OCTOPUS AUGUST CONTINUES
This week I dive in to the sequel (?) of last week's movie and check out OCTOPUS 2: RIVER OF FEAR (2001).
In this installment we head to New York City where people are mysteriously disappearing, and it's up to a hard headed detective to convince everyone a giant sea monster is responsible. It's like Alligator or Jaws, but with an octopus.
Does this movie deliver? Or does it disappoint like last wee...
Octopus August starts now!
I kick off the month with, OCTOPUS (2000). A movie that doesn't know whether it's a creature feature, spy thriller or something else. But don't worry, they manage to get in a sneaky JAWS reference that I didn't even notice at first!
Tune in now to kick off a month of squirmy slimy tentacle fun!

Peter Benchley's novel JAWS was adapted into one of the greatest movies ever put to film. But this wasn't the only time he dipped his toes into the world of aquatic horror. He's written a few novels in the aquatic horror world, and one of those was CREATURE.
Featuring some of the best practical shark monster effects ever, this 1998 TV movie doesn't get the attention it deserves. So to celebrate 50 Years of Jaws, I am releasing this ...
MONTH OF ACTION continues this week with Halle Berry's 2012 action adventure shark movie DARK TIDE! Directed by John Stockwell (Into The Blue, Blue Crush)
A rich douche takes his son for an adventure he doesn't want to go on, and shit goes sideways. It's like the Titan Sub story but with sharks.
Check out the MONTH OF ACTION participants
Month of Action Continues this week with the true story of the USS Indianapolis. Stuck at sea for 5 days, and no one coming to the rescue as they're picked off by sharks because the government and military suck. Also, it's directed by Mario Van Peebles!
Luckily I don't have to endure it alone, as Derrick from Bad Movies Worse People joins me to dive into this story mentioned by Quint in JAWS.

It's finally here. I and a slew of other podcaster are celebrating the MONTH OF ACTION!
B-Action and Gimme Back My Action and Horror Movies have recruited us all to a month of non-stop heart pounding action movies.
I kick it off with a film from Canadian filmmaker Brett Kelly, KAIJU GLAM METAL SHARK ATTACK.
So strap your asses in and pucker up those holes for Kaiju action, and stay tuned to the rest of the month for more.

With the amount of butthurt about JAWS reviews from last week's episode on either end of the spectrum, I thought I'd make things fair and read some stellar 5 Star (and some 1 Star) reviews of 1995's Jaws knockoff spectacular CRUEL JAWS a.k.a. JAWS 5
What did you think of the movie? Let me know in the comments!

JAWS is celebrating 50 years since it came out, and while there's those of us that LOVE the movie, what about the people who don't (and are wrong for it)?
Well this week, we dive deep into the 1 star reviews on Letterboxd, iMDB and more, and see what nonsense people have to say.

I'm back with shark movie reviews! This week I take a trip to Malibu which is ruined by god damn goblin sharks and dumbasses, and a love triangle for the ages. Can all the bikini babes and buff dudes save this movie from mediocrity? Tune in now to find out!

Week 3 of GRIZZLY MAY!
This week I dig my incy tincy finger nails into 1977's CLAWS! A JAWS knockoff this is not! It's not even a GRIZZLY knockoff. Although marketed as a GRIZZLY sequel in Canada and Mexico, this movie stands tall on it's own, and all I'm wondering is, where is the blu ray for this?
Watch the movie here.

GRIZZLY MAY continues with director William Girdler's follow up to GRIZZLY (1976), DAY OF THE ANIMALS (1977)!
Starring Leslie Nielson, Christopher George and Richard Jaeckel, the ozone layer is fubar, and the animals get infected, for reasons that are still unclear...
But Leslie Nielson fights a bear, so how bad can it be?

This month, it's all about the BEAR necessities.
Now that that joke is out of the way, it's GRIZZLY MAY! Naturally I start the month off with one of the first and probably best JAWS clones out there, GRIZZLY (1976) which is also one of two JAWS 50 episodes this month!
Join me as I dig my CLAWS into JAWS on land

I know your pants flood just as much as mine when I mention Casper Van Dien and Nicky Whelan in a movie. So this week I checked out 2023's gator flick THE FLOOD. But is there presence enough to keep us wet, or dry us up like my humour?

Eleven years after the original movie, someone decided it was finally time to make a sequel, or remake, or name their own gator movie after it? All this and more is unclear in this week's episode of ALLIGATOR APRIL on ALLIGATOR 2: THE MUTATION (1991). Starring Dee Wallace, Steve Railsback and Richard Lynch. Is it better than the first? Is great? Listen now to find out!

Last week I looked at ALLIGATOR (1980), so naturally I had to see an even better Alligator movie with THE GREAT ALLIGATOR (1979)...right?!
Directed by Sergio Martino and starring Barbara Bach, remember, it's not an animal, it's a demon!

This months JAWS50 episode is on 1980's ALLIGATOR! And, it's also kicking off ALLIGATOR APRIL!
When Ramon (sexy name amiright?) is flushed into the sewers, left to fend for himself, year later he grows into a big mean boy.
From the director of CUJO and starring ROBERT FORSTER, ALLIGATOR is one of the best creature features to come from the JAWS craze.

The Mississippi queen here is about a dozen bull sharks, ruining everyone's time at the fishing rodeo! It's up to a rag tag group to stop them. I could copy and paste that for about 90% of the movies I watch here, but this one is fun!
We take another outing from director Misty Talley (SANTA JAWS, OZARK SHARKS) and dive in to 2017's SyFy Original, MISSISSIPPI RIVER SHARKS starring non other than DAZED AND CONFUSED alum, JASON LONDON ...
Whip out your Big Betty's and join me as we summer in the Ozarks. There's no Jason Bateman or Julia Garner, but we got buff dudes, bikini babes, and a whole lot of bull, sharks.
From director Misty Talley (Zombie Sharks, Santa Jaws) comes another fun romp in the sharskploitation genre with OZARK SHARKS!

After being excited, or at least somewhat intrigued, from the trailer react, I finally checked out 2024's SHARK WARNING!
It has bikini babes, buff dudes, and bad CGI Sharks, but is it enough to warrant a watch? Or is it a warning to avoid at all costs?
