Speaker 5 (06:54):

Speaker 4 (06:55):
H yeah? Okay, So you you remember shooting as the DM,
you have a you have a secret that you can
tell the people in your life about.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Yeah? I do?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Okay, are you in it? Let's before we get it.
I just want to make sure you in like a
safe place in your house or work or wherever you are.
Were like the wrong people won't hear?

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Yeah? I can talk now, okay, thank you?

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Tell me Rowan, what do you want to confess?

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Well, basically, you know, I found out that my girl
was a teenage mom. And I really don't know how
I feel about it, and I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
I should do. Oh okay, so she was a teenage mom.
She's she's not still a teenage mom. That's my first question.
What's going on?

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Well, you know, I mean basically we've been dating for
six months, you know, and you know, everything's you know.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Really going great.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
I mean I was actually feeling like she's the one.
But I mean what's crazy is you know, when you
feel you're telling everybody everything about your life and you know,
like starting to you know, meet the family and all
this other stuff. I mean, I just found out that
when she was a teenager, you know, when she was
like fifteen and seventeen, she had two kids that she

(07:58):
put out up for adoption.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
But she never told me, Oh what, okay, yeah two kids.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Now she's twenty nine, okay, Yeah, I mean, and like
I just feel like really hurt and betrayed that she
didn't like trust to tell me this, and that it
just kind of came out, like, you know, from like
another family member. Is really how I found out. Oh
you know, I kind of overheard it. Yeah, And so
I mean I don't know if it was something she
was going to tell me or didn't want to tell me,

(08:24):
or I don't know, I mean, And so to me,
it just feels like if she didn't tell me that, like,
is the whole relationship a lie? I mean, And what
should I do? I mean, should I continue seeing her?
I mean? And so that's why I reached out to you.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
And that's because here, I mean, here's my initial thoughts,
and I'm just kind of kind of let him flow out.
And please don't be offended if anything is maybe seems
a little judgmental, it's not. I'm processing. I'm processing what
you've had a little bit of time to process. So
my my like initial thought is like why why is
it any of your business? That would be my initial
thought because my philosophy being or my thought being, I

(09:03):
remember fifteen and seventeen year old me and twenty nine
year old me, and those are like, those are very
different people, you know what I mean, Like, I don't
know if I've told my wife everything that I did
when I was fifteen and seventeen. Granted, sending a child
to adoption is a different story than that is.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
You know what I mean, I do, but I mean,
I don't know what like legalities are, like can these
kids show up again if we have a future together,
you know? And then like, to me, it's more about
like not trusting me to like share something that seems
like a huge, super huge part of your life or
you know whatever, you know, like I've had issues, you
know with you know, my dad, and like I shared

(09:43):
that with her. Well, to me, I just feel like
if you're opening up, you know, you would at some point,
you know, at least share some part of it or
be like, you know, I made a few mistakes or
at least allude to it. And it just doesn't seem
like anything had come up. And then all of a sudden,
you know, like the I don't know curtains ripped open,
and then there's all these secrets you know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Then my other thought is when is the appropriate time
to tell? Obviously that's not a first date conversation, is
you know, it depends where you guys are at in
your relationship, Like are you said you've been dating for
six months, you're thinking she's the one, so like have
you guys moved in together? Have you talked about marriage?
Like where it depends where you guys are at in

(10:25):
those conversations, and I don't know where Hey, I had
two kids that I had adopted when I was a teenager.
I don't know where those fit into that certain like
what is the Russian doll thing? You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I mean to me, it's
like more about like, you know, is it a lie
for not disclosing?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Is it not a lie?

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Like is a trust?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Is it not?

Speaker 5 (10:46):
Like I mean? And I don't know, like do I
have to wait to see if another shoe drops or not?
I have no idea.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
I see there being questions, and I understand kind of
where you're coming from. Let me do this. I've I've
never adopted a child or or had a child of
mine adopted in neither of you. So let's let's reach
out to the people. Maybe someone out there has, maybe
someone has had a similar experience in northeast Ohio, and
they they can share their insights. So we'll hang up

(11:12):
here and then you just keep listening and take whatever
advice you want to do with whatever. How's that sound
all right? Co caller text Rowan just found out his
girlfriend of six months adopted away two babies when she
was a teenager, and he just found out about it
from someone else, not from her. What should he do
about this whole thing? Caller text, it's the same number

