Set in the design department of a romance novel publisher, Torsos of Desire follows a nameless narrator who is looking for love and isn’t afraid to pursue whatever, and whoever, she wants — even if it means going on a wild goose chase full of baseball players, cover models, and feuding authors. She is derailed though when her iPhone breaks and she has to go to the Apple store to get it fixed. But, that turn of events leads her to Paul, a very fine Apple store employee who helps her out.
Pages 22 – 43. The narrator gets a new coworker and oversees her first photoshoot. She also encounters a cover model named Diego.
