The Confederacy was systemically racist. The Union, the United States, literally defeated it in this country. That’s real American history. Those pushing critical race theory today are the Confederates of our time. They must be defeated. The battlefield is the classroom.

As we reflect on those we’ve lost, please remember the families of our fallen as well. In addition to losing 151 law enforcement professionals in the line of duty this year, there are 74 widows and 170 children who’ve lost a parent. Line of duty deaths are 2% higher than last year’s historically high levels.

In our society we’ve been taught and commonly conditioned to be linear thinkers – rather than seeing the big picture, the view of the possible. That’s a mistake and its why Governor DeSantis stands firmly opposed and why he’s right to error on the side of civil liberties as opposed to potentially oppressive mandates.

To date 19,803,905 Americans under the age of 25 have received at least a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. This isn’t meant to minimize the impact to those potentially impacted, however the rate of impact is 0.00001% of those who’ve been vaccinated thus far.

The CDC retains its authority to issue edicts from the Commerce Clause in the Constitution. Until Florida’s suit challenging the “no sail” order, the CDC hadn’t had its authority under it legally challenged.

Should the state of Florida pass a law mandating cameras in the classrooms in Florida’s public schools, you’d have uniformity in all of Florida’s 67 school districts and importantly they could provide funding to make it happen.

I had someone ask me yesterday if getting the COVID-19 vaccine was really worth it. The side effects, the unknowns and the hope that the virus itself is mostly on the way out. As someone who doesn’t get annual flu shots but did opt for the Moderna vaccine my answer was and is an emphatic yes.

Going forward, with a combination of an increase in storm activity, more risk adverse insurers, and already ever rising premiums, the age and construction of your home will be scrutinized more than before and homes which don’t meet current standards will likely being seeing the largest increases in premiums.

Starting with the age of 60 there’s a literal 1% decline per year on average in who has chosen to be vaccinated. It’s almost as if it’s scripted. Anyway, the news is encouraging in South Florida as we’re closing in on herd immunity, which by the time those who’ve had it are factored in may already have occurred.

Bill Gates, and the Gates Foundation, has been the biggest supporter of cameras inside of the classroom for the purpose of improving education over the past decade.

State Senator Lauren Book introduced a pilot program to place cameras inside of special education classrooms which passed in this year’s state session. The new program, which will be a test project only conducted in Broward, is aimed at monitoring the treatment of special needs students as opposed to what’s specifically being taught.
