Spider-Man: Brand New Day is getting tantalizingly close to production ahead of its planned release date of July 31, 2026. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton will helm the upcoming sequel, replacing Jon Watts, who worked on all three of the previous Spider-Man films. Brand New Day is set to kick off Tom Holland's second trilogy of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, opening a new chapter for his iteration of Peter Parker after the landmark events of No Way Home.Though Holland's fourth Spider-Man film is still early in its development, rumors are already spreading about what audiences should expect and who may appear therein. The latest reports for Spider-Man: Brand New Day suggest that the film will feature a packed cast, including at least three major villains from the comics. While fans may shudder at the idea of Brand New Day being an overstuffed mess like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or Spider-Man 3, I think there is a common denominator between these characters that hints at the upcoming film's intriguing story.Anyone who has been paying attention to the recent rumors and reports about Spider-Man: Brand New Day knows that the film is expected to include an overabundance of Spider-Man villains. While there has been no official confirmation of which antagonists will appear in the movie, various insiders have reported that characters like Scorpion, Tombstone, Mister Negative, Black Cat, and Tarantula could all show up to battle Spider-Man in his next cinematic outing. For many Spider-Man fans, these rumors could evoke bad memories of past franchises. Both the Sam Raimi Trilogy and Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man made a similar mistake in their final films, including far too many characters (particularly villains) for a movie. Spider-Man 3 featured a trio of villains, including Venom, New Goblin, and Sandman.

Masters of the Universe Gets Rebooted
Along with Galitzine as He-Man, the movie also stars Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena Glenn, and Sasheer Zamata as Suzie. Travis Knight is directing with a screenplay by Chris Butler.

Return to Arlen With the King of the Hill Revival

Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane."The synopsis of the reboot has shared more details about what's been happening with the Hill family since fans last saw them in the original show. Surprisingly, Hank had taken up a job in Saudia Arabia, taking him away from Arlen for many years before his eventual return to his old home. Meanwhile, B

(00:22):
Spider Man. I got kind of got the plot. What's happening.
Fans are gonna love some of this stuff, and actually
it might destroy it. And I'll tell you why. There's
some rumored stuff that I got that may be true.
He Man on My Mouse, the Universe Why and King
of the Hill Revival, Back of the News again, How
to Train Your Dragon? And on the show we've got

(00:44):
Blaine Weaver. He is the voice of Peter Panto and
a lot of other stuff. Got to sit down with him.
Well at a comic con. It's pretty cool. But let's
start the show real fast, and they're coming right back.
I want to start with Spider Man because I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
About where once a year sci fi buffs take their
lip off the barrel of a loaded gun and spend
half a day adjusting their eyes to sunline.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Don't to see a comic book with pregnant imbi nuns.
He's psychotics nerds.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
What a bunch of freaking nerds.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
So everybody's looking forward to this new trilogy or the
third one of installment? Is it actually a third yes,
because there was a homecoming far away from Home now
Brand New Day. But he was in so many other
movies and I'm talking about Tom Holland playing that. Now.
The release date for Spider Man Brand New Day close,
it's head of production. This What's cool? July thirty first,

(01:31):
twenty twenty six. Uh and the shang Chi director of
Legend ten Rings, Drake Dustin, Daniel Creton will Helm the
upcoming sequel, replacing John Wats, who worked in all three
previous Spider Man films. Brand New Day is set to
kick off Tom Holland's second trilogy of the Marvel Universe films.
So second trilogy. So they're not considered in this part

