with yet another
Benoir image making it onto the broadcast. After this, WWE
tightened its security, implementing stricter monitoring our fan feeds to
(21:50):
prevent further incidents. The appearances of Benoir's images in the
Thunderdome spark debates. Some saw it as a dark joke,
while others viewed it as an attempt to force w
WE to acknowledge a figure that they had erased from
history and ALBNX. We have Paul Hayman on Crispinoir during
a live interview in front of a live crowd. Paul
Hayman was discussing his career when a fan interrupted, referring
(22:12):
to Chris Benoir as my boy.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Three people died in that house that night.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Only one person had the choice behind it.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
The other two didn't have a choice to die.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
So that's your boy.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Fuck you an OBNXT. We have David Benoit in a
candid interview with Chris Van Vliet. David Benoit, the eldest
son of Chris Benoir, shared personal insights into his father's
life and the tragic events of June two thousand and seven.
This conversation marked David's first on camera interview where he
addressed topics that had remained unspoken for years. David spoke
(22:50):
warmly of his father, recording cherish memories that highlighted Chris
Benoire's dedication both as a wrestler and a parent. He
described moments that showcased his father's softer side, contrasting the
intense persona fans saw in the ring. David addressed the
harrying events that led to the loss of his father,
stepmother Nancy, and half brother Daniel. Inspired by his father's legacy,
(23:11):
David also revealed his aspirations to enter the wrestling world.
He mentioned undergoing training and even considered performing under the
ring name Chris Beinwire Junior. However, he acknowledged the complexities
and sensitivities surrounding the Benoit name in the restling industry.
When asked about the possibility of his father being inducted
into the WWE Hall of Fame, David expressed his belief
(23:32):
that Crispinoir deserves recognition for his contributions to wrestling and
up next, we have the TLC twenty thirteen editing mistake.
Since two thousand and seven, WWE has made every effort
to erase Crispinoire from history. His matches are either removed,
heavily edited, or strategically cropped to avoid showing his face.
His name is never mentioned. His accomplishments are ignored, and
(23:55):
any footage of him is treated like a forbidden relic.
But in twenty thirteen, WWE slipped up and for a
brief moment, Benoir's passed resurfaced. For TLC twenty thirteen, a
promotional package aired highlighting Randy Orton's rise to becoming the
youngest world heavyweight champion at Summer Slam two thousand and four. Normally,
any clip of Randy Orton's victory over Benoit would have
(24:18):
been edited to cut out Benoit completely, but this time
something changed. For the first time in years, WWE actually
showed Orton pinning Benoir. It was a blink and your
miss it sort of moment, but fans immediately noticed this
wasn't a brief glimpse of his arm or cropped out
shot of the crowd. This was clear, undeniable footage of
Crispin Wir being defeated in the ring. Many fans were
(24:41):
very surprised at this slipped through the cracks, but whatever
the reason for this slipping through the cracks, WWE quickly
realized their mistake and the next time the clip aired,
Benoit was erased once again, and up next we have
William Regal's on selling tribute. When WWE aired his tribute
show for Crispin Wir June twenty five, two thousand and seven,
(25:02):
before the horrific truth had finally surfaced, most wrestlers delivered
emotional tributes, reminiscing about Benoit's entering, skill and friendship. But
one tribute stood out, that of William Regal. While others
spoke warmly and nostalgically about Cris beIN Warrigal's demeanor was
noticeably different. He looked tense, distant, almost as if he
(25:22):
was choosing his words carefully. Unlike his colleagues, he didn't
call Benoir a great man or father, nor did he
share personal stories. Instead, he simply said, now, all I'm
willing to say is that Chris Benoit was undoubtedly the
hardest working man in professional wrestling, and that's all I've
really got to say. At the moment, the tone and
delivery felt off. At the time, many of you us
(25:45):
didn't think much of it, but when the real details
of the case Emergedrigal's reaction took on a whole new meaning.
Why was he so reserved compared to others and why
did he seem to be holding back. This led to
wild speculation, some even suggesting that Regal knew something before
the full story came out. Adding to this, Rego lived
(26:05):
in the same Atlanta area as Benoir, making some wonder
if he had heard rumors or disturbing signs before the
news broke. Others took it further with theories implying that
Regal was involved in some way. And now we're moving
down the iceberg into Tier four, with our first entry
on tier four being Bill Aptor believes it was a
(26:27):
professional hit. Bill Apter, a respected arresting journalist, made headlines
when he appeared on Chris Jericho's podcast and shared a
controversial opinion. He doesn't believe Chris Benoit committed the murders. Instead,
he suggested that Benoit and his family were victims of
a professional hit.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
I think somehow Chris got in some sort of trouble.
