For about the last decade and a half, the surgical team at Rochester’s Quatela Center was a duo – with Doctors Vito Quatela and William Koenig handling all the procedures.
Over the past few years, that team has doubled with the addition of Dr. Ashley Amalfi – who we’ll meet in our next episode – and Dr. Heather Lee – who did her fellowship under Dr. Quatela.
It was early in their relationship that Dr. Quatela realized this was one student he couldn’t let get away.
And a young doctor was about to begin her career under the wing of a celebrated plastic surgeon.
