Joe Klusnick, whose home theater was recently featured on Home Theater Geeks, returns to talk about another project he worked on recently: a theater in a senior living community. It uses relatively modest equipment and was not terribly expensive, but it performs quite well and serves an important function for the residents.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is undoubtedly this summer's blockbuster cinema experience. It's the first movie to be shot entirely with IMAX 70 mm film cameras, which have superior resolution and an aspect ratio much taller than most commercial cinemas. If you want to see it as the director intended, you need to see it at an IMAX theater, preferably one of the 25 in North America that are showing it on 70 mm film.
Sony made two disturbing announcements recently—first, it is removing over 500 StudioCanal movies from its online PlayStation Store, so that people who bought those titles will no longer have access to them. Second, Sony will no longer sell games for the PlayStation on physical discs. Is this the start of the slippery slope that leads to the death of physical media more generally?
