Joe Ochman is an American actor who is most active in voice over roles in various animation shows, films, and video games. He is the fourth and current voice of Jiminy Cricket since 2014.

Within a mural of a Ghorlectipod, or Ghorman spider from the planet Ghorman, if one looks closely, the body of the spider is the face of an iconic Star Wars villain - Darth Maul. X (formerly Twitter) user Jammin333 noted that the mosaic design is a deliberate homage to Darth Maul.“Andor production designer Luke Hull shared one of the gorgeous Ghorlectipod spider mosaics from the Ghorman cafe. This one appears to embody Darth Maul, who at one point in The Clone Wars became half cyber-spider. Love the design details down to the inverted crescent moon chin,” Jammin333 said in their post.

During the Saturday update, Rebirth received another prediction, with the film looking at a worldwide opening of $312.5 million, ahead of the initial projection of $260 million. That leads to the second-biggest global opening of the year, just behind A Minecraft Movie, which dangerously neared $1 billion and ended its run at $953.1 million, and ahead of Lilo & Stitch, which is soon set to surpass the former as it has already grossed $951.5 million worldwide.Rebirth won't have the biggest opening in the Jurassic franchise, as it trails behind Jurassic World's $525 million. The film also has the second-best offshore opening so far, behind the Chinese animation Ne Zha 2, and ahead of Lilo & Stitch. Jurassic World Rebirth also had the best Fourth of July haul for a No. 1 film post-COVID-19, and it outranked 2024's Despicable Me 4.

a fantastic fourth of July.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Way you asked me, Yeah, I know that, but that's
my opinion.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
You didn't have a good time to respect my opinion.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
On the fourth of July, we celebrated the Red, White
and Blue, watching Little Jaws and Backyard Jaws is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
That is the best fourth of July. You can have
had a little bit of the little flares. What are
those things called the streamers?

Speaker 6 (02:10):
Streamers?

Speaker 1 (02:11):
What's the thing we have? The things we lit up?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
What are those things called fire?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Not fire? For the Fourth of July.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Sprinklers.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Sparklers, that's it.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
We had Sparklers made Fourth of July the best you
can possibly mean there. It doesn't make you feel more
American than blowing up anything, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
You just blow up things.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
And growing candles, comments, mind salutes, crossts.

Speaker 1 (02:34):

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Hey, make sure to always follow us on social media
and then send any questions or anything that I do.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I am we love that, We love that, Okay, real fast.
I wanted to talk about this.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Disney's Rogue one prequel series, and Door is arguably one
of the most celebrated Star Wars series ever produced. With
its massive This is unbeievb I didn't even know this
six hundred and fifty million budget for twenty four of
episodes over two seasons. It seemed like it's like no
expansive was well expanse was spared. Even regarding some things

(03:07):
has gone unnoticed by fans.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Like easter eggs.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
There are some fans they've been posting it. It's called
hidden Mickey a website and they posted on social media.
Luke at Hall, United Kingdom during a few episodes of
Rogue one. This is cool and I want to put this out.
There was a secret teacher mural depicted on the show
and it's a mosaic of a of something.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
With Darth Maul. I might say so.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Production diner Luke Hall shared one of the gorgeous spider
mosaics from the Gorman Cafe, the one that appeers embodied
Darth Maul, who's at one point in the Clone the
Wars became half cyber spider a spider love design teach sales.
You should take a look at it. I haven't posted
on the show's website. Right below it and it looks

