Life is hard, and marriage isn't easy either. We never have and never will claim to be experts at any marriage other than the one we are in. We Love Christ first and each other second. We have both felt called to make ourselves vulnerable and let others take a look at what our marriage looks like. A podcast feels like a good interpretation of that calling. Please extend us grace as we attempt to discern what that looks like and pray for us as we talk about our decisions to have or not have kids, working in ministry together, career change, prioritizing time and many other big life events.
We share our top 3 (plus some bonus) favorite memories together. The fun part is that we didn't share with each other prior to recording, some surprises created for sure.
The conversation delves into the challenges of correcting children, the purpose and importance of camp, the formative experience of camp, the role of camp in character development, the impact of COVID-19 on children, cultural shifts in parenting and child rearing, the value of the camp experience, and embracing discomfort and growth. Jon and Kim discuss the impact of camp on personal growth and the importance of camp as a formative...
Life is hard. Why do we make it harder trying to make it what we think everyone else says we should make it?
We weren’t meant to walk this journey alone. In this episode, we talk about the power of encouragement — how receiving it sustains us and how giving it strengthens others. We’ll explore how simple words and faithful presence can help others stand firm in their faith.
Another wedding, more preaching, more pictures, everybody love everybody!

Character is what spills out when you're jostled by life and things don't go as planned.
Starts with angry cold rambling and ends in some good scripture and what not.
Stick with us on this one, starts a little slow and silly but is awesome before long!
This is a good one, give is a listen. Tell a friend. Register your kid for camp. Come volunteer.
What a wonderful weekend working in ministry we had!
Probably not as spicy as it sounds
Listen in as we talk about what legacy means to us as Christians and about one person that did it better than just about anyone we know.
FINALLY!!!! I almost forgot how to login and actually record! We did it though, and we've missed you so much. Please give it a listen and let us know what you miss.

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
