Speaker 1 (01:12):
Well, it's always a good place to start with the foundation.
Foundation is everything, So how we stand what is Heaven's
economy and how does it differ from the earthly systems
we navigate every day? While in Matthew chapter six thirty three,
Jesus tells us to seek first the Kingdom and his righteousness,
(01:34):
and all these things will be given to you as well.
That Greek word for the kingdom here is basilaya, which
refers to the reign and the rule of God. It's
not about material wealth, but about aligning ourselves with the
authority and the order of Heaven. Unlike the earthly economy,
(01:58):
which operates on scarcity, competition, and fear, Heaven's economy is
rooted in abundance, trust, and generosity. You know, God's kingdom
operates on the principle of el Shadai. That's his Hebrew
name that means all sufficient one. This is just reminding
(02:21):
us that God's provision is unlimited, overflowing, and perfectly sufficient
for all our needs. One of the foundational scriptures about
trusting God's provision is Malachi three ten. Bring the whole
tie into the storehouse, that there may be food in
(02:44):
my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty,
And see if I have not thrown open the floodgates
of heaven and poured out so much blessing that there
will not be room enough to story. The Hebrew word
for floodgates here is a ruba, meaning windows or openings.
(03:08):
This paints that picture of Heaven being open wide to
pour out the blessings. But notice that the condition this
promise is tied to the obedience, specifically through tithing and
trust in God. With what we have in Heaven's economy,
provision follows faith and obedience. This is radically different from
(03:33):
the earthly mindset that says you must hoard or control
to feel secure. God's system is built on faith, stewardship,
and not fear. To align with Heaven's economy, we must
have to break free from the limitations of earthly systems.
How can we do that well, We have to first
(03:54):
recognize that God is our source. Philippines, chapter four to
nineteen reminds us that and My God will meet all
your needs according to the riches of His glory in
Christ Jesus. The Greek word for needs here is krea,
meaning the necessities or essentials. God promises to provide not
(04:19):
just what we want, but everything we truly need. When
you feel anxious about provision. We have to declare that
this is the truth over our life, that God is
our source and he will supply all our needs. We
have to come to the understanding of the principle of
the seed and the harvest. In Second Corinthians, chapter ninety six,
(04:42):
Paul says, whoever's souls sporadically will reap sporadically, but whoever
souls generously will reap generously. The Greek word for soul
here is spare spedal, meaning to scatter or plants. This
(05:02):
is highlighting that generosity is not just an action, it's
a kingdom principle that produces multiplication. We have to ask
God where he wants us to sow the whether it's
our finances or time, or resources like skills or talents
that we have. We have to trust that our obedience
will lead to a harvest. Generosity is like a homemark
(05:26):
of Heaven's economy. Proverbs eleven twenty five says that a
generous person will prosper. Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
You know. The Hebrew word for this reward, refresh means dushing,
which implies thriving or flourishing. As a result of overflowing blessing.
(05:49):
Look for opportunities to bless others even when it feels
like you don't have much to give. Heaven's economy isn't
about how much you have, It's about the condition of
your heart. In Heaven's economy. Stewardship plays that crucial role
in chapter in Luke, chapter sixteen ten. It's reminding us
(06:10):
whoever can be trusted with the very little can also
be trusted with much. The Greek word for trusted is pistols,
meaning faithful or reliable. God's looking for people who will
manage his blessings with wisdom. So let's look at three
(06:30):
keys that are good stewardships of wisdom. One budgeting with
a purpose. Create a plan for how you will allocate
the resources God has entrusted you with. Remember that every
dollar is an opportunity to glorify him. Number two avoiding
depth as a lifestyle. Provers twenty two to seven warns
(06:50):
us the borrow is a slave to the lender. The
Hebrew word for slave is abed, meaning servant or so subordinate.
Staying out of unnecessary depth keeps you free to follow
God's leading. Number three investing in internal things. Matthew six
(07:11):
nineteen twenty tells us the store of treasures in heaven
and not on earth. What does this look like? Investing
in people, investing in the kingdom work, and investing in
spreading the gospel. Let's bring this all together. Living in
Heaven's economy requires us to trust God as our source,
(07:32):
walking in faith, and in generosity as stewarding your resources wisely.
So when we begin to align with these principles, we
are no longer bound by the limitations of earthly systems. Instead,
we tap into the abundance of Heaven. Think of the
feeding of the five thousand, John six. Jesus took like
(07:54):
what seemed like it was not enough, but he took
the five foot five loves and the two fish and
multified it to meet the needs of thousands. That's Heaven's
economy at work. God takes what we have and he
makes more than enough. So I thank you for joining
