Dua for Blessings from the Quranاللَّهُمَّ اجعَلَ القُرآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ بَصَرِي، وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي"O Allah, make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my vision, the remover of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries."

(Bukhari 6616, Muslim 2707)

Dua for keeping our blessingsLinguistic and Thematic Breakdown of the Duaاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفَجْأَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the loss of Your blessings, the change of Your well-being, the sudden arrival of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure." (Muslim 2739)

Dua for Having Halal income & indepedencyاللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ "O Allah, suffice me with Your halal instead of haram, and make me independent by Your bounty from everyone besides You."

The Dua to Turn Our Hearts Towards Obedience يَا مُصَرِّفَ الْقُلُوبِ صَرِّفْ قُلُوبَنَا علَى طَاعَتِكَTransliteration: Yā Muṣarrifa al-qulūb, ṣarrif qulūbanā ilā ṭā‘atika.Translation: "O Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts toward Your obedience."

Dua for Patience, Steadfastness, and VictoryThe Duaرَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Transliteration: Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna ‘ala al-qawmi al-kafireen.

Translation:"Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people." (Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:250)

Dua for Creating a barrier between you & Sinsاللَّهُمَّ اقْسِمْ لَنَا مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ مَا تَحُولُ بِهِ بَينَنَا وَ بَينَ مَعْصِيَتِكَ

Translation: “O Allah, apportion for us fear of You that will serve as a barrier between us and disobedience to You

Dua for Placing your trust in AllahThe Prophet ﷺ said to Fatima (رضي الله عنها): "What prevents you from listening to my advice? Say in the morning and evening: ‘Yā Ḥayy, Yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī shā’nī kullah, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ‘ayn.’" (Narrated by al-Nasā’ī in al-Sunan al-Kubrā)يا حيُّ يا قيُّومُ برحمتِكَ أستغيثُ، أصلِحْ لِي شأنِي كلَّهُ، ولا تكِلْنِي إلى نفسِي طرْفةَ عيْنٍ

The Duaرَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُTransliteration:Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba‘da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta al-Wahhab.Translation: “Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Your presence. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”

The Dua: To Earn the Pleasure of Allahرَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا وَنَبِيًّاTransliteration:Radeetu Billahi Rabba wa bil Islami Deena wa bi Muhammadin Rasoolan wa NabiyyaTranslation:"I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Messenger and Prophet."

Dua for Smoothness & EaseLinguistic and Thematic Breakdown of the Duaاللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ سَهْلًا إِذَا شِئْتَ"O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy. And You can make hardship easy if You so will."

اللَّهُمَّ أَغْنِنِي بِالْعِلْمِ وَزَيِّنِّي بِالْحِلْمِ وَأَكْرِمْنِي بِالتَّقْوَى وَجَمِّلْنِي بِالْعَافِيَةِTransliteration Allahumma aghnini bil-ʿilmi wa zayyinni bil-ḥilmi wa akrimni bi’t-taqwā wa jammilni bil-ʿāfiyahTranslation “O Allah, enrich me with knowledge, adorn me with forbearance, honor me with piety, and beautify me with well-being”
