contact with each other.

is not a classic sound, because I would know it.
I'm a kid from that generation. Okay, Okay, see if
you know this sound, it sounds like an after school special.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
It's not an after school special. Someone's gonna know this
is it from a television show, not from a show
at all.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Oh whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Okay, if you think you know this sound that producer
Karina clearly made up one.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Hey guys, it's actually the start of Windows three water
or three. That's pretty much what the sound is. Thought
you'd like to know.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
That's it right there. It's Windows ninety eight and then
now it's this updated version.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
This.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
I know that's the sound.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I know the first Windows ninety eight. You don't remember
that it was.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
I was too young.

Speaker 2 (05:05):

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Time for the Crazy Trainer on the Morning Drives with
Christie Live.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Today's the Crazy Train is heading over to Shandong Province, China,
where a family is making national news. Their sick father
had no money to pay for his medical bills. He
was in the hospital and unfortunately his money was in
the bank. So they called the bank and they said,
we need to pay for our dad's hospital bills. And

(06:05):
they said, well, we need to confirm that it's his account. Well,
he's in the hospital, he can't come to the bank. Sorry,
we need to confirm his account. Well, we can get
you a note from the hospital. No, we we're gonna
need to see him. So the daughter was like, okay,
well can you send an ambulance to the hospital to
get my father.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
To bring him down to the bank.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
And they said no, ambulances are actually only for emergency purposes,
so you can't use an ambulance. So his daughter ended
up wheeling her father's hospital bed from the hospital no
all the way to the bank and rolled him into
the bank just so they could confirm his identity to
pay for his medical bills.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
At the hospital. There is video of this.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Woman wheeling her father down the street and into the bank.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
That's so shady.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
So the bank's part so shady. Hina are like this, y'all,
this is a bad look. This is a bad look.
And I thought the two factor authentication was horrible. Oh
day off of that. Oh this is crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I can't even believe it, and you wouldn't either until
you see the video, which you can do on our
website Classic Hits one o three seven dot com. Woman
just with the gurdy willing or dad down the street
to confirm his identity.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Insane. That's your crazy news for the day.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
You can always ride the crazy train at seven ten
and nine forty, and of course, get your daily crazy
news on demand at Classic Hits one o three seven

Speaker 1 (07:41):
This Morning Drive with Christy Live Classic Kids one oh
three point seven.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
It's time for the great damn bait?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Whatever happened to a good old fashioned phone call? Every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday, always debate a topic phone calls or
text messages. The other day, a friend of mine we
were supposed to like link up, and she was like, well,
you never responded to my text, so you know, I
didn't know if we were still going to connect. And

(08:15):
I said, I didn't see your text message? Why didn't
you just call me? Right crickets, no answer because people
don't call anymore and I don't understand that. So this
is the question for this morning's Great Debate, a text
versus a phone call?

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Please don't waste my time calling me Karna.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
How is that wasting your time to want to talk
to you like an actual human being?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Because most of the time it's something short that you
could just type.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Out on a text message.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
You can quickly answer a phone call then get back
to what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Call me, call me, Call me when you need someone
to talk to.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Is not Vanity six, call me Satisfaction Gear and Sky
Damn you need someone to dump to? Okay, that's a
jam right there. Add some great advice too. One eight
sixty six nine hundred and one oh three seven.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
Please pick up the phone and.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Jump in for this morning's great debate. And if you're
more of a Texter, tap the red microphone on our
free iHeartRadio app and you can leave a tom back
to join the fun hear from your next back to.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
The Great Debate Classic Kids one oh three point seven?

Speaker 5 (09:38):
Are you a Texter? Are you a caller?

Speaker 2 (09:40):
That is the question for this morning's great debate happened
to old fashioned phone calls?

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Tim?

Speaker 8 (09:45):
How dare you use the phone on me? You better
text me to see if I'm even accepting calls.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
No way, are you kidding me? Right now? Tim, don't
be like that.

Speaker 8 (09:57):
Let's say this. If it's business, I prefer a call
because there's cameras. But if it's just if it's your
homie or your family, go ahead and text me to
see when I'm up to first, and then if I'm
able to, I will hit you back respectful. And if
I don't hit you back, please don't get her friend
it okay, I'm thirsty.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
I can't believe that I'll know your vote though.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Thank you for the call, Tim, Good morning, Paula text
her phone call?

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (10:21):
Texting for sure. I mean it's so much more convenient.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
You can answer at your own you know time, and
if you have a busy day.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
Work, you know, whatever it is, you can get back
to them whenever you can.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
But like for me, I get busy, so I'll look
at the text and if I don't reply right away,
then I forget about it.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
Then my friends get mad because I didn't reply.

Speaker 8 (10:39):
That's so true.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I'll know your vote though. Thanks for the call, Paula.
Good morning, Isabelle. Thanks for checking in for the great
debate text versus a phone call?

Speaker 10 (10:53):
It's just contas who you are. My mother I call
every day at nine o'clock. My daughter should we talk
on the way to work while she's driving. However, every
other time it's texting. It all depends on who you are.
My son does not answer a text, so you have
to have a phone call.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Okay, I'm that friend. My friends getting mad at me
for not replying to text. But if you call me,
I'll pick up.

Speaker 8 (11:15):
That's right.

Speaker 10 (11:15):
If they're your friend or a family member, you know
who they are and how they like it, and that's
how you do it, all right.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I will note that moote. I think each side gets
a point from Isabelle. Appreciate the call.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Where do you stand a text versus a phone call?
Jump in for this morning's great debate. Always discuss the
topic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and it would not
be the same without your input. So tap that red
microphone on our free iHeartRadio app, or pick up the
phone and call back to the.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Greek Debate Classic Kids one Oh three point.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Seven calling versus texting. That's the question for.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
This morning's Great Debate, Asia Namara, where you stand.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
I believe that things deserve a phone call. You cannot
establish no human and no good communication through a text message.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Okay, what if your daughter marsay.

Speaker 8 (12:09):
Texting and twitters. I'm wrong. The phone is along and
they're never saying anything with.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Text me, Jess, And I don't want to hear your call.

Speaker 7 (12:16):
That's so unhuman and it's so cold, and so you know,
what I'm saying is just so impersonal.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Thank you guys so much for jumping in. We'll note
the votes. Good morning, Darwin. Text or phone call.

Speaker 9 (12:28):
Text are quick and easy and you don't have to
like spend five minutes with someone if you have just
a simple thought. But every once in a while call
is nice, but you know, just for communication purposes and like, hey,
just thinking about you. Just a quick text and then.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
You're on your way, So you're leaning more text message. Okay,
well note that vote. Thank you so much. A call
or a text message? That is the question for this
morning's great debate. Where do you stand, Chris?

Speaker 8 (13:00):
I like a phone call because you never know when
Michelle Moob but you could be involved in an action
and lose your life and I'll never hear your voice again.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Oh my god, that got dark real quick. But yes,
still a good point. Thank you very much. I don't
know about you, but I always save voice messages. You do,
I do cause I just I don't know. I feel like, okay,
I have to save this because what if something happens,
I'll always.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Have the message. Oh gosh, no, sorry, I have a heart.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
A great thank you to everyone who jumped in to
join this morning's great debate.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
Like I said, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
We always talk about something and if you have a topic,
please call and share it.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
You can even email your great debate topic.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
But as far as this morning goes calling versus texting,
producer Karna split.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
Down the middle.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
If it's important, call me, If it's not, text me.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
Okay, I think I can deal with that.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Thank you very much to everyone who jumped in for
this morning's great debate.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
