Speaker 1 (00:01):
Morning Drive with Christy Live on demand.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So are we ready to forgive Will Smith?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
He sat down for a recent interview after Slapgate, which
was three years ago. Dang already, right, doesn't seem like
three years have passed since he mosied on up to
that Oscar stage and slapped the smack out of Chris
Rod real bad. And now he says, I'm looking to
be the best human I can possibly be and I'm

(00:32):
gonna take what I get with that.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
He also has an album coming out, so there's that.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
But Will Smith said I'm ready to move forward. The
question is are you ready to accept Will Smith's positive future?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
I still can't get over it. I think what he
did obviously years ago was despicable.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
People deserve a.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Second chance, well not for according to you, not me.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Now I'm I'm still can't get into Will back into
Will Smith.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
So sad because you know he was like a Betty
White where everyone loves Will Smith, and especially he was
on another level.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You know, his social media was on point.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You love the fresh prince of bel Air and now everyone's.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Like, I'm kind of lukewarm on Will.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
That's too bad, Christy, you are a fan again or are
you just giving them a second chance?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
You got to get people an opportunity to change. I
feel like you can't hold things against them forever unless
it's Chris Brown. But anyway, I was just wondering because
he's on this like apology tour Will Smith.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I can't believe it's been three years. But what do
you think?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Are you ready to forgive him? Do you think he
gets a second chance? One eight six six nine hundred
and one three seven is the phone number. I'm genuinely
curious to see what. Like everyone you know.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
What they think?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah, tap the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app
if you want to jump in.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Just kind of you know, debating it this morning.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
And my sister Cindy bought his memoir. Like she's like,
I'm gonna support him. He deserves a second chance.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
She bought his memoir. See what do you think?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Though? I would really like to know, does Well Smith
get a second chance? In your book? Everybody deserves forgiveness?

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Classics Classic hits three points, That Crazy Crazy with Christie
Live in Morning drops.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
All right at eighty minutes of commercial free music coming up,
along with some free tickets to see the Blues Travelers
Jim Blossoms Spin Doctors at the Mountain Winery at seven twenty.
But right now we're headed out on the Crazy Train
where we go and producer Krina.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
We're going to Houston?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Or three teenage girls have been arrested, Uh huh for
trying to kill their mom.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
What, Karina, where did you even come up with this?

Speaker 5 (03:07):
On like the front pages of a couple of places.
Why do you think they try to kill their mom?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
This involves social media because she turned off the Wi Fi.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I knew it had something to do with the internet.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
She turned off the Wi fi. The three teenage girls
tried to attack her, she managed to run out of
the house.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
You're kidding.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Somebody called the cops as they were trying to chase
the mom down to attack her, and luckily she's fine.
They did not stab her or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
What is going on?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
And cops came and all three girls are now in
juvenile hall, all because the mom turned off the WiFi
and would it turn it back on for them?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
What is wrong with kids? Right?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
That's what I said, But really, what was your parenting
style before the WiFi? Because Christy, I'm just saying, like,
there's no way I would even look at my mom crazy,
let alone try and even like talk back to her.
Are you because my ms Ruthie didn't play right? Your
mom does not play It wouldn't even get to escalating

(04:10):
that far.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Christy, you couldn't even give your mama a look.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I wouldn't even think about it. No, m I'm sorry,
I just can't. This is no, it's not happening. I
just want to know what the pant. I'm just saying,
kids are gonna be kids.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
But where Let see?

Speaker 3 (04:27):
What was your parenting style before your kids went many
over the WiFi? I don't know, but I'm glad the
mom is okay me too.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Do you take your kids back?

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Do you bail them out?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
That is a good question you want to tell you
you want to jump in on that one.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
You can always leave a talk back or call because
I would be interested.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
You know we don't have kids, but I'm just saying, parenting,
what was that before your kids went crazy over the WiFi?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I don't leave got there after Daily Crazy News.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
You ride the Crazy Train every weekday at seventeen and
and it's always on demand. Catch up on your stories

Speaker 2 (05:06):

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Minutes of NonStop music and free concert tickets. Coming up
next Michael and Guns N' Roses on the Way. Christie
Live eight thirty one on Classic Kits one oh three
point seven.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Thank you so much for listening this morning. I'm Christie.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Producer Karina is here And you know, I was off
the past couple two days. Went walking around the lake
because it was so beautiful and in Oakland. Walking into
the lake, this guy comes up to me and he's like, hey,
he has a little pouch in front of him. You
wanna buy a puppy? It's like what you could buy
anything at the lake in Oakland. I was like how much.

