Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the show this week. Hiatus or a vacation
we had well deserved. I think vacation. Yeah, we've been
gone for the longest time and I loved it. I
freaking loved it. All right, real fast, before we start
anything else, We've got a lot of interviews on the can.
Plus we've got Galaxy Con coming up. We got a
whole bunch of comic cons coming up. Just want to
(00:22):
let you guys know, if you can get all the
details of what the comic cons are, what's happening with it,
go to your nerd side dot com. All right, one
more thing before we do this little intro for the
show we like to do. It is so hard to
believe what is on social media or on the Internet.
Like I've been looking at the footage for the new
Tom Holland film, his new Bat Super wider Man movie,
(00:43):
and I don't know if it's AI or it's real
because I got Doomsday Too filming and most of it
looks fake. I just don't know what's real or not.
It's so hard to tell nowadays.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Except when there's a whole bunch of fans in real
life person and Tom homes actually lifting a child during
the shooting.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
No, but there's certain things where he's doing something and
I can't tell if it's real or not. Let's let's
start the show. We'll come back and then and then
on the show, we're gonna Bruce Thomas voice actor and connoisseur.
I love using connoisseur all the time. Start the show
real fast, and they would come back with your nerds
side welcome where once a year sci fi buffs take
(01:24):
their lips off the barrel of a loaded gun and
spend half a day adjusting their eyes to sunlight.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
You want to see a comic book with pregnant, I'll
be nuns.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
He's psychotic nerds.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
What a bunch of freaking nerdos.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Nerdy, I'm a nerd. I'm just.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
So.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
I'm excited about today's show because today's show was prepared
by the letter A. No it aried by Anna Maria.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
You a letter A.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
You prepped the show today. This is so good and
I like it's so professional. Print it out for me
because I'm old school. I am so old I like
things printed out now. Back in the days you used
to have photocoffee paper. They just have a xerox machine.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
The little roll one kill a lot of trees.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
These do these machines and put it through them press.
It were in grammar school and everybody's took the paper
and go and smell the paper. But you can't do
that printers nowadays. That's just sad, all right. So I
want to personally say before I get into this, there's
just so much you could talk about before we start.
Number one, I want to thank am v Is. I
wanted my popcorn buckets, and she went out above and
(02:34):
beyond the call of duty and got me my Herbie
bucket from the Fantastic four.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I'm smiling so vague and as we were on vacation
and you thought you were not gonna have any of them,
I didn't think they're.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Gonna have any of them. And I do not want
to go on line and buy them off eBay for
like three hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I just literally went where the rich and famous is
because they would not waste their money on these popcorn buckets.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Not funny.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
And then how did I get a galactus?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
No, no, but it's funny. She went, like, we went,
we're in San Diego, Del.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Rey, la Joya, la joya. Well, but we bought it
we bought it in La Joya.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Okay, So she would go to the location. We would
go someplace to go do something, and then she goes, oh,
we're driving home, can you stop this location? And then
she'd have me park outside. I'm like, okay, no, they
don't have it, and then she walks out. They don't
have it. They don't have it.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
And remember that one place we went to that was
the opposite of the rich and famous. They definitely they
didn't even have it in like never got into stop.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, it looked like a hole in the wall and
we were in it. I wasn't even inside. But it
took a few times. She got it and then she
got me the from Canada. She got me galactus from Canada.
That is amazing. So we found out within.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I think it's more amazing that we took it on
the plane.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, but it's sold out like crazy. But is here's
the thing, it's it was AMC Theater are doing these
fantastic four buckets, which you are all fantastic, and they
know they I think they do this. They only make
so many and they're like, oh they don't sell we're
not gonna make any more. Then they sell them Okay.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
They sell them online. Remember Thor's Hammer.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
They weren't going to release anymore and than they did
it because they got how many do we have in
the closet? There's like three, so Thorn is coming out
of the closet and then I think they do this
thing where they get X amount of them. They're like,
you know, we're making some money off of this because
Galactus Head the head just sold out like crazy.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I think the buckets made more money than Fantastic four.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
I think so too. I think and there are some
people that are online, these celebrities ago, I will not
buy popcorn buckets. They're too expensive. Yes, and Galactus, this
is ridiculous, and you probably look at me and you're
probably going fan taking you the stupidest purpose person in
the world. What is it? Seventy bucks for the popcorn bucket?
