It is officially HATE WEEK. We talk about the teams that we HATE that we play this week. We preview the football game against Virginia Tech (who we HATE), and the basketball game against Michigan State (who we lightly hate).

The Guys recorded this pod but didn't edit it until late...but we still make some great points! We discuss FSU having to cancel their football game against UVA, talk about the basketball team beating Towson, but also the basketball team losing to San Francisco.

We are calling this Double-Episode-Day because Dustin sucks and forgot to drop the pod last week. We suggest listening to that one first. But you don't really have to I guess. The Guys are here to talk about football, and it would be so so easy to be negative about this season. However, we try to keep it positive (for some of the time). We discuss the loss to Wake Forest, the upcoming game against Miami, and we throw in some basketball talk to make the episode not all sad!

The Guys are teaming up with the Alumni Association to bring you a special Homecomings edition of the Guys In Ties! We talk about the last ten football games on Homecomings, our favorite and least favorite football Homecomings memories, and then talk about some different memorable moments from other non-revenue sports. The Hoos tried really hard at Clemson last week but couldn't quite tame the Tigers. The Guys talk about what went wrong, what went right, and we look ahead to this week's game against NC State.

The Guys talk about UVA's first football game and first win of the season! We start off with things we liked from the game, dove into things we want to see improved, and ended with a brief and very positive Clemson preview.

Rob and Dustin are salty and disappointed that VT had to postpone their first football game against the Hoos because they were scared of COVID related issues. We dive into our thoughts about that, our feelings that football is back, and an update on our newest basketball recruit!

Football season is (hopefully) right around the corner, and it's time for Rob and Dustin to debate which position units on the UVA football team are the best. We discuss the top five, the players that make the units good, and we talk about why the bottom three units could still surprise people.

The Guys are back together! Rob and Dustin talk about updates from UVA summer football camp, how we feel about playing VPI as our first game, and updates on former Hoos from the NBA bubble.

Training camp has started and the Guys are here to talk about everything they know...which isn't a lot. We discuss updates from football training camp, jersey numbers, conference drama, and how the basketball season will work.

The Guys are pumped about the ACC releasing how they want fall sports to work. The Guys are super worried that college sports might not happen at all in the fall. We discuss how football and basketball will be affected, which conferences are doing what, and we lament about what we would do without college sports. :(

Rob and Dustin are feeling sentimental and decide to relive some of their favorite UVA sporting events that they've seen in person and on TV.