(01:53):
of the first one, which I thought would be a three,
but I'm considered a three. Now here's here's the deal.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Wait, by why it's not considered.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Because it's a new director he wants you to do
on a new direction.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Oh you mean is that because of mister Negative being
part of the plot.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Well you might think of that.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
This daughter from a multiverse.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Okay, you're ready for this. Various insiders the report of
the characters, like you ready for this? This is what
the things are over Bunnet's is Super Spider Man villains
you ready, Scorpion, Tombstone, Mister Negative, Black Cat and Turansia
could also show up to battle Spider Man the next
cinematic outgoing.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Well wait, so you're saying from your sources, it's all
these villains.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Again, that's exactly what I was going to get to next.
You mean, like in the last.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Movie, because I thought it was mister Negative being introduced
and how he's going to use this dark energy to
reset the world.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Well this, these are what is going on, and these
are all from the people on the set the same
that all these people are in there now what they're
scared about and what I just found out. It's the
rumored villains for Brand New Days, somehow connected to the
criminal Underworld, which fans have been dying for.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So that's what mister Negative comes.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
They want so bad that Spider Man go back to
his roots of friendly neighborhood Spider Man, or he goes
around neighborhood and gets Scorpio, mister Electro, all that stuff.
That's all don't even in black cats involved in and
of course gonna have the Black Cat because his old
lady doesn't even remember who he is anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
If you can dan who plays MJ Right, here's the question.
Does she hook up with Ned? There are some rumors
about that, but who's playing the Black Cat?

Speaker 4 (03:37):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I have no nothing on that.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
You don't think it's a new love interest.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
I think it is gonna be a love interest of this.
But here's what people are all freaked out about. Okay, uh,
the sam Remi trilogy and Mark Webb's Amazing Spider had
a similar mistake of what they believe, and there is
all the rumors. Remember things could change because I always
want this stuff out. What the Amazing Spider Man did
in part two and what's Spider Man did in number three?

(04:03):
Because we remember we had we had who is it Venom?
Which really wasn't venom, some kind of venom made up?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
We had Sandman and then the Scorpion was introduced. Ye
going to be black Cat. Is that the rumor.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I have no idea, I have no name, no names.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Well, dude, you need a Sadie sinc Is from Stranger Things,
and there is some rumors that Sadie sinc may be
playing the Black Cat.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Okay, well, all this is Remember what I said earlier.
The director is trying to do a trilogy. So they
said they're probably doing this because they're doing recognizable characters
set up for future movies including I don't know how
they're gonna do this. They want Green Goblin, Lectroll, Felicia Hardy,
Austar Smith, the Rhino, and more. Each one's doing this.
But like I said again, and I'll do with the

(04:51):
Sam Raimi one. It was a cluster with with and
if you've seen the one with Toby Maguire, at the end,
we've got Venom, We've got this. They had him playing
not the Hobgoblin who was a friend of his, and
then we got Sandman, then we got it. Just it
was so much. The storyline was all over the place,

(05:12):
and that's why they were like, well we're going to
cut back a little. We're not just getting what we
wanted to do.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, the nice thing is that Steve Dickko, who also
wrote Spider Man Spider Man two No Way Home Homecoming,
so he is going to be writing this one. So
we'll see how the writing goes. And a lot of
people think it's going to be linked up to Doomsday.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Oh that makes sense, that makes sense. So and we've
already seen and if you guys are looking at this online,
you probably are. You saw the linked footage for Doomsday.
It's already getting out there, a lot of Deadpool with.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
I think a lot of people on Deadpoole. There is
nothing on there, and Deadpool's going to be there, I know.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
But I see him Doomsday, doctor Doom talking down to
him or yelling him when he's holding a globe and
it's green, a CGI globe, so whatever that globe or
bore ball is in his has a lot to deal
with that. Also, Spider Man is sitting there talking to
Doctor Doom too, and a lot of the Hulk, not Holk,
but she Hulk and another Hulk.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
I think that's more on Doomsday. Maybe you know the
second or third credit at the end. I know a
lot of people are talking about Liza, who is coming
from the TV series Bear, so very interesting. The one
thing I really do appreciate is that they did still
give stan Lee credit of God bless you Stanley as

(06:30):
being one of the writers because it is based on
his comic Marvel comic book. But Steve Dickko, I believe
is excuse me, I apologize, Let me edit. That was
the comic book writer of the New Day One, Peter
Parker in the com books here was Mary to MJ
and then she forgot that the real writers are Chris
McKenna and Eric Sommers.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
All Right, so I told you about each of the villains,
the rumored villains from Brandy Day somehow connected to the
criminal underworld. So it breaks down like this, and we're
going back to the Spider Man, the new movie. It's
coming out mister Negative gang leader in New York City.
He's heading the Upper the Inner Demons group. And this
is from the twenty eighteen PlayStation game Tombstone in Tarantula.

