Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jesus gave us a really chilling prophecy about the last days,
and Matthew twenty four thirty seventy stated, as it was
in the days of Noah, so also will the coming
of the man be This statement seems pretty strong. I mean,
he didn't just say there would be trouble. He said
(00:22):
the time before his return would mirror the days of Noah.
So the question is what were the days of Noah like.
Welcome to Zion's Voice podcast, where we are bringing clarity
to biblical truths for today. In this episode, we're exploring
(00:45):
one of the most sobering endtime's prophecy, the days of Noah.
The Bible states that when Jesus returns, it would mirror
the days of Noah. So the question is what does
that look like. That's a good question if you ask me,
so let's jump right into it.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
You know, Jesus warns that the last days will reflect
the time of Noah, where it was filled with rebellion, distraction,
and the sudden judgment. Today's scriptures, we're going to be
using Matthew twenty four, verse thirty seven to thirty nine
and Genesis chapter six five to thirteen Matthew twenty four
(01:46):
to thirty seven. As it was in the days of Noah,
So also will the coming of the sun be Jesus
was pointed to Noah's generation. And if you look at
the history of the time of what was happening in
Noah's generation, there was so much wickedness, so much evil.
(02:10):
I mean, I'm gonna be a little bit vague here
so that you get the picture. But it was as
if walking down the road while someone was drastically being
sexually assaulted, as if nothing was going on. And that's
where the state of the hearts were at that time.
(02:33):
It was so evil, so impure that the people became
accustom to that heart condition. And so you know, Noah's generation,
it's actually a prophetic picture of the world what it
would look like before Jesus returns. That means if we
(02:55):
want to understand the last days, we gotta understand the
days of Noah. What are the questions that I considered
when I thought about this was what made Noah's generation
so dangerous, you know, like, are we witnessing those signs now?
(03:16):
And how should we as a believer prepare for these days? Well,
in Genesis chapter six, five to thirteen, it says, and
I'm going off of verse five, every intent of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. You know,
(03:37):
sin wasn't occasional as I stated before, It was a default.
It was the way the people were walking in a
defaulted frame of mind, where it just was in every
part of the society was just so deeply corrupted. I mean,
(03:57):
can you imagine living in a world so dark and
you're so full of the light, the desperation for a
healthy glass of water from the company we keep would
be rare. The earth was corrupted before God. It was
(04:21):
filled with violence. Genesis sixty eleven states this is that
lawlessness ruled at that time, and people had abandoned what
was righteous, and they wanted Kyle's They want it injustice,
and they want it rebellion. It's almost like when I
(04:43):
read this and studied it out, I just can literally
point out some things even now in our society where
I could say, whoa we have gotten to a higher level,
a peak where people are shouting, give us Kyle's give
(05:03):
us injustice, and give us rebellion. Tewod Peter chapter two,
verse five states that Noah was a preacher of righteousness,
even though, like Noah warned others, they mocked him, just
as the last days it will be filled with mockers.
(05:27):
And that's found in June chapter one, verse eighteen, eating, drinking, marrying.
Until the day Noah entered the arc Matthew twenty four
thirty eight, people were distracted by daily life, completely unprepared
for judgment, almost as the virgins who were told to
(05:49):
have oil for when he returned, and in the other
scriptures says that they fell asleep and he had came.
They did not know on until the flood came and
took them all away. When judgment came, it was swift,
and only Noah's family was saved. I don't be many
(06:11):
people don't want to hear that. Nobody wants the gospel judgment.
Nobody wants the doom and gloom. No way, Why because
God is so loving, so merciful. But yet Jesus is
standing in the scripture and he's saying it will be
as the days of Noah. When I return, I'm going
to come back, and I'm going to find the state
(06:34):
of the earth as in the days of Noah, full
of corruption, wicked, and injustice. There will be mockers who
will be mocking me. They will mock you for talking
about me. Does that sound familiar? This is sound like
a bunch of Christians now that talk about Jesus and
(06:54):
are constantly being mocked for it. We're the only religion
that gets thrown off the edge of a cliff. Every
other religious get up praise. They are even more accepted
than we are. And their justification for that is because
of our judgment. Why, because we are called to not
(07:14):
compromise your wickedness. Yeah, we are actually looking at a
process and transformation of transitioning to the days of Noah.
Jesus said that the history will repeat itself. What is
that gonna look like. Let's compare it. There's gonna be
a widespread of sin that was in the days of
(07:35):
Noah's and today what we see rejection of the biblical
truth that was his second Timpathy Chapter three, verse one
and five. The days of Noah's had violence and corruption.
What do we have today? A global crime, conflict and injustice.
Children killing children, children killing their parents, parents killing their children,
(07:57):
father taking all of them out, even himself. How about
the shootings of the church, the schools. I mean, we
can go on with all the negative news, but what
are we actually doing about it? Are we conforming to
the hardness of the hearts? Are we conforming to the
wickedness and the evil of the earth, becoming so numb
(08:20):
that we're not even praying for the sinners of the land,
for the sin of this world. Are we becoming less compassionate,
less merciful? Are we becoming like them days of noo,
a mockery of truth? Christian faith is being ridiculed today
Two Peter's Chapter three, verse three and four. Love for pleasure,
(08:45):
Oh yeah, we're looking at a pleasure seeking culture. Now
please me with all the pleasures of the world. I
thought it would seek the kingdom first, and all things
will be added. Noah's they had to ignore warnings, and
we have a gospel preach today, but many don't even respond.