Almost but they throw in the popcorn, so that's a
(04:55):
given right there.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
In La Joya. When you try to give it to
some of the trend do they want the phone?
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Oh my god, so like this so you don't go
a little rich. You go to these rich towns of
these rich hoboes I call them hoboes or homeless. They go, hey,
would you like this popcorn? We'll look at it. I'm like, no,
thank you. And then it was the other day. I
was doing it again and I try to give them some.
I tried to give him some of my leftover my
(05:22):
Mexican food and they're like, ooh, yeah, it's not gluten free.
I can't do it. What kind of homeless person who's
starving has no money is gonna worry about gluten And
I know it's a big problem a lot of individuals.
I don't want to get emails on.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
This myself, but you're starving.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
You take it. And I'm like oh, And then they
literally said yes. What was the other time I try
to give out money?
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Go what?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
I was there and the guy goes, I go, hey, dude,
oh I guys twenty. He goes, oh no, no, no, no,
just give me five. And then he went in his
wallet and pulled out gave me fifteen dollars worth a change,
and he goes, no, we're good. So I was thinking
to myself, he had a lot of cash pocket, why
did he need anyway? Long story short.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Every one person makes about one hundred dollars a day.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Is San Diego. Certain parts in town where you're on vacation,
you realize the homeless for better off than we are.
All right, so we got that out of the way.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
But anyway, it seems like they are all right.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Which one did you want to cut first? Because there's
a lot of ones.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
We should do the movies, well, the movies we saw
or the movies coming up, like Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Oh no, no, we never even touched Superman, and we
never even touched Fantastic four. Okay, let's do this. Out
of the two, which one did you like better?
Speaker 2 (06:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
What about you Superman? Of course I like Superman better.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
And though you said on the podcast you were looking
forward to Fantastic.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Four, well, Fantasy four it was more of a very
serious movie. I didn't laugh that much in it that much.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
The Fantastic Fourth, but all was pretty serious except.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
For Johnny, you know, I know, because we's a Fantastic
four with the one with uh with THEE. That one
was funny. Maybe it was funny. You didn't like you,
did you?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
As Aaron Michael would say on his podcast, very motherly,
not saying that was bad? Glod South Storm finally is
not invisible in the script, but uh, it was it
was Okay, I.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Didn't see here's the thing. I wanted to see more
and this we're going to fantastic for I want to
see moreastic, mister fantastic using the laticticity, do you know
what I mean?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, we're talking. We're looking more about the emotional stress.
So we saw like everyone wanted more Ben Grimm, like
they wanted to see who he was before. You never
got a sense of that as an actor. So the
director wanted this to be definitely less than two hours.
That's why some of the villains that were in the
trailers did not show up. So would you rather have
(07:55):
the movie you had? It did have Rotten Tomatoes award
both for the critics and the fans. But people the
second week of the box office and match Superman the
first week. Yeah, second week had the lowest draw from
a second week movie than any Marvel movie ever, I
(08:16):
think ever. But it's it's it's it's about the drop, right,
the percentage. I know that Marvel's did not do good.
That still is the worst.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
That Man sequel that played the movie was all over
the place.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
That was well, I think that's the problem. It didn't
go in depth enough.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
For you still haven't answered what did you like better
Superman or Fantastic For.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
All I can say is I'm researching more about Fantastic
for right now than.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
So what did you like? I don't know, you don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I guess. I guess Superman was cheaper with the popcorn bucket.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
That's why the Superman bucket the best one was The
news is the news. They did so many the news.
I love the popcorn buckets. I like I like these
superhero collectible things, and I like looking at them, and
I like them when in the studio, and it's always
that's just me. I'm a weird guy like that. All right,
thank you so much for the popcorn buckets. I didn't
(09:16):
get to say that to you. I wanted to say
thank you so so much.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
I know you have to tell it to millions of strangers.
Go ahead, okay, but but what did you think about
Franklin Richards? Is the really first time? I don't think
you read a lot.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
I just know. I just know in different universes, one
of them, uh read Richards has to he tried, he
has to kill him somehow. That's an alternate universe. I
read that. I read that back in two thousand and
two or something like that with somebody.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
It shows the timeline there's so many yes, yes, but
not super young.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
And then there's one time, there's one timeline that Sugo
crazy because she's figuring out he's trying to kill him.