(07:12):
You've probably seen it if you watch the cartoons, and
if you're not a comic book enthusiast, are both commonly portrayed.
US and forces for various gangs pay to keep the
heroes like Spider Man from interfering their boss's schemes. While
Scorpion is often predicted as a free agent, he also
sometimes falls in with various gans, including the recent appearance
in Your Friendlihood Spider Man, where he was shown to
be the leader of a new personal group of crooks.

(07:33):
And then Black Cat is seemingly affiliated with the criminal Wor,
although she typically operates on her own. And all these
villains appearing a Brand New Day could hint at a
potential gang war storyline. Each rumored attackingist could be affiliated
with different gangs vane for control over New York City,
coming to blows with one another in all out war.

(07:55):
This will put Spider Man firmly in the middle of
the conflict, and he fights to protect the innocent civilian
civilians in New York City from getting caught in the crossfire.
A gang war storyline would make it easy for Brand
New Day to juggle multiple villains using some of the
you know subtagonists, each representing one gang in the going conflict.
Rather than making the mistakes and predecessors, Brand New Day

(08:15):
can succeed where they fail. And I'm talking about the
older movies because they're actually giving them storylines, not just
throwing one in in in in in so you like,
you got to go over to this story the how
Sam Man was created. Oh, his daughter's and there's nothing
wrong with that, but it would good if he was
just one villain. And then you got to go figure
out what's going on with the Symbia and it's all

(08:35):
over the place. But here's the good news. This is
what people want. Yeah, delivering a simply surprising, compelling story
that features a large number of recognizable characters from the
Colm books, and it's Inner War with Spider Man's known
for the friendly neighborhood spider Man, not Spider Man holding
on following Tony Stark jumping around. He doesn't want eggs

(08:55):
and sign him from that lady because he's just a.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Lot of information there can you put in Layman? All right,
let's put this.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
There's a whole bunch of different characters coming that are
combooks that people want.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Why don't you just simplify it? What is something you're
excited about, something you wish and something that you heard rumors.
You really hope they don't want it they're going to do.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I hope they don't screw it up. That's what I'm
hoping I get because all the all the Common Book,
all the every every combook movie that came out with
Spider Man for his story loans so far in the
Marvin Universe. When Tom Holland came out, I loved and
there's nothing I love Toby Maguire. And the first movie
came out, I thought it was fantastic. Second one, I

(09:34):
was like, Eh, doctor Octopus, all that stuff. It's not
the Octopus I'm used to. But you know, it was
pretty good. And then it's went downhill. Tom Holland, the
movies with them, they haven't failed down amazing Spider Man.
I do want to.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Say Tom Holland has done Gray is be interesting though
he looks like a baby.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Though he looks like a baby, the wrinkles.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Yeah, well, remember he's going to his college life, so
you know he has worked out hard in many different ways.
But be interesting with all those serious roles. How he
will act in this one coming out. I'm just really interesting.
If the black Cat. I love about the multiverse and
ending it, thank you please, mister negative the multiverse, because

(10:17):
you know we have seen if you read the comic books,
you know if Sadie does play you know their child
member that brings in the MJ with that brilliant red
hair that's coming back into the comic books. But if
it's Blackcac series, he did get relationship. I think Sadie's
a little bit too young for mister Holland. Really yeah,

(10:40):
she's one of the stranger things. And then he's gonna
be acting Okay, all right, not like Carrie Grint.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
He can.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Let's go on to the next.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Happy doesn't remember him. He lost his glasses, he lost.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Edith, all right, okay, let's go on.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
A man made me lose that other news he Man.
I need the music. Yes, by the power of Grace Gulf.
So I have it. I'm loaded Up'm gonna put it
on social media in a few minutes. It's the rap
on Master's Universe. It's finally a rap uh Galtazine said
in an Instagram post. And I believe this is the actor.