I don't know what it was. I don't know what
it was after or whatever, but I think something happened.
I think when he got home, Nancy and his son
were already dead. And I understand that some wives kill
each other sometimes they do, but not the boy. This
(27:06):
is what didn't make sense to me.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
To me, if a hit, a murder is done in
a professional way, they can make it look like you
did it and you committed to a side as well.
To this day, the Chris Benoir I know couldn't have
done that.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
And up next we have Chris beIN Waugh removed from
SmackDown Versus Raw two thousand and eight. During the development
of SmackDown Versus Raw two thousand and eight, Chris ben
Waugh was originally planned as a playable character, but following
the horrific events of June of two thousand and seven,
he was swiftly removed from the game. While ben Waugh
was erased from the official roster, his character data remained
(27:46):
buried within the game's code, a lingering remnant of what
could have been. There's long been speculation that ben wa
was meant to be one of the game's cover stars.
This theory makes sense. SmackDown Versus Row was designed to
highlight EAC and Benoit was scheduled to win the e
c W Championship the very weekend when tragedy shruck with
Benoit's removal, Bobby Lashley took his place as ECW's representative
(28:11):
on the cover despite having significantly less star power than
Benoit at the time. Had things played out differently, Benoit
could have been on the front cover that was distributed
to millions of people. This is a chilling thought considering
what would soon unfold. And up next, we have the
Cherry Martell connection to Chris Benoir. On June fifteen, two
(28:31):
thousand and seven, Cherry Martell was found unresponsive at a
mother's home in Alabama. The cause an accidental overdose with
multiple drugs, including oxy codone, in her system. For Nancy Benoit,
this loss was devastating. Cherry wasn't just a colleague, she
was a close friend, someone who had walked the same
path in the resting world. Already struggling with a crumbling marriage,
(28:53):
Cherry's death only added to their emotional weight Nancy was carrying.
One week later, Nancy and his son Daniel were dead.
What seemed like two unrelated tragedies took on a darker
meaning when reports surfaced linking Sherry Martel and Chris beIN
Nooir to the same doctor. Doctor phil Aston Aston was
Cris Binoir's personal physician, supplying him with testosterone, painkillers and
(29:15):
other prescription drugs. After the Benoir tragedy, he was investigated
for recklessly over prescribing medication, with authorities linking him to
three patient deaths, Crispinoir, Johnny Grunge and E c W
wrestler who died in two thousand and six, and a
third undisclosed name reported to be Sherry Martel by Dave
malzav The Resting Observer and newsletter. Aston was later sentenced
(29:38):
to ten years in prison, but by then the damage
was done and up next we have the self punishment
of Chris Benoit and New Japan Pro Wrestling. In the
Dark Side of the Ring episode covering Chris Benoir, Chris
Jeriko recalled a moment from their days in New Japan
Pro Wrestling that stuck with him for years, a moment that,
in hindsight, made him question Benoit's mental state. During a
(30:00):
match between the two, Benoir botched a small, insignificant spot.
This mistake was so minor that the crowd didn't even
notice and the match went on as if nothing happened,
but for Benoit it was unforgivable. After the match, Jericho
went backstage looking for him, only to find Benoit punishing
himself alone in the locker room, Benoit was doing five
hundred squads as self inflicted punishment for the mistake. To Jericho,
(30:24):
this was deeply unsettling. Benoir's dedication to perfection was one thing,
but his need to punish himself for something so insignificant
was another. It wasn't just discipline, it was obsessive, almost
psychotic behavior. Looking back, Jericho believes that moments like this
were early warning signs that something wasn't right with Benoit.
His intensity, his willingness to push himself beyond normal human limits,
(30:47):
and he self inflicted suffering painted the picture of a
man who was wie differently, a man who would eventually
spiral into unimaginable darkness. An upnextraut of Chris Benoir's foreshadowing promo.
In what is now considered one of the most unsettling
promos of his career, Crispinoir once stood backstage, his face
covered in blood, his expression cold and intense. Looking straight
(31:08):
into the camera, he delivered a line that, in retrospect
feels deeply disturbing. He said this, my wife and children
will not be watching roll because I am going to
do something that is unthinkable. I will leave you with
my anger sleep Well. At the time, the promo was
meant to be just another intense, rage felt moment from
one of wrestling's most serious competitors. But after the horrific
(31:31):
events of two thousand and seven, these words took on
a far deeper meaning hearing those words now knowing what
was to come since chills down the spine? Was this
just a scripted promo or an eerie glimpse into the
anger and torment that was already consuming Benoit's mind? And
up next, we have Our Lady Piece retires whatever Crispinoir's
(31:51):
WWE entrance theme Whatever by Our Lady Piece became one
of the most recognizable songs of its time, but following
the horrific events June of two thousand and seven, the
band made a conscious decision to retire the song forever.
