In an age where every scroll delivers a "word," discernment isn’t optional—it’s survival. In this episode of Faith Hacked, we expose the growing flood of algorithm-driven "prophetic" content and challenge believers to stop outsourcing their discernment to social media platforms. Not every emotional moment is a confirmation.

Not every trending "prophecy" is Kingdom truth. This conversation calls you back to biblical testing, Spirit-led discernment, and the maturity to know the difference between God's voice and viral hype. Before you repost it, react to it, or build your next season around it—ask yourself: Did God actually say it, or did TikTok? Listen now and sharpen your hearing for real Kingdom clarity. Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to another episode of Zion's Voice. We're doing
a series unfaith Hacked. This is episode two of that
where we are not settling for soundbites and vibes. So
today's episode is a necessary confrontation. We are drowning in

(00:37):
voices post prophetic words, but how much of it is
actually coming from the spirit of God. Let's be real.
Just because it feels spiritual, it doesn't mean it's from
the spirit of God. It might be from a spirit,
but not his spirit. And just because someone says God

(00:58):
told me to tell you it, does that mean God
had anything to do with it. Today we ask the
real questions, Did God tell you that? Or did TikTok?
Let's go. Every time we open our phones, someone's releasing

(01:18):
a word, someone is confirming your season, someone is activating
your breakthrough. I mean, it is endless. There's so much
of it that I can't keep up. I too like
to sign up for like free things, especially if it's
like beneficial to content, you know, how to become a

(01:41):
better content creator or whatever whatnot. I gotta be honest,
I barely get to them because there's so much. And
I wish I had that all the time in the
world for all of them, but I can only catch
the ones that really hold profound wisdom, right, so and information,

(02:05):
let's not forget that, like it's got to be good
and worth the time to sit and listen. Or maybe
the ones that have a replay those are great too,
but I can't. I can't get them all. And there's
a lot going on because the platform is full of people.
But here's the real problem. Real prophetic words aren't trend based, right.

(02:31):
God isn't operating on tiktoks for you page you just right.
We know that. And prophetic release is tied to Kingdom assignment,
not just my content calendars. And that's the truth. First
John chapter four, Verse one, Beloved, do not believe every spirit,

(02:52):
but test the spirits whether they are of God, because
many false prophets have gone out into the world. And
that's the truth. Testing is not being judgmental. Testing is
biblical intelligence. Signs you're digesting algorithm prophecy instead of spirit

(03:15):
led prophecy number one, a feel good affirmation with no
biblical anchor. We get it. We get that a lot.
We get a lot of people starting off with a
feel good affirmation and then can't even back it up
with any scripture. Too emotional manipulation masks as revelation. I

(03:40):
just that's that one just irks me, you know, And
this is not just the media, but it's also happening
in the churches where it's like I don't need to
be emostly manipulated. I need the Word. I need a
revelation of the Word, and don't start off with just
one scripture and then go off on a tantrum and

(04:01):
never come back to the scripture. That's another thing that
gets me, Like, we need people of the Word that
are sitting and eating again and delivering revelation from heaven,
not from the culture. Three words that center your ego

(04:21):
instead of your obedience. I'm so glad that's kind of
dying out. And I say dying out. People are catching on.
We're just we're just not gravitating to that. It doesn't
it doesn't draw us in because there's nothing anointed about it. So,
you know, if people anyone listening and you're doing that,

(04:44):
just know that people aren't really responding to it. If
it's only feeding your hype and you're not bringing a
challenge to my holiness. And when I say holiness, holiness
mean making me whole. It didn't come or should I

(05:05):
say we should question whether it's coming from the spirit
of God. I want to question it because I don't
know people's motives until I know them, and I just
want to be clear. God's prophetic word often correct before
it confirms. It often prunes before it can promote. So

(05:25):
if it's always what you want to hear and never
what you need to hear, we got to start questioning
the source. Okay, we need to know how to test
the spirit in this digital age. We need to know that.
How do we test this? Well, let's go to the
number one filter. You know, script, your first. God's voice

(05:51):
never contradicts his word. If it can't survive a biblical check,
it doesn't deserve an amen. Stop amening everything. Be careful
what you bring yourself into an agreement with, because you'll
be bound to it. The power of an amen is powerful.
It'll bring you right under that person whatever they're doing,

(06:13):
and whatever they're under it'll bring you right in that,
so be careful with your amens. Two that's food check.
Can I check your apples? Make sure there's no brown spots.
Look at the life and not just the lingo. Everybody's
got a slogan. Now through chapter seven sixteen, you will

(06:34):
know them by their fruits. Food check, guys. Three spirit
of the message? Does it come by too toward obedience
or inflate your entitlements? What? Then? Titlement's spirit is so rampant.

(06:55):
That's so annoying too. It's like, why you just feel
like you're just so entitled? And we got to thank
people for their messages of entitlement. You deserve it, Okay.
The Holy Spirit's voice always leads to repentance, not rebellion.
Remember that for accountability, real prophets submit their lives to

(07:19):
covering and correction. All people hate the work covering. I
don't need to answer nobody. I answer to God. And
that's why you're in a hot mess with your perception.
If you don't think we were created for community, then
you don't know that parts of Genesis. There is a

(07:40):
four step process that got created in Genesis which brings
the order of covering into our lives and accountability. So
this like lone rangers without accountability, they're just dangerous. They're
not annoying it. That is dangerous to follow people who
don't have accountability because then you don't know who's checking them.