(11:20):
I hope they say his name right, said an Instagram post,
including the image of himself. Is he Man? It has
been an honor shouldering the response you to playing Adam
and he Man. So we were getting the second version
of he Man. Because I want to back up, most
people always think that Adam orco and all that if

(11:42):
you follow, don't follow this, then I'm sorry, you gotta follow.
He Man in the Master Universe was the original story
that wasn't original story written about Master Marvel. The toys
were put out before the comic books were written, so
Hasmo came up with it. Did these characters what they
look like? Real buff They said, Marvel, we need a
story for this so they can with the storyline of
where he was just he Man, powerful guy. He had

(12:04):
one half a sword, Skelter have the other half a sword.
They put the two swords together and they could open
Gray Skull and go into it. There was no Adam
a self ploid where he lifted the sword and become
the superpower person. That was done for the cartoon at
Orco because they wanted to do something with more character development.
So I don't know if they're collecting items or not,
but I do have the original comments. You got with

(12:25):
a toy that showed he Men as a one person
individual and have like five of them, and she's rolling
her eyes.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
I'm relling your eyes because you've done this so many times.
Another episodes Stop living in the Past listener as a
new subscriber, So you're wondering who Nicholas Is. He has
been in many roles like Red White and Royal Blue,
Mary and Georgia miniseries, The Idea of You, August Moon,
and has five other ones coming out. Wings the Freedom,
you name it has one of wards. He definitely beefed

(12:53):
up in this series. I'm going to show upon Sekah
a little.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Maybe I have the pictures.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Oh well, what do you think him as he met
looks okay? So he comes in Adams.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
He doesn't have he doesn't have the uh the box
cut hair where it looks you know, and he has
it that he has normal hair. Who was that kid
from eight and you remember the old show Eight is Enough.
That's seventies hairstyle, that little little kid. It's this sevenies.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Just look it up. But director Travis Knight has picked
out for the sorceress gorgeous Lady Nor from Deadpool, Marena Barkerene.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
The stripper, Yes, the stripper from u Thor from the Marvels.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
He's coming over, Idris Elba Man at arms.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Oh Man at arms. He'll do good at it. Yes.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Now there's other ones that you may know more of the.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
K Sam Wilson is trapped, Jawn Marina Barsona. You said
the Sorceress. Yes, not Jane George Roy Queen.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Wow, you like talking over me. Yeah. Jared lee Letto
is Skeletor now his acting supreme. What are your thoughts
about him being Skeletic because he is a key actor
in that show.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
It's always it's always you make or break the movie
based on Skeletor, because I've learned it from the first
one with Dolph Luondern and I forgot his name. The actor.
He's famous, played some many movies, a British actor. They
had him do Skeletor, and even Evil Lynn was played
by the lady from Them, the one with a really

(14:18):
weird eyes, his bright eyes. The highlight of the movie
was Skeletor and Evil Lynn highlight. He Man all that
stuff and Orco. I was like the movie was a flop,
the original he Man, which came out in the eighties.
But if it's any edication, and he used the perfect
cast for it, I think it'll be perfect. Yeah, Jared Leada,

(14:39):
I thought it was going to be born. I was
gonna do it for a while.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
No, I've never heard of that. Tila's going to be played.
For those of you who like do Revenge Riverdale. A
lot of those team shows, Pomp Springs upgraded. Yes, I'm
speaking of the one and only Camilla Mendez. So sure
profile photos looking for very badass, so recommendation. So there's

(15:03):
a TV series, there's a couple of movies. You is
she gonna be on here? Because that's really what's important.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Watch It's gonna be the bonus at the end. I
have a sister. I can't believe it. Mom goes, Mom,
the Queen goes, he I fooled around on another planet.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I'm sorry, No, no, no, she was kidnapped and run. But
we will go into their earlier years, which is nice.
The last live action just went right into it no substance.
We will see young Prince Adam and Tila as young kids.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
So are you crious? Aren't you curious if the actor
is gonna go hey, I'm adhaim and also do not
they did it all the time. I'm at him, Prince
of Eterornia.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
I'm wondering if he's gonna look differently, but making him
like Superman where there is very mild difference.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
So eternity, where he's gonna she Man.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
In the animation at dark Skin and then Prince Adam
at light skin exactly, they look zactly, say have skins?