And there's a whole And I was reading this and
I was like, yeah, I mean about when flipped and
said not going to read it. This is leading me
down the story of X Men.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm not doing you know what it is? Uh? Yeah,
because he does go with the X Men. It's kind
of like, you know, you watch a movie Wonder Woman.
She never knew how how powerful she was, and maybe
that's why she became humble. Franklin from birth who saved
his mom from death, knew how strong he was because
he was even hiding his powers from his dad. All right,
(10:34):
wa wait which one did you?
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:35):
You said you like Superman?
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Like Superman? All right? You keep talking about Tom holand
we're out of it. Is he fat or something?
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I was just reading this, not as in shape.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
He's not well, he's getting older.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Remember well, his focus is on wellness, right, like you know,
like we've known before when he was doing crowded the
serious drama on Apple. He stopped drinking, which is great
for everybody, but the muscle mass. I mean, he should
have a body type similar to Deadpool, and he doesn't.
(11:10):
And that is not c g I you know, but
the spirit of Spider Man is definitely there. So now
Spider Man through the comics has not always been.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Really and and please, while you're listening to this, if
you want to weigh in, do it on social media,
just do it at your nerds. I tell us, do
you think Tom Holland's gotten fatter?
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Google it fatter, just not as as so do you
think don't you want more biceps?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
No?
Speaker 2 (11:36):
I want biceps. And everything looks like you right now,
just not It's there but not really there. I'm not.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Then why are you turned on by the red red
Guardian the guard get his suited.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
I know, I'm surprised people. There was some comments out
there that the Thunderbolts maybe should have never been met.
I didn't know if I'm saying I really liked it too.
They're like this ship they thought was the it was
unnecessary in it, and I'm like, whatever, all.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Right, well we're jumping real fast. We got to ask
you because I want to know. So is he really
high fiving fans and picking up kids.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
And the people are seeing Punisher in there? There's all
the speculation about.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
And the Hulk's in it, right, Yes? Okay. The only
reason I found out about that yesterday was I had
to go. It was Sunday, No Saturday. Found out we
had to do the Sharks Bear recruita fan appreciation day,
and I was sitting down with some fans. They are like,
are you excited about a new Spider Man. It's got
Punisher Ago, I know that and the Hulk, And I
was like, that's right. So I turned my head and
(12:43):
I'm like, I didn't know this. Should I say anything? No?
And I was promoting the show like, oh, we're waiting
for you to come back for vacationally hear it?
Speaker 3 (12:51):
They really do?
Speaker 1 (12:52):
No?
Speaker 2 (12:52):
No, So Mark Ruffalo is playing Savage Hulk and Bruce Banner.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
But I guess, and he's losing it. He is losing his.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Intelligence, not smart home.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
So I was trying to smart Hulk. I do I do?
So I was trying to tell him at the table
because they heat They told me.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
That they were telling about what the third one?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
And I wait, real fast, I told him, I said,
you know, we had the movie coming out, Secret Wars. Yeah,
I said, I don't know if it's Secret Wars. It
came out in two thousand and two or three, I
mean twenty twelve.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
This is based on the two thousand and eight Day.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Not the one with the Beyonder. I was trying to
explain about to Day. I was explained movie. I was
explaining about the Beyonder and I said, if it's beyond Her,
they drop a whole mountain on the event the good
side of the people fighting each other if you follow
the Secret Wars original and I said, the Hulk was
turned stupid just during Secret Wars. And they don't know
why did you.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Know that Chris Evans was supposed to be the end
credit of Fantastic four, but because it was too long,
they put Doomsday instead.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
What was supposed to be the too.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Warn Fantastic for the Doomsday's coming back, and the theory
is the reason why I do Mosday had his mask off.
Frank and Richards repairs his face because who doesn't want
to look at Robert Towney Junior's face and he just
want to do with makeup all the time. But okay,
so is.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
He the Beyond? So is he the beyond? Because that's
what the Beyond happened? Ahead?
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Wait, so who's the third big MCU cameo.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Oh for the the New Spider Man. Let me think,
uh shoot, let me hinted many times in the movie.
Not doctor Strange, you've seen it.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Think back, I think Michael.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Keaton Batman, Like, oh, the other Michael Keton. I'm so sorry,
mister mom.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
No, the other one, the vulture, scorpion scor not the
one from them, Yes, from that.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Actually that's a different alternate universe.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
That's been confirmed in so many different sights. All right,
there's a lot of why is his buddies? MJ's coming
back not significant? The thing is is that she's on
set when Peter Parker is at the cemetery visiting Aunt may.
