This week, we talk to the Rev. Dr. Stephen Chapin Garner and Frank Lyon about the Congregational Church of New Canaan's recent trip to Taybeh, the last remaining all-Christian town in the West Bank. Garner and Lyon, who works for AmeriCares, will make a presentation at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Congregational Church about the visit and what they learned. All are welcome.

In this special Monday edition, we talk to New Canaan resident Dede Bartlett, who is leading a guided walking tour of Lakeview Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday. The tour is free for members of the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society, and $10 for nonmembers (info and tickets here).

A popular fundraiser for Rotary's charitable grant-giving program, Lobsterfest this year will be offered as a sit-down dinner in Waveny House, or for take away. The organization's 11th annual walk-run fundraiser, called "Make Tracks for Kids with Cancer," is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th, at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