(03:57):
at as Darth Maul in there.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I sent it to you. You see it now.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I did not look at Oh my, did you have
by the Gormand culture It's.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
It's well, there's a spider for the Gormont Do you
know what I'm talking about?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
There's spiders all.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yes, yes, maybe it's just a spider.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
It's a spider.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
If you look at it, it's got Darth Maul's face
inside of it, because remember he was half a spider
at the end of the Clone Wars. If they chopped
him off, he turned himself into a spider.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
To get her wrapped. So that's pretty cool. I thought
it was pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
No, doesn't it look more like a scorpion.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
No, it's a spider. It's a Gorman spider. There's spiders
on this planet.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yes, I do. It's okay, all right.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Never mind, all right, this weekend, I'm done with that.
I thought it was so exciting.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I thought you would just go, wow, that is so cool.
I love when they put Easter eggs. She's just not
into Easter eggs. You know, some people are. Some people are.
All right, let's shift gears down the.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Mighty Easter eggs actually come out with something Jurassic World.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Let's shift gears the Jurassic World read birth, which and
this year is predicted the rebirth would gross.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
One hundred and thirty three point.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Five million over the it's five day domestic only. It's
slightly improved on Thursday after the new entry.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
What's it up to now? Do you know? Can you see.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Of the sales?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah, one moment, she's a domestic update. They said.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Now this is what I got, And remember I prepped
this yesterday morning.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Updated is one hundred and forty one point two million.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
With earned ninety one point five million during the standard
three day July forth weekend, contributing to a five day
total one four to seven point three million in four
thousand years, ranked in approximately one hundred and seventy one
million from eighty two overseas territories worldwide. Total global earnings
reached three hundred and eighteen to three hundred and twenty.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Million by the end of the opening weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Do you know why it did better because it opened
on Wednesday instead.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Of the regular Friday too.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah, so it's projected to have about nine hundred million overrun.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
This that leads to the second's biggest global opening of
the year, just behind a Minecraft movie, which dangerously neared
one billion, and it's run at nine hundred and fifty
three point one million, and ahead of Leelan Stitch, which
soon set to surpass the former as it's already gross
nine hundred and fifty one point five million.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
World War the budget was one hundred and eighty million,
so it's known to or it's predicted to have three
to five million times that profit.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
And you know what, And some people were saying, Dinosaur
Film's done, and even my son goes, are they going
to make any more?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Why do they keep making it.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Well even they said it in the movie, not so
much about the movies, but the people were just getting
about dinosaurs, like they didn't care them being dead in
their civilization. That's how the beginning opens up, dinosaurs dying
left and right because of disease and the climate change.
So it's kind of like showing how audience.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
May be feeling. But something's working though.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
All right, So what did you think of the movie
before I get into it.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
I think I'm glad that I saw it Alamo if
it wasn't for the food, and maybe not enjoyed it
as well.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
You know, I gotta be honest. It just there was
just something missing from this movie.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Give me a good script.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
The script was bad. It was just all they're doing.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
And lack of predictability, like how did everyone survive?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Pretty much all.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
The main actors, how did the family survive?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Okay, if you're going in there, the little girl and
a teenager and a teenage boy and a dad, Come on, dude,
one of your kids are gonna get eaten.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
I don't want it. But they did get it. They
were mentionally gonna get I don't know. The script was lackluster.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
They just go to the island because of company, and
every movie there's always one bad guy who's from the company.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
You even noticed that.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
The lawyer the owner of the company, and they always
end up dying and they always got to do something.
But it's like the bad guy just wanted them to
go to the freakin Island because they needed to get
these specimens so this can.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Cure people or whatever. So they had to do it.
But it was all about money, money, money, money, money, money, money.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Well, supposedly the visual effects wereas what really gave it
the big appeal. So supposedly, if you look at the
rank of popularity number one of course nineteen ninety three
Jurassic Park, then Jurassic World from twenty fifteen, dressic Rod,
Falling Kingdom twenty eighteen, because they got the core vibes.
Jurassic Park the three two thousand and one, they thought