So how are they in the cemetery? Do they know
each other? Is he just there? Is she there just
as his wife? And also Jacob aka ned is coming
(15:19):
back as well too as returning leads.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
All right, so real fast, because it's right below in
or out of shape? So Kevin fig casting and budget strategy,
is this true? He's cutting back?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Well, this is not immedia and Marvel six, but going
down the road of six or seven, they're thinking about
having cast members that are not big names like Chris Evans,
Michael Keaton, Tom Holland and why well, we fantastic for
making less than half a billion dollars. You think that's
plenty of money. Not for these studios. So now they
(15:52):
want to have a cheaper cast so they have bigger
bucks because non Marvel fans are not going to the movie,
do you.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah, you said that. It's just but here's the thing
they've done. The advertisement was way more than Superman. So
oh y, they spent more, as seem as they spent
more on advertisement than they did in even making the movie.
Because it was like commercial commercial commercial the car down
the street, No, the pizza High, No Pizza Hight. It
(16:24):
was Papa no, Papa John's, Little Caesars. It was this, this, this, this, this,
I mean, I saw commercials everywhere. Superman the same thing.
Commercial's commercial commercials.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
You enjoy it, though.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
The pizza No, I don't like Little Caesars. It tastes
like cardboard.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Trailer. So for Fantastic four, they pretty much gave the
movie away. Superman almost the same, and that's why I.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Kind of like, no, no, no, I no knowing. And
this is if you haven't seen Superman too bad? Who
were hurting it for you? I I love the way
and I never know how it came across. Like Superman's
parents were like, take over the planet, rule it. That
was kind of cool. I like the way they different
it did a different feel, and I love the way
his superhol comes in and calls him bitch because that's
(17:12):
how my cousins really are to me, and when they party,
you know, that's just how they are.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
So here's the budget. Who do you think one who
dded the more?
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Fantastic four?
Speaker 2 (17:24):
No, it was Superman was two hundred and twenty five million,
and fantastic for two Man, so two hundred million to
make the movie two undred million for budget four hundred million.
That means the studio made thirty five million. Studio wants
a lot more, especially with these tariffs because most of
these films are filmed in Canada.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oof, there's terrarits on it. Kryptonite is gonna be hard
to come by. They have to pay that extra tariff.
What's his name? Our president is going to talk to Krypton.
We're gonna have to lower that. So and then I
noticed below it's his Will Spider Man brand New Day
top one billion? No, it will not.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Yeah, some people are hoping that it will be. It's
releasing July thirty first, twenty twenty six, so many believe
this is the movie before Doomsday. So the question is,
will Robert Downey Junior have a cameo in New Day?
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Do you like? I like him when he's with him.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
I love it, But that's not the same that's not
the same guy right in the universe.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Well, you tell star Lord that he wouldn't care. Still
wanted to get in Zoe's pants no matter what.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
So here's my question. Did you like the shang Chi movie?
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Loved it?
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Okay, that's going to be the same director for New Day.
And Kevin Faggy said, you know what, just do cgi
on Spider Man. Everyone prefers it better. They don't like
him when it was real life. Do you think he
listened to Kevin? Yes or no?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
No?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
No?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
So that's where they saw Spider Man in, just dangling
in the middle of the streets of New York because
they're not cgieing yet, all right, A little bit?
Speaker 3 (18:57):
All right?
Speaker 1 (18:58):
I love all these conversations. Go quick in because I
promise I get this on. Uh quick interview will be
in and back and then we're gonna be talking more
about well, zombies, we'll get into this. Bruce Thomas actor,
had a chance to talk to him at a comic con. Now,
if you want to get more of our interviews, all
you got to do is go to our SoundCloud. It's
always at our website and you can catch past the interviews.
(19:19):
All right, quick interview, come right back. I want to
talk about zombies. So I'm excited about this. Has been
waiting for this for lever and more of what you're doing,
a good job about it. I love you. So you
know what I'm honored about is that thank you for that.
You're with sled Works.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Great company.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
You signed with Sledworks. How long have you been with them?
Speaker 3 (19:35):
I did? I signed with him? When was it?
Speaker 1 (19:38):
I guess it was.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
I guess it was probably a year and a half ago.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
And there be a lot of shows. Yeah, they're a
great company to work with. And uh, we're gonna cut
this out. That's my wife is okay, she's just taking
pictures of me.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Going the INNFA Okay, absolutely so.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Motion capture that that is your big claim to fame
right now, right?