(09:06):
We have churches all over the place, and many are
leaving because they don't feel the presence of God. Noah
stayed close to God in a corrupt world. That's how
he responded. He lived holy even when the world wasn't,
(09:27):
even when the world was mocking them, he was obeying
God completely, wholeheartedly. I'm sorry for all you partial obeyors.
And I say that because I've done that, and I
speak to myself in this. He said, wholeheartedly completely. When
(09:51):
Noah built the Ark, he did exactly as God instructed,
not exactly as he thought it should be built. And
that's what we were. We're seeing a lot of let's
build our way. Don't just hear God, but we obey him.
We have to obey what exactly what God says, and
(10:14):
I have to I feel like those birds are exactly
how God says. No One kept preaching righteous despite a rejection.
He never stopped being a bold witness, no matter what
the response of the people were. Can I tell you
that there's a pressure in society right now to get
(10:36):
Christians to stop talking about Christ and all that they do,
and they're doing the work and excluding the sound. I
want you to know that I believe in Christ, but
I don't want you to feel like I'm too Christianese. Yeah,
so let's do the work and let's take him out
(10:57):
the circle. But God, I believe you just understand that
the work that you're requiring me to do requires me
not to speak of you in the workfield. It's sad.
It's sad what we're seeing. Ezekiel, thirty three, seven and nine.
The arc is will saved Nobah. What is today's society's
(11:20):
arc is Jesus himself. Only in Christ can we be saved?
Only in Christ? Can we escape judgment? Only in Christ?
Can we be bold as Stevens and actually proclaim the
Gospel when we're called into courts when people begin to
(11:41):
question our faith. Jesus commanded us to live with spiritual alertness.
How do we stay prepared? Number One, Draw near to
God and stay there. Don't be a fool. Fools are
(12:02):
for the world. Foolish things are of this world. Prayer, repentance,
and devotion are of God. Stay close. Be filled with
the Holy Spirit, and not the nonsense of what you're
creating or what people are trying to put inside of you.
Walk in His powers. The only way to live this out.
Spiritual discernment, the voice of wisdom, the actual guidance of
(12:27):
his spirit. He features chapter five to eighteen three discerning
the times stay spiritually awake. How are you going to
do that? Stay in prayer, stay close to God Luke
twenty one thirty six, and be a friend and warn
the lost. That's number four. Share the gospel bullying, don't
(12:50):
be ashamed. It is what you believe in. It is
who you believe in. It is what you came out of,
what you're created in Mark chapter sixteen fifty and number five.
Separate from worldliness. Stop it, stop it. I know, I
know that the world is pulling on you to become
one of them. It's okay to sit at this table,
(13:14):
But yet the Bible says that there is a table
prepared for those who are the sons of God and
the sons of Satan. There's two. Which table are you
sitting because there isn't anyone in between? Live a life,
said onto him Tewod Corinthians, chapter six seventeen. And I'm
(13:38):
telling you this because it is easy right now to
steer off into something you will end up regretting when
you find yourself so far from His holiness. The day
of the Lord will come as a thief of the
night Tewod Peter chapter three, eight ten. The flood was
(13:59):
on expected, so too, will be his return. Now, I
know a lot of people don't believe in this anymore.
They don't believe that Jesus Christ is going to return.
But yet I could see that the prophecies he spoke
about are now being fulfilled. Even more. Have you done
any studies on your prophecies lately? You should, because who
(14:23):
will be saved? Only those in Christ, just like no
one in New York. And you know the second chances.
Once the door is shut, is shut. Luke thirteen to
twenty five states that, so are we ready? Are you
living like a Noah? Or are we living like the
(14:43):
culture around us? Are we alert to the signs of
the times? Have we truly surrendered our life to Christ?
Have you fallen away from that surrender? It's very simple.
I often and always will say, it's repent and turn
to God Actstrae nineteen. Live a set apart life for
(15:06):
him Romans twelfth two. Be bold and faithful Ezekiel thirty
three eight. And stay ready Matthew twenty five thirteen. This
is the only way we're gonna get through this. Find
a community who is sold out, who believes in repenting,
who believes in prayer, who believes in His holiness and righteousness,
(15:28):
and get grounded in that. Stay away from the lukewarm compromise. Christians,
you're gonna find yourself like in the days of Judah,
when Judah found themselves to be the ultimate high in
praise tribe to the ultimate compromised tribe. Let's do it
now while he is still found. Lord, keep us from
(15:50):
your deception. Keep us grounded in your word, Give us discernment,
give us boldness, give us faith that endures. Help us
to stand when we fall. We choose you over it.
Over all of this, Lord, help us to be like Noah, faithful, obedient,
(16:12):
and bold. Keep us from the deception of this age.
Fill us with your spirit, awaken our hearts, make us
ready for your return. Give us courage to preach your
truth and stand firm in this holiness. And Lord, I
ask that anyone who is asking for help and strength
to return to that place that they once were, God,
(16:36):
that you would just show us that it's as simple
as turning ourselves around the Saint. Lord, forgive us and
begin again. Lord, we steal that in Jesus' name. Well,
