Dave and Juliet Pokorny visited the Moth in NYC in 2010. This had such an impact that they came back to Petaluma and created West Side Stories Petaluma. Starting with Cinnabar Theatre and the Pelican Art Gallery, in 2013 West Side Stories Petaluma moved to Sonoma Portworks and in 2015 expanded and added a GrandSlam each December at The Mystic Theatre. The time she was moving out of her condo and got locked in a closet. After waiting a while her Gen Z neighbors heard her and got her out. On the bright side, even though she felt "old" for getting trapped in her closet, she did get her entire deposit back.
After a long day of work, she decides to go into the hot tub. While she's going out, her cat gets into a wild fight with another cat. Patty tries to break it up with her towel leaving her buck naked. The bright side is her cat was find and to her knowledge no one saw her in her "birthday suit".
The 2 times she stayed up all night. The first night was the time her exboyfriend and she went to a Party and he left with another woman, leaving her to stay up all night to get the train. The 2nd was a few months later, when she decided to go out after 11pm, she tried to avoid seeing her ex and went to another bar, and ran into him anyways. On the bright side, he introdcued her to Nate and 21 years later they are still together.
Basketball tryouts at 11, he really thought even though he didn't know the game that well, he would get on the team. When he didn't, the bright side was that he learned he likes individual sports.
