Within us there is always a dialog taking place, whether consciously or unconsciously. Our internal dialog is how we communicate with self at the deepest level, and it takes many different forms. Self-talk, hearing voices, hearing words, singing a song, or being in a dream state, thoughts, deep feelings, and pictorial impressions. This internal tug of war can be a compilation of all the above and more. More often than not, there is a tug of war going on within as you make a decision as to what you should do, what you should say, what you should think, and or what you should feel. Or rehashing events that can be put into the internal dialog of, if I wouldha, shouldha, couldha.
The internal tug of war defines what you choose to do, how you show up in life, and the way life shows up or manifests for you. How do you win a tug of war with self?