(05:42):
I'm not like I'm buying a dog. I just want
to see what is for puppies these days. Yeah, he
was like five hundred. Oh, that's actually not bad. What
do you mean not bad for a puppy?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Five hundred dollars? I don't even know.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
I don't know dogs like that. It was the dog
in his pouch at the lake. Five hundred dollars was
crazy to me. So I was wondering because you know,
a couple years ago I was talking about my friend Ashley,
who breeds dogs, and she was like, oh, you know,
also one for like three thousand a dog.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
Yeah, it's a lot of money for some dogs. My
friend has spent over four grand or two dogs.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Is it a magic dog?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
It just depends on the breed.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I don't care what it is.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
But the question is do you buy a dog from
the dude at the elake or someone I don't know
selling it for thousands of dollars or do you just
go adopt a dog? I mean, there's plenty of dogs.
What does a shelter dog cost you? Like what twenty
thirty bucks?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Uh? Probably free?

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Less than five hundred okay one eight sixty six nine
hundred one three seven. Tap the red microphone on our
app if you want to jump in for.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
This morning's great debate.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Do you adopt a dog or do you buy a
dog and spend racks on racks on racks? That is
the question this morning producer Krina.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
I am adopting all the way my last dog, Banita.
She's an adoptee. Oh yeah, I know, not really a
dog's but we'll just go ahead leave it there.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Christy Live? It's eight forty eight and is it better
to adopt a pet or buy one? That is this
morning's great debate on Classic Kids one of three point
seven Steven.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
Adopting dogs would be a lot better than spending thousands
of dollars.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Thank you. Thousands of dollars on a dog. That's crazy
to me.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
Unless it's pure bread.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
That's still crazy.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
It's because you can breed them and then make a
life twenty off of them.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Well, thank you so much, Steven.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Team adopt all the way, Nikila team, adopt.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
A dog or buy one.

Speaker 8 (07:56):
I think it makes sense to buy a dog if
you've got some special reason, like you're allergic or you
know you need a special breed, because that's what gets
along with kids.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I guess that is a good point or a way
of looking at it. I mean, you get what you
pay for.

Speaker 8 (08:10):
Not like I'm getting a dog, but okay, you know
that's kind of what led me to want one.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Okay, that's fair. All right, Thank you so much. Have
a great day, you too.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Got a talk back from our app for this morning's
great debate.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Are you a team adopt a dog or buy one?

Speaker 7 (08:32):
I'm all about adopting. There are a million animals out
there that need adoption, that are already born, that it's
just so unethical now to buy. So rescue those babies and.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Save your money at the same time. Thanks for the talkback.
What do you think team? Adopt a pet or buy one?
You can leave a talk back by tapping the red
microphone on our free iHeartRadio app to join this morning's
Great Debate, or just pick up the.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
Phone and call Christy live.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
In the midst of the Great Debate? Should you adopt
a dog or buy one? Trash adopt?

Speaker 7 (09:16):
We have too many lets you send out there for
every dog you want, so you could literally adopt the
dog you want with that vote to a private reader.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Yes, get the private breeder. Listen to trash, save your money.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Thanks for the call. Got a couple of talkbacks from
our app.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
HI, Good morning girls.

Speaker 8 (09:33):
It's Seena from Aren weighing in on the Great Debate.
Can I just say that I really wish that adoption
agencies would make it a lot easier. I know so
many people that try to go through this process and
end up buying a pet because they really make it hard.
I mean it's like it's easier to, like, you know,
buy a car and like do anything but adopted dog.

(09:56):
So really make it easier adopted dog?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
All right, adopt is it difficult? I thought you just
go in and just buy one.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Now you got all these PaperWorks to fill out. Sometimes
they even want to look at your home environment.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
You got to be kidded. I'm not okay, you got
another talk back.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Good morning, Christy, Good morning Karina. This is Jeff from Florida.

Speaker 9 (10:13):
I have two adopted pets and two dogs that I bought.
It was twenty five hundred apiece because we want a
special breed and I want to adopt two dolls out
the shelter.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
So I go both.

Speaker 9 (10:25):
Ways, teams adopt and team by y'all, have a nice day.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
You love y'all. Bye. Twenty five dollars boy bye.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Wow, that's a lot for a dog. That's a mortgage.
That is the dog cooking you dinner. Get the breed,
the breed.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
That lays eggs and cut you dinner.

Speaker 8 (10:42):
Lay.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I'm just saying, wow, thank you Jeff for the talk.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Fact. Yes, indeed, where do people stand for? This morning?
Is great debate.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Adopt the dog, don't buy a dog, save your money.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, unless she'll breed that lays eggs, plumps shell gas
and rubs your feet. Yeah, I'm just saying it's rough
out here.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