In an interview with The Huffington Post, frontman Rain Mida
and guitarist Steve Mazour admitted that they couldn't bring themselves
(32:12):
to play the song anymore. Massoua explained that the tragedy
was too deeply tied to the track, saying I couldn't
imagine singing that, to be honest, it's so tied to
him and the tragedy that happened. I just couldn't get
it out of my head. Mido also added that they
removed the song from their catalog and he thinks that
it sucks that they no longer play it since it's
such a kick ass song. Even though the song was
(32:35):
originally just a licensed track for WWE, its association with
Benoirre's dark legacy in sued it will never be performed again.
Hi there, So it's me from the future and it
turns out that our Lady Peace performed whatever for the
first time in almost twenty years at their concerts in Canada,
just a day or two before the releasing of this video.
So I guess they finally got to perform this kick
(32:57):
ass song one more time. And I'm next. We have
The Untold History of WWE. In two thousand and nine,
WWE released a special edition magazine titled The Untold History
of WWE, and it was an in depth look into
the company's past, featuring Vince McMahon himself addressing controversial topics.
Among the discussions was the issue of Chris benoir a
(33:18):
subject WWE had gone to great lengths to erase from
public consciousness. In a rare moment of direct acknowledgment, McMahon
explained WWE's official stance, stating that while Benoir could be
mentioned in a purely historical context, promoting him in any
way was out of the question. To emphasize his point,
McMahon compared Benoirs situation to that of O. J. Simpson.
(33:41):
Despite the controversy surrounding Simpson, his role in NFL history
was undeniable. Similarly, while WWE would never glorify Benoir, they
couldn't completely erase him from history. And up next, we
have Crispinoir's last voicemail. At one fifty seven p m.
On Saturday, June twenty three, two thousand seven, ben Wall
made a call to Michael Parker, a friend and business associates.
(34:04):
According to police reports, ben Wall left the voicemail after
already murdering his wife and son. In the message, he
shows no signs of distress or remorse for what had
already happened in his home. The tone of the message
is eerily calm, as if nothing was out of the ordinary. However,
Benoir is slurring his words.
Speaker 7 (34:22):
But darker this has been while I can spoke five
to two nass men saw Bosuly Man finally han't heard
that I was still gonna want collection. Cruse truviays on
the play home into Atlantis. He he kind of got
shifted over and that really sucks. But you know, if
(34:44):
there's anything I can do at ah, man, please give
me calm, let me know and you know, and you know,
nothing expert, nothing changed experience, like nothing should be better
in experiencing me at that. It's like, uh, you know,
(35:05):
I'm just talking about what I'm talking to you right now.
I don't know what the details are are on the
top of my head, but I does well with you, man,
and I just missed you the last couple of weeks.
Upon a point of that, I hope him here in
a while. Uh, if you can't want to eat, a
chance to McCall take care. Man does well right.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
The timing of the call raises disturbing questions. If Ben
Wide already taken the lives of his wife and child,
why was he making a casual phone call about work matters.
Was he trying to maintain normalcy. Was his mind already
detached from reality. Whatever the case, this voicemail remains one
of the final recorded pieces of in one's voice, a
chilling remnant from the hours leading up to his own death,
(35:47):
and now moving down the iceberg into Tier three, with
our first entry on Tier three being Vince McMahon is
the father of Daniel Benoir theory. In a highly controversial interview,
former professional wrestler Billy Jack Haynes put forth a shocking
theory regarding the tragic events involving Chris Benoir and his family.
(36:11):
Haines alleged that Vince McMahon, the chairman of w WE,
was the biological father of Benoir's son Daniel. According to Haines,
upon learning this information from his wife Nancy, Chris Benoit
was driven into a violent age, needing Chris to take
the lives of Nancy, Daniel, and himself.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Vince McMahon was sucking his wife. They had an argument.
She said she was sucking Vince and that kid is
not yours, it's Vince McMahon's kid. And he went over
the edge and lost it because she would not kill
that kid for nothing. So you murdered him, Vince for
a yourfucker, And he found out about it, and he
went nuts in his own way and did his own thing.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Billy Jack Haynes has sent many ludicrous things, and this
theory appears to have been dreamed up out of thin
air in Haines's mind because Daniel Benoir looked exactly like father.
