Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to Morning Drive with Christie Live on demand,
starting it off in the seventies.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This morning on Classic Kids one of three point seven.
It is five point fifty six Good morning, and Benny
and the Jets.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Who are Benny and the Jets. Producer Karina is here.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
My name is Christy and it is actually not a
real group but a futuristic girl band that Elton John
said inspired the song that's so random, so random, but
you know Susue Studio by Phil Collins. Yeah, also super random.
He was in the studio and he's like, suo susn

(00:37):
SIUs sus Sue studio and he said nothing else went
with the beat of the song. So he was like, okay,
we'll keep it Susue Studio.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
It is, I mean, sometimes it works. It clearly works.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
It's like the Christy Chaka Khan's on the Chaka Khan
Chuck a Khan Like that was a whole mistake because
the tape kept going back back back, Shaka Khan, Chaka Khan.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Check you know Shaka Khan. Let me recular. Thank you,
hey all, I want to do Okay, we.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Feel for you this morning, especially because you have to
listen to that song right there, and we feel for
you if you were headed into San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Heads up, the Bay Bridge has already been insane.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I don't know what's going on this week with the
Bay Bridge, but there is an accident.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Heads up, it's on the right side.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So if you think you're doing something by trying to
sneak through the carpool lane on the right side, it's
like right there when you come off, so try and
lean on over to the left hopefully you can get
into San Francisco. It's right after the metering lights, so
once you get past that, it's wide open provided people
don't speed.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
And then there's yet another accident.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
So just give yourself tim if you're headed into San Francisco,
and uh yeah, we got music to help you get
through this morning drive from mister SUSUS studio, Phil.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Collins on the way Christie Live that voice man.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It's six fourteen on Classic Hits, one of three point seven.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Hi there, my name is Christy.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
My name and the robot takeover has officially begun, especially
in San Francisco. It is crazy that there was a
parade of robots just walking down the street in the
city yesterday. Somebody who was driving caught it all on
video and they said, well, just another day in tech city.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Really it's not just one robot. There was quite a
few of them.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
There's like ten robots walking amongst a group of people.
I guess they might have been headed to this place
where they do VR controlled humanoid fight matches.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
What is going on in the world right now?

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Why is this a thing?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
One of them accidentally trips.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I saw that.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
I'm like, oh, just like everybody else tripping on the
Bay Area sidewalks.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Robots are just like us. They are no can we
please stop the madness.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
We don't need robots roaming around San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
This is the prequel times for the Terminator. I'm just saying,
to see.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Them all together like that, he's actually pretty cool. I mean,
we got robot dogs roaming around Golden Gate Park, do we?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Because I haven't seen one, Yeah, seen them on video. Yeah,
not in person, but you have to see all these
little robots. I would like a robot. Uh huh. I
don't need a robot. The only robot I need is
Johnny five.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Okay, let's take the short circuit robot and that's all
we need from back in the day. We don't need
the humanoid robots heading to a fighting match to train
to kill us later.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
You know that is a big thing here is robot fights.
Since Win, it's been like over a couple of years now.
People love to see the robots fight. Oh gosh, we
should go it start, we should go to one.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Okay, if you've been to a robot fight or you
own one of these humanoid robots, please call us, let
us know what's up so we can watch our back,
know what to watch out for. One eight, six, six,
nine hundred one three seven I'm serious. Or tap the
red mic on our free iHeart radio app. You can
leave a talk back and let us know how you
feel about the takeover. Next on Classic.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Kids, this is Christie's News you can use.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Oh man, I wish I had better news about your
morning commute, but it's kind of jacked up. If you're
headed into San Francisco this morning, let me turn producer
Creas microphone on.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
It's okay, that would help, Thank you, Christy. If you're
headed towards the Bay Bridge, there is a crash. Unfortunately,
it's blocking to two right lanes right after the toll plaza.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
They have issued a traffic advisory.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Traffic is backed up north eighty from the Diamond Lane split,
and then westbound eighty you're already backed up beyond like.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Golden gate Field.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
So just a heads up, it's gonna be pretty rough
morning into San Francisco, yep. And if you're trying to
take Bart, just to heads up, they're gonna start charging
more for parking at seven different stations. You have until
July first to start scraping your coins together. But they
said there's demand based a just mit parking policies that

(05:02):
are gonna go into effect. Basically, the more people who
want to park there, they're probably gonna charge more. Glenn Park,
Rock Ridge, Walnut Creek, West Oakland, expect to pay more.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
If you park at Bart. That sucks. Yeah, that does.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
And if you're waiting in line or you drive by
a Trader Joe's and you see people lined up, they're
doing another bag drop. I mean Trader Joe's is dropping
bags like Louis Vauton and er May's out here and
people are lining up for these new insulated many tote bags.
Whenever Trader Joe's got going on, Man, if you can

(05:36):
get your hands on one. They're three dollars and ninety
nine cents and people are already paying one thousand dollars
for the not a thousand dollars. My godson works a
Trader Joe. Come on, you know I got all the
colors of the other little mini canvas ones. Oh I
wouldn't know because I did not get one. You should
tell your godson or your goddaughter to get a job
at Trader Joe. Ay.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
That does pay good, really good at trader That's a
great job.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
And people seem nice and happy at Trader Joe always Okay. Well,
like I said, if you see people out there have them,
you know, maybe get you one so you can make
some extra money on the backhand, Stop.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Seven listen for free Adaman and Squeeze tickets. That your news.
You could use This Thursday at six thirty.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Three Christy's Crazy Trained News.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Today, the Crazy Train is headed out to Dallas, Texas,
where a man who owned a cyber truck doesn't have
it anymore after he decided to drive straight into the
water to test its wade mode feature. I saw this,
A lot of people did, Karina. The video has gone viral.
This tesla in the middle of the lake. What are
you thinking? What is a wade mode feature? I guess