(08:38):
some of the diosaur was pretty cool, but the plot
was weak.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Jurassic World Rebirth was ranked number five.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Really, yes, it was, Yeah, so that even ranked higher
than the Steven Spielberg directorial of Jurassic Park The Lost World.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
You know, I didn't want to get into this, but
I love Jurassic World when it came out.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
I think you is love Chris Pratt, Yes you do.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
I did like him because he minds Evingie in a
Jones in that movie. But okay, Scarlett Johansen. Did she
do a great job.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
In this movie?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
I think she always does. I think she's very consistent.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
But was she like that A list person in the
front like, WHOA did you get that?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I think you're just sexist, keeping yes, find me find
me an episode besides Wonder Woman that you have been
impressed with a female actress, a leading female actress.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Well, I can go captain more of because that movie sucked.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Okay, so there we go.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
That movie did sucks. I mean I liked Ironheart. Ironheart
was good.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Okay, so Red Williams I liked her, Yeah, okay, I
liked her.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
I liked that.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Well, then maybe that's our segue to Ironheart.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Iron Heart or we're done with this because I'm not sexist.
I'm not sexist at all. Maybe a little bit, but.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Not too much. No, no, no, I'm just kidding. So
Ironheart had it's three, So I like this. They do
three shows in Disney plus here was three, so and
then three?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Or oh, you mean three at a time.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Yeah, they did three three, so every other week three
and then three, so there were six in total.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I liked it, and uh, he said.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
He kept on saying, with time fressa, go to bed,
go to bed.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
We got a little kid in the house, just gotta
go to bed. I can't watch three of those.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
But the thing was, is the whole movie and I'm
gonna do these traights was borat.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
It was Mafesto.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
That was just bad. Talk about good acting, and he
am kind of built up.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
His shots him in first first. So you didn't huh, yes,
I did. Oh he didn't. I was like, that's boring.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
No, I was just looking at his chest.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I wasn't even to come out and goes, hey, when
the the girl comes out, he goes, do you want
your wishes? He goes, I take my wife please. Hey,
I'm a full of Scodnavio where he's from. Go ahead,
what do you want to say about it?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
They him the rapist? Nothing nothing say.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Oh, so you just liked it, that's it, Okay, We're
gonna move on. It's just nothing to say about it.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
You're just a tip of my tongue about Shah doesn't.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Want to talk about or that because his name is
not what is his name?

Speaker 1 (11:06):
He's my mother.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
She's oldest woman in the Hall of Cluse. She is
a faulty three.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I love him Shashasha or Sasha Mison some whatever.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Just now he told that.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I just thought I thought he's his movies are funny,
what he does him.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
But Baron Cohen, that's it.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
I'm saying it wrong though. But the way do you
think about.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
The devil a k he's a demon? No, No, Mephesto
is not a demon.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
If you look it up, he is not the devil.
He's a demon.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
He's like the devil of the universe.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
A demon wouldn't have that metch power more, it's more powerful.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Was the last time you freaking met a demon and
asked him in the bathroom?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
So she goes to the So let me get this right.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You've talked to the devil, the demon, and you talk
to what's his name?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Will you? No, I want to make a I want
to make a devil darm I want to make a
deal with you.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
So you talked all these and you classified him. Mephesto
is a is a demon. He's not the devil. He
is not the devil.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
He is the devil of the Marvel universe. I'm not
gonna use the devil.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I don't think so. But if you're gonna let it go,
I'll let it go.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Okay, Okay, you could say that he goes. So here
is if you go ask my mine, he says. Mephisto
is a demon who acts.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Like a devil.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
There's not okay, Just for those who have never heard
about him. He first appeared in Civil Surfer number three
in nineteen sixty eight, and he was created by Stan
Lee and John Bashuma. He was inspired by the Devil
and the Golf's Fall. Specifically, Okay, mephestielis he rules a

(12:53):
hell like dimension in the Marvel multiverse. Okay, he's just
like one less not the from Christianity, but similar.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
So he's the devil, but similar. He's a demon like cosmic.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Entity, a demon character from the Foss legend, who some
referred to as Mafesto introduces it early.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Just don't want the righteous way to go after them.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I just I just I just don't think he's the devil.
I just don't think so, because he win waste the
devil win waste his time with that girl and those people.
He gets enough.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
People in hells as possible. They do enough things on
their arms.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Okay, So since you've read about this for such a
long time, what his connection about the Hood is it
the same time?

Speaker 4 (13:38):
If it's different, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
The Hood was a combook? I never read that one.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
No, okay, Now, how do you like how when he
was stirring the tea or coffee? A lot of people
are saying he was hypnotizing re Re, like in not nope?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Was it nope?

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Up up? No, not up down?

Speaker 4 (14:02):
It's get out, get out? So what do you think
about that?

Speaker 3 (14:06):
And did you see on the spoon was the true
image of Mephesto?

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah? I did say. I did say that I saw that.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
You saw that? So what are your thoughts?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Maybe he is okay, so you feel the re Re
said yes, that wasn't her playing in her head.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
But she just said yes, So I don't know she
looks older Part two or they're going to know.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
They said there isn't one. That's it, that's it.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
So they're not saying that re Re won't be appearing,
should be somewhere. So but that is the end of
phase five and then the Natalie that comes back is
not Natalie Ai. They're saying that is a Natalie that
Mephesto gets from another multiverse. So that's why she's all
shocked and looking like she's not like dead and coming

(14:55):
back as like a Frankenstein. She's like, where the hell
am I? You noticed her expression? So and I was
sad to see the Natalie Ai going away? Now what
do you think about Staane? Is that how you say
his last name?