What makes Billy Jack Haynes claims even more crazy is
the fact that he murdered his very own wife in
twenty twenty four and is now on trial and it
looks like he will likely die in prison. And up next,
(37:12):
we have the WWE two K fifteen Crispin Wir ban.
When WWE two K fifteen was released, players who attempted
to recreate Crispin ware in community creations were met with
an unexpected consequence. Their accounts were banned. The controversy first
surface when a Twitter user questioned why their account had
been suspended. The response from two k's community manager was blunt.
(37:35):
They had uploaded a Crispin wir creation, violating wwe' strict
policy on erasing him from WWE history, and since two
K fifteen was an officially licensed WWE product, had had
to comply with the company's ongoing effort to ensure Benoir's name, likeness,
and legacy never appeared in their games ever. Again, this
zero tolerance approach didn't last forever, though, as in later
(37:57):
WWE games, the policy quickly shifted. Instead of banning players outright,
two K simply began removing any Benoir related content from
community creations. The punishment wasn't as harsh, but the message
was still clear. Crispin Wir was a name that w
w E wanted buried, erased and forgotten. And up next
you have cm Punk on Crispin Noir at Comic Con
(38:18):
two thousand twelve. W w's presence at comic Con has
always given fans the chance to ask their favorite superstars
any question they want, but sometimes those questions go in
directions w w E would rather avoid. This is exactly
what happened during a w w E panel at Comic
Con two thousand and twelve, where a fan boldly asked
c M Punk, Shameless and Zach Ryder if w w
(38:40):
E was actively trying to erase Crisp beIN Noir from history.
The question was met with an awkward silence as the
panel seemed unsure of how to respond. Breaking the tension,
c M Punk took the lead, carefully addressing the situation.
Speaker 8 (38:54):
No one one I tried to erase Chrispani from the
history as well. Player due to the obvious horrific nature
of what he did, is not right to promote him.
You know, he's in the history books nothing, it's nothing.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
We're ashamed of his past complishments.
Speaker 7 (39:15):
And stuff like that.
Speaker 9 (39:16):
But to.
Speaker 8 (39:18):
From here, from here on on, to further promote him
and due to what he did, that doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
And up next we have WWE Encyclopedia. Despite WWE's strict
efforts to erase Chris Binoi from history, an unexpected entry
in the twenty twelve WWE Encyclopedia caught fans and industry
insiders by surprise. The official WWE published book, meant to
serve as a comprehensive guide to the company's history, included
a detailed write up of Benoir's career, something that directly
(39:49):
contradicted wwe' stance on never mentioning him again. The entry
highlighted Benoir's accomplishments, covering his time in WCW, his rise
through WWE, and his wrestle may in twenty world title victory.
Though it was written in a cold, past tense manner,
there was no reference to the two thousand and seven tragedy,
no references to his personal life, and no acknowledgment of
(40:10):
why WWE had otherwise erased him from history. At the time,
Dave Malter reported that Benoit's inclusion in the book raised
eyebrows backstage in WWE, with some questioning why they dedicated
a space to him while continuing to remove him from
everything else. And up next, you have Bob Holly's last
conversation with Chris Benoir. On the morning of June twenty two,
(40:31):
two thousand and seven, Chris Benoit called his longtime friend
Bob Holly, asking him to come over to his house. Holly,
who was in Atlanta rehabbing an injury, declined the invitation,
suggesting that Benoir spend his time with Nancy and Daniel instead.
Just hours later, Nancy Benoir was dead. Bob odly reflected
on the call, wondering if things would have been different
(40:52):
if he had accepted the invitation.
Speaker 10 (40:54):
I talked to Chris that day at eleven thirty left
the doctor's office and he called me because I was supposed.
Speaker 11 (41:00):
To go see him and I didn't go, and he
called me and he asked me, He said, why you
didn't you come over I'm like, well, I knew you
just got home, you know, and I figured you want
to spend some time with Nancy. Blah blah blah. No, no,
you know, I'm waiting for you to call me. You know,
we were gonna go we get something to.
Speaker 10 (41:18):
Eat and blah blah blah all that, and it's like, Okay, well,
next time I'll come over Chris, And maybe they wouldn't
have gotten a fight that day, or you know, if
I'd have went went there and hung out with him,
and you know, I don't know, you know, And and
it bothered.
