Faith is not manifestation with a Bible verse attached.

It’s not wishful thinking wrapped in Christian language.
And it’s not the Universe in a church outfit. In this episode of Faith Hacked, we dismantle the confusion between biblical faith and the self-driven manifestation culture that's invaded Kingdom language.

Faith, according to scripture, is rooted in trust, obedience, and God's unchanging character—not in visualizing outcomes or speaking desires into existence. This is a necessary recalibration for a generation seduced by spiritualized self-help. Faith doesn’t demand from God.
Faith submits to God. Listen now and rebuild your understanding of faith on something solid enough to survive real storms. Faith Hacked — Purging the culture. Rebuilding the Kingdom. www.heartofzion.org

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to another episode of Faith Hacked. This is
episode three, the series by Zion's Voice podcast where we
are lovingly rip the fairy dust out of the faith Walk.
I am your host, Iris, the voice in your head
you can't mute when it starts getting real. Today's agenda

(00:38):
ruining the dream. Faith isn't manifestation with Bible Versus stapled
on it. Manifesting a yacht isn't faith. It's just delusion
with the pinches board. Buckle up and let's dive in.
I know this topic is going to ruffles some feathers.

(01:03):
It's hard for me too, trust me, but I gotta
search and I gotta go deep if I'm ever gonna
clean up whatever needs to be cleaned up inside of me.
So somewhere along the way, we're swapping faith for witchcraft.
With a Jesus sticker on it, it might say visualize

(01:26):
it and it'll happen. Write it down and claim it.
Speaking until the universe has no choice, but to obey.
First of all, the universe isn't your personal bardista. No,
it's not attending to our coffee. And second of all,

(01:47):
that's not biblical faith. That's Christian flavored superstition. Yeah, good
old superstition. Let's look at debunking the law of attraction,
because a lot of this is coming from that. The
law of attraction. What is it it teaches or teaching

(02:12):
that like attracts, like that your thoughts magnetly, like a magnet,
pulls things into your life. But Scripture never teaches that
your mind is a magnet power over the universe. It
teaches that God is sovereign, and sovereign means that he

(02:33):
is a ruler and judge, and he's involved in our
human affairs. And that's what gold comes down to in
the Bible when you study it out, that's what sovereignty means.
Isaiah forty six nine and ten. I am God, and
there is no other. I am God, and there is

(02:54):
none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and
from ancient times before the world began. That's added paraphrase
things that are not yet done, saying, my personal counsel
shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. Study

(03:17):
that out Isaiah forty six, nine to ten, or just
study o Isaiah forty six. Your thoughts don't create reality
God's word does I know, I know, I know. It's
hard pill swaddle for some people. Manifestation culture tells you

(03:37):
to speak it into existence. Faith calls you to declare
it God's promises and trust his sovereignty. And yes, there
is biblical language about speaking things into faith. We have
Romans chapter four seventeen. As it is written, Oh it
was written, I means it's already written. I have made

(04:01):
you a father of many nations in the presence of
him whom he believed, God who gives life to the dead,
God who gives life to the dead, and calls those
things which do not exist as though they did notice.
It is God who calls those things which do not exist. Yeah,

(04:27):
that's the part. We are called to align with what
God has already spoken, not go off and create new
realities by wishful thinking. Let me clarify the quantum round concept.
There is a real kingdom principle that we need and

(04:50):
already exists in the spirit round God's storehouses. It's prepared
in advance for his people Ephesians chapter one and three.
Blessed be the God and the Father of the Lord,
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places. In Christ. There you go. So
in God's kingdom. Provision, promises, purpose are already complete in Christ,

(05:19):
and so we access We access them through faith and
obedience and everything. Don't like the word obedience arounduse it
kind of like triggers people, But you know, it's not obitent.
Obedience when you're willing, and usually when people are willing,

(05:40):
it's like when you're madly in love or in love,
you're willing to do things that feels like a sacrifice.
And that's that's that's how I look at obedience, if
that helps anyone. So we access them through faith and obedience,
not by manipulating energy or frequency like New Age doctrine teaches,

(06:01):
and frequency has been thrown around a lot, which in biochemistry,
frequency is a common word that is used. So it's
not like it's incorrect, but it's the usage that Christians
are using it that's incorrect. So the enemy perverts God's

(06:22):
obviously his real principle by stripping them away from the
cross as centering them around human ego. That's the problem.
That's the problem. See how you have done this through
God and not taking away the cross, and I made

(06:45):
it about you your ego, then it wouldn't be a problem.
But since this is the this is the motive, it's
to replace Christ. Faith is not about pulling the energy
from the quantum field. It's about believing God's promise that
are yes and amen in Christ Tewod Corinthians one twenty.

(07:09):
For all the promises of God in Him are yes
and in him. Amen to the glory of God through us. Wow,
what a sound of scripture. It just it just sounds.
It makes a sound. So what faith actually is? What
is it? It's not a spiritual Amazon cart where we

(07:33):
throw the y'all in, the husband in the six pack
ebbs and wait for the shipping confirmation. You know, if
I could do that, that'd be great, you know, the
six pack, that part six pack. I don't really need
a y'all. I could do with a simple boat, but
a six pack that I mean, I think everybody will
be throwing in a cart. But that's not how it works.