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yeah, for these conventions, it certainly is.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
What how does one get into motion caption capture?
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yeah, I was in a bar.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Is this a joke?
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (20:08):
I want to make sure what he walks into a bar?
Speaker 3 (20:10):
I was actually standing in a bar.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
It was a tiki bar in North in North Hollywood
in LA. And this gentleman started talking to me. He
knew me from on camera, and he said, what are
you doing these days? And I said, We'll tell you
the truth. I'm getting into voiceover. Yeah, I'll make the story.
I'll wrapped up the story, but the long story shortage.
He said, that's what I do. I direct video games. Yeah,
and so he said, I have something for you coming
(20:32):
up in the summer. He gave me his card. A
few months went by, I sent in an audio tape
of the audition. But then months later went by, and
then I finally went to three four to three studios
for Halo. I found out it was Halo. It was huge,
which was the biggest thing he could initially get into,
right like your very first job in motion capture. Uh,
(20:54):
And they were and it just so happened they were
they had never done motion capture with Chief before and
so they were just starting it and got the job
out of like twenty five people that day after it
was narrowed down to that.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
And is it because your bill the way you are?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I don't know they you know, Jamie is the voice director.
Jamie Mortalaro is the one who yeah, quote unquote discovered
me that day and he said he knew from the
second he started talking to me, I thought I was Chief.
And he told everybody at three four three and they
were like, no, We're going to go through the audition process.
And then the last day came and they said, is
this the guy that Jamie always wanted? Yeah, Jamie, he said,
(21:26):
since you know before we even read him.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
So wow.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Anyway, I don't know what it was exactly to answer
your question specaisically, but.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
You're not on that side of the table where you
can see what they're picking, right. I'm just curious because
a lot of people want to know, like, how did
you get into it? What do you wanna do? Because
everybody comes up and they go, you know what you
did this voice over? How do I get into voice acting? Hey,
you were in this movie legally blonde, Right, how do
you do it? And then I've had a few people
wondering because I said I'm gonna come out here interview
on the air, and they're like, well, ask how they
(21:53):
get into that. But now we know that we got
to tell all the kids they're graduating college, they need
to go to a tiki bar and needs some one,
and I'll hand up hard If that's how it works,
I found out, Now that's great.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Well that's that's gonna get me in hot water. But
we all know it's great in that in my case,
that's the way it happened.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, okay, So tell me about this Army of Darkness
League one. How did that stuff? How did that all
fell on your laugh?
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Army of Darkness was the first film I did in
Los Angeles, MO. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
I had done theater and commercials and soaps in New York,
but it was the first thing that I did in
Los Angeles. I went in to meet Sam Raimi, who
directed it. I just happened to look a lot like
Bruce Campbell. I had the same similar features and they
were like, holy crap. So they put a little lead.
They put a prost thesis on my chin to make
it wider and my nose to be a little bit
(22:42):
jointier like Bruce's. And we were good to go. And
Sam would sit back there in his megaphone, in his
directing chair, and he would yell out for all of
us to do these He said, watch this, I'm gonna
make him do some crazy stuff. And so we would
start jumping up. He said, act like a monkey, and
so we'd start jumping up and down, and he said,
these guys are all idiots. I can ask, I can
do whatever I want to.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
That's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
And that's how much fun it was to work on that.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Wow, Wow about So what are you working? Oh no, no,
before we go any farther, need your social media handle.
Everyone to know that.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
What's your social media Instagram it's m r period Bruce Thomas,
So mister Bruce Thomas, okay, and then Twitter and Twitter
is real r eg L Bruce Thomas, the real one. Okay.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
So everybody's doing this all my interviews today.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Are you on threads yet now? But we're talking about it.
I was talking to Steve Downs about it.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yes, it's so easy. All you do is copy until
you want to do it from Instagram and it shoots
everything over there.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, because's under the same umbrella. But it's just amazing
how fast it is. Yeah, followers, what are you working
on right now? What do you got?
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I've got well, one huge game and none of this
I can talk about. But I've got a huge game
going up, in two big games that I've started. I
just wrapped up a feature film.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
We can't talk about that where.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
I get to play Let's say I get to I
get to play a cowboy. It's okay, it's a ranch film.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
This isn't an Alec Baldwin film, is it.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
No, it's at Christmas Western.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
I got to say that. Too soon for that one,
Too soon for that. Hey. And then, so you're celeb works.