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Stayin?

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Yes, Zeke?

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Who's Zeke? Is that her boyfriend? No?

Speaker 4 (15:18):
That's Xavier?

Speaker 1 (15:20):
So her Xavier is Reheree's boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
No, they're not official. That's Natalie's younger brother. Zeke is
a Zekiel Stayne. He's the son of the first enemy
of Tony Start. Oh god, god, he's the son of
Joe or Joe why job thunderbolts.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Oh my god, there's so much.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
So as you're talking, I'm trying to go through the
comm books and look for the Hood. The Hood was
in the Mephesto somehow it's in the comm book and I.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Can't it's Memphesto's cape.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
It is his cape, but I want to where he
got it from. Ever followed. It's a long time ago
long time, but this is I think that's the seventies
or eighties.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
So for those who don't know who Zeke is, he's
a genius on part with or even some people even
think beyond Tony Starr. But while Tony uses tag, Zeke
enhances biology and he does this with his own body
with cellar level this, so he's a bioengineering focus. Instead
of wearing armor like Iron Man, Zeke is the weapon
he and integrates advanced biotech into his body. That's why

(16:28):
he was so easy to defeat Ironheart because she used
solar and wind power and then he charges her up,
so defeats that. It's not like when Thor uses the
thunder or electricity. He powers up Tony because that is
electrical base that is not what her energy sources.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
So is he a good guy Zeke or a bad guy?
In the comic book series.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I never followed him. But can we go back to
the Hood. But let's go found it? Okay?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Uh so mafesto Silver Surfer uh bargain with the Hood
for his powers the Silver Surfer of Bargain.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Yeah yeah, the Hood.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Various comics, magic base abilities, enhanced powers, gains, powered through
deal with a Festo. The Hood's origins. The Hood also
known as Parker Robins and that wasn't his name, was it? No,
is a character gains his powers to deal with Infesto.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
And the comics Parker Robins that's his name. Yeah, yes, yes, sorry.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Robins who came the Hood after encounter demons during a seance.
This tricks his bargain with a Festo to gain lost powers.
With tieson directly to the demon's influence, the Hood.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Acquires his powers a deal. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
So there's a whole bunch of comic books where the
Hood has been given powers of the Hood to people.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
And then just to let people know, in the comic books,
Ze actually is known as more of a terrorist. So,
as they put it simply, he is a son who
focused on continuing destruction, even though that's initiative and want
it's all rereasonfall for that over redemption, which Tony.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Stark does, do you think?

Speaker 4 (18:06):
So that's what they said.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Now he was supposed to be a little bit bigger
in armor wards and then we're talking about young Avengers,
but now all those young Avengers are going to be old,
and supposedly it's they're thinking about maybe putting them in Champions,
But I didn't hear I've been hearing a lot about Champions,
like from the Young Avengers, but I don't see that
in Phase six. Haven't you already talked about what Phase

(18:29):
seven movies are.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
No, damn't need to say anything.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
I think they're trans play one step at a time,
so they will go into the King universe.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
And are you sad that King's gone?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
I've read so many people sad about King being gone
from the phases of this.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
You are sad? You want to listen to that story?

Speaker 3 (18:47):
I was.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I was so sick of multipers.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
So in the comic books, Obadiahs stayin, stayin.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
That's Obadiah's the bad guy.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Obadiah's the way he saw in him stint.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
He's a super villain the Marvel comics who first appear
in two thousand and he's known as a genius level. Yeah,
but he's he's evil. So are they gonna tie it
the same way? I liked him as a.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Good guy, though I did like him was good, maybe
because he was han solo.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Maybe maybe I wanted to have a second chance with
his his uh, his thing.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
You know what we always thought they were gonna do.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
I always thought they were gonna go with the Infinity
Stones and the the Infinity War, the final one.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
They were gonna do a snap and bring back all the.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Bad guys, and it was gonna be a bag battle,
and I thought it was gonna be like the.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Red Skull.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Zek Uh Ebadiah and who else am I missing?

