Measles is back in South Carolina—and it didn’t happen by accident. In this episode, Rick Wilson lays out why RFK Jr. may be the most dangerous member of Trump’s cabinet: a powerful megaphone for anti-vaccine propaganda that is eroding public trust in science and reopening the door to diseases America already defeated. As vaccination rates fall, outbreaks of measles, mumps, rubella, and even polio are no longer theoretical—they’re ...

In this explosive episode, Rick Wilson rips the lid off the DOJ’s choking, years-long effort to bury the Epstein files—those blacked-out, shredded, quietly “misplaced” documents that just happen to shield some of the most powerful men in America. We dig into the redactions, the vanishing evidence, the political pressure, and the revolving-door protectors who ensured Epstein’s network stayed insulated long after his death. From seal...

While Donald Trump’s Great Gatsby party at Mar-a-Lago made headlines for its gold-plated excess, millions of Americans are struggling to pay rent and buy groceries. As the nation faces rising prices, budget cuts, and shrinking safety nets, Trump’s luxury pageantry couldn’t feel more out of touch. Rick Wilson unpacks how Trump’s detachment from economic reality, his austerity policies, and his performative cruelty have deepened Amer...

Donald Trump has literally torn down a piece of America to build himself a dance floor. In this week’s Rick Wilson's The Enemies List Podcast, Rick skewers the Trump East Wing demolition 2025, a $300 million White House ballroom project that turned history into dust and proved—once again—that the worst president in history can’t resist wrecking anything he touches. From bulldozing the People’s House to funding a gilded shrine to hi...

This week, Rick Wilson dives into one of the ugliest political scandals in years — the Young Republican National Federation group chat that revealed a cesspool of hate, racism, and wannabe authoritarian cosplay. In thousands of leaked messages obtained by Politico, state-level GOP leaders joked about gas chambers, Hitler, slavery, and rape -- and revealed the moral rot at the core of a generation raised on grievance politics and Fo...

Trump shut down the government, then tried to hand Democrats the bill like a drunk guy bailing on dinner. Spoiler: nobody’s buying it. Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth waddled into Quantico expecting a standing ovation and got the sound of crickets filing a noise complaint. Two disasters, one week — and Rick’s got the receipts. About The Enemies List: American democracy is being threatened, and Rick Wilson knows exactly who is responsible....

This week’s bombshell: the DOJ, under Trump’s direction, indicted James Comey—a former FBI director long critical of Trump—for allegedly lying to Congress and obstructing oversight. To get it done, Trump purged the existing U.S. Attorney in Virginia and elevated Lindsey Halligan, a political operative turned prosecutor overnight. Within minutes of the indictment, Comey’s son-in-law—then serving as a national security prosecutor in ...

RFK Jr., the brain-wormed anti-vaxxer inexplicably running America’s Department of Health and Human Services, is proof that irony is alive and well. Charged with protecting public health, he’s busy undoing lifesaving mRNA vaccine programs and replacing science with YouTube-level quackery. It’s like hiring a flat-earther to run NASA—except this time the stakes are your health, your kids, and the future of medicine. Follow Lincoln ...

The Smithsonian is under siege. Trump’s latest order demands that our nation’s museums sanitize slavery, sugarcoat oppression, and serve up propaganda in place of truth. This week on The Enemies List, Rick Wilson delivers a double-barreled blast at two dangerous actors inside Trump’s orbit. First up: Steve Witkoff, Trump’s real “acting” Secretary of State, who bumbled his way into a private summit with Vladimir Putin and handed the Russian dictator a propaganda victory. From legitimizing a war criminal to floating a “peace deal” that rewards Russia’s invasion by carving up Ukraine, Witkoff’s incomp...

This week on The Enemies List, Rick Wilson zeroes in on Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s latest authoritarian stunt: a blatantly corrupt redistricting power grab that aims to rig the 2026 election before a single vote is cast. As Texas Democrats flee the state to block quorum, Abbott threatens arrests and removals—desperate moves from a party that knows it can’t win fairly. Rick pulls no punches, calling out the apartheid-style gerryma...

"The idea should be very clear: Trump is going after the media to suppress coverage of the cover-up." The media is becoming complicit in the greatest cover-up in the history of American politics. The Epstein story isn't going away, no matter how hard Trump tries to make it disappear. But now that effort by Trump is pushing our media into a dark place that it may never return from. If American media outlets don't stand up – and mak...

Rick's back to take your questions. You won't be surprised to learn that we got a ton of questions about the Epstein files. In fact, this story is becoming so primary, so massive, that even if a question isn't about the Epstein files, it's still about the Epstein files. Example? William asks about the Supreme Court's shift toward authoritarianism. That might not sound like a question regarding Trump's involvement with Epstein, bu...

Elon Musk jumping into the third-party game? Buckle up. Building a party from scratch is a brutal, Kafkaesque nightmare, and the duopoly hates it. Yeah, he’s got money—big money—but money alone won’t save him from the legal jungle and political vultures circling. If Musk does this right, it could seriously screw up the GOP and maybe mess with the Dems too. If he does it wrong? Well, he’ll just flush a fortune down the drain with a...

    The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