Speaker 1 (16:00):
So Adam would talk like this in a game of
why would they give a pink shirt?

Speaker 3 (16:05):
But Prince Adam had the hugest muscles just like he Man,
So who knows. But anyway, we have a whole bunch
of people. So yeah, for those of you who are
old school, Mossman, trap Jaw, tri Clops will be in
there and many more.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
I love t everybody. When you were growing up with
he Man loved trap Jaw, I don't know I ever
loved him because he had all those contraptions trap Jaw had.
These arms would change and his mouth was metal.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Now do you know the ten year old Adam crash
landing on Earth and losing the power store. Two decades later,
he claims and returned to Eternia.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
I don't want to have the story.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Well, I don't want to day and you spoiled it.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
It's just that, just villains.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
It's just the villains, my friends.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Pretty cool. All right, let's go to a quick interview
Blaine Weaver, the voice of Peter Pan two and many
other stuff.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
It was cool to get a filmmaker, don't forget yes,
I just.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Wanted to ask a few things. How was it, how's
he doing it for Disney? Is he happy? Wally good stuff?
While we're at a con and we got to sit
down with him? Check this out? Okay, So I'm sitting
here with Blaine Weaver. We're at a comic con. I
love coming these comic cons. I hate to come with
you guys, and it's so personal and stuff like that.
Thank you let me like stand with you and you
sit down with me. I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
No, it's my pleasure. Thanks for being here.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
So I like doing this because on your nerd side,
I like talking to all the voiceover artists. And we've
had over We've been on for two years and I
have over two to three hundred voice artists from everyone
from the sixties, fifties. Someone passed away and I hate
to see this, Blaine. I'm going to tell you this.
Guests who I interviewed before you the last person. This
is not bad for you. No idea boogie boogie who
passed away? Is that unbelievable? Or why? All right? All right?

(17:44):
Everybody wants to know who's Blaine? Who is this guy?
What is he doing the voice of Peter Pan. How
did you pick this up? So this picked up in
the second movie you did this? Or how did it go?

Speaker 2 (17:53):
That's right?

Speaker 4 (17:54):
This was so Returned to Neverland was the first time
I did Peter Pan. They and I'm an actor in
Los Angeles, and I went basically to my agents and
I said, hey, I haven't had many good auditions late.
What's going on? And they said, once you go down
the hall and audition for one of the lost boys
in this movie they're doing. So I went in and
they had me auditioned for Cubby and I felt silly
doing the voice. It was the original had like a

(18:15):
kind of a goofy kind of voice, you know, And
I said, I feel self conscious doing this, but.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
I can do a kid, and Peter Pan is.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
My favorite cartoon growing up, so it's like I could
hear his voice in my head. So can I just
audition for Peter And They're like sure, and so I did.
And then six weeks later they called me and said,
does the voiceover department even represent you?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
And I'm like, no, not really. I was in the theater.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Theatrical department and they're like, well, we represent you now
because Disney wants to see you again for Peter Pan
and that's been it.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
You know, it's like we did return to Neverland.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
We've done video games and toys and everything they needed you.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Did you do the what's the video games you always
play with? The little thing you put on it? What
was it called? Did you do it's me? That's me?

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Yeah, there it is.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
He's got you all over the house and that's I'm
talking about my son. You're sitting behind me. This is amazing,
and I'm going to ask you this question. This is
a million dollar question because a lot of people don't
realize how much this means to do stuff. So the
night you got this, did you sleep that night after
you realized you got this? Or you're too excited? It was?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
It was crazy.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
I didn't believe it was actually happening. And then very
soon afterwards, we did a couple of we read through
the whole movie, recorded it over a couple of weeks,
and then Disney let go a bunch of the supporting cast.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
So I really didn't think it was going to be
me at the end. I was convinced they were going
to hire Michael J. Fox or something.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
At the last second, and I didn't really believe it
was happening until three years later when I saw the
trailer over Christmas and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Okay, I guess it's I guess it's me.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
But it's it's just been such a great ride, and
it's very much like playing an iconic character, Like I
feel like Peter Fan is kind of like Superman or
James Bond or something. It's like everybody knows Peter Fan.
So it's just great to be part of this history,
part of the Disney family, and it's very special and
I feel very lucky here.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Here's only questions. So, considering the original Peter Pan to
your voice when you're doing it, did you try to
replicate him or did you try to tweak it and
make it your own?