Speaker 11 (41:32):
Me for a little while that you know, yet I
should have went and song, because then maybe it wouldn't
have happened.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
And I'm next to you have Dave Taylor at the
Benoah Home. Of all the strange and unexplored details surrounding
the ben Wah tragedy, one of the most peculiar is
the reports at sighting I'll Form a WWE wrestler Dave
Taylor outside the Benoa residents just after police arrived. After
authorities reached the home, Bena's neighbor Holly was sent inside first. Inside,
(41:58):
she discovered the buddies and sharks. She fled the house,
and in her report to the police. As she ran outside,
she saw something even stranger. She saw Dave Taylor and
his wife Lisa walking toward the house carrying a platter
of deli food. Taylor's appearance at the scene raised questions
that have never been fully answered. Benoir had missed events
(42:18):
that weekend, and WWE had been told his family were sick.
Perhaps Taylor had somehow found out and was simply checking
in bringing food to a friend, but others believe his
presence was not a coincidence. Conspiracy theorists have proposed a
more cynical theory that Taylor may have been sent by
WWE to gather early intel before the news went public,
and other conspiracy theorists have theorized that Dave Taylor was
(42:41):
in fact involved in the murder in some way. Was
Dave Taylor's visit in the eerie coincidence or was there
more to it? No evidence ever linked them to anything
beyond a well intended visit, yet his unexpected presence that
day remains one of the many lingering mysteries in the
Benoir case. And now moving down the iceberg into Tier two,
(43:05):
with our first entry on Tier two being the Chavo
Guerrero was involved theory. While most accounts of the Benoir
tragedy placed Chavo Guerrero as a concerned friend and a
recipient of Chris Benoit's last messages, Irvin Muchnik's book Chris
and Nancy raises unsettling questions about Chavo's exact role in
the timeline of events. One of the most controversial points
(43:28):
Muchnik brings up is Chalvo's connection to Matthew Greenberg, the
mysterious Wikipedia editor who somehow updated Benoit's page with news
of Nancy's death fourteen hours before the police discovered the bodies.
Irvin Muchnik wasn't convinced of Matthew Greenberg's innocence. One main
things even stranger was that Greenberg had previously edited Chavo
Guerrero's Wikipedia page. This raised a question did Chavo Guerrero
(43:53):
know Greenberg personally or was this just a coincidence? And
if they were connected, did Chavo tip off Greenboerk about
what was happening before the authorities even arrived. Muchnik also
dissects Charveo's retelling of events, pointing out inconsistencies in his
timeline of when he received Benoit's final text messages. In
different accounts, Chavell gave conflicting times for when he read
(44:16):
the messages, needing much nick to speculate that he may
have known more than he led on. And also, why
would Chris send Chavo a text message of his address
if Chavel already knew where he lived, considering that Chavel
was at Chris's house the previous weekend. Of course, there's
no hard evidence that Charveo had any involvement to the tragedy,
but the strange link between him and Greenberg and the
(44:37):
unclear timing of the messages remained one of the most
bizarre loose ends in the Benoit case. And up next
we have Finn Bala as the Pegasus Kid. Before he
was known as one of the most intense wrestlers in
resting history, Chris Benoir wrestled under a mask in New
Japan Pro Wrestling as the Pegasus Kid. Adopting this persona
in nineteen eighty nine, Benoir wore a distinctive blue and
(44:59):
silver engaging in classic battles with Japanese legends. Eventually, he
unmasked and continued restling as the Wild Pegasus, but the
Pegasus Kid gimmick remained forever tied to him. Nearly two
decades later, in two thousand and six, a new Pegasus
Kid emerged. This time it was Finn Bala, then wrestling
as Prince Devitt. However, Bala quickly abandoned the persona and
(45:22):
it was never seen again. And up next we have
cris Binoi almost leaves WWE for TNA. In late two
thousand and five, Dave Malta reported that Crispin WA's WWE
contract was nearing its expiration, negotiations for a new deal
or weren't going smoothly. WWE's offer was reportedly lower than expected,
and with both sides far apart on financial terms, there
(45:44):
was a real chance that Benoit could have walked away
from the company with increasing pressure from Nancy. Benoit also
had plans to quit wrestling and start a wrestling school.