Speaker 3 (19:41):
But just this time reminds me of those comic books
when it was DC versus Marvel.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
That was dope. Remember, yeah, I love those, I love.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Yes, so yeah so for Disney Plus, the only main
thing is they're talking about is Isawa Kanda.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
But it's a backstory from a long time ago. That's
what in four episodes, Marvel.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Zombies, wonder Man, Vision Quez, Daredevil, your friendly neighbor with
Spiderman season two coming back like Daredevil, don't forget Punish
your special Yes, I know, fantastic for Avenger already said that,
Spider Man.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Avenders Secret Wars. But nothing nothing else.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
All right, let's get a quick interview, come back, a
few more things talk about. We're gonna wrap up the show.
Remember you always need something, you want to weigh in
and you tell me I'm stupid.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Or you can tell me I'm the genius.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
It's terrible.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
I don't mind, as long as you get around with us.
Is always at your nerd side. And then on top
of that, go check out our YouTube channel at your
nerd side to see all the cool stuff and crap
they send us that we open up for you guys.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
And I've got on my board here, got one, two, three, four,
four things to load up.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
It's a lot of stuff at your nerd side YouTube
and it just follows. You'll love it all right, Joe Ackerman,
You're gonna love this dude. He's got a friend with him.
You want to send me a child Protective Services? Why
listen to this? My so, I've never come to a
comic con before and had two individual celebrities say feed
your kid, feature kid, feature kid. If M Family Protective

(21:09):
Services is getting a hold of this, please do not
come and arrest me. Please do not come get me.
I am sitting in front of Joe Achman. I say
that right, it's Achman Achman like worry.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Everybody gets it wrong.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
I'm not going to report to the Family Services because
of the fact that.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
You talk about I did feed my kid and this
speed your kid.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
We won't vouch for you.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
And this beautiful woman is sitting to the right of you.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Who is this beautiful you see' a voice artist too,
and you just brought her along.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
My partner in crime today, Ellen Dubin, Ellen Duben So, Ellen.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Dubman is a voice artist, and she just happened to come.
She getting two for the price of one today. That's
that is fantastic. So Ellen, you do the voices for
Star Wars Resistance.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
You did General Captain Fasm, and you did.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
Lego, Yes, Lego, Star Wars and Star Wars Resistance.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
I am Captain FAsMA.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Jesus, you're just your type cast fan that Fasm.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
I like those commanding women.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
You know what? And I got to say about her.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Disney is a great company, but they sell a lot
of characters short. They have a especially it's yes, okay.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
The short characters.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
You're right.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
What is that?

Speaker 2 (22:24):
They did it the Darth mall, they did everybody else.
And I talked to him and he sat down with me. God,
I forget his name, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
I can't believe in doing it to him. He sat
Gray Park.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
So he goes, let's not do an all you thing,
but he and I can see this. He goes, First
they talk to me, they're going to bring me back
for a series, and then.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
They go, no, we're not going to do it. Oh,
then we want to do it, and.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Then they leave me hanging. I can't stay young forever,
and I can't swing the sword around forever.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
I'm getting old.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
And he goes, I feel so bad for the guy
because they were trying to redo him and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
But let's just tell about you, guys. So how did
you get.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
The Lindsey Halper Peerlman, the casting director, heard me my
voice in a class flash forward a year later. She said,
I hear Gwendolyn Christy in you and hopefully you can
do a British accent, which I could because this is
a British British character and she casts me in it.
It was literally somebody hearing me. You never know when

(23:21):
you're setting the next you know, like when somebody hears
you that a couple of years down the road, they're
going to hire you. So every job or every time
you lead for something and could set the foundation for
something in the future.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
And I'm telling you, even with this, your resumes more
stuff's gonna pop up for you.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
So are you are you working getting more stuff or
auditioning for it as we speak now?

Speaker 5 (23:46):
Yes, I am, I bet I've done quite a few
things right now. You're talking about like what I have
coming up for anything coming up? Well, Star Wars, Outlaws,
and I have a new video game that just came
out yesterday called Dragon Guard Dragon Something, the Bail Guard,
Dragon Age, the Veil Guard, the bail.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
And they want to find out about you. What are
you on social media?

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Ellen Duben, actor on Instagram and Facebook? And I got
a lot of interesting projects.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
That's good. It's good. You got a website set up
or anything yet?

Speaker 4 (24:18):
Ellen Duben dot com?