Speaker 4 (20:09):
You know, we they really wanted I really wanted some
continuity with it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
So it was about Bobby Driscoll's voice.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
It was about matching that tone, but really it was
about the nineteen fifties. Oh gee, you know the kind
of that's swell, you know, that kind of thing is
really the essence of it.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I think Bobby's voice.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Was higher than mine, but I feel like the essence
is the same and so we just kind of we
wanted it to be continuation for people to be like, yeah,
that's a guy from the first movie.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
So I try to sound as much like Bobby's like gain.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
All right, So what other stuff are you working on?
Are you doing for voiceovers? Is you worked on? Well?

Speaker 4 (20:45):
Voiceovers are kind of an ancillary thing to me. You know,
when something pops up, I do it. It's mostly Peter Pan,
but I'm also a writer director. I've got a new
film that I just directed called Ms. Valentine that's gonna
drop next year. And i just wrote a movie for
MTV called Pretty Stone, which so I'm just keep busy
trying to do the renaissance kind of artist existence, trying

(21:06):
to do all kinds of things.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
All Right, People want to reach out to you, they
want to follow you on your social media handle. What
is it? Is it Blaine Waver Weaver or what.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
It's Blaine Weaver at Instagram?

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Baby?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
And you guys are gonna have all of the time
with this because most people are gonna go be l
A I N E. But it's not. It's b L
A Y n E. And then Weaver at Blaine Weaver, Right,
So remember, I have it there. You just go to
your nerdside dot com. If you we love you listen
to the shows. But if you want to catch some
of the past shows, I mean over the years, from
everybody from Lino to actors to screen actors to voiceover artists.

(21:39):
We got them all and they're always on a sound store. Yeah,
skeletor Openheimer's on there with us. You can check it
out on your nerd side page. And it's all right there.
All right, here's some cool things. And I'm really excited
about this. My son is too, and I'm excited. Today
is Today is and we're doing the show on Father's Day.
And Kula did a great job. They did a post

(22:01):
it and just pushed this promo for King of the Hill,
which is coming out. All I got to say, it's
on the bottom of my thing.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
I'll find it out to piss of talk about firm handshake.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
And it talks about Bobby's voice is different because he's older.
They're all older. The ring.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Did you go on YouTube? You can see him and yeah,
there's some scuffles right there.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
All right, So synopus synopsis of the story. You're ready
for this. This is what blows me away? And I
did an article about this, like two weeks ago, but
one more time. After years working as a propane job
in Saudi Arabia to earn his retirement, Nest, Egg, Hank
and Peggy returned to a change Arlen, Texas to reconnect

(22:40):
with old friends Dale, Boomhuer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby's living
his dream as a chef in Dallas and joined his
twenties with his former classmate Connie, Joseph and Kahn.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Yeah, we do have a child, Andre, would you recommend
to work in Saudi.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Arabia or you make some good movie there?

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Yeah, Disneyland's going over there.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
The synopsis of the reboot has shared more Decais about
what's happening with the whole family, says the fans last
saw on the original show, so probably has taken up
a job now listen to this a new job in Arlen,
and they're not really seeing what it is. We don't know.
So he left Saudia Radio. I don't know if he's
retired or no. But I just know he's doing something.
But you got to check it out. I'm gonna post
it and I just downloaded it is the do you

(23:23):
have a date for that? Did you see it.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Yeah, August four, twenty twenty five, all ten episodes will
be there. And yes it's been confirmed what Fonseka said
about the plot line. But one thing that you may
not know. Johnny Hardwick, who plays Dale, records six episodes
before his twenty twenty three deaf Toby huss takes over
from episode seven onward, so Dale stays in the series.