Benwar even reportedly made merchandise to promote the new wrestling
school that he was planning on launching. Benoit was also
reported listening to interest from TNA as well. At the time,
TNA Wrestling was aggressively signing x WWE stars, looking to
(46:07):
establish itself as a legitimate alternative. Given Benoir's reputation as
a workhorse and a technical master, he would have fit
perfectly in the TNA main event scene. He also would
have had a much lighter schedule, something that might have
spared him from further physical and mental deterioration. But just
weeks before his contract officially expired, tragedy struck. Eddie Guerrero
(46:29):
died on November thirteen, two thousand and five, the last
devastated Benoir. It remains unclear if Eddie's passing influenced Benoir's
decision to stay in WWE, but ultimately he never left
and he re signed, continued to work WWE's grueling schedule
and continuing to stay on the path that would lead
to one of wrestling's dark as tragedies. Many still wonder, though,
(46:51):
if Benoir had gone to TNA, would things have ended
up differently With a lighter schedule, new environment, and different
influences changed the course of his life. It's a question
that will never have an answer, but still lingers as
one of restling's greatest what ifs, and up next to
a former tag mate dies on the same day. Biff
Wellington was a Canadian professional wrestler who, like Chris Benoit,
(47:14):
trained in the legendary Heart Family Dungeon and competed in
stampede wrestling. Wellington and Benoit even teamed up early in
their careers, forming a duo that gained recognition in Japan
and Canada. What makes Biff Wellington's story so eerie is
the timing of his death. He passed away on June
twenty four, two thousand and seven, the exact same day
(47:35):
that Benoit took his own life after murdering Nancy and
Daniel Benoit. The cause of Wellington's death was later ruled
to be a heart attack brought on by years of
wrestling injuries and potential substance abuse. However, the fact that
two former tag team partners who trained together at the
same legendary wrestling school died exactly on the same day
in entirely different circumstances has led to much speculation and
(47:59):
wild conspiracy theories. Some speculate that Wellington's death was more
than a coincidence, that perhaps he knew something about Benoit,
or that they shit passed somehow connected them and death.
Of course, there is no actual evidence linking their deaths,
but the strange timing has made it one of the
many unsettling coincidences tied to the Crispin Waugh case. And
(48:20):
up next we have John Cena on Crispin Waugh. At
a Q and A session in Melbourne on June eighth,
twenty seventeen, John Cena was asked the question that WWE
has spent years avoiding. Why has Crispin Waugh been erased
from history? Sina never want to shy away from tough questions,
gave his answer.
Speaker 9 (48:38):
Oftentimes we get caught up in a person's ability and
their performance, and this transcendce WWE. This is a problem
with sport. It is also a problem with the enter table.
People will do bad things, but if they are good
at what we do what they do, sometimes those things
(48:58):
are overlooked. I don't believe in that. I believe you
should take ownership for your actions, all of them, not
just ones that are performing from an audience. I think
our company's stance in the entire situation, it's set a
president for athletics at a precedent for attainment. I'm taking
ownership for your actions.
Speaker 1 (49:18):
And up next we have Chris beIN Waugh's father's skepticism
in the oftenmak of the tragic events of June of
two thousand and seven. Michael Benoit, Crispin Waugh's father, expressed
skepticism about the circumstances surrounding the deaths. He found it
difficult to reconcile the image of his son with the
actions described in the reports. One particular detail that raised
doubt was the manner in which Nancy was restrained. The
(49:41):
method of binding appeared to be executed in a professional
and thorough manner, leading Michael Beinha to question whether his
son was solely responsible for it if other factors were
at play. These uncertainties have fueled various theories and discussions,
with some suggesting the possibility of external involvement. While the
official investigation can cclude that Chris bin Wa was responsible
(50:01):
for the deaths, the doubts raised by his father and
others continued to prompt further examination and debate over the
true nature of the tragedy. And now we're at the
bottom of the iceberg tier I, with our first entry
on tier I being the mk Ultra theory. One of
(50:22):
the most bizarre out there theories about the Benoit case
suggests that Chris beIN Wi was not acting of his
free will when he committed the horrific murders of his
wife Nancy and his son Daniel. Instead, according to this theory,
he was a mind control sleeper agent, a product of
mk Ultra programming. Now, for those unfamiliar, mk Ultra was
(50:43):
a real life, top secret CIA mind control program that
ran from the nineteen fifties to the nineteen seventies. The
goal of mk Ultra was to experiment with ways to
control the human mind through hypnosis at a ste sensory deprivation,
psychological torture, and other disturbing methods. Declassified government documents confirmed
(51:04):
that the CIA attempted to break people psychologically to turn
them into obedient programmable assets, essentially human weapons that could
carry out orders without remembering them. The program was supposedly
shut down in the nineteen seventies, but conspiracy theorists argue
that it never truly ended and it just went underground.
