In this episode, seniors Spencer Lee, Judson Estes, and Tate Ford break down how important it is that we are submitting the words we speak to the Lord. Together, the three dive into what the Bible says about the dangers of the tongue, as well as how this plays out in our world as high school students.

In James 3, James writes to the power that the tongue possesses by highlighting that it is disporportionate in strength to its size, that we are helpless to tame it on our own, and that it reveals our heart. Pastor Zach encourages in this sermon that we would choose to change and let Jesus work on our life because thats when we can truly live set apart in this area. 

As we continue in our Reckless kickoff series called Set Apart, guest speaker Isabella Howard speaks from Luke 7 and examines the story of the immoral woman who meets Jesus to find that He desires authenticity from us in bringing ourselves to Him.

"Until Jesus is enough, we will never find rest." This powerful statement begs the question: "If Jesus was all you had, would He be enough for you?"

They talk about their experiences to prove the fact that you can be physically drained while being spiritually revived. In our exhausting lives, the rest that the world offers pales in comparison to the Holy Spirit within us who brings rest to our souls.

As we kick off a new series on Rest, we dive into Matthew 11:28-30 to find an invitation to take the yoke of Jesus upon us. In the midst of a stressed-out world, we find that allowing Jesus to teach us His way of life see's that we experience rest for our souls in the way that we are truly meant to as followers of Him.