(23:47):
But also, sadly to say, Jonathan josh who plays John Redcorn,
recorded fourth episode before his tragic death on June one,
twenty twenty five. Or you can find out EW dot com.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
And also dot com. Also we did a post on
John Redcorn himself. We did a special thing for John Redcorn.
It's on your nerd side. Wow. That is amazing. Okay,
uh continue over nothing. King of the Hill. I'm excited
to see this and if you oh oh, and if
you want to see all the episodes prior episodes, I mean,
I I lived for the show. I loved it. So
they're all shirts. Yeah, yeah, that's my son. I bought

(24:27):
it for him because he's so into it. There is
an episode where Bobby's getting picked on and bullied at school,
so Hank sends into the YMCA to learned boxing was full,
so he went to a woman's defense class and they
let him in and he goes. He kicks people on
the balls and said, I don't know you. That's my purse.
Give me your purse. No, that's my purse.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Don't be afraid to shout at death le peurs.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Try it again.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
That's my purse.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
I don't know you. Go check it out.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
And Bobby is the original voice he does reprising.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
You know who she is, right, I don't have her name.
What's her name she is? She's a funny Pamela. It's
a female. It's she does such a good job. Yeah,
same voice, but she tried to give them a little
older Okay, So last Wednesday, MV was kind enough to
take all of us, the whole family, to go see
How to Train Your Dragon?

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Did I?

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Because you want to read it? All the kids?

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Your no, no, no one of our series.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Here's the best part of there when we showed up
to see How to Train Your Dragon was the popcorn bucket,
not the Train your Dragon popkin bucket, the Jaws fiftieth
anniversary bucket.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Thank you for for taking away the children's college fund.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Oh my god. So here's the deal. I posted all
of them on social media, all my old bosses, their
upper and age go. I want the bucket, just the
bucket that has the the the the woman on the
board that's at the Jaws. I forgot the name of
the town. It looks like the Pain of that. I
want that. But then the bucket and it's on the floor,
still in the basket. It's the Jaws head opens up

(26:03):
the mouth. You put the popcorn bucket and check out
arts Instagram. I have it up there. It's so cool.
It reminds me. And it came out when Jaws came
out in seventy seven seventy eight. My mom bought it
for me. It was the Jaws game and it was
a shark that sat on your table table and it
had a rubber band on its mouth, and you put
all this garbage in there because kind of like in
the movie too, and you have a little hook and

(26:25):
you slowly take one piece out and then another person
takes next piece out and the weight based on the weight,
it would snap clothes and you lose. I had this
for years and my nephew took it and broke it
all through in the garbage. It was in my store.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Yes, happy uncle, and once again back to How to
Train Your Dragon. You actually did a wonderful job. Let's
get again our new demographic, younger information that that's for
the old folks for job.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
So this movie live action? Now what did come out?
Animated also had a sequel, but this one has become
a blockbuster style much different than snow White. She to
have strong performances. Did you get in Korea?

Speaker 1 (27:02):
So? I got? I got How to Train Your Dragon?
The debuting this weekend. Well, the week so this is
from Wendy. I got eighty three point seven million. That's
opening weeks.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Well.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
The budget was one hundred and fifty million. It's already
surpassed two hundred million dollars.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
HI and franchise so far, they say, yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
So for the first weekends, done well and listen, folks,
for those who love it new and old. Yes, there
is a sequel. There is a credit at the end.
Eleven horrible, second to worst.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
So she goes on, she goes on her phone. She
goes on her phone and goes was there a bonus?
And I'm like, yeah, are they going to ask the
Dragon to join the Avengers? Like I say, every time
week and we sat there how long for that thing
credits and it just shows. It shows hiccups, school night
shows hiccup, just drawing the dragon again that was it.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Yes, but anyway, it is what it is. Yeah, you
could miss the credit. Live action sequel is a ready
schedule for June eleventh, twenty twenty seven. The question is
this okay spoiler alert? If you watch the animated movie,
the live action is pretty much ninety five percent exactly
the same storyline. So for those who are going back

