Multimedia im Netz - WiSe 2010 / 2011

Die Vorlesung befasst sich mit multimedialen Dienstangeboten, die über Datennetze realisiert werden. Dabei werden die Basistechnologien der Rechnernetze nicht behandelt, sondern vorausgesetzt. Die Vorlesung gliedert sich in folgende Bereiche: (1) Grundlagen der Erstellung interaktiver Webangebote: Medieneinbettung in Webseiten, Serverseitige Interaktivität, Web Services, Mashups. (2) Inhaltsbezogene Basistechnologien: Weitere Technologien, die zur Speicherung, Übertragung und Verarbeitung von Multimedia-Daten im Netz notwendig sind, insbesondere Sicherheitsfragen und Rechtemanagement (3) Multimediale Anwendungen und Dienste zur Medienverteilung: Technische Grundlagen und Dienste zur Massenkommunikation (z.B. WebRadio, WebTV, Electronic Books/Magazines) (4) Multimediale Anwendungen und Dienste zur individuellen Kommunikation: Technische Grundlagen und Dienstrealisierung (z.B. IP-Telefonie, Videokonferenz-Technik, Collaborative Media). Die Materialien (Folien) sind in englischer Sprache, der Votrag (Audio) in deutscher Sprache.