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Did you did you? Did you push this for her
to gotta do a website? You gotta do this? Or
she did all this sudden? Wow, it's amazing how things
are changing. I'm the guy that goes.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
So if you don't know that to the to the
right of me, but to the left of her. That
is the voice of for this comic con. Everybody's pushing it. Nobody,
Nobody knows this guy. He's just a small figure. It
wasn't really big at all. Jimmy the Cricket. Hey current
the current voice of Jimminy Cricket. So they pulled you
back in the parks and I'm going to stand up
a little bit of get close. Are they they pull

(24:53):
you in.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
The parks to do voices for stuff? No? No, no,
you know what are they pulling you for doing stuff? Anything?

Speaker 6 (25:00):
I mean, it's yeah, you go from job to job.
I've done some Disney on ice, I've done some. I've
done a couple of TV things. I've done a couple
of game things. So you know, it's whatever they want
me to do.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
There's been some in park stuff.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
I gotta tell you ride where I believe I'm the
guy that says make sure you're in your seats and
make sure you buckle up and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Don't you love that stuff?

Speaker 6 (25:21):
Oh? I love it to be one of the guys
that everybody's listening to other wall they're standing in line for
five hours.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I think it's the best because then they're a captive audience. Joe,
what are you working on right now? What do you
got going on? You know, there's always something new going on.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
I'm trying to think of what.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
What I can talk about that I don't have to
kill you for because I have to keep it a secret. Everything. Yeah,
so many Indians. I've been doing a lot. I've doing
some anime. I do a lot of anime, as you
can see if you look around see it.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
And I just oh, a thing just came out called
Ghost Cat on jo it's just coming out in theaters
now on November fifteenth, or yeah, November fifteenth, and it's
a wonderful anime film by the g Kids people.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
And then that.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Not yet not it's so funny. She's whispering in her ear.
She goes, you can talk about this or this. I
can't announce that yet. No, it's sly mine. And you
have social media? What's your social media handles?

Speaker 6 (26:13):
Social media's at Joe Achman pretty much everywhere Joe Aachman
actor on Facebook, but at Joe Aachman on ax, at
Joe Aachman on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
I love that you.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
What's the funniest thing the best and this is both
of you. What is the thing that you guys love
most that you do?

Speaker 6 (26:28):
I mean, Jimminy is one of the great honors of
my life to the current coy does Jimmy?

Speaker 1 (26:32):
How great an honor is that I'm walking into the
shoes of giants.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
I get to do this amazing thing, and that's wonderful.
But I've also blundered into a first of Star Wars visions.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Okay, great anime series.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
The very first voice you hear in it is my
voice in the entire series. And I was really proud
of that one. That that was really good. All this stuff,
there's a lot of pictures sitting around here, everybody.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
We're gonna take pictures of it. You'll see it very soon.

Speaker 6 (26:58):
The mayor of Paris, I've been the mayyor of of
mc Stuffinsville, Simon.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
I've been the mayor of a lot of things. Give good,
may I give good Mayor, you give good mayor. Yeah,
government loves that. Government loves that. That's how you move up.
That's right.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
I think the fact that both of us have done
something when Star Wars, I mean, it's everybody's dream to
be in that iconic chain or what Enfranchise and I
have off the table because I wasn't working here today.
I would say that being part of Doune part one
doing the Benet jeser At ancestors is my one of
my greatest Joys to a book that and completely off

(27:33):
Disney Napoleon Dynamite.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
To be in that movie was in Napoleon nament was
the biggest.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Thing for me, you know.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
And there's a thing where I come up and if
you notice that you're right on the show, there's like god,
there he goes. You get a lot of voice artists
on there, you don't and whilst people will realize it's
a great art and it's more it's it's acting, but
it's with our voice and we're moving our hands like
you can see I'm doing. You can tell them in
the studio a lot when I voiced for.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
Great voice acting is two words on the first one
isn't twice exactly.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
You are soach and it's it's in everything in a car,
from a cartoon to commercial, to a narrative to a voiceover,
or if it's one line, it is acting.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
You are so right.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
We have to create the whole world without a set,
without a caution, without an actor, without you know, sound
and lighting and stuff like that. So just by listening
you have to know that this character is set in
a cave or you know, on a mountain or whatever.
We have a lot to accomplish just by our voices.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Yes, anything, you guys can wish that you won't get killed.
Do you guys want whisper with each other in powow
or No? It's so funny. I'm signed. I can't talk
about this. I can't talk about this.