At first glance, it sounds like something straight out of
(51:25):
a movie, but those who pushed the mk Ultra benoit
theory point to several eerie connections. One of them is
Benoir's bizarre behavior leading up to the murders, as he
displayed paranoia and erratic mood swings. Some people believed that
this was evidence of programming, and also Benoir felt like
he was being followed, and according to this theory, Benoir
(51:47):
was actually being followed by supposedly a hand love sorts.
Another eerie connection is the methodical nature of the crime.
Some believe that this was far too clean for a
man in emotional breakdown, mean seem chillingly calculated. Did Benoir
do this out of rage or was it something more mechanical.
Another eerie connection is the prevalence of MK altra celebrities
(52:10):
within the entertainment industry, including Hollywood music and even pro wrestling.
The idea is that some celebrities and athletes are broken
individuals and have a large following, so they can be
easily programmed and used for hidden agendas. This theory does
not claim that Benoit was innocent. It suggests that he
did commit the murders, but not of his own free will.
(52:31):
If that's the case, the biggest question remains who would
want Chris to carry out this horrific act. Some believe
it was a test of psychological control. Others think he
knew far too much about something bigger and some suggest
that he was simply chosen as a subject for reasons unknown.
And up next we have the nine one one calls.
The call came on June twenty five, two thousand and seven,
(52:52):
a call that would unravel one of wrestling's darkest tragedies.
On the line was Dennis Fagan, a retired NYPD detective
and wwees head of security. There, of course was simple
a welfare check, but the details something was wrong.
Speaker 4 (53:08):
Hi, I just spoke to one of the other officers there.
My name is Dennis Feig, and I'm retired detective in
New York City. I run the security for World Wrestling
and one of our wrestlers that lives down there is missing.
And he told me to just to say, we need
a welfare check done. Okay, what's the address? One Green
Metal Lane? All right? Didn't Social wrestling? Fagan? Fag a
(53:31):
n And what's his name, Chris Benoit it's spelled b
e nt okay, And he's a wrestler, Yes, he's what happened.
He's her a religious gentleman, and yesterday he was supposed
to show up at a pay per view and never
got on the plane, never showed up. They tried to
reach his wife, Nancy. She doesn't answer. They tried to
(53:51):
call his house. It's done. It's had a character for him.
So at three o'clock this morning, there was a message
left for one of the other wrestlers, and basically it
says the door during the backyard, the back doors opened, goodbye, and.
Speaker 6 (54:04):
That was it.
Speaker 1 (54:05):
And up next we have the Crispin Wi House curse.
There's something deeply unsettling about a home where so much
horror unfolded, a place once filled with the family's laughed
and life, now forever overshadowed by the darkness of what
happened inside its walls. Crispin WA's house at one thirty
Green Meadow Lane in Fireville, Georgia, was once nearly worth
nine hundred thousand dollars, a reflection of Crispin WA's success
(54:28):
and status, But after the tragedy of June two thousand
and seven, it became something else, entirely a property that
no one wanted to touch, a house with a history
people wanted to forget. For two years, the house sat untouched,
a silent monument to the horrifying events that had taken
place inside. Then in two thousand and nine, the house
sold for a mere two hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars,
(54:50):
a fraction of its original value. The buyer an anonymous owner,
someone who took possession of the house but seemingly didn't
want attention drawn to it. Despite dark past, the house
was never torn down. To this day, people still live there,
trying to move on from its infamous reputation. The house
continues to attract unexpected visitors, curious onlookers who want to
(55:12):
stand outside the gates and see it for themselves. The
new owners have enforced a strict rule. No one is
allowed past the gates, and pictures are only permitted from
a distance, But those who visit the area describe something strange.
Not ghosts or flickering lights, but something heavier, more real,
a thick, intense aura, an unshakable feeling that something isn't
(55:33):
right within the air. And up next, we have the
missed calls for help. On Friday June twenty two, two
thousand and seven, someone inside the Benoir home tried to
reach out for help, a last desperate attempt to escape
the nightmare that was unfolding. At nine twenty five p m.
Police reports say that a call was placed from the
Benoit home phone to four one one, an information service
(55:55):
used to request contact numbers. The request the fired for
police department, but instead of an emergency line, an obsolete
non emergency number was given and it was never dialed.
Who made this call? Was it a scared Nancy frantically
trying to get through to someone before it was too late.
