You're listening Good Morning Drive with Christie Live on demand
Hadies plus at one oh three point seven owning Drive
with Christie Live News.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
You can use Welcome to your work week Monday, November
the fourteenth. My name is Christy, so Wakanda Forever made
a lot of money this weekend. Get to that. But
first off, let's shout out the San Francisco forty nine Ers,
shall we? What a great game yesterday and you know
my self, producer Krino, we're big forty nine or faithful.
So they pulled off and win last night against the Chargers.

(00:36):
Had a chance to go out to Levi's. It was
a good time, so let's go forty nine ers. Way
to get her done. Shout out to Disneyland. You know
it's always a magical place around the holidays, but this
year they actually just added two new dolls to It's
a small World, so if you go down there for
the holidays, make sure you check them out. They're actually
two dolls that are in wheelchairs, and it's nice if
you're a kid. You're able to see someone who looks

(00:58):
like you all over Disneyland. And they're said they're working
on inclusion. They'll be in the Latin American scene and
then also in the finale when you're riding. It's a
small world. And if you do have little ones at home,
you know, Frozen the Musical starts this week at the
Orphm Theater. Got a chance for you to pick up
two free tickets and four tickets to the Safeway Holiday
ice Rinking. Union Square was out there this past Friday

(01:21):
and it was so much fun. Let me tell you.
People were trying their best to ice skate, but it
wasn't always working out, but it was still a good time.
If you want to take the family, be here at
eight twenty. Got a chance for you to win four
free tickets to the ice rink and two tickets to
check out Frozen the Musical looks like it's amazing and
you know, whatever Disney does anything, it's gonna be epic.

(01:43):
So eight twenty got a chance for you to pick
those tickets up. And if you went and saw Wakanda
Forever this weekend, will you help them earn one hundred
and eighty million dollars second biggest opening this year. I
had a chance to check it out and wait till
you find out what this dude brought in the movie theater.
I have to tell you about this coming up next
on eighties plus their one oh three point seven also

(02:05):
got some linel Ritchie and Cindy Lauper on the way
it was insane since twenty five in your Morning Drive
with Christy Lai. Here on eedyth plus at one O
three point seven. I'm gonna have some fun stick around
because we like to have fun. My name's Christy. Producer
Karina is here. And if you want to check out
the Safeway Holiday I three Conunion Square, that's fun. Eight

(02:26):
twenty got a chance for you to win those tickets
and free tickets to Frozen the Musicals. So had a
chance to go check out Wakanda Forever over the weekend,
so did everybody else in their mama because it made
one hundred and eighty million dollars. Biggest or second biggest
opening actually this year. The first one was Doctor Strange
and the Multiverse, which is kind of random, another Marvel movie.

(02:48):
So people definitely representing for the superheroes. But what struck
me is the dude in front of me at the
movie theater No shame, pulls out a full on bucket
of case af chicken, not just the chicken, but all
the fixens too. I was like, sir, wow, I remember
back in the day he used to try and like

(03:08):
sneak a little something sunder my brother. He snuck a
burger in. You knows, so I'm not mad at you,
but I mean I was like, how did he even
get the bucket of chicken in here? He probably put
it in a bag with day I don't know. I mean,
come on. There are two types of people in the world.
There are people who like to sneak food into the
theater and people who are super paranoid and don't do it.

(03:30):
Producer Karina, I don't do it anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Used to when I was a younger teenager, but now
I'll just buy the snacks inside there.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Okay, then well, personally me, I actually like sneak in
you know, food, That's what I get. What I don't
do anymore is hop from movie to movie to movie.
That's what I used to do back in the day,
but not anymore. There are two types of people in
the world. People who set one alarm and get up
and those who set multiple alarms. I am the multiple alarm.

(04:00):
I am a repeat offender. I have to have at
least four alarms in the morning set up, I'm hitting snooze.
There are two types of people, people who eat the
pizza crust and those who throw it away. Why would
you even throw your pizza crust away? That's like the
best part of the pizza.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, I'm eating the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Every single time. There are people two types of people,
people who put ketchup on their fries and people who dip.
I am a dipper. And then when people just put
ketchup all over their fries, I'm like, it's gonna get soggy.
Why do you do that? Don't do that? I am
a dipper, okay. And then there are two types of people,

(04:40):
people who eat fries one at a time or people
who take like three at a time. Oh no, no,
eat the French fries you know when you like you know?
H yeah? And which one are you? Producer?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Krena, I grabbed just one at a time. What about you, Christy?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I am a ah, you know I do both. I
mix it up, really, I mix it up. Indeed, I
mix it up. Yeah. There are two types of people,
people who ice skate and people who roller skate. I'm
actually going roller skating tonight. You are, yes, at the
Church of eight Wheels in San Francisco. But if you
want to ice skate here at eight twenty got a
chance for you to win those four free tickets to

(05:15):
the Safeway Holiday Ice Drinking Union Square and tickets to
see Frozen the Musical coming up at eight twenty. On
eighties plus at one oh three point seven, stick Around,
got some Paul Young and the Black Crows on the way,
So it's your want to drive with Christy Live here
on eighties plus at one o three point seven. How

