In October of 2015, 22 year-old Susie Sievers vanished from the town of Moonpark, Arizona. A week later, two wrists and a leg were found in a dumpster behind the Circle K. For two years, the murder has remained unsolved. Lawrence Davies, an almost-award-winning journalist, and his producer, Casey Palmer, have stumbled on a cold-case in one of the hottest places on earth.

A mysterious email sends Lawrence Davies and his producer Casey Palmer down a rabbit hole. But instead of rabbits, they discover an unsolved murder in a small Arizona town.
Casey decides this story may be worth pursuing, while Lawrence gets acquainted with the locals. The Sheriff wants to sell him a car, and the D.A. is completely incompetent. Will Lawrence and Casey make any progress on this mystery?
Lawrence and Casey try to give the victim a voice. Unfortunately it's the voice of a really mean girl. Murder is wrong and all, but did she have it coming?
Why did the nicest guy in Moonpark "allegedly" chop up his girlfriend? Lawrence and Casey sit down with Josh to find out if he's really great or pure evil.
Could Josh have picked up the "murder things" in just 10 minutes? Lawrence and Casey race through Walmart to check out his alibi.

Lawrence and Casey finally make it out of Moonpark. Casey's in downtown Chicago rubbing elbows with Mad Men, while Lawrence is making nice with the locals in Libertyville. Will they get closer to solving this case and still have time for a slice of deep-dish?
Apparently Moonpark's Sheriff now cares about this cold case and has an update that throws Lawrence and Casey off their game. Lawrence is determined to win, and with Casey's big find, they may still be in the lead.
All roads (including Bell) lead here. In the season finale of Murder We Wrote, two sensational trials rock Moonpark. Will justice be served? Will the mystery be solved? And will Lawrence and Casey ever get out of Moonpark? Or was the Lyft driver right all along?