What's the next place you're gonna be going next?
Speaker 3 (24:14):
I'll be in Phoenix in August. You get a lot
of these huh, well, hey, not really a handful of year.
You like them? I love them?
Speaker 1 (24:21):
So what is one of the weirdest things and the
best things? These fans come up to you and say?
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Uh, Well, you know, I don't ever want to characterize
them as weird because they're all They come from such
a loving place. I mean, I love doing conventions because
people are so sweet.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
You are the best salesman in the world. I love that.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
I'm saying, I love them all, and they have.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
You signed the most obscure things though, huh.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
All right, yeah, I was just telling Danny yesterday. I've
had some body parts that I've had to sign that
I probably shouldn't say here.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
But sometimes it's not a bad thing. They're not.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
It's not.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
I've had this.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
I signed a six year old's forehead his mother.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Are you happy? Gilmore?
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Right? I said, are you kidding me? This is a
permanent marker. She says, I know, but he's a fan.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
She and they paid for it, right.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
I almost wanted to, you know, report the mom.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
That's okay, that's it. I appreciate it. Hey gy so much.
Let me hang out with you again. Social media handle
one more time. I want ever to get it.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Mr Period Bruce Thomas mister Bruce Thomas on Instagram and
ore ee l Bruce Thomas on Twitter.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Like I said, all interviews always on our SoundCloud if
you want to check them out. All right, Zombie Zombie
Zombie Zombies. I love this. Marvel Zombies has finally arrived.
And you know what makes me. Upset is they did
the com books for a little while and they completely stopped.
I don't know why, and I no, I asked at
the com book store. I asked him, said, was it big?
Goes cultural Big? He goes, but they only do limited
(25:40):
series now because I did the Remember I was all
into the Marvel team up, the you know Marvel team up.
They were doing that and they were doing the wet ifs,
but the bad side they brought it back. And then
he goes, yeah, they only do it for a little
while now. And I go, why they didn't do that
back in the eighties. He goes, that was the eighties.
Now it's twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Are you excited in October? So Extince said, you have
to work for the Barracuda. That's good thing. October third,
twenty twenty five is when the Marvel Zombies will be
coming back.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
And I pray that it's week by week again, they
aren't launching them all at one time.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
So if you miss it, go to Disney Plus on
what If episode and look for the episode what If
Zombies and it's following up from there.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
I loved it. I remember, that's like one of my
most favorite what ifs ever? And it was just so
I'm assuming we're catching up where he's going to Wakanda.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
I don't know, but you're not going to like this news.
Guess who's the writer. Zeb Wells is also known for
writing two of your least favorite Marvel.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Things, Hold On, Stop Shop at the One, I hate
that movie you just talked about.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
One is a movie and one is the Disney Plus show.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
I don't know why the Marvels that's where?
Speaker 2 (26:55):
And Women Power She Hulk she Hope was why.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Are they having him do it? She Hope was so
bad when they had her break the fourth wall. The
fourth wall just didn't work. And I really because I
was falling storylines. And but you know what, you know
why I think they were doing that. They were trying
to get those non Marvel people to watch.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Maybe so shang Chi's coming back for this Red Guardian Yes,
Wanda ooh ooh right? And then also Katie, who's gonna
be Waka FINA's voice.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
In this Marvel Zombies?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:29):
And iron Heart up?
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Sorry quick, iron Heart's gonna be there. Kamala can Jimmy
Woo Hawkey in Zombie's form and Blade Knight and Thanos
and of course Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
And here's the thing I'm still waiting on Wonder Man.
I thought it was gonna be earlier. I didn't know
it was coming out in December. Oh yeah, and I please,
I pray to god they don't ruin this wonder Man.
That's one of my favorite characters.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Talk about taking the guy from shang Chi, Right, who's
the comedy? Right? He won an oscar from for Gandhi.
Do you remember his name?
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Gandhi? Yeah, Gandhi. That I remember his name.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
The actor played Gandhi.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
No, I know who you're talking about. I forgot his name,
but I know you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
All right, we'll let him tease it for a while.
But yeah, it's going to be eight episodes of mini
series starring in Disney. It's part of Marvel Phase six.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
All right, So I'm looking at other anticipated projects coming up.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
By the way, it's Ben Kingsley.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Ben Kingsley. Yes, X Men Beginnings, really X Men Beginnings.