(08:06):
I'm just saying five confirmation through prayer before you repost it,
pray about it before you shot over it. Let's sit
with it, because there's a lot of things that I
had to go back and take off my page. For example,

(08:28):
we're in a rampant of well God took them out
of your life or reason and it might be x
y Z. Here's the thing, nobody knows the story. Nobody
knows their story, and I don't like telling people I'm
post just consider their blessing without knowing the story, because

(08:49):
people will start blessing something that they messed up that
they're now not going to take accountability for because they
don't feel like they have to because God didn't know
you in some way, may have been operating immaturely and
have caused pain in her in someone's life, and now
you won't take accountability for it because somebody posted it

(09:11):
posta said it was okay for them to walk away. Mmmm.
We don't have to do a little better than that.
We just can't go around saying these things because people
people will take it, run with it and not hold
themselves accountable to any of it. Proverbs fourteen fifteen. The

(09:34):
simple believer. The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers,
well his steps be wise, be wise, and what you're posting,
and what you're sharing, what you're yeah, what you're shouting.
Amen too. We don't just need people who are full
of passion believers, obviously, we need prudent once. We need

(09:57):
wise people. So let's reflect on asking ourselves this question,
what voices have I been letting influence my spirit lately?
You know, when God took me through this process of
eliminating voices, he made it clear like I'm gonna need
you to pick one. I'm gonna let you have two,

(10:20):
but that's as far as you're gonna go and make
sure you're wise and who you're choosing to be in
your ear and teaching you. And it was like wow,
And it was right before. It wasn't the COVID time,
because that's when everybody started hitting the platform of media.
They realized, oh, we gotta we gotta still shine somewhere.
If they're gonna shut down the church and we can't utilize,

(10:41):
we gotta go somewhere. And that was a moment for
people to actually do a hard check, especially leaders, check yourself.
Where's your heart at? Is it with me? Or are
you still trying to do you know, ministry your ministry.
So that was the time where the Lord was like,
I need you to like not do that. I need
you to find one or two and call it a day.

(11:01):
And now I'm down to just too and I haven't
moved out of it. I can't find If I if
I find somebody who I know is in the Lord,
then that's great. I love to lean on that. But
if I can't, I just won't. I just won't. So
I got two people that I listen to, and that's
it because I trust the word their delivery of the word.

(11:25):
So what do you do when you're like lost in
this noise? I don't know, when you're overwhelmed and kind
of chasing every word. I would go on to prophetic
fast number one, Oh my goodness, takes seven days. I
refuse to listen to anyone else's word for real, Like

(11:47):
there's nothing wrong with that. Stop it, just stop all
of it and just sit with God. Take seven days
and just be with him. I'm trying. I trust me.
It's gonna be hard for you to come back once
you start doing this. Yeah, just sit with his word
said with God, pray, listen, study, right, be with him.
I mean that's the real true disciple way. It's the

(12:09):
sonship right there. Just want to be with God and
then you know we join community for you know, for
the unity part to be one another. But you should
have a spiritual muscle memory, you know, train your ear
to hear the shepherd, not not just the scroll. I
want to hear that. You want to know the Father's
voice John ten twenty seven. You know my sheep. They

(12:32):
hear my voice and I know them. Wow. People always
seem to forget that, and I know them and they
follow me following. You know, viral voices can leave you
like spiritually scattered in different places following Jesus. Yeah, that

(12:58):
builds foundation. That know, algorithm can shake. It's not enough
to sound spiritual, and it's not enough to feel stirred.
If the prophetic doesn't root you in deeper in Christ,
then it's got to be a counterfeit somewhere. The kingdom
needs voices who are not just an echo to the noise,

(13:20):
but a profound discernment of truth. That's what we need.
We need some discernment, you know, some discernment, some fear
the lower back, because that's what's going to bring the
wisdom this week. Check your intake, test the word, every
word you're getting way every revelation, grow in wisdom and

(13:45):
not just an emotional reaction. There is a bonus download.
It's called the Descernment Download. It's a five day devotional
creator to sharpen the spirit in this noisy world. And yeah,
you can find that in the link of our show notes.
And let me pray, Holy Spirit, we love you. We

(14:11):
invite you to help us start in our hearing. Help
us expose every counterfeit that we encounter in our journey
with Christ. Strengthen our discernment. Help us to strengthen that
discernment and our wisdom and lead us back to the

(14:35):
voice that still speaks to the Word. We don't want
to be entertained, we want to be rooted and established
in Christ. And we bless this prayer in Jesus name. Amen,
So thank you for tuning into Faith Hacked Episode two.

(14:57):
Stay rooted, Stay discerned, Stay unshakable, don't forget to subscribe,
don't forget to share, and come on in and leave
a review. We love to hear from you and know
if this podcast is you know, helping you. Zion's Voice

(15:18):
is a place where conviction. Conviction speaks louder than our
culture until the next time.