(07:59):
It's faith that works, not works and faith So think
about it. I could do works without faith, but I
need faith to work. There's a difference there. I hope
you called that. Faith is trusting God's will and I'm

(08:20):
a wish list because God knows the desires on my heart,
and he also knows what I need, what's going to
complete me, what's going to create create the being that
He designed for me before I even existed, before the
foundations of the earth. He only knows because I don't
even know. Sometimes he has to tell me things about me.

(08:44):
Faith is believing God's plan even when it's not you know,
even I not even if it's not our own. It's
Faith is, you know, submitting to God's timing and not
demanding express delivery. If we would have to express delivery,

(09:04):
I don't think we'll be here right now, so Hebrews
eleven and one. Now, Faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is
rooted in him, not in the hype. Faith is the

(09:26):
substance of things hoped for. It's the evidence of things
not seen. So manifestation says, if I think it hard enough,
it's mine. And people believe this. There's a difference between

(09:47):
being determined and having determination for a goal versus I'm
gonna make this thing an idol and it's gonna be mine.
It's the heart. It's the intention of the heart that
makes it wrong. God is so a lover of a heart.

(10:10):
You know, when he said that he loved David was
because David was a man after God's heart. And David
was messed up, you know, like he was messed up emotionally.
You know, in the Book of Psalms, he just one
moment he's you know, you would think he's like dying
on his depth, and the next moment after that moment,

(10:31):
he's like giving God glory, thank you for everything, and
then you know, everything just decides to like, you know,
back to this place of peace. And so when I
think about, you know, the roller coaster David was on,
like but it didn't even matter. He knew that his
best blessing, the only blessing, was to be a man
after God's heart. I need to know you knowing that

(10:52):
I am nothing without you. It's the intention of the heart.
Matthew six thirty three. Seek first the Kingdom of God
and his righteous says that all these things shall be
added to you. Seek first, the Kingdom of God. Manifestation
centers are it's centered around our desire, and faith is

(11:14):
centered around God's design. Manifestation centers around your desire. It's
not manifestation doesn't say seek the kingdom first. The manifestation
says seek your kingdom first, and then we'll add on God.

(11:36):
Guess which one lasts longer than your New Year's Eve resolution?
That was a given. That was a given. So here's
a quick checklist. If you're like fall in for you
know your vision board, and you know, don't get me wrong,
I love me a vision board, but I use my
vision board to keep me focused on projects God projects,

(11:59):
things that He already showed me. It is a part
of his will. I don't really add to it. That's
really what I put on there. And then, of course,
you know, you're your project projects that God gives you,
like books you need to write and stuff like that.

(12:20):
It's that's a different calendar. But for a vision board,
I only put the vision that I see God give me,
not things that I'm like, well, this would if if
I was to have all this, well, God gives me that.
That's great, but it's not my number one thing. It's
not the first thing I saw. Okay, So are you
quoting promises without submitting to the process. Are you name

(12:43):
dropping scriptures like spells instead of living them? Are you
living them? These these actual scriptures? Are you living them out?
Are you a revelation of that scripture? Are you mad
when God's timeline doesn't match your dream board? Well, if
that's the case, in congratulations, you're not manifesting your bargaining

(13:05):
and it's not working. It does not work. It doesn't work.
You know, it's like again, it's like we're not fully surrendered.
So if you want real faith, and I know it
sounds boring to some people, like, oh, it just takes
the fun out of everything. Well, you know, if you

(13:26):
had a deep relationship with the Lord, then these things
wouldn't be a problem when you would open up your
Bible for guidance and not the next slogan, when you
see God's heart and not his hand out, and be
ready for the no just as much as you are
ready for the yes. Okay, so those things wouldn't be

(13:46):
Everything is always coming back into your relationship, Like where
your relationship stands with him is exactly where everything else
will come and follow. God spoke the universe into existence.
He doesn't need a manifestation of a move board to
do that. He spoke it. He used his mouth, and

(14:07):
he spoke it into existence. What he needs from us
is to listen and to follow his way. That's why
it says that you know the sheep know my voice,
and I know them because I have a relationship with
them and they follow me. Obedience is following Romans twelve two,

(14:32):
and do not be conformed by this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable perfect will of God.
Real faith knows God's wait wat is as holy as
his yes, and God's know is as loving as his breakthrough.

(14:59):
Real faith isn't, I guess, excite. You know it zo
sexy for some people. But it's patient, it's gritty, it's
joyful even when the yacht doesn't come, and it's still
joyful when the blessing is just more responsibility instead of

(15:21):
more followers. If your faith can't survive disappointment, then it
was a fantasy. It wasn't faith. And I tell this
to people all the time. If a person, if a
pastor fallen from the grace of God from what he
was doing made you leave the church. I just have

(15:41):
to question, you know, who were you really serving? Because
men are faulty, they're imperfect, and they're gonna fall short
of the glory of God somewhere in the journey. But
I didn't come for that. I came to serve the Lord.
Part of a part of that is becoming, you know,

(16:03):
a part of a community that might need my help
just as much as I think I need theirs. So salty, salty, salty,
stay salty, my friends. Hopefully that wasn't today's disappointment for you,
But just know that next week we're getting into the

(16:23):
uncomfortable reality of spiritual warfare. Is it demons or is
it just the lack of your discipline. I think you're
not gonna love the answer. We'll see you then
