A horror fiction podcast designed to provoke creeping dread, unease, and fear. Ghastly Tales episodes range from original pieces of fiction by Scottish writer Michael Whitehouse, to classic stories from Lovecraft, Poe, M. R. James, and many others. These tales span and push the limits of horror as a genre, covering weird fiction, cosmic horror, ghost stories, and many other dark corners of storytelling. Unlike most fiction podcasts, Ghastly Tales creates experimental formats, always aimed at keeping our listeners on their toes with their spines pleasingly tingling. You'll never know quite what to expect, other than having a chill run through your bones and a need to glance nervously over your shoulder to make certain that nothing is there. Come, stay a while...
