Modern audio drama presented by an award winning group from the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Most productions have been recorded in front of a studio audience. The Texas Radio Theatre Company has been recording since 2001.

Diving back into the Schlock Audio Theatre archives, we visit with Charles Pratt, co-creator of Schlock Audio, play their treatment of Ed Wood Jr.'s infamous "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and hear Charles' comments afterward.

The "Ed Wood Jr" of Audio Drama is featured in this podcast: Judson Fountain. In the late 1960's Judson took it upon himself to produced radio dramas for "radioland". He pressed them to vinyl and sent them to area radio stations. Not unlike Florence Foster Jenkins it's the passion of the artist, not the skill level that gives these pieces a curious appeal.
A new feature called MAD-R which stands for "Modern Audio Drama Revisited". First we listen to Colossus of New York produced by Schlock Audio Theatre and Columbia Audio Theatre around 2004. Then we speak with co-creator Charles Pratt about the work and about Schlock Audio Theatre in general.
