Trailer One Morning Drive with Christie Live.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh man, it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
It is out to Wisconsin where a nineteen year old
man is sitting in jail after he was arrested this Sunday.
It looks like there was a case of arson. This
nineteen year old. Yeah, he went to his local congressman's
office and he set the office on fire. WHOA yeah,

(05:19):
Why that's the crazy part.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Some nineteen year old came down and decided to try
to set our office on fire.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Why you ask, did a nineteen year old come down
to this congressman's office to set it on fire rather
just call my office and saying let's open up. TikTok
he decided to try to burn it down.

Speaker 9 (05:39):
Because TikTok got shut down and this nineteen year old,
along with other nineteen year olds around the globe, was
so upset.

Speaker 10 (05:48):
Oh god, it was barely down for twenty four hours,
and you just kind of threw your life away because
Jicktok people.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Man, it's twenty twenty five and they just couldnot deal
with it. And luckily they caught this person and no
one was hurt. But seriously, just breathe, talk to someone
in real life. If you need that much entertainment, turn
the television on.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Read a book that is your crazy news.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
You could ride the crazy Train every weekday at seven ten,
at nine forty, and it's on demand too at Classic
Hits one o three seven dot com.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Our teens are bored these days, I think.

Man, you think, gosh, listen to some music.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
How about that eighty.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Minutes and commercial free music, starting with Brian Adams.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Next on Classic Hits, it's.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Morning Drive with Christy Live Classic Hits one oh three
point seven.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
It's time for the Great damn Debate.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
If I don't like it, I'm sending it back. I
don't care what anybody says. It's classic hits and every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday always debate a hot topic and of
course love to hear your thoughts. Last night, went out
to eat with one of my best friends, Paul, and
his parents were in town and his mom ordered this
fish and on the menu it didn't say that it

(07:10):
was spicy. It just said peppers. And when she took
a bite out of it, I literally thought she was choking.
I was like, oh my god, we have to do
the heimlick and say Miss Winfield, dang, that's spicy. It
was so spicy. Her face turned red.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Oh that sucks.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
And I'm not going to say the restaurant that we
were at, but when we sent the food back, they
still charged us for it.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Oh. I want to ask the question this morning.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
If you send food back because you don't like it,
should it be taken off the bill or do you
feel like someone had to prepare it, they had to
waste the ingredients. You should still be on the hook
for the food that you ordered. That is the question
for this morning's great debate. I think you should still

(08:05):
have to pay for it.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Oh really, yeah, because like you said, someone in the
back is preparing it.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
It's not the server's fault. I think you should still
pay for it. No, uh uh.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
I think if I want to pay for it out
of the kindness of my heart, that's one thing. But
if I don't like it and it wasn't great, you
should take it off the bill. If you take it off,
I'm gonna tip you even more, so you're messing up
your tip number one and number two.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Don't you want your customers to be happy? I didn't
like it, you should take it off my bill. Did
they bring her the food back?

Speaker 7 (08:38):
No? Oh?

Speaker 4 (08:40):
So she didn't even ask for the plate back.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
No, it was too spicy. She didn't want them to
remake it. She was like, no, no, thank you, and
I gave her part of my food. What do you think?
One eight sixty six, nine hundred and one oh three seven.
You can always jump in and join the debate by
tapping the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio apps and
a talk bag. If you don't like your food at
a restaurant and you send it back, should the restaurant

(09:04):
take it off your bill? That is the question for
this morning's great debate. Hear from you next, back.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
To the Greek Debate Classic Kids one oh three point seven.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
If you order food at a restaurant you don't like it,
should they take it off your bill? That is the
question this morning for the debate Arizona.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
James something Jason nasty is one thing, but when it's
like hot like that, they should warn you, you know,
and some people can't handle lead, so that they shouldn't
have charged you for it.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
But you feel like if you just don't like something,
you should still have to pay for it.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Hey, man, that's on you, you know what I mean.
You've got to figure something on the menu. Like nah,
I went to a restaurant two days ago and they
had this chicken feted cheenie and it had no flavor.
The chicken was horrible. I just threw I just left
it on a plate.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
And let it let him take Did they take it
off your bill?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
No? No, that was on me. I ordered it and
I didn't like it.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Oh no, I'm not paying for bad food. I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (10:07):
I don't know, o man, because a lot of these
restaurants a rebbit Nichols together and try to make a dime,
you know what I mean, and they just stay ain't
getting it, you know, trying to pay for the rent
and stuff around here. He's one thing, you know what
I mean, But flavor that's a whole different style.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
All right, I will note that vote. Thank you so much.
I always love to hear from you. Have a good day.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
Okay, Hey, yesterday.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Show, Thank you so much for listening.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
James got a couple of talkbacks from our iHeartRadio app.
Anytime you want to join the fun, just tap that
red microphone.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Good morning, ladies. Absolutely not paying for a meal that
was a too spicy and be misrepresented on the menu.
It is not the waiter or waitress's job to decline
the payment. It is management. Don't be mad at the
wait staff.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Okay, thank you so much for the talkback. What do
you think should you have to pay for food you
don't like at the restaurant? That's the question for this
morning's great debate.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Mike, Yeah, I kind of agree there.