(06:48):
the Tesla has a feature where you can drive through
shallow waters.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Oh okay, you know I've been saying through the water.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
That does not mean head to your local lake and
drive off the boating doc into the water. Sir.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
It is not a hovercraft. It is still a tough cybertruck.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
So not only did he lose his cyber truck, dumb, dumb,
he is now facing charges. Actually yeah, they said he
was operating a vehicle in a closed section of the
park and he didn't have a valid boat registration.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
So shady. That's funny. You play stupid games and you
win stupid prizes, sir. Trash does not be long in
the water. Ooh, I'm just kidding. Cancel Karina, not Christie.
She's the kind one.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
They do say cyber truck drivers are some of the
most bullied drivers on the road.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
People don't like those trucks.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Man.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
That's your crazy news.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Ride the Crazy Train every weekday at seven ten and
nine ten, and it's on demand for you anytime. Just
go to Classic Kids one O three to seven dot com.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Christie Live.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Okay, we're gonna play a game, Karina. You can play two.
See if you can.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Guess this classic eighties television.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Do you know it? I want to say it's growing pains,
but I think I'm wrong. You are definitely wrong. Let
me play a little bit more and see if you
can guess what it is.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I do you know it?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Family ties? Sorry it your screen is failing this morning.
And if you're in your car yelling at her saying
Who's the Boss? Tony Danza Alessa Milano, then you are correct.
Do you remember the little boy who was Judith.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Light's son Danny Pinara, Yes, yes, Well he is all
grown up now and you know what he's doing?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
What delivering Amazon packages?

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Is he?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (08:44):
He is?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
He said, this is the life of a child actor,
especially someone who survived child acting in the eighties. He said,
I have to do what I have to do to
keep on going, and there is absolutely no shame in
my game. Danny Pintaro, the actor who played on Who's
the Boss, said he overcame a crystal meth addiction after
he grew up, and now he's got to just do

(09:07):
what he gotta do.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Christy doesn't even make money from Who's the Boss?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
You would think all the residuals right. No, he was
talking about that too. So Amazon last year bought all
eight seasons and I got a check for about four
thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I definitely make more money working for Amazon than I
do selling the.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Show to Amazon, which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
He's making more money delivering packages now than he made
on Who's the Boss. But that's just a note this morning.
If you are headed to work and you're like, oh gosh,
I gotta do this, or you think something is beneath you,
just know you gotta do what you gotta do. Ain't
no shame in anyone's game, as long as you're making
an honest living handle your business.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
It's Classic Hits every Tuesday and Thursday.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Also talk about the crazy viral trends and things happening
in the world that just make you shake your head
and say you got it. And that's exactly what you'll
say when you hear about the latest cafe. Tell you
about it next on Classic Kids.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Christy Live eight.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Fifty on Classic Kits one of three point seven, and
things in the world sometimes just make you shake your
head and say, you gotta be kidding me, And that
is exactly what you'll say when you hear about the
newest speak easy going to a cool new bar.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
It's always fun.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
But the serial killer speak easy in Fresno maybe not
so much.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
If Don Mara would do a drink, would you take it?
Welcome to the serial killer speaking. This is more for admiration.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
But if you are looking to do something a little
bit more unique with your nine, why not enjoy a
monologue from a sheriff who called gayse and with each
horror told, enjoy a curated cocktail.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
It is something that's a little bit up my alley
because I do love this is someone who watches Dateline
to go to sleep.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I'm sorry. It's a ninety minute experience. You basically are
in an immersive true crime event. They tell the stories
of all of these serial killers, from Ted Bundy to
Jeffrey Dahmer to Ed Gaine, and then each case is
paired with a delightful cocktail like the Friendly Stranger.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Or Apartment two one three or Killer Clowns.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
You gotta be twenty one or older and clearly be
a little off to enjoy something like this thing is crazy?

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Is Chica have a drink called Jack the Ripper Because
you're gonna get ripped by the end of the night
with a cocktail.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Okay, I just think of the victims, Karna, while you're
out here making jokes. Gotta be kidding me.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Christy's Crazy Train.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
They do say.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Cyber truck drivers are some of the most bully drivers
on the road. People don't like those trucks.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
This is Christie's News.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
You can use something news.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Start your day with news you can actually use, Like
if you were headed into San Francisco. Unfortunately, there was
a major accident. This happened on our way to work
Karina earlier this morning before six am, and it is
still blocking traffic after the metering lights on the Bay Bridge.
So if you're headed into San Francisco, give yourself extra
time or maybe take BART.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
If you do take Bart. Unfortunately, though, it's gonna cost
you more to park there now.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Bart just announce that they are going to increase parking
fees at the stations that are utilized the most, like
Rock Ridge or West Oakland. The good news is that
doesn't go in effect, go into effect, I should say
until July first.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
And Christy.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Yesterday, Trader Joe's released their mini Summer Fun insulated bags.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
So if you see people lined up at Trader Joe's,
it's because of these bags. People are going crazy and
they're selling it for up to thousands of dollars.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
They only cost four bucks.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I need to get my godson Bryson on the phone
because that's how I got the little mini tote bag
because he works at Trader Joe's.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Shout out to my boy b B.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