And they put Blade down here. I thought Blade got
acted finally.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
They I think the word is on hold. She gets
But I'm surprised you have not watched I of what coanda,
which is out right now on suspension. Is that why
you're peeling for bathing?
Speaker 1 (28:59):
For I I needed that so bad a vacation I
didn't realize, and just to sleep and I've actually done
so you should thank me. I never do something I've
been doing lately, and I forced myself. If you notice
I stay in bed later.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Wouldn't you say if you don't have twelve hours of sleep,
you're a mass or eighteen.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
I gotta look good for the ladies need twelve hours asleep. Shabam, dude, shabam.
So yes, you have to watch Isaaconda. I see this
ninety one percent tomato score. Woof. We'll watch it. I
just haven't had time to do it. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
So X Men Beginnings is a phase of offense referred
to Marvel's broader plan to reintroduce X Men into MCU.
So remember Avenger Doomsday x Men Here we come with
Patrick Stewar as Professor x Mystique. Beast Nightcrawler, Yes, the
original one, Magneto, Yes, he's coming back, the original one.
(29:58):
Yeah wow dude. Yeah, Beast is the original one as
well too.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
So it's really Fraziers back. Huh.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah. So a lot of the actors from Martin coming.
He described return to the Row as a homecome with
the hints at the multiverse we used to explain Cox's
return from his previous death in X Men the Last End,
So that means Cyclops, you live again. Jesus, I know
he's gorgeous.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
So all right, we'll see. I'm excited about Doomsday and
I will say this, and I am so glad that
Marvel and Disney are not doing movies like pop do
that for a while.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
That's why they introduced Doomsday in Fantastic Four versus Chris
Evans because it's a year at a time when movie,
especially because they have to figure out Kevin Faigy said
it's his fault. Fantastic four did not do as big
as it was going to.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
And why why do you say?
Speaker 2 (30:54):
He says that he's not attracting the non Marvel audience.
The doting on show are going. But have you heard? Okay,
love our family. They're amazing, but our are not our
media family. But beyond that, are they going to the movies?
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Well, here's the deal. I'm glad you said this, So
try one of one of my if not my best friend,
never read a comic book. We'll go to superheroed feelings.
When once agre a while he asked me Superman worth
going I said, yeah, it's fantastic He got out and said, dude,
that was horrible.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Dude, I agree, he's just not a for a non
comic version.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
But I said, I said, I just saw Fantasy four.
Yeah he didn't. I go, Fantastic four was good too,
and he goes, yeah, I'm not going on.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Michael from sake of Mom and Me show did not
like it.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Not like it.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
By the way, it's our son. Excuse me, man with
the ladies.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
My son, it's my son.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
All right.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
I'm sizing up new Monster him right at the moment. Okay,
I'm kidding. It's a joke. She's looking at me. Please
put the knife down. Please. This is how you can
do video. You can make anything off searching, all right.
If you need to get in touch with this, you've
got comments and stuff. You said, no, this movie sucked,
(32:15):
it was great. Whatever. You want to share your popcorn buckets,
I'm looking at them right now my studio, and do
it on social video. That at at your nerd side
when we're doing Facebook youtwe oh yeah, YouTube thing on Instagram?
And then what's that, and then I'm going to Uh,
there's things sitting here that needs to be opened up,
(32:36):
more toys to be opened.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Please start to play complaints to him. He needs more
short reels. He doesn't have any time, you know. His
producer says, come on, chopped up.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
CHOP's the deal. I have to film it, put it together,
edit it down, and then I'll get her to loaded
up and then all of a sudden, I got something
else to do. It's a lot of work, all right.
Next week we'll be talking you soon. And don't forget
if you are in the area Galaxy Con, we will
be there. I'm only going to be there the fifteenth
and sixteenth. Come By the fifteenth, I'll be filming with
the Santelsy Sharks and Bearracuda. The sixteenth will be filming
(33:10):
with the your nerds. I will be filming that day
interviews and stuff. But and I will not be doing
any panels. That is happening next year. I just don't
have I can't be there all day long. That's the problem.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
We have a lot of videos too, from the last
Stompton Con.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
I haven't got to that.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Gott to say thank you to Ross.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Oh, Ross did a good time. Oh, he's coming out.
He's gonna hold the cameras and stuff.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