Or was it Daniel, a terrified seven year old boy
(56:18):
witnessing the unthinkable, trying to reach out for help the
only way he knew how. Or was it Chris because
outsiders were in his home, threatening the safety of himself
and his family. Whoever it was, they were trying to
save themselves. Just seven minutes later, at nine thirty two pm,
another call was made, this time to their next door neighbor,
(56:38):
Holly cell phone, but there was no answer. A minute later,
another call, but still no answer. No voice messages were left,
and no calls were returned. Had only picked up, had
the police number been correct, had a single call been
answered that night, this story could have ended very differently.
On Saturday the twenty third, after Nancy and Daniel were dead,
(57:01):
Chris bin Wir left Holly a voicemail telling her that
Daniel was too sick to attend his horse camp, an
odd excuse considering the camp only ran on weekdays, something
Nancy would have known. At three oh one pm, Holly
called back and they spoke for nine minutes. Chris seemed
ierly calm, explaining that Nancy and Daniel had food poisoning.
(57:21):
He sounded like a man keeping a story straight, ensuring
that no one would check in on them. Holly wouldn't
realize it until much later, but this call wasn't just
small talk. It was an attempt to isolate Nancy even further,
to keep Holly from calling, from stopping by from when
covering the horror inside that house. And now we're at
the bottom of the iceberg, with our lost entry being
(57:45):
the Vince McMahon sacrificed cris beIN Noir theory. The theory
goes that Crispin Wir was not just a troubled wrestler
who snapped, He was a chosen sacrifice. Vince McMahon, as
a high ranking freemason, orchestrated his death by sending a
professor hit on Crispin Noir and his family as an
offering to the dark forces, ensuring the future success for
(58:06):
WWE as a transition into its PG era. But before
we go deeper, we need to answer a question that's
at the heart of this theory. What is freemasonry and
wise link to occult rituals. Freemasonry is a secretive, fraternal
organization that traces its origins back centuries, with deep connections
to ritualistic ceremonies, numerology, and power structures across the world.
(58:29):
Many conspiracy theorists believe that Freemasons hold influence over politics, information, entertainment,
and global events, pulling strings behind the scenes. One of
the core beliefs in freemasonry is ritual sacrifice. Some believe
that high ranking Freemasons, especially those in the entertainment industry,
must sacrifice a life to ensure their own prosperity. Vince
(58:50):
McMahon has long been rumoured to be a Freemason, a
theory fueled by his unchecked power in the resting business,
his strange rituals in WWE storylines, and the timing of
key deaths that benefit company. One of these key deaths
that theists point to is owen Hart. As a few
months after owen Hart died, WWE went public. Theorists believed
that owen Hart was sacrificed by Vince McMahon in order
(59:12):
to ensure the success of WWE when they went public.
This theory suggests that this time Vince McMahon sacrificed Chris
Benoir to usher in the PG era, because as soon
as Benoit died, WWE ditched the blood and guts product
that they were known for and adopted a more family
friendly PG product. Some believe that this was no coincidence.
(59:33):
Nancy and Daniel were found with a Bible placed next
to them, a seemingly religious gesture, but some believe that
this has deeper meaning. Conspiracy theorists argue that placing the
Bibles next to each body was not a sign of remorse,
but a symbolic offering. Conspiracy theorists say that there is
a lot of numerology and occult symbolism in Benoir's death.
To understand why theorists believe Benoir's death was a Masonic sacrifice,
(59:57):
we need to look at the numerology and hidden patterns
used as evidence. The name Christopher Benoit has numerological values
that match key Masonic numbers. The number two hundred ninety
appears multiple times in Benoit's life and death, and it
matches significant Free Mason events. Benoir died exactly two hundred
ninety years after the founding of the Premiere Grand Lodge
(01:00:18):
of England, the very birth of modern Freemasonry. Another piece
of evidence is the eclipse sacrificed theory. This theory suggests
that Benoit was not just murdered, he was richly sacrificed
during a significant astrological period. Benoit's death happened sixty four
weeks and four days after a major solar eclipse, a
timing that conspiracy theorists claim aligns with other occult sacrifices
(01:00:41):
in history. Eclipses are often linked to major Masonic rituals,
representing rebirth through destruction. And then there's the connection to
Eddie Guerrero's death. Eddie Guerrero died exactly eighty four weeks
before Benoit, a number that holds deep occult meaning. Is
this just a coincidence or was Benoir showed as an
offering his life taken to ensure McMahon's empire would continue
(01:01:04):
to thrive. Of course, there is no hard evidence that
McMahon was ever involved, but for those who believe in
the darker forces behind the resting industry. Benoir's death wasn't
just another tragedy. It was a ritual, a sacrifice, a debt,
pain and blood. Thank you for watching this video. If