(28:18):
just to see the live action, yes, great acting, Jared
Butler does a great job. Again, feel free to have
a couple of drinks. You won't miss too much of
the spotline. But if you're new, definitely is it imax worthy.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
It's worthy. But there's another thing. I mean, they're doing
it regular all this month. They're at the Alamo if
you're close to an animal draft house, they're doing the
special how to Train Your Dragon parties where you can
bring the kids and there's all this dragon food that
you can order, and it's a party that they get hats, stickers,
all this stuff and they interact with the movie and
stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
So check it out and if you want to know
about how kids like it, check up on Seka Mommy
and Me Show. There is a kid review of the
movie done by the one and only Aaron Von says,
the youngest.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Son, uh so, how to train regular fourth biggest domestic
box offing premiere.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
The he throwing lelo and sweat sweat.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Stitch switch he could be switch. She's still in the switch.
He wants to buy a Nintendo Swist. Oh my god,
I'm telling you, uh, what's Stitch is gonna come over
here and chew up the box office. We pissed and
spit all over him. So overall, I know you said
it's did you like it? Yes or no?

Speaker 3 (29:24):
I enjoyed more going with my sons because it's literally
exactly the same with the animated movie.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
I never paid attention to the movie. It's one of
those movies I just didn't pay attention to.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
I s animation.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, because the voice that guy, I know, the actor,
he's the guy. It's part of the seth Rogan gang,
and that guy his voice just anoising and I'm like,
I can't do this. I can't.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Well, that's what the whole point. I think they played
it better. How Hiccup was more isolated community. But the
voice actor for the animated movie. He his voice. It
made sense to be animated. The good thing is it
shows about a invasion community. And I understand.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Gerard Butler I thought was fantastic.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
His dad, well, he's the original voice actor the dad. Yes,
a lot of people reprise their rose.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Amazing he goes, He goes, We're gonna fight these dragons
for spotting.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Wasn't he spotting?

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Yeah, they always do this. Scottish and Frost, the friend
of uh Sean of the Dead. They have your sad guy.
It's all I know. Frost he is plays the smith,
the blacksmith who was training them. Mary, I love it.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Oh, I was wondering who he was. So yeah, Nick Frost.
So Nick Frost is there as Gobbler Mason tam So
what did you think of him as Hiccup? I like
the kid was What about Nico Parker who plays Astridge,
the female heroin The Big Thing That You Love? You
always are anti like wonder Woman in the real world.
Julian Dennison, who's known as fish Legs, who is also

(30:55):
your favorite from h Deadpool.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Guys, he's done so many movies that kid has just
got a He's not a number one, he's a sidekick
or a third part. But that's a great way to
get at it, except if you're one person that I
love so much. I forgot his name right there, and
I love him so Sam, Sam, Sam Rockwell, Sam Rockwell,
I'm gonna We're gonna attach tag this like crazy. Sam

(31:21):
Rockwell is a fantastic actor. He did Moon, he played
the bad guy for on Iron Man, and he is
just an actor against He's an A actor and they
treat him like a B actor, but he is an
A plus actor. He's up there. He should be doing
his own stuff all the time. That is a freaking
he is. Oh my god, he looks so different. What's

(31:43):
like the Galaxy? The Hitchhoker's Guide to the Galaxy. I
didn't even know that was him. I didn't even know that.
I didn't even know he was in Galaxy Quest till
later on. How he morphs so much in all the movies?
All right, gotta wrap up the show. Excited next weekend,
Amv's taking me to go see twenty eight years later.
I'm get the popcorn bucket for that. It's blood with
zombie guts. You pull out. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Okay, but the world of vikings and dragons do see it?
I do want to say one comed the other people
are saying it's visually stunning, so imax, yes or no?
You didn't answer that that it was good?

Speaker 1 (32:13):
It's good.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah, yeah, it's visually appealing. Makes me want to go
to where was it filmed? Do you remember you were surprised?

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Shoot, don't say any art not Ireland? Uh? Was it? U? Canada? Canada?
Where I forgot New Zealand, New Zealand. That's it, I
got it. I'm a genius is in New Zealand. She's
like New Zealand, New Zealand. Hey, guys, make sure to