(05:36):
are you doing this Monday at six forty one, My
name's Christy. Producer Karina is here. We were talking about
two types of people in the world. There are two
types of people, and one of them dips their fries
in the ketchup and one of them puts the ketchup
on top of their fries. Chris, which one are you?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I always dip my ketchup.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I'm a dipper too, totally.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Oh yeah, oh yeah. Here's the real strings.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
When my mom likes to skip for French fries in mayonnaise.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I like ketchup in mayonnaise. You know, actually, didn't hinz
come out with a ketchup mayonnaise blend. It's very European, yeah, blend.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Last week in the kitchen, this is kind of random.
Producer Acreena came back in and she was like, do
you keep your ketchup in the refrigerator or do you
keep it in the cabinet. I totally keep my ketchup
in the refrigerator. What about you, produce, Acrena? What were
they talking about in the kitchen. They're talking about hot sauce.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I keep it in the refrigerator anytime I open it.
But they were like, no, it's wrong, You're supposed to
keep it in the cabinet.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I think hot sauce you don't have to refrigerate when
you go to the restaurant. Actually, ketchup isn't refrigerated as
a restaurant either, but I still keep it in the refrigerator.
And then hot sauce. I don't have hot sauce in
my house, but.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Your ketchup, Yeah, I mean everything belongs in the refrigerator
right once it's opened, I think so.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
I think it definitely lugs in the refrigerator.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Mm.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
You know what. There's another thing, because we're talking about
the two types of people, there are people who use
ranch on everything, and then there are people who are
just missing out on life. Oh man, you gotta gotta
have the ranch. Coming up at seven twenty go commercial

But these ghosts aren't just any ghosts. These ghosts are
looking for a good time. Linda Hill, she was in
the shower and she heard someone say looking good, and
she thought it was her husband, huh, And she realized

(08:07):
her husband was downstairs, so she said she had a
conversation with the ghost. She said she looked good, and
then they had a slaw small conversation and then he left. No, no,
even of your ghosts. Don't bust in on the shower.
I'm sorry, She said it was not her husband making
the comments. After the conversation, she said she's also gotten

(08:30):
plenty of feedback from visitors at Hillhouse manor from hookers
claiming that they have been touched at night time by
these women or spirits or ghost and they were like,
oh yeah, these are the hookers of Hill House manor
ghosts mind you. Wow, hey, even ghosts her looking for

(08:51):
a good time in the afterlife. I'm not mad. Do
what you gotta do. That is your daily crazy news story.

Got some more great music on the way for your
Monday from Tina Turner and lips Ink. We've been talking
about those irrational fears we had as a child. I
was definitely afraid of the dark, well into me being
a teenager. I think I don't know what I thought
was going to happen in the dark, but I wanted

(11:10):
no part of it. Shout out to Kathleen Testa, our
friend on Facebook who said when she was a kid,
she was afraid of getting shampoo in her ears and
not being able to hear. Sean Torrence said being abducted
by aliens was a big fear of his and Mindy,
what about you, what was your irrational kid fear.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
The best step on a crack, you'll break your mother's back.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yes, that is definitely one that was out there. Thanks
for the call, Kirsten. What about you.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Being attacked by a raccoon? Because it happened as a child,
and I've been horribly afraid of them ever since.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
You know what, Martha Quinn, I try and tell her
raccoons and koala bears. They look fuzzy and cute, but
they're vicious. That is scary.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
I was about five and I was on a picnic
with my family up the hill, up a mountain and
we're out on to my hands and my mother had
to feed it off with a purse. So yeah, and
this is you have for the rest of your life.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
You're afraid of raccoons.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Thereafter I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (12:09):

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Man.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Let me tell you, siblings will rock your world. If
you have irrational fears, your sibling will just add fuel
to the fire. Good morning, Camilla. What was yours? Is
that a daddy long legged spider is going to hurt me?
I know that their mouths are super tiny and can't
possibly bite me, but I'm still scared it's going to happen. Hey,
you know I don't mess with Spider's girls, so I

(13:32):
totally get it. Definitely want to shout out a couple
friends on Facebook. Jonah Phoenix said, Sharks doesn't sound so irrational,
but when he was a kid, he w'd even panic
in swimming pools. He was like, I knew there wouldn't
be one in a swimming pool, but why would your
parents let you watch Jaws two? Even the TV version
just did a number on him. Definitely want to say

(13:53):
thank you to everyone who weighed in. Lorenzoicado said I
was afraid of dinosaurs. No one told me what extinct mint,
so I thought dinosaurs like the t rex were still
running around, and I had nightmares that they were gonna
come get me in my room. That is crazy, Kim,
what about you? Well, no one would believe me.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
I think the house we grew up in was haunted.
Uh huh, no one was home. I would kind of
hide somewhere until they got home. And I just know
that strange. It's just like a feeling really like I
would be sketching or reading a book in the spare
room and then you just felt like a present.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
That was elementary school, middle school, and high school.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
No way. Yeah, we're nope. I'll mess with the ghost e.
They're ghosts and spiders. Y'all can go somewhere. I don't
think that's irrational. I think that's perfectly rational. Thank you
