He was like, Okay, you know when someone's been drinking
and they start a conversation with Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
I'm really really drunk right so and uh, and it's
dry January for some people, so that might be are
you gonna start dry my hand right now?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
So just wanted to put that out there. Day number
two of dry January. Wow, I'm going for it again.
Last year it did not work out for me. It
became a damp January. Yeah, which is also a thing.
But if you are down for dry January, I'm right
here with you for as long as I can be.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Okay, well, guess you and me are not going out
anywhere this one. I'm trying to go to Vegas this weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh are you serious?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
We're gonna We're gonna ride it to the wils bawl
Off though. Okay, So if you are doing dry January
or you have another resolution, it helps to tell people
that way they can hold you accountable for anything that
you want to do.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Every day is a fresh start.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
But if you do have a new Year's I don't
like to call it a resolution, a new year's goal.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Oh, I like the goal part. Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Something that you'd like to do this year or just
for the month of January, call and share it. Tell
people it will help keep you accountable. Producer Karina.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I'm gonna read more.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
I did not read at all really last year, and
I just want to get back to reading and challenging
my mind.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
So that's my goal. Okay, not dry January though, our
past all right.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
One eight sixty six, nine hundred and one three seven
is our phone number. Tap the red microphone on our
free iHeartRadio app. It's all brand new and schmancy. Check
it out if you get a chance, and you can
always send a talk back. Let us know your new
year goal or your January goal will help you stay accountable.

Speaker 1 (02:56):

Speaker 3 (02:57):
It's Classic Kid Christie Live six forty two on Classic
Kids one o three point seven. Welcome to a brand
new year. It's twenty twenty five. When you write the year,
are you still writing twenty twenty four? Usually for me,
it takes a second to kind of get into the
habit of changing things up. My name's Christy. Appreciate you
listening this morning. If you are around at seven twenty,

(03:20):
you can get eighty minutes of commercial free music. Do
it for you every single weekday, just to kind of
help you get through your commute. At the beginning of
the year, it's always nice to start thinking about your
goals and you know, different things you want to accomplish.
I hate to say resolution, it feels so like New
Year's resolution. But if you're like, Okay, I have twelve
months to achieve this goal, then that works out sometimes

(03:43):
a little bit better.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Do you have one to share?

Speaker 6 (03:46):
I hope for my partner to become more outdoorsy. We
spend way too much time at home, so I'm going
to force him to go hiking and really like connect
with nature and be a more active person.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
That is nice.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I think getting active for me and stretching. Stretching because
I feel each year as I get older, oh man,
it's getting a little bit more stiff everywhere, and stretching
is so important to you know, just keeping your mobility
and everything all greased up and ready to go. So
I'm with you and I wish you the best. And James,
do you have like a resolution or goal?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
I guess I.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
Should say it's not how much a January goal, but
as a by the.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
End of the year.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
For three years at least three.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Years out and I'm finally going to retire. All right, well, wow,
that is a big goal. Well hopefully you can stick
to it and we will. If you do it, I
will DJ your retirement party at the end of the year.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
So all right, well November.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
I'm telling you if you tell someone your goal, it
helps keep you accountable. So now you put it out
there and if you do it in November, hit me
up and I will DJ your party. Thank you so
much for the call one eight sixty six nine hundred
and one to three seven, or tap the red microphone
on our free iHeartRadio app and leave a talk back.
If you have a goal for this year, share it.

(05:16):
We'll hold you to it and yeah, we'll see how
it costs.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Points seven weeks Time.

Speaker 2 (05:22):

your workday every weekday. At seven twenty today the Crazy

tell people that you love No, I just don't want
to do it. You don't want to hurt body, anybody's feelings,
you know, you don't want them to get upset. A

(05:57):
shy man in India just made headline because he wanted
to avoid a tough conversation with his cousin who he
was working for. So instead of telling his cousin his
boss that he wanted to quit his job as a
computer programmer and not work for his family anymore, he
went home and cut off four fingers. He did not
this man cut off four of his fingers because then

(06:21):
he couldn't type and it would be easy to be like,
oh well, I can't just type with the nubs.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
I just need to know that's not wow.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
He felt trapped by his job.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
He was too nervous to tell his cousin I quit,
and so he cut off four of his fingers.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Something is not right there?

Speaker 7 (06:42):
What do you like?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
I don't like? That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
You better practice the word in the mirror and oh no, no,
say it over and over until you just it's deep rooted.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Or just give your boss the finger and say, well, now.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
You give him four like you can give him four fingers. Now,
there you go.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
That is your daily crazy news.

refused to acknowledge her diploma and instead showcase their Mexican
Homie Dolls collection. Yep, and when we left off, her
dad Won has just bought a seventy five inch television
and put it in the kitchen, where it essentially is

(08:16):
now blocking the entire entrance to the backyard.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
And blocking the fireplace. So now we have to go.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
All the way through the house to the garage, go
all the way around just to get outside to the backyard.
And yesterday he had the fireplace on and the TV
was there. Huh, So my mom kept saying gisa's kamando,
gist askimando, meaning what are you burning?

Speaker 4 (08:40):
What are you burning?

Speaker 5 (08:41):
It's smelling okay, so you go downstairs. Turns out the
fireplace was burning the side of the TV, the.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Freaking TV, and my dad didn't realize it. Oh you're lying. No,
I'm not lying. So we had to dif kind of TV?

Speaker 7 (09:00):
Is the TV still there?

Speaker 5 (09:02):
It's still there, but it's like slightly burned now on
the side, And my mom's like, yoni television, meaning move
this TV out of the kitchen, take it to your
room or something, but he still refuses.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
To move it. Well, just think you have a real
life fulog. It's all bad. The mulog is cracking this
year in the Velaska. Nowshold I just know? My mom
is not a happy camper right now with my dad.

Speaker 7 (09:34):

socks for a convinced of Paul Society Saint Drawn and
then they made Christmas cards and we sent them to
shut in Prishoners, base them out mass and drop up
some of the local seniors centers.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
That is so good.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
It's nice when kids get a chance to give back
when they're young, because then you understand the importance of
really appreciating everything that you have.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Yes, they do well.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