(11:33):
two one six five seven eight ninety six five.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Also hit us up on that free iHeartRadio app. If
you're listening there, red microphone comes right here to the studio.
Baby fun Berky got one thousand bucks coming up for
you in the next twenty minutes. We're paying your bills
On ninety six five Kiss FM. It's the job My
show Cleveland chiming in about your cleveling confessional today, Rowan
had a secret found out.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
That my girl was a teenage mom.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
All right, let's start with joining us on the show now,
brookekod afternoon, Aggirling. I'm lovely, thank you so much for asking.
Here's what Rowan just confessed to us.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
I found out that my girl was a teenage.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Mom, so she adopted her two babies away when she
was a teenager. He just found out about it, not
from her, from someone else. He's debating on what to
trust about this relationship. What do you think?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
I think first, whoever told.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Like way out of line that was not their business?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
A tale, right?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
And I think second, he should wait for her.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
To say something because it's really.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Not his business until she's ready.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
To tell him. And I think he should just.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Wait see what she says, and then if she doesn't
bring it up and he.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Has an issue with that, then he should just make
his exit left.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Okay, not even.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
Say no, it's not his his.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
He shouldn't be like, hey, you had two kids put
up for adoption.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
He doesn't know what she went through, right.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
He doesn't know that made her feel mentally not.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
I know what. That was my first way when I
started to give him advice, I'm like, I don't want
to be rude, but it's kind of none of your business,
bro right.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Just saying it.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
I heard you say it, and I'm like, say it, so.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Yeah, he just needs to chill out and and yeah,
like you said, it's you. You don't know what this
girl went through to put her in her position where
she had to adopt away two kids. So you just
need to chill out and let her be ready to
tell you. So basically, that's what I was trying to
figure with him. When in the relationship, timeline is the

(13:35):
place to tell Rowan, But the answer is when she
is ready exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Oh, you should have said it, and you were like
I heard you. I was like, go ahead say it.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I needed you apparently, I needed you to get me
into it.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
And that mean I'm just one person. But that's what
I think. I think he should wait, it's not his business.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
The text are the text are agreeing with you? He
gets you with a couple out of three three Oho,
it's really none of his business. Six months agogether does
not allow you the secrets of a lifetime. I've been
with mine for twelve years and he still doesn't know
about things that have happened before him. Either. Another text
four fro either she stays, either she's the one or not. Dude,
No one's perfect and love certainly is.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Not exactly yes because they know what they're talking about.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
I love it. Well, thank you for for dragging the
right thing out of me. It's it's time when she's
ready rowing mind you business.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Where she's ready, Mike for business, not six months, I
mean come or.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
Thank you so much for chiming in and thank you
for listening.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I appreciate you, thank you, I love you, guys.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Si Jeremia Show ninety six five Kiss FM. We'll go
commercial free for you coming up here after this and
ookyp with the Mean Girls coming to play House Square
the Broadway program end of the month. We'll look you
up at four thirty month on the show. My oldest
Eli's twelve. He recently got to watch his first like

(15:10):
really scary movie, like we watched A Quiet Place, but
I'm talking like the classics. He watched Texas Chainsaw Mascre
with his buddies and I allowed it. I don't know
if I got wife permission for that or not, so
I might have to deal with that. But like his
buddies are all twelve, thirteen or whatever, I remember like

(15:32):
watching a scary movie and it just imprinting on me
until the end of time. I'm not talking about when
my parents took me to see Devil's Advocate in the
theater in the nineties. That was a horrible idea. What
I'm talking about is that first do you remember that
first scary movie that you saw? That you can as

(15:57):
soon as I said that, you thought of what the
movie is? I want to know what it is? Two
one six seven ninety six five. Oh, you can call
her text, it's the same number. Tell me what that
movie was, because I want to know. I can't remember
the title of the one that it was for me.
I remember my aunt Nancy was babysitting us one Friday

(16:19):
or Saturday night, it had to be around Halloween time.
We went down to I think we went down to ig.
This was in Ritmand, by the way, Shanna, Wayne County,
Wayne County, and in Ritman we had we still got
our IgA there, but we had a movie rental section.
It was like a little fenced off area in the

(16:40):
middle of the grocery store where we could rent all
the movies. That's why I saw all the classics of
the nineties and she rented. Was it called jack o' Lantern?
It was a it had to be a nineties movie.
I can't I would. I can't remember what it was called.
But the villain was some sort of pumpkinhead creature, I think.