Speaker 6 (28:47):
Everything's pretty much on NDA at the moment, I thought
that we're in yeah, waiting to hear on.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Well, there's always The thing to know is there's always
something going on.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
We are very lucky to be able to do what
we do, and we are very lucky that people.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Seem to want us to keep doing it.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
So I think that's the best way to say it.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
You know what, And I I don't mean this in
a bad way. It's a dying breed of good voiceover artists,
especially with AI coming in. My other company, I work
at a company called tune In. They were trying to
get me to use AI for some commercials. I was
flipping out. I said, they do not read the way
I want and it has to be a voiceover artist.

Speaker 6 (29:24):
The existential problem of our time, especially in voiceovers right now.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
That's why there's a video.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
Game strike going on. Yeah, that's why everybody in the
dubbing world is very scary. Well, let me tell you something.
We're at a convention right now having this interview. If
AI does all the voices, who sits at these tables.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
And who holds the.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Well, here here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
There are some stations I don't know if you guys
know this. There are some stations in the US there
are AI DJ's already playing. Of course, dude, they're mostly
mid days because the computer automatically knows what the weather
is in the in the city, and it repeats that
and puts it into format.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
But when I got out of college, I wanted to
be a DJ.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
That's what I wanted to do.

Speaker 6 (30:11):
But when I got out of college is when all
the stations were going automated. This is pre Howard Stern.
It was post Imus, but pre Howard Stern. So I
remember I was driving to a this great radio station
in my town with an air check to go apply
to be there. The noon hour came and after the
noon hour it became an automated country station. I said, Okay,

(30:31):
I'm not doing radio the heck with this. So this
thing that AI is now doing has happened before. This
pattern has happened before. And then they discover that people
like that. Stern kind of brought it back in a way.
And I wasn't a huge fan, but damn he did
something very important.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Howard Stern is a hell of an interviewer, hell of interviews.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
No, he's not stupid.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
And and as much as women and no fans as
much in n words of its subject, as much as
women go, oh my god, I got into the pig.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
No, the man's a genius because you're talking about him.
That's all he's trying to do.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
Yeah, what he did, and that's that's what he brought
back to radios when it was threatening to go totally automated. Yeah,
stations were all being run out of some place in
Texas that was making the tapes. And I used to
work in the station where I switched the tapes out
and that's all I did.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
Yeah, And so this AI thing in terms of radio
is a version of the same thing.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
All the things change will get better.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
At least my CEO actually goes like, we want real radio,
not fake radio.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
He goes, you can't. You can't fake it. You just can't.
We don't want to robot in there.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
It's got to be human they want to talk to
a real person, as you believe, all right.

Speaker 6 (31:39):
That they had the real people and they had all
the real people calling in, but then that was all
fake because I I did some of that.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
You're giving away my secrets, man, You're giving a lot
of secrets. I'm a caller intent show. Come on, come on.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
My second cousin calls at three o'clock. No, I'm kidding.
I want to thank you too. You Amy reminisced about radio.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
I used to work at Trust here Rita Ty started too,
and here's made me think about it.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
My air checks.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Everybody's all, what the hell are air checks? And what
are cassette tapes? They're thinking about the hell. Hey, thank
you guys for joining me. So to get the best
of those who are on our SoundCloud or just go
to your nerd side. It is all right there for
you everything you need, all right, so check.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
It out now.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
Just to follow up of the story, So the Armor
War supposedly is going to be in Phase seven, but
it's a contender low priority blade so hanging limbo, I know, yeah, yeah,
it was officially delay out of phase six.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
He is that man.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Films are talking down the black Man all the time
that is messed up.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Well, Ironheart, come back to Doctor Strange three because I
remember there's a lot of magic.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Or is it Agatha? Where's Agatha? Door five?

Speaker 3 (32:46):
Or shang Chi has some magic as well too, that
may be in there. But the key thing X men
in twenty twenty eight Black Panther three, where everyone's really excited.
Who's the famous actor everyone's talking about Black Panther.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Three, Denzel Washington?

Speaker 4 (33:02):
There you go, and even maybe even the Or five.
Are you excited about another Thor movie?

