Next seeks time for the Crazy Trailer One Morning Drives
with Christie Live.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Sevent Good morning, happy to be back, Happy to be
driving the Crazy Train. Just a reminder at seven twenty
eight minutes of commercial free music. But first let's ride out.
I'm just saying today we're we riding to Christen.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
The Crazy Train.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Is rolling out to Bedford, Ohio, where a family is
relieved after they woke up this past Sunday, and they
found that their eight year old daughter was missing and
their Nissan Rogue was missing, and the parents were so
worried and upset. They were like, oh my god, my
(04:09):
baby and my other baby.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
And then the police started getting.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Phone calls like, we have a report of a child driving.
How about the eight year old stole the parent's car
and drove to Target.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
No, she didn't drove eleven.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Miles to the old Tarja so she could get herself
a frappucino and do some shopping at the old Tarje.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Yes, why she made it all the way at eight
years old, made it.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
All the way to Target, eleven miles away from her house,
stole her parents' keys and the credit card so she
could go buy some stuff, got herself a frappuccino.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
The cops picked her up. She admitted to hitting a mailbox.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
That's pretty good. I'm saying, Yeah, that's actually not bad.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
And that's what most adults are saying, which is really
bad because we should be upset that this eight yir
old stole the car. But everyone's like, well, damn, she
made it eleven miles. That's pretty impressive that she got
that far. The cop said, we let her finish her frappuccino.
The parents won't be charged. Huh. But I don't know
what's gonna happen to little Susie when she gets home.
I don't know if that's her name, but I'm just
(05:18):
saying this. Ruthie, my mama would not be having it. Oh,
it'd be more than a news story. This would not
be the ending to this news story.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Tin money and Jackie cars at eight years old.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
It sounds like Kareena, I'm just kidding. You ain't never
lie about That.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Was her daily Crazy news story.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
You can ride the Crazy Train every weekday at seven
ten and around nine forty, and of course, catch the
Daily Crazy News Story on demand at Classic Hits one
o three seven dot com.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Glad that nobody was hurt.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Except for the poor mail box and maybe her behind
when she got home. Well, I don't know how her
parents roll, but if she's stealing cars and credit cards,
maybe they need to roll a little hard.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I'll say it got the Google dolls to start. Eighty
minutes of commercial free music coming up.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Next, Recording Drive with Christy Live Classic Kids one oh
three point seven. It's time for the Great Debate.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
What do you do with one that you just don't like?
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, always discuss a hot topic
and love to get your advice, especially when it comes
to things happening in our lives.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
I'm Christy producer karinas here.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
You know.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
We just got back from vacation.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
So thank you to little Ricky for holding things down
in our absence. So it was my birthday and had
a chance to go hang out with a bunch of people,
bunch of my closest friends, and for my birthday, got
some wonderful gifts. I don't really like a whole lot
of gifts because I don't want a bunch of stuff. Yeah,
(06:56):
but I did get a couple of very expensive, nice
gifts which I don't really like.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Oh please share.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
And it is I feel so bad because I know
this person.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Might actually be.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Listening right now and I haven't said anything, but I
d well, here goes. So I got some jewelry and
I'm not too keen on the jewelry, okay, and I
know jewelry was pretty expensive. I don't know if I
can say, hey, I don't like this jewelry, can you
return it? Because I probably won't wear it, or if
I should just keep it and enjoy the gift, because
(07:29):
it's the thought that counts. So that is the question
this morning for the Great Debate. Is that a jerk
move to be.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Like I don't like this.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
I mean, they spent quite a bit of money on
that jewelry for you, But I'm all about being honest
and saying, hey, I'm not going to use this. Take
it back to me. It seems like I would want
my money back. I would be like, you know what,
you can give me the money. I always ask for money.
If you're gonna get me a gift, just give me
the money. Yeah, give me a gift card. But it's
(08:04):
a tough situation because they probably put a lot of
thought into giving you that jewelry.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Crise.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
They were very excited to give me this gift. Yeah,
very excited. That's a tough situation. Yeah, it's such a
horrible human being because I don't want to be rude,
but I also don't want you to waste your money
right on something that's probably just gonna sit there and
never be worn. Yeah. I apologize. If they're listening right now,
(08:32):
I'm really horrible because I feel bad about it. But
I would like to know what should I do?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
I can talk about your face, Christy, that this is
this is hurt, this is fugging you.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
This is the question this morning for the Great debate.