Speaker 7 (11:08):
I say, I say, take it off the bill unless
they want to make it right.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
Take it off the bill.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Take it off.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
You shouldn't have to pay for it if you don't
like it or if it's not right.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I agree, Mike.

Speaker 7 (11:18):
But if then they make it right, then yeah, they
can still charge me.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I guess that's fair, But I still think even if
they take it back and make it right, it's.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Nice if they comp you for it.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I hate to sound stingy, but I always give it
back to the person in a tip I do.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I say it, well, thank you so much for joining
the fun this morning. Mike call anytime.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
Yeah, I appreciate it. You ladies have a good day.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
I'll talk to you so.

Speaker 7 (11:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Sounds good.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
What do you think should you have to pay if
you don't like the food? One eight sixty six nine
hundred and one three seven. You can always join the
fun by tapping the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio
app Jump in for this morning is great debate?

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Hear from you next back to the.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Great Debate Classic Kids one oh three point seven.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday have a great debate. This
morning's question. If you order food from a restaurant and
you don't like it, should they take it off your bill?

Speaker 2 (12:23):
I think they should. I said they shouldn't. I think
it's shady, Carl, what do you think?

Speaker 7 (12:28):
I'm sorry?

Speaker 6 (12:29):
I love Christy, It's like that's ridiculous. You know, if
you order something and you.

Speaker 8 (12:32):
Don't like it, that's not the restaurant's fault.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
You know, they still did their job. They prepared it,
they put it out, they paid for the food. That
would be like going into a movie and you're not
liking the movie. Insane.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
I want my money down.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I've done that before. No lie, and they will give
you a free ticket. I'm just saying it's so wrong.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
You shouldn't punish them later, you know, because that comes
off their tips.

Speaker 8 (12:52):
Then you know that's not wrong.

Speaker 6 (12:53):
It's just all wrong.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
All right.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Well, I will not your vote, and I love you, Carl,
Thanks for calling in for this morning's debate. Dana, what
do you think if you order food and you don't
like it.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Should you have to pay for it at the restaurant?

Speaker 6 (13:06):
Are you kidding me? Shouldn't take it off the bill?
You ordered it, they paid for all the materials, they
cooked it. Because you didn't like it or whatever else.
That's such a subjective thing. They filled their end of
the bargain. Who does that? Turns it back and try
to get a refund. Who does something like that?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Christy?

Speaker 3 (13:24):
I'm sorry, if I don't like it, I can't I
can't pay for it. And I think as a business,
you should want your customer to be happy. And I
also leave a big tip if you take it off.

Speaker 6 (13:34):
No, it's not like a shirt or a jacket where
you take it home and try it on. It just
doesn't fit. They can resell it easily. You can't resell
a steak.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
All right then, Dana, Well, I appreciate you jumping in
for this morning's great debate. Do you think you should
have to pay for the food if you don't like
it at the restaurant? That is the question this morning.

(14:06):
Tim Oh no, no.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
No, no, take that back. I better not see that on.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
My bill either.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Take it off.

Speaker 8 (14:12):
If I had, Yeah, if I had to have a
bite and it was natty and I disapproved and pushed
it away. Don't charge for something I had one bite
of it tastes like crap on the cracker.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
Can you I got to take you for that?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Uh huh No, today, not today.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
Not today.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (14:32):
Another thing I want to say, yes that I know
you guys get on the radio and you just having fun,
but you will take people's lives in a very positive way.
And I want to tell you, both you and Karina
that I love you very much.

Speaker 2 (14:46):

I appreciate that, I really do. That is a very
very nice thing to say.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
We need all the positivity in the world, you know
what I mean, So thank you for spying.

Speaker 8 (14:58):
Yes, and I'm trying to spread that because you know,
we're all connected in some kind of way.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yes, indeed, well Sweet, he meant to say he'd liked
me more though, but I don't get crazy.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Karna O.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Thank you so much, Tim, you know, just trying to
provide some positive vibes that you start your morning drive
every weekday. So thank you for being a part of
this morning's great debate.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
What have the people, said producer Karina.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
The majority of the folks said, yeah, the restaurant should
take it off your bill if you don't like it.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Which I'm surprised. I just feel like, I don't know,
I feel babit.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Okay, you know, I'll send it back, but I want
you to leave here thinking old Christy's a stingemeister, stingy
sin whatever that is.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Okay, Christy will send a napkin back if it's too rough.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Shut up this fork, this fork and knife isn't sharp enough.
Please take it back taking off my bill?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
No, but I always tip big I tip big, So
don't be a hater.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Okay, so I'm always breaking you off.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
You know, if you're the waiter waitress, if you take
it off my bill, I will give you that much
money in your tip.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
That's nice of you, you know.

Speaker 10 (16:16):
Yeah, come on now, Circle.
