Ms. Benjamin has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling both from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Received her Clinical License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certification as a National Counselor (NCC) in the state of Virginia. She specializes in counseling children, adolescents, and young adults with behavior, academic, self-esteem, coping, communication, bereavement, eating, and anger issues. She also counsels’ adults, couples, and the elderly with spiritual, bereavement, communication, family, relationship, depression, self-esteem, body image, and anxiety concerns.
Jodie Hansohn is a wife and a mother. Married for 18 years and her son is 17 years old and “she is Bipolar”. But it does not have her. Through many years of counseling, she learned to manage and succeed with the illness. From 2011 to 2020 she went to therapy and learned to thrive with her counselor, Ms. Annetta Benjamin, MA, LPC, NCC. Now she coaches with Ms. Benjamin to help bring awareness to clients and mental health professionals; of how to succeed with the Bipolar Illness.