If you get a gift and you're not feeling it,
do you say something or do you just accept it?
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Don't look?
Speaker 5 (08:52):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. One eighth
and six, nine hundred and one oh three seven tap
the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Could really use your help. And that is the saying,
what are you laughing at? I didn't know that. I
never heard that.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
One never heard don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
Don't look at don't look a gift horse.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
No, don't lift look look, don't look a gift horse
in the mouth.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Heard of it?
Speaker 5 (09:18):
But okay, you're serious. I've never heard of that. It's
a thing. I know it's a thing. Okay, just like that,
jewelry is a thing. Don't do that. That's gonna sit
there like that.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Don't do that.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Don't do that.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Please give me a call, help us this ste out
this morning. Don't be like Korena the compassionate thing.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Back to the Greek Gift Bay, Classic Kids one oh
three point seven.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
How are you doing this Wednesday? Could really use your help.
Got a gift for my birthday, pretty expensive jewelry, but
I'm not really feeling it, and I'm not sure if
I should say, hey, take this bag, don't waste your money,
or if if I should just accept it and not look
a gift horse in their mouth, which is what I say.
Producer Kreena has never heard that saying, but I know
(10:07):
it's a real saying.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Arizona James, thank you for checking in.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
What do you think?
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Oh? Not much?
Speaker 8 (10:12):
This is a great debate And I was like, ooh
that's cold.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
That's cold.
Speaker 9 (10:17):
No.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
See, I'm trying not to be.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Hey, man, you get what you get, and you don't
throw a fit.
Speaker 8 (10:22):
Just be thinkingful. You got friends that are willing to
give you something.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
I know that's how I feel.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
But at the same time, I also don't want to
accept the gift that was expensive and have it go
to waste.
Speaker 8 (10:31):
If you turn around and try to give it back
to them or like say get your money back, You're
going to assault the hell out of them. I'd be insulted,
that's for damn sure.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
See that's what I don't want, which is why I'm
bringing the question this morning because I just don't know
what to do. But I appreciate you so much for calling.
All right, Isabelle, good morning. I got a gift, not
really feeling for my birthday, but I don't know if
I should say something or just you know, accept it.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
Well, I'm going to say that whoever dave it to
you must love you and know you Christy in and
out and so being honest and saying, you know, thank
you so much for spending your time and effort. But
I don't want you to waste your money. And this
isn't something I would wear or use, and then you know,
give it back to them. If they love you, they
won't feel offended. They're like, oh damn, I thought I
(11:19):
had that straight.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You know.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I like that perspective, Isabelle.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
I like that. That's why I said Christie should do That's.
Speaker 6 (11:27):
How I feel. I mean, that's why they love her
because of her honesty. So I think that just being
honest shows to go, okay, well, that's why I love
you girl.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Well, thank you, Isabelle. I appreciate that perspective. You guys
have a great day you too, What do you think?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Please call way in on this morning's Great Debate.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Is it rude to get a gift and say, you know,
I'm really not feeling this.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I think you should take it back? Or should you
just suck it up and accept it? And you know,
I feel the love? One eight sixty six, nine hundred
and one oh three seven. Tap the red microphone if
you happen to be listening on our free iHeartRadio app
and join in for this morning's Great Debate.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Love to hear from you.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Next back to the Great Debate Classic Kids. One oh
three point seven.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Got a birthday gift? Not really feeling the birthday gift.
It was a really nice, expensive birthday gift. But I
don't know if I should say, hey, I'm not really
feeling this, take it back, or if that's rude. So
I appreciate all the calls this morning, Bob, what do
you think personally?
Speaker 8 (12:38):
If it was me, I mean, you told me you
didn't like the gift, I'd be okay with it. But
I know like some people, I know they would be
crushed if you told me they didn't like their gifts.
Run It depends on the person. I know, if you
if you know the person will be crushed. I mean personally,
I would just keep quiet.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
I guess damn not crushed. I'm not out here trying
to crush people.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
Thank you so much. Take their hearts out.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Christy, you're not helping.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
You're not helping.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Claudia, thank you so much for calling. What do you think?
