A podcast about X-Wing the Miniatures Game by 4 members of the St. Louis Arch Alliance X-Wing community.
What, the Scrubcast talking about X-Wing? Fitwest winner Conor returns for his slightly more legitimate prize of dubious value, which ends up being a chance to wax nostalgic about X-Wing. The news of X-Wing's end of official development gives rise to an emotionally complicated mix of grievance and hope.
The winner of the prize of dubious value for the Fitwest Scrub April is very belatedly announced. And the Scrubs review the variety of board games that we played at Geekway to the West board game convention.
The most important information in this episode is that the Scrubdown is postponed to an unknown date, maybe this summer, it depends on when our venue mysteriously returns or we break down and find a different one.
The less important information is what we did at Adepticon, stuff about dinosaurs, then somehow we got from there to sports where you hit each other, and then founding fathers trivia. I don't know!
The Scrubs are getting geared up to go to Adepticon, and to start in on Fitwest April! We discuss various games we're currently playing such as Helldivers, Senjutsu, and the Fast & Furious board game.
Unfortunately, the details of the Scrubdown are still up in the air due to our venue vanishing with no ETA on reappearance. We'll provide updates when we have something.
I don't even know how to summarize the stream of consciousness that is this episode, but it is time to get excited about Adepticon, and then Fitwest April, and then Geekway to the West, and then The Midwest Scrubdown itself! It's going to be a fun spring!
Most importantly, this episode announces the tentative date for the Midwest Scrubdown 3! Less importantly, there's Nintendo trivia, mead, and laser eyes.
At long last our October Fitwest winner of the dubious prize has joined us, and it's not the winner that was foretold! Thank you to Conor for joining us to talk about teeth and Deadlands and etc.

We're drawing the winner of the Fitwest Prize of Dubious Value [00:08:00], and this leads to all kinds of health and fitness talk, along with tales of Dan's roomba. Thanks for participating in the Fitwest October Challenge, and we hope you'll join us again in April!
If you're a tabletop gamer, which we have to assume you probably are, check out the soon-to-be-releasing game Senjutsu, which Clint describes about 40 minutes into the episode, it's a really neat Samurai-themed concept.

It's the start of the October Fitwest Challenge, and among other things we're talking about why don't school buses have seatbelts, why aren't pies made of oranges, and what is a Kolache to you?

Like a lot of other nerds, the Scrubs are getting into Baldur's Gate 3 right now, but first we had to talk about broken feet and Lorcana and Crystal Pepsi.

This episode is definitely not an ad for Pokemon Unite. It's also not an ad for chaos the board game and Pope Joan and the worst place to go canamping.

In an episode with nothing related even to Star Wars, the Scrubs discuss Spartan racing, Starship Troopers, and Skyrim the campaign style board game. Starship Troopers is at least space themed, right?

Congratulations to Travis, randomly drawn winner of the prize of dubious value of guesting on the podcast! With Travis along for the ride, we discuss park runs, backpacking, and board games.

The cast recaps the glory of the Midwest Scrubdown 2: The Empire Scrubs Your Back with tournament winner Will Scott. And also there's some fresh centaur content.
The Scrubs are fueled by free desserts, and ready to wrap up the story of the SWRPG campaign.

The Scrubs relate the epic adventure of their Star Wars RPG characters, and discuss some of the narrative strategies and game mechanics used by Clint to keep things entertaining and at least more on track than a Scrubcast opening.
It's almost Fitwest Scrub April Challenge time, so if you want to participate make sure you get in the Discord! https://discord.gg/92WJYpz
If you've been thinking about giving the most recent Star Wars Roleplaying Game from FFG a try, hang on til about halfway through this thing, and we'll get around to starting to tell you about our experiences with it!
Clint wrecked our content plan by being absent, so we're going rogue, and talking about...wire sheathing? And plausible zombies and eels. And the arrival of metal objective markers! If you want to pick up your order at World's please contact us.