(17:05):
And the one, the one thing I specifically remember about
that movie, there was a scene where inside the girl
was cutting up some toast with butter, and outside someone
was being murdered and it kept cutting back and forth
and that really whoa. That really hit me in the scaries.
Not gonna lie nightmares about that one. So thanks Ant Nancy,

(17:28):
appreciates you for that. I've gotten over it now, but
it was traumatizing for a minute. Uh what was that
movie for you? Or if you know what the movie
I'm talking about is, that's that very specific scene whether
the person's cutting up like toast and butter into like
weird slices, but then someone's getting murdered on the outside
in the movie. I can't remember what it was. If

(17:48):
he helped me out there, I'd appreciate it, and then
also share that first movie you watched as a kid,
the first scary movie that has just imprinted in your
brain forever. Two six ninety six to five. Oh, hit
us up on the app to that red microphone. It's
called a talk about.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Cleveland Number one Kiss station, Kiss Mean Girls.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
The musical coming to play House Square. We're hooking you
up here just a few minutes on the chair of
mine show Its ninety six to five Kiss FM. I
gotta get to these calls talking about the movies that
triggered us, like we watched them, probably a little bit
too young, and they've just they've stuck in our brains.
My son, he's twelve, watched Chexast Chainsaw Masker. You know
what probably a little bit too early, but that's fine.

(18:31):
Someone said Jaws Angela from Stowe, Uh watched The Exorcist
when she was in first grade. Oh my god, that's amazing.
All right, let's go to ann now and good afternoon,
hitar are all. What's going on in gosh?

Speaker 6 (18:48):
So you got me really triggered with the scary movie situation.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Because I triggered myself when I was thinking about it. Honestly,
when I was like, I was sitting there and I
was like, oh my gosh, my son just watched Texas
Chrainshaw Masker, and I was triggered for whatever this gosh
darn pumpkin movie is, and it instantly struck fear inside
my body. So what movie did that for you?

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (19:09):
It was a rachnophobia.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
Yes, I am so terrified of spiders.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Even to this day.

Speaker 6 (19:18):
And because of that movie, I cannot eat Captain Crunch.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
I've never seen it. What happened?

Speaker 6 (19:25):
So basically, it's just this terrible movie about spiders being everywhere.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
I know that part. What's the Captain Crunch scene.

Speaker 6 (19:32):
There's a scene where there's spiders in the cereals.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Now I'm triggered. Thank you for triggering me. I appreciate that,
my pleasure. Thanks her. Called I have a great day
by Marianna in Cleveland. Good afternoon, Hey girl. Okay, Marianna,
So what was actually? Yeah? What was? What was the
movie that triggered you? Or do you know the one
I'm I was trying to figure out. That's the other
thing I'm trying to do.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Unfortunately, I do not know the movie that you're.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Talking about that I'm interested. So I'm going to be
listening to when you figure it out so I can
watch it.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
Yeah, right, what movie triggered your first stuff?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Okay, I'm a little older. So my movie's from the eighties?
Basket Case. Do you ever see a basketcake case?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
No?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
What is it? What's the plot of basket Oh? Does
the guy have a basket head?

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Okay, so this guy he has a twin brother. Right,
it was deformed, right, and I guess it was like
come joined and I guess they cut it away or whatever.
But it's like this deformed blobs with arms. Oh the
other twin that's normal. He carries it around in a
basket and the skin goes around getting out the basket

(20:39):
killing people.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Look at this. I google I'm on IMDb looking at
the pictures right now. Oh my god, the main guy is.
There's another throwback for you. The main guy is. It's
the one Caddy from Caddy Shack, like the main character.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yes, I recognize him.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
Yes, look at that melty gross face. What were they
doing in the eight Yes, seriously.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yes, I have two.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
And then there's another one.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
It was called The Brood where this like crazy lady
will get these sacs on her body and these facts with.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Her into a hope. Unto killer Babies.

Speaker 6 (21:11):
They ran around in yellow trench coats killing people.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Oh my gosh, I think I remember this VHS cover
from like when I would go to the movie store.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yes, oh killer that the lady was having from sex
from sex on her body.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Yes, oh my god. That is gross. Okay, well there

You probably knew that. Did you know that in potassium

read that wrong. Bananas contained about four hundred and fifty

So I did say that. Right now, before you go
throwing at your bananas, except for those brown ones, don't
put them in the freezer. You're not gonna make banana bread.
Throw the brown ones away, keep all the regular bananas,
because if you managed to sit and eat one one
hundred and fifty trillion bananas in one sitting, you would
die from radiation. Poisoning, So keep eating the bananas. The
