Alters that front can get confused about the inner world vs the outside world . It’s like living in the in between place of both realms of existence. This can be very confusing for the whole system in general. The rules are different in each world and sometimes this can cause major issues within your system.

Besides the trauma that created DID in the first place. The second-hardest part of DID is switching. When I mean hard I mean it’s very very sad indeed. Switching is a protective response to childhood trauma. Your brain learned to do this as a way to deal with the trauma you experienced. Switching is not entertainment but it’s a safety blanket for the abused. #did

Warning contains strong language. Meet Kevin he is a prosecutor in our system. Kevin is 17 years old, and he is intense and opinionated.  He can cause issues within the system and so as the host me Benjamin I have to make the peace sometimes between alters. Having DID is a very complex thing the brain does. Hopefully we will see more Scientific research in this area.
