In 2001, Mony and Alberto walked 5000 kms from Rome to Jerusalem. For peace. 25 years later, their inner walk for peace continues, with many spiritual teachings since then, culminating in the vision of A Course in Miracles that they now live. In this podcast, they will walk their pilgrimage for peace once again, looking at the experiences that most marked them, offering an interpretation that deepens healing, removes the illusion of separation, division and conflict, and brings a #peace that unifies and loves.
In this episode of the WALKING FOR PEACE PODCAST, Alberto and I reflect on the many ways we were cared for, guided, and supported during the early days of our pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem.
As we revisit these stories twenty-five years later, a deeper theme begins to emerge. Beyond the practical challenges of finding shelter, transportation, food, and safety, we were being invited into a profound lesson in trust.

In this episode of the WALKING FOR PEACE PODCAST, Alberto and I explore one of the most human aspects of any spiritual journey: the challenge of relating when life is calling us into the unknown.
As we reflect on the early days of our pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem, we revisit the fears that arose as we stepped away from familiar identities and into a path we could not fully understand.
Alberto shares his fear of hurting those he ...
In this episode of the WALKING FOR PEACE PODCAST, Alberto and I reflect on the deeply symbolic events that surrounded the beginning of our pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem in November 2001.
We revisit the powerful experiences that guided us in those first days — from me (Mony) arriving in Rome alone, to staying at a monastery dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, to receiving an unexpected “blessing” through Pop...
Alberto and I pick up our conversation where we left off last time, in Finisterre.
He speaks about the inner turmoil he was feeling at that time, the signs encouraging him to TRUST, how these signs led him to Germany, and how the threads were woven for us to meet once again and affirm that he is to walk to Jerusalem with me.
Offered, as always, with love.
Mony and Alberto

I may have started my pilgrimages alone, but I certainly didn’t finish alone.
Many of you who have been walking alongside us all these years, listening to our stories, being part of our conversations about the inner journey, the spiritual aspects of pilgrimage…. know very well who @AlbertoAgraso is.
But, rather than me telling you about him, I thought: why not have him share his story directly. His story is very rich ...
In this episode, I speak in depth about the Inner Guide and Teacher, who I presented in previous episodes.
This loving Presence has lovingly and patiently guided my journey, even when I wasn't aware of His Presence or even believed He existed. This Friend brought me:
- A channeled message from my angels to let me know I wasn't alone in my darkest hour.
- The women who had walked before me for peace, so that I would draw strength a...
In this episode, I reflect on the inner journey that unfolded through and beyond our pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem 25 years ago.
What began as a desire to help create peace in the world gradually became a much deeper exploration into the nature of perception, separation, forgiveness, and the healing of the mind.
I share how I was guided to the teachings that would help me understand the true cause of peace, and of conflict. From ...
The walk for peace from Rome to Jerusalem took place within a larger context of changes that were taking place in my life during that time, in 2001.
In this episode, I describe these inner and outer changes. I introduce the idea of BEING WILLING to see things differently - from a paradigm or thought system that does not change with changes in outer circumstances - as a foundation for understanding #peace.
May it serve your journey,...
It seems incredible to me now that the 5000-km walk for peace from Rome to Jerusalem that I embarked on with Alberto was 25 years ago!
It feels like it was just yesterday!
Reading my diaries, going through the pictures and the mementos... made me feel like I was right there once again, experiencing many of the same emotions, recalling all that the moment held.
I recorded this short video while walking in the park, but my hope is to o...
