Good morning, My name is Christy. So we're sitting here. Producer
Karina's like, did I tell youalmost got kidnapped over the weekend? Like,
no, you didn't. What happened? I think I almost did.
So you know how they always saylisten to your mom when they tell you
something, but you don't listen.So I was going to a local Mexican

market. My mom said, hey, be careful. There's a lot of
men there on Sundays, and youjust never know. Be careful. I
go to pay at the cash herethis guy is literally walking, walking,
walking up towards me, all theway to my face. I don't know
him. He's not buying anything,but he's right at my shoulder. And
it wasn't until I was like,whoa, whoa, whoa, who woo

boa whoa. The girl of thecashier was like, do you know him?
He was like, oh, I'mso sorry, I'm so sorry,
and then he just walked out ofthe store. See this is why you
can't get a date because you thinksomebody's trying to kidnap you. Maybe he
just wanted to be like, hey, how you doing. He could have
said that, but he was likereally really close to me that. I
was like, what is he tryingto do. He wasn't buying anything,

he wasn't next to mine. Heliterally just kind of walked up to me,
and I was like, maybe hewas gonna try to pickpocket me.
I don't know, but the cashierwas like, hey, girl, is
that your husband? I said no, She's like, whoa. He was
really close to you for you notto know him. Maybe he was gonna
pickpocket you. Oh, miss Connieknew she felt it in her soul right.
Maybe he was trying to kidnap meor take me you know what.

That is crazy because that could happenand always happened to me. Really,
I'm not kidding. I was leavingBerkeley. I was on telegraph visiting a
friend at his job, and itwas near the UC Berkeley campus and I
walked around the corner and I waslike, by mo by trev. I
walked around the corner and this dudewas walking behind me really fast. I

turned the corner to get to mycar, and he turns the corner and
he's following me, and he's gettingcloser and closer, and I'm like okay,
and I unlocked my car. Andmy friend Michelle always says, whenever
you get in your car, lockyour car doors right away. So I
literally get in the car. Ilocked the car door. I turned to
my right, and the guy who'sbeen following me is now on my passenger

side and he's opening the door handle. Oh hell no, yeah, yeah,
he's trying to open the door handle. And I was like, and
then this car comes up on theleft inside of me as if it's gonna
block me in. Oh yeah.And I swooped out and I turned her
corner and I went back to myfriends and I was like, oh my

god, mo, dri this crazydude just try to get in my car.
Yeah, And they ran around thecorner and he he had dipped out,
but yeah, yeah, that's scary. That's I say, pay attention
to your surroundings. Because even thecashier was like, oh, you'll be
surprised at what happens outside the store, oh market on Sunday. Oh man,