Speaker 9 (13:08):
Did you even have to ask?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Then just keep it and don't say anything, because.
Speaker 6 (13:13):
If you have to kind of relationship.
Speaker 9 (13:15):
With someone where you're comfortable, keep up an ask it.
Like my husband got me jewelry.
Speaker 7 (13:21):
I thought it was but Honny, thanks for no pick
you have to ask?
Speaker 3 (13:26):
I say, keep it? Okay, all right, so another vot.
Keep it and keep your mouth shut, okay. Thank you
for calling away in on the Great Debate. Asia, good morning.
Speaker 9 (13:39):
You know you don't have to wear it every day,
but we've gotta be grateful. Somebody thought about you and
spent a lot of money. Obviously you can they you know,
I think this is too much, but you know you're
like really hurt their feelings.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
And any point in their life.
Speaker 9 (13:57):
If I mean, for realm blake, who got money to
just be spending on people? If I spend money, I
don't care if it's five bucks, if I spend money
on somebody, I really thought about them. I wanted to
do this. You don't have to wear it every day,
but you know, when you see it, you know that
you were loving. Somebody thought about you, and somebody really
(14:17):
wanted to put you on that level, that queen level.
Like you could look at it like that.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
All right, that is a good way to look at it.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Got a time for a talkback here before we wrap
up the Great Debate.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Good morning, Christian Karinas. This is Jeff from Florida with
that gift.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
Keep it and just rewrap it and boss it up
and give it to somebody else.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Don't give it back to the person that bought it
for you, because it's kind of like insulting, like you're
not appreciative.
Speaker 8 (14:42):
Thank you, don't have a nice day.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
So basically I suck I am not appreciative.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Oh horrible.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Thank you to everyone who called to weigh in on
this morning's Great Debate. When it comes to jewelry Gate
twenty twenty four or producing Forrina.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Christy, you better suck it up, keep it and don't
say a word.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
That is the name of the game. If you get
a gift that you do not like. People do not
want to hear about it. They just want you to
enjoy it. And I guess that is true. So that
was my dolling.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
I wasn't sure because I'm like, I don't want to
be a jerk.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
I don't want to say, you know, I don't appreciate this,
because I know it's the thought that counts. But I'm
also the virgo in me is like, okay, I need
the practicality of it. Just give me, just give me
the cash or nothing at all. That sounds so horrible.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
That sound horrible, and you mean, well, Christy, I do
mean real.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
I think she knows the person I gave it to
you knows like you know, you're not a mean person
sometimes just ungrateful parents, and.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Watch out goodwill because you're about to come up on
some jewel the.
Speaker 10 (15:50):
Buffalo Exchange at the jor Christie's kind of a no, no,
I'm not gonna do that, but thank you everyone.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
I really needed to help this morning.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
And I will keep it, maybe posted on Facebook and
wear it so it's a nice thing to do. Yes,
all right, back to the music in thirty seconds, Classic.
Speaker 1 (16:12):

Me Five with Christie Live, Good Morning.
Speaker 7 (16:19):

do is give me five things in that category in

five places you can buy a cheeseburger, go.
Speaker 7 (16:48):

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Five, okay, and the Orchard Checke. I'm gonna say you
can't get one at.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
The Orchard Cafe, right, Yeah, you could absolutely get one.
That would be too easy, though, that would have been
way too easy.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
You crushed it either way.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Gro Congratulations, you are the Give Me Five champs.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Step up to the mic. Who or what would you
like to shout out?
Speaker 7 (17:16):
I want to turn to Trish, Louis, Sabrina and Rozalin
and Cindy from the Orchard Cafe.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, in the background, what are you guys serving.
Speaker 7 (17:26):
Up today is a good one. We got chicken, fried
chicken and mashed potatoes.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
We got corn dog and.
Speaker 7 (17:33):
What's the third thing we got today, guys, real cheese sandwiches.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Okay, you just said, like all the favorite things.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Where is this cafe.
Speaker 7 (17:41):
Orchard school district in chanos A?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
You got you were trying to plan our lunch. You're
right on the school lunch. Oh man, I was ready.
I was ready for that corn dog.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
And the mashed potatoes. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Good out in the four oh eight.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