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Yes? He am if what's his name doing Waki with
the Metal of the Middle. If he does it, I
love it.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
He just makes it funny about the director Director, he's
a great director. He just does things that are just
He has especially unique style. Him and James Gunn just
fantastic their music.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Oh so you're basically saying Superman's gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I'm hoping.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
I'm hoping some people are people are weird about these movies.
I'm not putting you guys down, but there's certain people
like if the underwear is not on the pants.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
It's not everyone's talking about the underwearing and the belt,
Why is there a belt.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Logo's not right.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Remember the underwhere this is based on another combook, Mom
the Ma Ma Kent is making his costumes like the original,
the combook that this is following.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
So he doesn't want her son's junk showing.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
I would my son's junk showing just right from the
window for all the neighbors put on a peep show
out there. Crazy people who are out there check a
little boy. That's why I want to put windows or
tinted you can't see it, can't see out or whatever.
I don't want people looking at my son nude. They
shouldn't look at Superman nude, even if they have X
ray vision.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
It's not right. So we're talking about Superman. Other thing
up against it is Fantastic four. They're calling it the
Superman Versus Fantastic Four season. And I don't know if
we talked about this yet or not.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
But the baby Franklin, the Baby Franklin.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Yeah, what do you think about Franklin being so powerful
and also being related to King.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
I don't know, but this has something to do with
I think it's Franklin. It's going to have to make
them leave the earth or they have to go someplace.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
No No, it's Franklin because of his energy source. That's
why Galactus was attracted to that planet to destroyed it.
So that's why that they have to leave it. Thanks
for the movie for well, I mean, you just got
to read.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
I don't want to read it.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
I'm trying to stay away from a lot of I'm
even staying away for a lot of East rags.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
For what is John Malkovich all about in this movie?

Speaker 2 (35:12):
He's the Vulture, So tell us a little bit more
Johns the original Vulture, the most Spider Man Toby McGuire movie.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
And there's supposed to be likely the mold Man's going
to be in it. That's probably beginning Walter Hauser.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
The mold Man has always been a character.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Now there's rumors that Robert Downey Junior will be in
the post credits scene as a possible cameo as Doctor Doom.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Do you think that's gonna happen?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Probably? No, yeah, probably because there's only how.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
Many you should see how many post credits are going
to be should people wait or should they not? What
about Superman? You're not gonna check if super I'm.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Going to listen. I'm seeing the premiere tomorrow as we're
recording this. We're doing the show right now.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Okay, I will find out tomorrow if there's post credit schemes,
and I'll tame. I'll tell me the next week's show,
because falling that I'm probably gonn see the next Monday.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
I'm just gonna let you know.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
James Gunn did do an interview and he did say
there are post credits scenes plural, so not just routine
set of teases like Marvel often does.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
But I'm not just watching Superman to see Superman. I
want to see the green lantern they have.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
I don't want to see Hawkman.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
I remember mister Terrific. I thought you said they were
a look.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Scared that they're gonna mess him up, and I've really
never seen miss They don't give him as terrific a
lot of chances.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
If anything, they wanted this movie to be a hit,
they should have put who should they put in it?

Speaker 3 (36:34):
I think Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Batman, Booster Gold Gold? Where
is Booster Gold being framed? I was just looking at
all your combus.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
You talk about him so much.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
We got to wrap up the show because we're running
over time.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
But uh, full recap at your nerd side Superman? Is
it worth going all that stuff like that? I have
a video me walking around the theater and see what
they're giving away and stuff for the premiere, And I'll
be wearing a.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Superman in suit.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
So are they going to be expecting a special extra
episode since you're recording this before to know if it's
good or not? Off?

Speaker 2 (37:09):
This week is a Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
That's my free day, that's my free.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Well, just know.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Also Fantastic Four, of course we'll have post credits scenes
that race our attraction for test screening leaks Fantastic Four
successfully fending off Galactus on their native retrofuturistic world. In
the aftermath, Doctor Doom appears and kidnaps Franklin Richard, setting
up a serious emotional narrative hook mad credits or earlier

(37:39):
in the credits, there's also talking about a brief scene
featuring the team preparing to travel to our escape into
Earth's six sixteen's universe ours into the Thunderboat's post credits.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Remember Thunderboats had them right there all right.

Speaker 1 (37:55):

I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
